Motel 6 Redmond
Redmond, 2247 South Highway 97 🧭 Map
Big enough room. Hardwood floor. Room was fresh and clean, looks like they did renovation some time ago. AC in the room. Hotel is located in a quiet area far enough from noisy roads. Having coffee machine and shampoo in the room would be nice. The bed was fine, but pillow could be better. Overall I was happy about the stay in the hotel.
The young kid with semi long hair at the front desk was delightful. He worked a 16 hour shift when I was there and still nice and helpful as he could be. We’ve used this motel for our Redmond stays over the last 6 years. I was a little disappointed our tv didn’t work with our recent visit. Other than that I do enjoy our stays here and will keep coming back!
I appreciated the phone call before arrival, confirming my check-in time. When I arrived, I was greeted by name and the check-in process was very smooth. When I needed to check-out a day early, the front desk staff was very helpful as well. Thank you for a great stay!
The room was clean and nice. The only complaint I had was that the guy at the desk made checking in a bit difficult. For whatever reason your system would not scan my driver's license and he acted like we would not be able to get the room. He ended up using my husband's, but I wonder the outcome had he not been there to use his... Maybe on busy weekends like this one there needs to be a faster...
We stayed here for a quick overnight stay after flying into Redmond to explore Central Oregon. The hotel was (very) close to the airport, easy to find and in a good location (close to stores, restaurants, gas, etc). Staff was super friendly and the hotel was clean. I'd definitely stay here again if in the area! (As an added bonus for those needing pet-friendly accommodations, there is no additional...
I know all about handicap accessible rooms. I was not only on the joint task force for the USDA Forest Service when the ADA laws were first going into effect. My wife and I also owned and managed s small motel in Haines, Alaska. The room we had stayed in goes a very long way of providing the same amount of care and comfort that I am sure your other guests are obtaining. We will see if the next time...

I traveled to Redmond for work and my Company booked this hotel for me. The room was clean and warm, the indoor pool and hot tub was Amazing. They had a decent Breakfast in the mornings. I'd stay there again.
The room was homey and the blankets were cozy. Good sized TV too. I gotta give a shout out to 2 if the employees here, Nyolonna and Jessica. They gave me an incredible rate on the room! Thank you so much for your hospitality!!
Check in was smooth, room was clean and comfortable. They don't have continental breakfast but they make sure I knew that before I made the reservation. You get a 10% off at Applebee's thats about a block away (don't eat there horrible service and food)pool was cold but the hot tube was great.
The beds were quite nice for me and rooms were a fair price for the area. The breakfast was quite a bit lack luster and the shower head was barely hanging on. No bed bugs, clean room, and pet friendly for only $10 per pet per night.
Originally placed in room 210, that room smelled funky like mold or mildew, so asked to be placed in a different room. Got placed into 215, which was much nicer. The mini fridges don't have freezers so I had my frozen egg rolls stored at the front desk. Only got 2 of them before they were eaten or thrown out. Despite the lack of hot breakfast, staying at this hotel was pleasant. I would definitely...
Pretty good! Pool and room was clean, a little out of date but for the price I can't complain. If you're planning on making use of the breakfast be prepared for a bunch of white carbs and sugar.

Nice but not the friendliest place. The aerie cafe staff was friendly though. They also advertise that kids eat free but there's a bit of wrangling there. Overall i would recommend it but don't expect them to go out of their way to make you comfortable. Pet friendly-ish and kid friendly. The grounds themselves are very beautiful. The restaurant choices and proximity to Redmond and bend are great. Aside...

The room was very clean and comfortable. They were refurbishing upstairs rooms when we were leaving.
We rode our motorcycles and looking for a spot to stay. I indicated I needed a downstairs room. Teasingly he said he had an upstairs room. Turned out I got a downstairs room with a kitchen and extra seating area for the same price as a regular room. He even moved his car for our friends so that they could have their motorcycles out in front of their room. Because someone else had taken their spot....
The price was great! Husband and I had an amazing night of sleep in the Queen bed. Not sure what mattresses and pillows they use, but very comfy. In all honesty, the place is older, but it's kept clean. I really loved the kitchenette and full size fridge and freezer, we had a cooler full of food and drinks and it was a pleasant surprise. They also provide an efficient continental breakfast spread...
Cheapest place around on a holiday weekend. Not a bad place for a night and friendly staff. Pros - price, location, pet friendly, mini fridge/microwave/coffee maker. Cons - dates rooms, very few outlets, small bed
Great place to stay on the fly, would recommend to anyone looking for a nice stay at an awesome price!
Newly remodeled room. Continental breakfast not bad simple. The price you can't beat. I enjoyed it very much.

Shout out to the lady at the front desk. Thank you. It was past 10pm and we where tired. Every hotel was booked in bend. The first few in Redmond where to. She sounded as of we woke her, sorry if we did. But we where able to get in to a room with no issues. Thank you once again. The rooms are on the smaller side, bed desk chair bathroom sink tub tv. Standered room all in all. Rooms are clean great...
This is a very inexpensive hotel, but be prepared to accept what you pay for when you visit. The rooms smell and need airing. The bed was extremely firm. The shower grout had mold patches. However, when we cancelled the second night, our money was refunded promptly.
End up having to stay at this hotel when the original place we reserved in advanced had over booked gave away our reservation! We were very lucky tgey had a few round still available. If you have ever gone to this area in the summer you know how hard it is to find lodging. This motel is much better than it looks on the outside. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. The bed was really comfortable, I had flown in from Australia that morning and managed to sleep for 14 hours straight
Had to get a hotel quick, we have a family member in the ICU at st. Charles. They were absolutely amazing, and so accommodating as we were extending our stay, and making changes constantly. The team was so sweet every time we needed something, and even checked in with us about how our loved one was doing. 10/10 stay, and next time I’m in town I hands down will stay here. The room sizes and cleanliness...
We were looking for a lower priced hotel in Bend and took a chance on the waypoint. We were glad we did. The cost was almost half of some of the national chains. But the experience was as good. Our room was clean and spacious. It was quiet all night even though we were by the pool. The fire pit area was really relaxing. The only thing was the continental breakfast was not much.
I stay here about once a month and I can honestly say I am never disappointed every time I come. The decor is modern and the huge mirror is an added bonus. There is quite a bit of storage and the rooms are always clean really well. So kudos to the maid service there because they always do an excellent job and I have never been disappointed every time I've come to stay.
We hosted a family reunion at the hotel. We had quite a few of the rooms and the event space (Cascade Room). The staff was accommodating and the rooms were nice. They are in the process of renovating some of the rooms, but we stayed in a double king room. It's really nice to have the space to spread out. There was a small fridge and microwave in the room as well as a keurig coffee machine. There were...
Decent place to lay your head. The rooms were very clean and I think recently redone since it seemed very modern for such an ugly facade. The staff at the front desk were very nice and I could walk to downtown in ten minutes.

Cute, older motel. Yes, the rooms show their age, but beds were very comfortable and rooms were very clean. Loved our stay here!
The folks at the front desk were pleasant, parking was easy, and the room was very nice. The best mini fridge I've had anywhere -it had a separate freezer compartment! The room was quiet, had TWO chairs and TWO bedside tables for our single queen! The bed was comfy and the bed linens very nice. The decorations were very thoughtful and I really appreciate that the bed and bath linens were not drenched...
older property, but it is in great condition and has been refurbished recently enough. its a typical 1970s style roadside motel, exterior doors to a breezway. rates are very affordable, its close to downtown Bend and lots of places to eat - even within walking distance. the crowd staying looked a little rough, but it was quiet and felt safe.
For the price, this motel is pretty good. The room was a little small, but it was clean and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. The woman at the front desk was very friendly. The reason I gave 4 stars for the room was because the wifi was a little touchy. There are more than one connection and at once point, none of them wanted to connect. Once connected though, it was fine...
Amazing location! You can walk to the bus, to downtown and there is food nearby. The rooms are ok, perfect for the price. Clean and comfortable. I did have some problem with the check in, for some reason they kept asking if i brought a pet with me. Wich i didn't and trying to charge me extra.
We love coming here, especially for the price. They've updated a bit. Wifi is a bit slow and the sink drains a little slow. But it's clean, cozy, and the front desk lady is so kind. I also like that it's behind the businesses off a main road so traffic noises are very muffled.

The room I got for $85 a few days was way nicer than I was expecting. I'd stayed here once or twice before and it wasn't nearly as clean or updated as it was this last time. I was also surprised to find a whole separate bedroom. The bathroom and beds were clean. It had hard floors, I'm guessing vinyl, so I wasn't worried about ick there. Even the curtains and inside the AC vents were tidy and not gross...
Classic family owned motel: very friendly and clean. Our room included an easy to operate coffee pot and a small refrigerator. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed the small touches of decor from India.
Truly the best experience I’ve ever had staying at a motel. Every little detail was well thought out and just perfect. Some examples: fridge made zero noise (most hum loudly at hotels), the place didn’t just look clean, it felt clean (even the air was super clean, which I was grateful for as an asthmatic), the bedding and pillows and bed were amazingly comfortable (firm-ish bed + fluffy/squishy comforter...
The people were very friendly. Our room #108 was newly remodeled and clean. But I didn't notice until after I left the price was $11 dollars more than I was quoted on the phone. Also no shampoo and a funny dirty chair that blocked the doors to the other bedroom and bathroom.
This place is a diamond in the rough! Room is clean, quiet and nicely updated. We stayed in the 2 story building in the back. The bed was very comfy. Also, I love having a mini-fridge, microwave and coffee pot in the room. I even liked their soap and organic shampoo! The staff are friendly, accommodating and helpful. We just stayed for a week in the cascade suite and loved it. Comfy beds, comfy pillows, perfect location with everything you need right there including excellent restaurants. Quiet, clean, daily housekeeping, and we loved having use of the laundry, the sauna and steam room. Will definitely return whenever we visit Bend.
Perfect location in downtown Bend with easy access to everything. The hotel itself is beautiful and the staff goes above and beyond to accommodate your stay. Very large rooms, comfy beds and wonderful bathrooms only enhance the experience for any type of stay. Luxury hotel in downtown Bend Oregon. Beautifully-appointed room furnished with eclectic and comfortable furniture. Room service available featuring the in-hotel restaurant, Roam. Breakfast is awesome! Nice robes provided. French press coffee service and good selection of tea bags. Huge tub with handcrafted soaps, and a large walk-in shower. Just blocks away from Franklin Park and Deschutes River.
Only two flaws with this otherwise outstanding hotel. The bed is not very comfortable, I expect better from a hotel of this caliber. Also, no windows can be opened in the room so the air seems "stale".
Really fantastic hotel. The staff was really friendly, the rooms were very nice. The bed and the pillows we're the best I have ever had in a hotel (they give you the option of 4 different pillow types). Solid fitness center and amenities, I will definitely go back to this hotel.

I'm a frequent Hilton traveler and picked the DoubleTree by Hilton in Bend Oregon because of the amenities that were advertised. What I found upon my arrival was... less than hoped. The digital key? It is highly dependent on who happens to be at the front desk. I can tell you that both the managers and particularly Page will provide you with absolutely stellar customer service. Beautiful building. Really nice beer! I had the vegan Jamaican bowl and it was not great, very soggy and maybe too many flavors happening, I couldn’t finish even half… instant indigestion (but also I’m getting old so maybe it’s just me haha). The space is worth a visit for sure
Went there for a movie and it was great! Love that you can eat a full meal while sitting on a couch and watch a movie with a great projector and sound system. Highly recommend
We went for the first time to the public soaking pool. We entered in the pub at first by mistake. 2 employees saw us standing there waiting with towels but said nothing to help us figure out where to go. We eventually made it to the hotel and had to wait almost 10min for the man to get off the phone before we could even ask if that was the right location. By this point, it was past our reservation...

Super heady spot 👌 everyone was chill. Beers were lit 👌 food was 🔥 possibly a little skimp tho. Environment was top tier. I don't know what I expected from my first time coming here but I feel like my gut always veered me in other directions for reasons. It's tucked away in plain sight and makes me feel like when I'd drive through Lynnwood in California. While I know nothing bad is going to happen...
My other reservation cancelled on me while I was already headed in from out of town. Sonoma Lodge was able to take me in at midnight with no notice at a great price. The rooms are clean and updated. Would recommend
Staff was friendly. Room was decent - a few house keeping errors like not cleaning out the coffee machine, not vacuuming the edges of the room, the room had a smell that you got used to but noticed every time you re enter. They covered the basics: clean bed, clean bathroom, clean towels. Overall not a bad stay for the price.
Cheap, clean, and a super cozy bed that allowed us to sleep so well. Nothing fancy, was cozy enough and the people that work here are nice. Only complaint is there didn't seem to be hot water, luckily I didn't need to shower so that was fine.

Rooms are great, so is the price, but some of the staff at the front desk need to seek employment elsewhere. We would stay again, but if the same counter person was to help us again.... I think I'd take them out back and teach them some manners...

Budget hotel. They are in the midst of remodeling, not a single plug in in the bathroom, so no way to plug in a hair dryer or other appliances. The bathroom was newly tiled and clean. Room was clean and satisfactory. Hotel office carpet was grimey and dirty, but carpet in room was clean.
This is an inexpensive motel, but quite clean and safe feeling. We probably had a better time at the pool because more pool users go to more expensive hotels. We have came and stayed here for 22 years. The view - incredible. There have been some upgrades recently like around the pool, a new dishwasher, a new kitchen faucet, etc. Most of it is SO outdated. Bend Oregon is a fantastic city. Lots to do and see. Tetherow is a very nice place to stay with very nice rooms, comfy beds and great views. The only draw back is that the house keepers start at 6:00 and that's the time all the doors begin slamming without concern for the guests trying to sleep in and relax.
