It's all about the great location and this hotel has it. The rooms and halls are pretty basic and parking in the ramp was expensive, but being able to leave your car in a spot all day not having to worry about paying several times and trying to find spots to park all over, let alone towing, was worth it.
The fisherman's pier is just a few blocks away. If you like to explore the city on your feet...
I’ve stayed here multiple times . It’s a good place to stay . I’ve taken my children with me on a few occasions and it is very kids friendly . It’s located right near many restaurants and a CVS if have a quick shopping need . They provide great customer and Bell service. The room is always clean and they provide robes for you to use . There is a pool a restaurant. There is a small little cafe in the...
Really nice hotel in a perfect location near the wharf area. Staff is friendly and the rooms are nice. The only issue is having to walk through a cloud of cigarette and cigar smoke when you enter and leave the hotel. They have a huge and lovely sitting area where they allow smoking making it unusable for non-smokers and obnoxious as you enter and leave. Quite surprising for a California hotel which...
Very nice hotel. Walking distance from Pier 39. We had a great room and an awesome experience. Super friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again. Only down side is the parking but that's San Francisco for you. At least the staff gave me some advice for cheaper parking across the street at safway.
I would have given it 5 stars but the parking was an absurd $70 night. That's just a ripoff. Go across the street or down the street in its $30 night. The location is excellent. It's directly across the street from fisherman's wharf. Rooms are very nice. I have seen complaints about the bedding but we thought the bed was very comfortable. There is a fair amount of construction/remodel going on but...
The gentleman that checked me in (Tommy) was excellent. Helpful, friendly and very professional. He took care of me quickly and efficiently even though I had some questions.
Hotel is good, room was surprisingly small. Two beds in that room was very "cozy" but not in a good way. Grounds to be well kept, clean. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel
The breakfast buffet was fantastic. It’s the only one I’ve heard of in San Francisco. The hotel itself was also very nice and location is great.

Great and fast service. I required some toiletries and they arrived within a few minutes with it.
TV controller wasn't working too well so had difficulty using the TV.
Room was very clean and bed very comfortable during my stay.
Location was very convenient close to work but too many homeless around the block pissing in the middle of the sidewalks.
I was positively surprised by the design and atmosphere of the hotel, the interior decoration is truly amazing. The room was comfortable and big as the hotel rooms in the US usually are. Breakfast was excellent and had a variety of dishes. The gym was large and almost professional quality. I did not find anything to complain about. Service was friendly.
Clean and comfortable room and I had a nice view as well. They can provide you with any amenities that you need, even a yoga mat. The gym is quite big. Nice lobby area with a restaurant. The front desk staff were easy to deal with. Located on a main street in a safe area.
Literally writing this at 1:15am because, while I was thrilled to get a top floor room, it is next to the elevator bank. Consistent banging from the elevator mechanisms (or who knows), punctuated on occasion with slamming sound that was similar to someone hitting the wall (it wasn’t this). It was enough to rouse me from sleep several times, even after putting earplugs in. Otherwise a great room despite...
It's a decent hotel. Rooms are clean and modern. You really can't beat the location- it's centrally located yet is still on a safer side to easily walk around to major spots like Union Square, Chinatown, and the Ferry Building. I would honestly prefer to stay here since it was still close enough to major areas but didn't come with all the noisiness and other concerns. I can tell the place is trying...
Found out I needed to check in before midnight. Just made it by 1130pm. Chatted with the very personable young lady at the front desk about her kids. They were nearly full for a conference but she very kindly upgraded me to a room with two beds on the top floor. Excellent customer service.

Location was great! A short walk to Union Square and to Chinatown as well.
There isn't a comparison to the excellence that we have experienced with the staff during our stay. From the moment driving up, the valet was immediately there welcoming us and taking care of check-in. We unfortunately only had one day in san francisco and had quite a task to try to experience as much as possible with the time constraints. The concierge took care of that for us. We were given a route...
Our Stay at Four Seasons was absolutely perfect!!! Gabriela at Front desk was very helpful and courteous. The bedding was amazingly comfortable. Surprisingly they call you by your name everytime they see you ... 🙂 can't wait to come back...
Our stay at The Four Seasons Hotel at Embarcadero was flawless. Location was great, close to many attractions in the city and in a relatively safer/better area of SF downtown.
From the time we checked in to check out. Staff were all friendly, polite and accommodating to all of our requests. I recommend rooms with bay to bay, panoramic view and a higher floor. Views are incredible. I got exactly what...
Every time I visit a Four Seasons property, it is such a special experience. I have stayed in countless five star hotels all over the world, one thing that always sets apart Four Seasons from the rest of the hotels is their top notch service. I was quite pleased with my room, everything was as visually appealing as it was comfortable. I think this property has some of the best views of San Francisco...
This hotel is an absolute gem. I am no expert in the hotel business by any stretch of the imagination, but I can recognize when a business is run like a well-oiled machine. From the moment we walked into the front doors it was nothing but smooth interactions, delicious cocktails, and a wonderful room with a breathtaking view of the city. They claim to have the best views of any hotel in the city, and...

· The croissants were dry. I paid for breakfast directly at the hotel, there was no record of it. We sorted this out at the front desk and were embarrassedly turned away at the restaurant. It was sorted at the end. The room was quite warm
Great location. Easy access to a lot of places. Get a high floor for a view. Pool is on the 16th floor.
A very good hotel. The breakfasts are wonderful.
Strange problem - do not provide a Shuttle service to the airport. Otherwise all good, rather the opposite - very well, you feel like a Man!
Excellent property. They are very generous with upgrades for HHonors members, provide a wait free check-in with the digital key option, through the app, and were very attentive to my needs via text. What could be more convenient than that? It's also in a great location in the city, very close to car rental facilities, should you decide to drive to the coast or wine country. This is an absolutely beautiful hotel! The rooms are well decorated and make you feel like you are in a boutique hotel instead of a large chain. Good location and walking distance to pretty much anything. The staff was nothing but nice and extemerly helpful.
Great value for the quality of service, the central location, and the quality of the rooms. The staff are always very friendly and helpful and check-in is very quick. The rooms are quiet and comfortable and the location is hard to beat.
The breakfast was great for the price (~$20) but this has been closed for renovations I believe for quite some time.
The hotel restaurant is good with helpful staff...
Room feels big. It's quiet and clean. The location downtown is nice. I've never had many requirements for a hotel so overall this is everything I could ask for - helps that I'm here on business so am not paying out of pocket.
They recently renovated every room and now they are NICE. They're also pretty big. Fun decor, comfy bed, nice touches like USB ports along with wall outlets next to the bed. The shower is big, nice, and clean.
You can get a fair amount of street noise, trucks backing up, etc. But you're in the middle of downtown San Francisco so you have to kind of expect it.

Best area hotel, not your regular courtyard property. Well done, renovated, super well managed, rooms good size for downtown US city. Good lobby chill out space. Good pricing for that city. Location 10 minutes to virtually anything you need.

We stayed here during our visit to San Francisco. Located very near to Union Square. Many shopping options nearby. Restaurants are nearby. All the tour operators have stop near this hotel that’s added benefit.
We checked late night, got some issue with the shower door, we were immediately moved to a new room. We were upgraded to top floor from where we got nice city view.
Staff were welcoming and helpful...
I have to say the one gentleman at the concierge was very good. He often remembered our names which is an outstanding touch. Rooms were nothing special. Interior is a bit conservative and reminiscent of 80s style hotels
Had a one night stay here while in town for work and it was a wonderful hotel and experience from check in to check out. All the staff were very friendly and professional. The room was spacious and very clean, with nice amenities. Bed was also comfortable. I would recommend this hotel if you are in town for a couple of nights.
The room and bathroom was spacious. The staff were helpful. The rooms were clean daily.
The room was something out of the ordinary. The bathroom area had its own hallway that led to an open foyer with not one but two vanities , huge shower, private toilet and 2 large closets. Well designed no wasted space. Very appealing.
Enjoyed this hotel, the rooms were updated recently. We had the pleasure of staying in a two queen room which had plenty of space! The bathroom and shower was absolutely massive and had more space than we needed. You are next to Union Square so you are generously situated in a great shopping and restaurant area. I was happy being just a 5minute walk from halal guys!
I would stay here again!

Unfortunately, we were unable to stay here due to the clearance of our car (unrelated to club quarters- a SF parking garage issue). However, Brian was amazing and extremely helpful for the time we were there. If we could stay again without the parking debacle, we would. Thank you again to club quarters and Brian!
Excellent experience overall! Got into the city a bit sooner than expected, but Liz let us check-in early at no additional cost. Fantastic price point for staying in SF and great location. The hotel is very close to a Muni 1 Bus line, and has some good dining options nearby. Will definitely stay there again next time I’m in SF!
Loved the location. It's right close to chinatown but towards the safer part. It's close to most areas of the city so you are central to everything. The service was really good. They were quick to answer any questions and get us anything we needed. We were allowed an early check-in, and they held our luggage for us. The rooms were clean and quiet.
Had a solid time here - we arrived way too early (like 6 hours early) and were still able to get checked in for free. The location is amazing, the rooms are OK - you can read the other reviews about that. However, for the price this was phenomenal. Perfect for just crashing and sleeping while doing stuff throughout the day since it's so central. I'd come back and would recommend.
After a long drive from Mt Shasta, a busy Bay Bridge on a Saturday afternoon, we were pleasantly surprised and impressed by the quality of the room, especially being in the Financial District. The car park was literally around the corner too at a price of $37 per day, which is super cheap.

Staff where great and awesome location to explore San Francisco
Clean, stylish, and curteous hotel in the perfect location. Outstanding guest service from the front desk and housekeeping. Quiet at night in a safe and popular tourist area. Steps away from the pier and cable cars. Saw quite a few negative reviews regarding a "secret $30 fee". They are very upfront about the surcharge and it's fairly common in larger cities in my experience. It also allows for continental...
My husband and I love this hotel. It's clean, the staff is VERY Nice and helpful. It's within walking distance to Fisherman's Wharf and some other areas. Also they have a GREAT breakfast which is included in the resort fee you pay. This is a Must Stay place!!!
I stayed here three nights during a week long vacation. The price was excellent. The breakfast was very good along with the coffee selection in the am. The room was very nice and clean. The bed and pillows were perfectly comfortable. The barn door for the bathroom was a little annoying. Sometimes a regular door would be just fine!
Nice place to stay easy access to water front, attractions, transportation and shopping. Room is modern, stylish, comfortable, friendly staff and substantial breakfast freshly prepared. Only negative is the very poor room lighting, dimmer than a candle in a cave; be prepared to use your cellphone as a flash light.

Love Marriot! Wonderful experience from the minute the doorman open the door! Check in staff was friendly and very helpful. Ken in the bar is very personable and the service is great. The mattress and pillows were wonderful! Room was well cleaned.
Wonderful food and service
The room we stayed in was remodeled for a nice modern--but still very comfortable--interior. The shower was awesome and the bed was a dream. We had a great view of the bay and Coit Tower. I would definitely recommend the place for a night in the city that won't break the bank.
Great location. This Marriott is undergoing renovations in early 2018 and I was able to get in one of the newer rooms. It was an updated room with more modern touches for a Marriott. The breakfast at the lounge (for platinum holders) was well done. I enjoyed my stay.
The hotel is located in a convenient location to Union Square. There was plenty of shopping and other tourist stuff to do within walking distance. The rooms were comfortable. The one big negative was how long it took the valet to bring my car around. He said 15-20 minutes and it took at least 30 minutes.
Don't let the 70's exterior facade fool you - this place is as up to date as any hotel. The rooms and beds are comfortable and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The location is convenient and central, too. The views from the higher floors are pretty good, too.

Went to San Francisco to see a play and spend the night. Perfect location - less than a block away from the theater. The bed was so comfortable, the room was quiet, the price was fantastic. I've paid more for less. This is my new go-to place.
Great experience. Extremely comfortable bed. Were upgraded to mini suite. Breakfast was great, attentive staff. Perfect location. Was here 20 years ago and experience was even better now.
It's a fairly nice hotel, recently renovated, but the furniture and carpets could be cleaner. Several suspicious stains that just look like they could be fixed with an upholstery cleaner. I stayed in a fireplace suite on the top floor. It is a nice room but it faces an alley. The light is nice though and it is comfortable. Staff has been nice and the breakfast is pretty good. The furniture organization...
The Warwick was a great hotel for my short stay in San Francisco. The location was very convenient being just a few blocks away from Union Square and the Powell St. BART station. ? Typical small downtown hotel but the location is ideal as it’s close to everything. If your a suburbanite the area maybe a little “intimidating” but it’s not bad by any means. Staff was nice. This is the most luxurious hotel in the world! It was a flawless, sparkling environment. It is suitable for both large parties and dates. For me it was a wonderful place to heal. We've had a good time so far. You'll need a decent vantage point to see the entire area. You did an amazing job!
Very beautiful place, downtown San Francisco
Go to the View Bar on top floor and enjoy the view. Be ready for high prices on drinks though.
Cozy lobby full of books, welcome any time of day and night. Huge event spaces under ground and above.
Wow! I was extremely impressed by this hotel. It was very big and nice looking, the rooms were nice, I was particularly impressed by the bar on the 39th floor. The views from up there were spectacular. The hotel's location was also very nice and convenient. I would love to stay there again. This is the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in to this date.
Everything was really good. The only trouble we ran into was having to deal with a very large event that was going on during our stay. Well, at least it's clean – if you catch that thought upon checking to a hotel, it's a pretty bad sign. I've stayed here a few times. Staff is great, the rooms are hit and miss. If you get a water view room, they are quite lovely. If you get an inner room, they are much smaller and cramped. I had a room once where I couldn't hang a dress shirt and no desk(if you need to work.) Another that was spacious. As of 3/18, they are still going through an unadvertised remodel.

The hotel was very elegant. Staff always greet you outside to help you. They always have refreshing cool beverages, like lemonade, ice tea, fruit infused water, coffee, etc., waiting for you in the lobby. Very quiet and clean place. Excellent. Lots of little perks, friendly staff, clean rooms. We prefer staying at places with charm as opposed to big hotels and this was one of the best we've been to in SF.
Felt like this hotel had thought of everything. Fresh fruit on arrival, cookies before bed, wine reception, and wonderful breakfast were included.
Having almond milk available at breakfast was a particularly nice touch. Room was ready when I arrived early. Centrally located with easy access to all parts of town. Would definitely stay here again!
Great hotel in a great location! Front desk staff, especially Omar, is super friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay with this hotel again!
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was clean and the perfect size. There is lots of storage, mirrors and closet space making it great for a week long trip. The internet was solid and I enjoyed the breakfast!
Very comfortable and well located, staff sooooo nice and helpful, happy hour every day for guests (free !), we are in love with The Inn and will tell all our friends about it ! They also do little precious things like providing 2 bottles of water and chocolate everyday (free !), the products in the bathroom are very good quality, shampoo, rinse, moisturizer and soap bars.
We enjoyed very very much...

Spacious and comfortable room, great location in front of Union Square. We booked a queen room and got an upgrade to the king room for free!
Very good location and aspects of the service were good. The lobby area, whilst nice and floral, is confusing as to where the check in/out counters are. Enter from the main entrance and you'll realise there are two lines, which over the 4 nights I was there I saw caused lots of frustration with guests. Once at the desk, service was above average.
Rooms are ageing but otherwise clean and well maintained...
What an awesome hotel. Would give it a 10 if I could. THE place to stay in SF… worth every penny. Clean and staff is super friendly. The cafe has an excellent selection and very convenient if you have hote credits to spend.
Right in the centre of town so you expect to pay the big bucks (even if SFO is in a bit of a slump) but to be fair, it really is a great location. The hotel is super spacious it has a good energy; it's busy but in a joyous kinda way. The rooms are good and the staff were able to take care of everything I asked for. Sometimes the service was a little ropey, either slow or staff members appeared confused...
I had an Exceptional Experience thanks to the Excellent Customer Service provided by Elaine at the Front Desk! My room was extraordinary! It had a view of Union Square! It was so perfect that I didn't want to leave. I did though! I took the Trolley (Easy to get on right in Front of the Westin at the Corner) to Fisherman's Wharf, and the Train at Union Square to the Giants game! I definitely recommend...
Beautiful hotel with great service! We were in a junior suite on the union square side and it was absolutely gorgeous. The service was great and room service was fast. The cafe downstairs also serves delicious pasta (much to my surprise!) Definitely will be back. The pricing is comparable to the Hilton but this hotel is much much better in my opinion
