JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa, Palm Desert1 / 14
Palm Desert, 74-855 Country Club Drive 🧭 Map
I went for a business conference. First, I was assigned to a room facing the parking lot. Then I asked for a better view and assigned to a room facing the open atrium with a bar in the middle of the ground floor. It was a huge mistake. I could hear the loud bar crowds until 1 AM. The room itself was okay, except the room temperature seemed to be stuck at a "warm" setting despite trying to change...
We went to this JW after a quick trip to Joshua tree. Great spot. Not too far away from food and a Safeway across the street if you need it. It was hot so the pool was nice! Poolside bar service was perfect. We did the innovation kitchen at the restaurant and the chef and host were fun. The room was pretty large. Double balcony. Overall, id definitely return. I highly recommend.
I recently visited the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa over the week and spent a weekend with my family. I was very satisfied with the amount of kindness and respect every staff/service member holds. The lobby is beautiful, with high ceilings and have boat rentals that open at 4PM. All the staff are super friendly and always making sure that you are well and satisfied. I want to say a special...
My wife & I came for our honeymoon and we could not have been more pleased with our decision to stay here. The surrounding environment was stunning and the interior was absolutely gorgeous. Every employee we had the pleasure of interacting with was kind and helpful. The lobby bar staff in particular was an absolute blast to spend time with and represented their hotel excellently. We will certainly...
First time here at this property for me. Loved the hotel overall. I came here to attend a conference and my experience was great. They have a decent sushi restaurant in the main lobby area overlooking the lake they have surrounding the hotel. Their valet was decent - $11 up to 3 hours. Conference area is quite a hike which is pretty usual for all the hotels. Heard from my colleagues that the rooms...
Jamie, Jose, Mannie we’re awesome bartenders at the pool. They’re one of the reasons we stay at your resort

We had a two bedroom villa and it was beautiful. Very clean, spacious, nicely decorated and comfortable beds. Also the pool, gardens etc at the Resort are really nice.
Soooo awesome for large or multiple families! So clean, pool areas were great, central location to stores and restaurants, many kids activities (for adults too lol) and our villa was beautiful. Will definitely be going back, kids loved it and me too.
It is fun to go there. It has a pool. I think it has wheelchair accessible and it has a spa and no gym. I think the views are good. The rooms are small but good so I read it a nine out of 10.
Great Marriott vacation club! Loved the room; had a nice kitchen, living area, bedroom and thought it was interesting to have two sinks in the bathroom that were apart. Liked the balcony, but it felt very dusty so you couldn’t place anything down on the table. Room did feel a little old but it is a Marriott vacation club. Overall, good. Loved the amenities like the multiple pools. The gym was excellent...
Excellent rooms with incredible amenities. The staff was very friendly and it was conveniently located to many local shops and restaurants. All around awesome time!
Beautiful settings. Perfect for the family vacation. Well maintaining the golf course with great views.

I had 2 children on my trip. There were so many fun activities on site for them to enjoy. The itinerary day by day was absolutely the best. The 2nd room, full amenities in the kitchen. Best family trip to date.
Check in was easy with Rachel. Our room wasn't ready yet but they texted and called as soon as it was, within the hour. Any issues or questions we had all we had to do was text the number and they would respond within 5 min. Was a great family trip, we were there for 5 days, the villas were clean and they called after the 2nd day to see if anything was broken or not to our liking or if they could provide...
AWESOME Marriott resource with incredible amenities. We live it here and will definitely come back and recommend. The pools are awesome and the golf course is beautiful!
Its a sprawling complex so wear sandal or flip flops to get to the pools. They do have an internal shuttle but it gets cold at night in the winter so be sure to dry off before returning to your unit.
Clean and spacious place with friendly staff and guests. Love that it has "adult" and "family" pool areas. Family area has kiddy pool, splash pad, family pool, and hot tub.
Fantastic resort. Room was super comfy, stylish, quiet and large. We stayed in 1 bedroom villa and enjoyed separate large living room/kitchen. Pools were close by and have shaded lounges with misters keeping you cool even in 100+ weather. Staff was pleasant and attentive. Very quiet area but only 10 min drive to El Paseo and great restaurants and shopping.

Room had a microwave and small kitchen that was fully equipped. Good bed, good shower, clean. Great resort, 7 pools, BBQs, etc
Pros: Property was clean, even though at the end of my stay I found a small scorpion like bug in my bathtub. Beds are super comfy, love the floor lighting. Lots of little amenities included in the room such as dish soap, paper towels, extra trash bags, etc. Parking at each building is plentiful! There are water refill stations at the pool, but keep in mind they close at 10pm. You can also refill your...
Absolutely beautiful grounds and hotel. The room was clean and gorgeous. I stayed with my friend while we were in Palm Desert for a week. Last year, I stayed at the Shadow Ridge with my family. Both are well-kept with friendly staff. The main pool has drink specials throughout the week. We really enjoyed staying at the desert villas and definitely will be staying there again.
Overall, this is a nice resort. Facilities are clean, staff is generally friendly. However, it was difficult many times to get a hold of anyone when contacting the front desk. The phone would just ring and ring. Daily room cleaning is long gone. If you want your room cleaned during your stay it will cost you an extra $140 US 😳. What I found really disappointing is that there is no quiet/adult pool...
Villas II have been updated recently. Comfortable and convenient. Pools within walking distance from any unit. Just about every unit is on the golf course or very close to it.
Very spacious and quiet. Perfect with the kids for a family getaway. A bit far to walk up to the main hotel with kids (ours were under 3 at the time) - but the pool outside our door was basically just for us the entire trip. Will be back - October weather was fantastic

I loved this place the service the rooms everything was clean my wife usually never likes to use the hotels sheets but she did here and was super impressed we always try different spots but this will be our go to now. Can’t wait to be back .
We met up with family from different states. We didn't pick, they did as it was their timeshare points. July 10 is too hot, but we managed to enjoy our visit. Hot hot hot. Hung out at the pool and stayed in air-conditioned rooms. Full kitchen. So we brought groceries and cooked. We had Connecting suites. 4 families. Taking turns cooking meals. It was nice.
Lovely place to stay of you want a bit of privacy in Palm Springs. The resort has 5 pools and no reason to leave! If you want to have your own kitchen and cook meals in the desert, this is a great option. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, but don't forget spices and cooking oils like I did! Comfortable bed and great amenities, we especially loved the bath tub. Obviously a lot of families...
The is a very nice family-friendly resort. There are 3 pools that you can take kids to. There is a quiet pool also. They have bbqs. The rooms are very nice and clean with a kitchen area, washer and dryer. It is a home away from home.
A perfect experience. My family and I loved this place. Service was great. Resort was beautiful and expansive with all the amenities you could want, including waterslides, pool bar, games room, and more. Rooms were large and nicely appointed. Staff was all very attentive, genuinely kind, and helpful. I want to keep going back.
Enjoyed the villa! Not sure why the negative reviews, but this place was awesome… clean, spacious units, updated rooms, comfy bed. Beautiful grounds and golf course. Wish we could have stayed longer to use the pool and walk the grounds but will stay here if ever back in Palm Springs.

This was a stopover for us coming from Vegas and going to LA. It was scorching hot outside, so were glad to move into a nicely conditioned bungalow with perfect amenities. We saw nice pools and golf courses and there is a Starbucks store opposite the reception.
I absolutely loved my stay here. The scenery was amazing. The room extremely spacious. My villa was near the pool. They kept it very clean and well maintenance. Very quiet peaceful. Near convenient stores and restaurants. I love the new renovations. This location also has shuttle service, golf, activities for the family and tons of amenities. Going back soon.
The rooms are very nice - spacious and beautifully furnished. The kitchens are well stocked and connect to the sunken living room with an electric fireplace. Lots of activities including tennis and golf.
Beautiful, huge facility. The rooms are very nicely decorated. The large enough for 2 bath tub is something I would come back for. Lovely setting, spent much time on the patio just taking it all in.
Perfect getaway with a great view of golf course and mountains as a backdrop. Tons of activities to indulge yourself as well. Too bad for use that we stayed here with our 3 months old and couldn’t get much out of this place. But would definitely love to stay here again and again.
The guest room was beautiful, the bath, a huge tub, beautiful shower, 2 separate sinks. They have a nice kitchenette. Refrigerator is great and has an ice maker in it so you don’t have to go out to get ice all the time. We stayed 4 nights and was just a very welcoming feeling to stay there. Thank you.

Cool place. Awesome vibes. Tennis tournament today. Great people. Very friendly. Good eats. Had a good time. You should check it out. You're most likely gonna enjoy yourself.
While a little dated, this resort was a perfect place for our multifamily vacation/wedding. A big shout out to the folks at the "Above the Eight" restaurant for exceptional service and friendliness. Pools and pickleball were a hit with our teenage and young 20s kids.
My daughter and I really liked the original Palm Desert/Palm Springs feel and feel of the exterior of this hotel. Our room was remodeled so it was more modern but had accents of that same feel. The pool is gigantic and was a bit chilly for November, but it wasn't a super hot weekend and it felt really nice after our hike. We were right by the pool and the slamming gate was kind of loud and one guest...
The room was beautiful with a fantastic view. It was quiet and clean. I would absolutely stay here again. The staff was nice, we never had to ask for anything as the room was well stocked. If you need to stay somewhere in Palm Springs, stay here.
We stay here whenever we can. It's one of the oldest "hotels" in the area. We get the room on the ground floor by the pool.. It's our favorite... But we've also been upstairs overlooking the tennis courts. They all have kitchenettes and plenty of room... King bed with a small living room... Bathrooms are good size and have the shower and toilet separate from the sink and area to get ready. They...
I'm a member of the tennis club but have not stayed in the resort. My experience has been first class throughout.

Been staying here just under 2 months and I honestly feel it's the BEST HOTEL IN THE DESERT IF U WANT MORE QUALITY FOR YOUR BUCK RATHER THEN QUANTITY I would definitely recommend this spot to people
It was clean, quiet, and the staff was very friendly. I stayed in the King Loft and it had a comfortable bed, solid internet, an Echo Dot bedside, and a Roku-enabled TV. Walking distance to El Paseo shops and restaraunts.
The manager was able to reached by text and was very flexible with us during some changing plans at Coachella. He even stayed up to 3 A.M. to make sure we made it in safely!
Got there late on Saturday after visiting friends at Omni Resort n Spa. Owner was very friendly, efficient. Nice flight up to the spacious room. Modern chic. Liked the available in-room drinks and snacks for sale. Loved the hot pool in the AMs for aquatic therapy fun. The loungers and table sets were comfy. Balcony was a nice touch--view of car park. A few tips: toilet is so low even my knees felt...
This hotel was above and beyond what I expected. The room we had was very clean and had a beautiful kitchen. The hotel is a little in the older side, but the renovations made it feel like new. I will definitely stay again and highly recommend.

I just went there for a presentation. So I didn't really see much of the resort or rooms. But what I did see seemed fairly upscale. I usually stay directly in Palm springs. So the location while not that far seemed a bit remote to me.
The accommodations are a gem in the desert. It's a new Hilton Grand Vacation facility that is small related to the average size of HGV places, but it is very quiet and personal. There are family and adult sections that make it even more convenient. The pools are very nice with large hot tube pools as well. The outside shower feature was a nice surprise. The old Embarc features had a lot of nice touches...
Love this place, we visit from Seattle about once a year. It is essentially a condo setup so service it not the same as a hotel. The units are spacious, clean and comfortable.. concrete floors are great for my allergies 😁👍
Our room came with a kitchen, a covered patio with outdoor fireplace and a king sized bed. I slept like a baby. I enjoyed the outdoor covered shower. Everything was clean and wonderful. Check in is not till 4 now. Pool was dirty with bugs floating on top.
Wow. Stop over on a work trip. Wow. Wish we had known how nice the property was before going to eat. What an amazing opportunity we missed to stop for some groceries and grill and cook an amazing dinner to enjoy the room and views. The apartment is very well furnished and very clean and modern. Any kitchen appliance you need is also available from a room order list should your cooking adventures require...
The property was clean / spotless, kitchens well-equipped, facilities excellent. Best of all - the staff. They were welcoming, friendly and attentive. On our first night we got a late call from the front desk to tell us our car lights had been left on. They saved our battery running down and a lot of hassle the next day.

The pool and hot tub were great! We had a suite, so enjoyed our own breakfasts and evening snacks, as we were very busy all day.
Check in was not ready as promised but it appeared to be an accident out of hotels control. But we were still able to check in a bit earlier. Our room was spacious and clean. Their was some change and food crumbs in sofa bed. Kitchen was clean and fully stocked. Fridge clean. Bathroom spacious amd clean. Location was in walking distance of so much. Parking was perfect. Pool perfectly warm. Staff was...
To be completely honest, I was not expecting much in terms of hospitality, but I got far more than what I was expecting. Kevin at the front desk is a delight!!! Would definitely stay again if I am in this area again!! Lookout for the paintings all over the inn, they are beautiful!! My only recommendation is to have both a bodywash and a shampoo in the bathroom.
We came to this hotel from LAX after a 13 hr international flight. This hotel provided us with peaceful rest. The room is spacious, the beddings are comfortable, the bed is pretty good. We have a wonderful stay. We were too tired to try the swimming pool and the hot tub, but they looked great! Overall, this is a very good hotel to stay! Thumbs up!
This is a very relaxing place to visit. The customer service is great. They gave us a free upgrade, which we greatly enjoyed! The Hot tub and pool under towering palm trees is a great way to spend an evening. The rooms are clean and spacious. Great place to stop by if you are in the area!
The staff was great and we enjoyed the facilities including the pool and hottub. We had our bikes and were able to cycle east to palm springs and west to La Quinta so loved the location too.

Spacious king suite; spotless and well maintained. Room decorated nicely and the courtyard a peaceful and beautiful treat. Comfy bed. The continental breakfast had good variety. Price very reasonable. Kudos to Kim on such wonderful accommodations. Special thanks to Allen for his care and our conversations.
Had the loveliest stay here. Charming ambiance, great location, rooms with plenty of privacy, and Kim was the most accommodating host!! I’ve been to the desert several times and this was absolutely my favorite place I’ve stayed. Will definitely be back soon. Thank you!
The 5/5 reviews as seen in other reviews is accurate. This place is adorable and comfortable. Kimberly (the owner) is amazing. She's kind, very pleasant and accommodating. The continental breakfast was excellent with lots of variety. The proximity of this Inn to El Paseo is ideal. My husband and I stayed here recently and didn't want to leave. We will certainly come back. Thank you Kimberly.
This is hotel is one of a kind! It all begins with the owner Kim. She is amazing, kind and determined to make sure your stay is the best it can be! Then there is the courtyard, pool, breakfast, great location and of course a clean comfortable room! The courtyard is beautifully decorated with lounge chairs, tables and several umbrellas to hide from the sun. The pool is exceptionally clean! The breakfast...
Absolutely stunning! Last minute, late night get away did not disappoint! The host was amazing and other guests were welcoming and friendly. Hidden adult resort and desert gem close to shops and restaurants. But beware town closes early so make sure you get food first! Will definitely be coming back very, very soon.
My wife and i were looking for a quick, couple day getaway around Christmas time and stumbled upon this little gem. The owner, who checked us in was amazing! So pleasant and accommodating. She even brought us drinks to our room and made sure we knew how to operate the satellite system and heating unit. Super! Fairways are carpet. No dry patches at all. Green surroundings are also well-groomed. Green itself is wonderful! Will definitely come back!
I have been playing this course for 20 years and it keeps getting better and better. The new owners are to be complemented on their work to improve the quality and condition of the course. Thank you
Average course for the area that isn't well maintained or challenging, but a good outing with friends. Not a track I would recommend, unless you can get a free round. Plenty of courses in the area offering a much better experience. FOLLOW ME for more thoughtful recommendations as I travel the world 🌎
Stayed at a rental condo for three weeks in February. The resort is very large and has 20+ pools well located throughout. Nice golf course and tennis/pickle ball courts but lacks a health club or any workout equipment. The bar/restaurant was open but had a pretty limited menu that didn't appeal to us.
Enyoyed the first 9 holes, then got too windy. I would go again, good price and course is in good shape.
Great challenging course. We played in the wind, it was tough. Lots of pretty water holes and beautiful mountain views.
