This was my second stay at the Inn at Golden Gate. Perfect location for a SF visit, just outside Presidio Lombard Gate. Easy walk to Crissy Field and Golden Gate Bridge. Quick access to bus to everywhere. Walk to Chestnut Street shops and eateries. Not a fancy motel, but quite serviceable. Quiet. Note: refrigerator, but no microwave.

This is a good budget hotel. Stayed here for 2 nights and had a good stay. Rooms are decent, has mini fridge, filtered water, tv. Rooms are updated, carpet does not need cleaning. Walls aren't that paper thin. Could not hear anybody snoring. Location is great being only 1 mile from the beach. Nearby restaurants and Walgreens. Only complaint is parking only has 7 spots!!! First come first serve, lucky we got a spot. Also you do need a credit card to check in. But I think the card you used to purchase the room works cause mine did so idk. Anyways good hotel.

I have stayed at this property a couple of times over the years. Location adjacent to the Presidio and within walking distance to neighborhood shops and restaurants is great. The room I had was more basic and smaller than expected. The room had a fridge but no microwave. No breakfast in the morning. Given the location and price I would stay here again.

Rooms out dated,carpet definitely needs cleaning or replacing. Check in was easy and the front desk operator was great help! Had to park on the street, but was a quiet neighborhood near Golden Gate Park. Location was awesome! With a great little bar ( The Final Final ) right next door.

Stayed here for 11 nights. All people who work here were extremely helpful to us, they even allowed us order things from Amazon to the hotel and picked up the products when we were outside of the hotel and gave it to us as soon as we were back. I definitely recommend this hotel. No need to stay in the dirty hotels at Union Square while this one exists. It is clean and it's not hard to travel from here to pretty much anywhere in the city.

My daughter and her partner booked a room here for last night, 12/9/22. The room was out dated, dirty, the heater didn't work and they gave them a portable heater which was also dirty and the man at the counter wasn't the best either. They had another room available with a working heater but wouldn't move them unless they paid more. So the asked for a refund and he told them that wasntbgood for him. The only good thing was he did give them a refund and at midnight they found another room. The photos they have posted on the internet should be fraud. The rooms do not look that nice or clean.

Room was clean and comfy, parking was kinda difficult, no coffee maker or microwave but there was a fridge. Stayed 2 nights, would stay again.

This place is reasonably priced and in a top location if you want to visit the Golden Gate Bridge. The rooms are clean but showing their age. The staff are friendly and honest. No breakfast included, but you can reach a super delicious restaurant with breakfast in a few minutes' walk.

Very clean and peaceful. Close to a lot of attractions like the Marina, Lombard and Chestnut streets. Easy access to public transportation and very walkable. It's got a small parking lot in the property. Good fares for what it offers and location.

Guys the free parking is a lie. They don't have enough parking spots even for one third of the rooms. We even had hard time parking in the street because not enough spot. Beside that the motel is supper basic, not even coffee maker and microwave. The only good thing about this motel is that it's very close to golden Gate Bridge and 10 minutes walking to beautiful palace of fine arts.
