JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa

My wife & I came for our honeymoon and we could not have been more pleased with our decision to stay here. The surrounding environment was stunning and the interior was absolutely gorgeous. Every employee we had the pleasure of interacting with was kind and helpful. The lobby bar staff in particular was an absolute blast to spend time with and represented their hotel excellently.
We will certainly be coming back and are encouraging our friends & loved ones to join us.

I went for a business conference. First, I was assigned to a room facing the parking lot. Then I asked for a better view and assigned to a room facing the open atrium with a bar in the middle of the ground floor. It was a huge mistake. I could hear the loud bar crowds until 1 AM.
The room itself was okay, except the room temperature seemed to be stuck at a "warm" setting despite trying to change the thermostat. The bathroom is pretty nice with a shower enclosure, a water closet with a frosted glass wall, a large vanity, and a freestanding tub. The swimming pool and pond were beautiful. There were a few black swans swimming around, and there were a few boats that would go around the hotel. Unfortunately, the boats stop running at 7 PM. It was too hot to take a boat ride in a 111°F weather.
The restaurants offered fresh seafood and friendly service.

We went to this JW after a quick trip to Joshua tree. Great spot. Not too far away from food and a Safeway across the street if you need it. It was hot so the pool was nice! Poolside bar service was perfect. We did the innovation kitchen at the restaurant and the chef and host were fun. The room was pretty large. Double balcony. Overall, id definitely return. I highly recommend.

I recently visited the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa over the week and spent a weekend with my family. I was very satisfied with the amount of kindness and respect every staff/service member holds. The lobby is beautiful, with high ceilings and have boat rentals that open at 4PM. All the staff are super friendly and always making sure that you are well and satisfied. I want to say a special thank you to the cleaning crew, they are very hardworking people. We had left to eat brunch, and our room was very messy. After brunch we had came back to our room and came back to a beautiful, clean, organized room with fresh towels, with water bottles. The staff at the pool were beyond friendly always attending me and my family. There is much to do on this resort. There is a little hidden spot I found near the Spa & Gym where you can sit near the lake with a garden. The pools are great! The Daybed rental that me and my family got was worth the price. It came with a bucket of waters and a fruit tray along with some lemonades. My parents would not stop talking about the Spa and how great the Salt Pool is. We are defenitely coming back soon again, and I am bringing ALL of my family with me.

First time here at this property for me. Loved the hotel overall.

I came here to attend a conference and my experience was great. They have a decent sushi restaurant in the main lobby area overlooking the lake they have surrounding the hotel.

Their valet was decent - $11 up to 3 hours.

Conference area is quite a hike which is pretty usual for all the hotels.

Heard from my colleagues that the rooms are recently remodeled and looks nice.

I had a wonderful time at this resort. All the staff were so nice which is rare during high stay volume times. The rooms are decently sized with large bathrooms. There were also some nice views from various parts of the hotel. I do recommend their breakfast buffet which was very satisfying. I recommend also booking ahead for decent room rates.

This is the place i always ran to, and still do, Just because. I consider this place "heaven". Ok, it can be expensive..but its beautiful paradise to me. They have pools and hot tubs. They have a full service spa. There are restaurants to eat at. There is a sushi bar in the lobby, and well as a regular bar. There are birds in the day time. And during certain hours they have a boat that takes you on the lake. Absolutely heaven to me.

JW Marriott in Palm Desert is super nice and beautiful resort. They have the man-made lake and free running boat around the complex and to their restaurants. It is a first class service hotel, the facility, golf course, rooms, restaurants are amazing and surrounding with mountain and golf course views. They are in the central of Palm Desert and many wonderful and up scale restaurants in the area. It is a good place for shopping too and amazing wines collection @ Total Wine store in town. If you want to push yourself to the limit and find out your enduring, hitting the hike trails when the temperature could reach 100+ during the mid-day, it is a challenge for sure and remember to bring lot of water and know your limit. It is not a hiking trail for casual hiker for surw.
