· The croissants were dry. I paid for breakfast directly at the hotel, there was no record of it. We sorted this out at the front desk and were embarrassedly turned away at the restaurant. It was sorted at the end. The room was quite warm
Great location. Easy access to a lot of places. Get a high floor for a view. Pool is on the 16th floor.
Strange problem - do not provide a Shuttle service to the airport. Otherwise all good, rather the opposite - very well, you feel like a Man!
Excellent property. They are very generous with upgrades for HHonors members, provide a wait free check-in with the digital key option, through the app, and were very attentive to my needs via text. What could be more convenient than that? It's also in a great location in the city, very close to car rental facilities, should you decide to drive to the coast or wine country. If you can find the means...
If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on here and they had the cheapest rates around... Great stay here a couple of weekends back. Check in was quick and easy. Rooms were great for our price. The hotel was close to everything. One tip would be to avoid the parking costs at the hotel and park across the street in one of the parking lots...
Great customer service. When I called for toothbrushor blanket, they deliver right away. The conference rooms are very nice. The only problem I had was the smell on the floor where the rooms are. When they clean, they left the private doors open where they keep all the cleaning supplies and used linens, and that smelled bad. Wish they could keep the doors closed. Everything else is great. Location...

This is the most luxurious hotel in the world! It was a flawless, sparkling environment. It is suitable for both large parties and dates. For me it was a wonderful place to heal. We've had a good time so far. You'll need a decent vantage point to see the entire area. You did an amazing job!
Cozy lobby full of books, welcome any time of day and night. Huge event spaces under ground and above.
Wow! I was extremely impressed by this hotel. It was very big and nice looking, the rooms were nice, I was particularly impressed by the bar on the 39th floor. The views from up there were spectacular. The hotel's location was also very nice and convenient. I would love to stay there again. This is the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in to this date.
Everything was really good. The only trouble we ran into was having to deal with a very large event that was going on during our stay. There should have been an employee helping guests with the elevators when the conferences got out. We literally waited 20-25 minutes for elevators once, while other waits we're averaging 10 minutes. One of six elevators for non-conference guests would have been ideal...
This is a decent hotel in a pretty decent location on mission street in downtown San Francisco. The staff is friendly and efficient. They support mobile checkin. The biggest problem with this hotel is they charge $74 for valet parking. They told me that was the market rate for parking in this area. But still hard to swallow. Normally I ask the rate in advance and make decisions accordingly but I...
The service is here is always excellent. They often email before and after the stay to check on if I need(ed) anything. On my last trip they knew it was recently my birthday and left me a card and chocolate in the room. It’s the little things! I’ve stayed here probably six times over the last two years for work. The hotel is huge. Enormous. Billions of rooms and multiple elevators to get you there...

Spacious and comfortable room, great location in front of Union Square. We booked a queen room and got an upgrade to the king room for free!
Very good location and aspects of the service were good. The lobby area, whilst nice and floral, is confusing as to where the check in/out counters are. Enter from the main entrance and you'll realise there are two lines, which over the 4 nights I was there I saw caused lots of frustration with guests. Once at the desk, service was above average. Rooms are ageing but otherwise clean and well maintained...
What an awesome hotel. Would give it a 10 if I could. THE place to stay in SF… worth every penny. Clean and staff is super friendly. The cafe has an excellent selection and very convenient if you have hote credits to spend.
Right in the centre of town so you expect to pay the big bucks (even if SFO is in a bit of a slump) but to be fair, it really is a great location. The hotel is super spacious it has a good energy; it's busy but in a joyous kinda way. The rooms are good and the staff were able to take care of everything I asked for. Sometimes the service was a little ropey, either slow or staff members appeared confused...
I had an Exceptional Experience thanks to the Excellent Customer Service provided by Elaine at the Front Desk! My room was extraordinary! It had a view of Union Square! It was so perfect that I didn't want to leave. I did though! I took the Trolley (Easy to get on right in Front of the Westin at the Corner) to Fisherman's Wharf, and the Train at Union Square to the Giants game! I definitely recommend...
Beautiful hotel with great service! We were in a junior suite on the union square side and it was absolutely gorgeous. The service was great and room service was fast. The cafe downstairs also serves delicious pasta (much to my surprise!) Definitely will be back. The pricing is comparable to the Hilton but this hotel is much much better in my opinion

Hilton Parc 55 San Francisco Union Square, San Francisco1 / 36
San Francisco, 55 Cyril Magnin Street 🧭 Map
The hotel was nice. It’s in the heart of a lot of things to do and places to eat. I would say be careful at night time. Jonah was very welcoming and helpful on arrival. He’s very professional and has a warming personality. Breakfast was overrated and pricey. Cons: There is no microwave in rooms or lobby to use. The guide channel line up seems to be all wrong so you really don’t know what you are watching...
Parc 55 is a very standard hotel that just needs an update. The rooms are quite dated; you can tell the beds are old, as well as all the furniture and bathroom fixtures. It was unbelievable dusty in our room and the air circulation was very poor. A fantastic value in a not-so-great location, but close enough to walk to nearby attractions, and it's certainly easy to catch an Uber anywhere else in the...
I came to San Francisco to have a small vacation. The customer service has been outstanding, before I checked in through leaving. I asked if there was a chance of getting in early and they were able to accommodate. Kassandra was wonderful as was all of the others. I asked to have a microwave put in the room and that was done. The room was very clean and comfortable. The neighborhood has homeless as...
Great staff and quick communication, they were so accommodating during my stay with any request or work needs (my company hosted an event here). Very comfortable rooms and beds. Location is easy to get around on public transportation - it is only a block or two from a seedier area so there's a lot of late night street noise and unhoused population and drug use, but the hotel itself felt very safe....
Just off of Star Ratings it's a 5. They do a great job ensuring it is a safe welcoming environment. We stayed for 3 days and had a chance to go to Club55, good drinks. The hotel is clean, rooms are clean and spacious. A little on the older side make sure you bring a plug in charger they don't have USB ports. The surrounding of the hotel is City Center, expect high levels of homelessness and Police...
Went to the restaurant Kin Khao. Had about a 15 minute wait. Food was very good, and also loved the drinks. We were seated at the bar. Bartender and servers were really nice. Seems like menu rotates. Worth a try!

We recently came back from a wonderful stay at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco and enjoyed every moment of it. Agnes and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay extra special for our engagement! We enjoyed the location of the hotel and it's proximity to the ferry building, food, and transportation/BART. Food on site was great and the hotel room was very clean. I would stay here again and recommend...
Love the location and atmosphere. The room was clean and had amenities. Bell man was and valet parking personnel were very attentive and professional. The front desk not only checked me in but also recommended some restaurants around the area and were good. A cafeteria is located in the lobby area. 100 % recommended.
Beautiful hotel. The atrium/lobby is extremely impressive and made riding the glass elevators very fun. Rooms were updated and very comfortable. We had a King Bay View and had a great view out of the windows. Very close to transit as well to help get around the city. Highly recommend staying here.
I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco and had a great experience. The hotel is beautifully located with stunning views of the bay and city, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Alan at the reception deserves special mention - he went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. He was incredibly helpful in arranging the requested room and organising all the extra options I...
Lovely hotel! The newly renovated room was really nice and modern. The top floor rotating club was incredible. We spent hours in there enjoying the view and the food. The feelings just hit different when you get to watch the city waking up beneath you bathed in morning sunshine while you have warm delicious breakfast buffet. I can't wait to stay here again in the coming months when SF gets warmer....
Personally, I wouldn't pay the extra for the Regency Club. The view up there was amazing but the food was not on par with what you would expect IMO. For the area, for the price...a solid 4. The room is a little dated but not horrid by any means. Super friendly and helpful staff. Balcony room has a nice patio area for 2. Very pleased with the stay. Would most certainly come back.

Great location and lovely hotel. Convenient to assess to main attractions like union square, market street, cable car, Chinatown. Room has great view over the Bay and make sure you get a room at 20 something floors to get a beautiful view. Go to 36 floors to see a better view of the costume and Bay. Room is clean except no daily water is provided. The level 2 lounge is great with reasonable price and...
Pretty standard upscale hotel in the heart of San Francisco's business district. Rooms are nicely spacious for the area. It's about what you'd expect of a Hyatt. The fitness center is compact, but not really what I'd call small. The location is handy for all the offices and convention hotels nearby. It's not quite as good for tourists, but BART is nearby.
Liked it. Very comfy rooms. The bathroom is equipped with the biggest sink I have ever seen. If you have a small child they can take a bath in it. You can stream Netflix etc to your TV. Close to Chinatown. McDonald's is next door for breakfast. Free bottled water from reception.
Nice hotel, with a great morning view. Make sure you not getting a room next to cleaners door, cause they start walking back and forth at around 7am and it becomes really noisy. Mine was 2312 and it was not great. Other than that, good hotel!
Really nice stay! I had a beautiful view of the bay. The room was nice and the bed exceptional. I was at a meeting in the top floor and the scenery and view of the bay was superb. We were lucky and it was clear, and you could see Angel Island, Berkeley, and Alcatraz.
An excellent hotel located in the heart of downtown San Francisco. Within walking distance to the BART and Muni - and a mere matter of steps from Union Square. Rooms are spacious with sweeping views of the city or bay. The rooms are quiet at night and service is of the highest quality. A highly recommend stay.

I love it here. The location is wonderful, nothing beats creating Nob Hill to arrive at your hotel. I love hotels with history and this place has it in spades. If you’re looking for the best in contemporary hotel room design, go somewhere else. But I reckon that’s not why you’re here. The rooms are spacious and the views from the tower are exceptional.
My family and I stayed here for 5 nights on our way home from a months holiday abroad. We were looking forward to the luxury and comfort. Unfortunately, our stay didn't start well with the front desk giving away our adjoining room to another guest. The hotel was very honest with the mistake and took it seriously to fix the error and make sure that we were placed in a different set of rooms and even...
I had no idea there were hotels with such incredible views! I am literally planning my next trip already because I want to just relax in the room and take photos for days! The hotel is beautiful and very well maintained and rich with history. We stayed for an event at Grace Cathedral and it was a lovely short stroll over and back.
Wow!! We travel often and try our best to pick luxurious hotels at a family-friendly rate. This place was AMAZING!! Wish we would remember every staff member’s names that helped us but Emmanuel did stand out at check in. He was kind, helpful and quick! Gave us an extremely helpful recommendation to get a last minute reservation at the Tonga restaurant inside (MUST DO WITH KIDS) and we got in on a Saturday...
One of the most amazing hotels I have ever stayed in. We spent four nights here and were fortunate enough to enjoy their buffet breakfast, which was outstanding ( it was only available during holidays). The hotel's location was convenient for everywhere we needed to go. Parking right in front of the hotel is available at a much cheaper rate (no need to navigate hills, just across the park). I went there for the Tonga room and the Christmas decorations. The ginger bread house is amazing. I love the decor great photo opportunity with the family. The Tonga room drinks were super awesome. Loved it.

The rooms are great! The service is top notch. Atarah helped me check in, waited patiently while I dealt with card fraud protection. Recommended amazing places to eat. I am coming back for how great the service is here!
Great food, and amazing service. Our server was incredibly attentive, and friendly, which made for a fantastic dinner experience. The food was also amazing. The poached duck Brest was the best duck I've ever had, no doubt I'd highly recommend this place, either for special occasions, or for a casual romantic dinner with your better half.
Although this hotel is relatively new (2008), the rooms and hallways already look very dated. Another guest was there when we checked into our room, and they offered free breakfast as an apology
Nice and clean hotel which is expected for the rate; however, couple things need to be addressed: 1) I am quite capable of getting my own luggage from the room. When I went to get the luggage cart, a valet guy stood in front of me like he was playing daddy and told me I couldn’t use it. Don’t force customers to use valet for luggage if they don’t want to. It’s a money grab forcing one to tip more....

Stayed here many many times, always great! However this time there was a strike going on, very loud outside, and in the room early in the morning. But the hotel is lovely, historic and smells amazing inside! They have a lovely indoor pool too! Hopefully the staff on strike will recieve what they need and all can go back to normal. You definitely noticed the regular staff was not there!
Really really great experience at Palace Hotel. The service was amazing, the rooms were clean and room service provides dental kits, shaving kits, slippers at request, all high quality. There was a happy hour everyday from 4-7pm and they had free drinks and charcuterie. The pool and gym were clean and in good condition too. Only downside was the hot tub was pretty tepid and not really hot.
We stayed here 3 nights, during a labor strike. The strikers start at 7am sharp and go until 10pm, not just chanting but drums, whistles, and horns, continuously. I do want to extend kudos to the staff that was working, they did a great job considering the circumstances. But that aside, the rooms and building were very nice and clean, well kept. The large Christmas tree in the lounge was beautiful...
We recently stayed at the Palace Hotel during a challenging time when staff were on strike. The main entrance was hectic because striking employees used loud instruments and made raucous noises upon our arrival. During our three-night stay, housekeeping services were limited, and fresh towels were delivered early evening. Dining options on-site were restricted to a single venue, and there was no room...
I've been to the Palace twice now and I won't stay anywhere else! It is extremely well located to public transit, and the staff are incredible. I will share that my most recent visit was during the Palace staff's union strike. The management and those noble enough to continue working went way above and beyond. They even left me a kind note! I was genuinely impressed with how on top of things they were...

It’s OK. The outside of the windows are dirty and a floor lamp did not work. I payed to have breakfast included and it was a very nice experience with good service. The room was a little extra for the wonderful views.
I really just popped in for an evening so I can't speak to any of the amenities or services or anything like that, but generally it was a pleasant experience. Room was clean but the building definitely felt a little bit dated. I booked a room in the 21st floor and it was as expected, though a bit on the smaller side for two people. I liked the Peter Thomas Roth toiletries. I was notified earlier in...
Hotel was in a great location and a good value. The rooms were clean but no frills. The view was awesome but the windows were so dirty I couldn't see out very well. The elevator always seemed to be busy and I often waited several minutes for a ride. Overall it was a decent stay and I would recommend staying here.
A bit outdated, but very swanky. They have a restaurant and a couple of bars in the lobby, and offer room service. Close to Chinatown (across the street!). Also close to Little Italy and the business district. We had a good size room and bathroom, with an excellent bay view. Thank you Marina for the good service.
Comfortable rooms. Building looks ugly from outside but it has good view. No microwave and fridge available. All tourist spots are reachable . Big bus and other hop on and hop off buses stops here. Staff is friendly and helpful. Note : no lock for bathroom. Sliding door is given. Just in case you are sharing room with friend , you need to set some rules :)
Excellent hotel. Comfy beds, nice rooms, extra amenities were nice. Beautiful location. Had input to the TV for computers, which was very convenient. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Fantastic stay!

It's all about the great location and this hotel has it. The rooms and halls are pretty basic and parking in the ramp was expensive, but being able to leave your car in a spot all day not having to worry about paying several times and trying to find spots to park all over, let alone towing, was worth it. The fisherman's pier is just a few blocks away. If you like to explore the city on your feet...

Really nice hotel in a perfect location near the wharf area. Staff is friendly and the rooms are nice. The only issue is having to walk through a cloud of cigarette and cigar smoke when you enter and leave the hotel. They have a huge and lovely sitting area where they allow smoking making it unusable for non-smokers and obnoxious as you enter and leave. Quite surprising for a California hotel which...
Very nice hotel. Walking distance from Pier 39. We had a great room and an awesome experience. Super friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again. Only down side is the parking but that's San Francisco for you. At least the staff gave me some advice for cheaper parking across the street at safway.
I would have given it 5 stars but the parking was an absurd $70 night. That's just a ripoff. Go across the street or down the street in its $30 night. The location is excellent. It's directly across the street from fisherman's wharf. Rooms are very nice. I have seen complaints about the bedding but we thought the bed was very comfortable. There is a fair amount of construction/remodel going on but...
The gentleman that checked me in (Tommy) was excellent. Helpful, friendly and very professional. He took care of me quickly and efficiently even though I had some questions. Hotel is good, room was surprisingly small. Two beds in that room was very "cozy" but not in a good way. Grounds to be well kept, clean. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel
The breakfast buffet was fantastic. It’s the only one I’ve heard of in San Francisco. The hotel itself was also very nice and location is great.

This hotel is worth every penny you spend on a room and experiences you have while staying at this property! Worth it, so do it!!
Hotel Nikko is a 4 star hotel that deserves all of the stars it got. The staff was very accommodating, the breakfast buffet spread was impressive, and the room was clean and modern in its layout. It also has an heated indoor pool that offers respite to the cold San Francisco weather. I would definitely go back to Hotel Nikko.
Great hotel, very clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Keep in mind that hotel loading/unloading is located on 180 Ellis. Google maps took me to another entrance, that did not have a loading/unloading zone
Very pleasant stay. Room was immaculate, comfortable, and gorgeous. The restaurant and bar were stellar. The staff was helpful and friendly. I couldn't recommend Hotel Nikko more and I look forward to returning in future.
We had a spectacular and relaxing stay. Room was extremely spacious and beautifully appointed. Bathtub is extra deep for soaking. Great hotel! Went here back in March of 2024, and it was one of the best hotels I've been to so far. The hotel was fairly big and the views from the rooms were so beautiful! They also had a store at the lobby with a variety of items to buy. I would definitely come back to this hotel when I go back to San Francisco with my family. Overall, this hotel was very great!! 👍🔥🔥💯💯💯
We stayed here for 2 nights. Room was spacious and clean. We were on a higher floor and had a beautiful view of the city. Front desk were friendly. We had a problem with our parking ticket to exit and they promptly helped us to resolve the issue. It’s a great location with many restaurants within a short walk and a cable car stop just around the corner. We will stay here again.
Excellent service, location, and view. I liked having a workout area. Water refill station. Pool nice . Are rental car felt safe in the parking garage. It was easy to get in and out with ticket. Staff very friendly towards all guests. Elevators very secure.
For where the hotel is situated there is not much bad to say. Your right off a cable car stop, a whole foods, and a Starbucks. So if your a business traveler it has the necessity in a quick walk. Best thing is the beds are firm and provide a solid night sleep. Staff was nice and I had no issues. Rooms were clean. A great stay.
I have been coming to this particular Holiday Inn since 1998. It has always and yes nearly 24 years after my first stay it has been the best value for the dollar visit in SF. The views are more breath taking the higher up the hotel you stay. I love this place. Aweesome staff, the new layout is more sophisticated and more open than it was previously. Also security is exceptional.

Rooms are standard Marriott level of cleanliness and modern aesthetic, but the doors to the bathrooms are heavy doors that automatically close loudly. I usually stay at the Marriott Marquis, and I don't think I'll be staying at the Union Square location again.
It's a nice clean, secure hotel, located in San Fran. Short walk to the piers, ferry building, China Town, Union square Park and more. The restaurant serves quality food. The staff is always accommodating and the rooms are nice, the beds sleep well. The downside is the daily destination fee of $30. Seems to be obscene Marriott thing they tack on whether in town for business or pleasure. It can be...
I'll start on the positive side: room is perfect - king size bed, clean, lots of space including a large working station. the view is amazing, and the location is pretty nice as you can walk around to most attractions. lobby receiptionists were really friendly and helpful, and I was really satisfied. now the negative side: breakfast was completely disgusting. I didn't know one could mess up a simple...
I've been staying at this hotel for years and I wouldn't stay anywhere else. Rooms are great (I took off one star because the AC was unusually loud), location is terrific and the staff is wonderful. Front desk is welcoming and warm and Maria in the club lounge is the loveliest. She seems to recognize just about everyone who stops in and stops what she's doing to welcome them in.
Love Marriot! Wonderful experience from the minute the doorman open the door! Check in staff was friendly and very helpful. Ken in the bar is very personable and the service is great. The mattress and pillows were wonderful! Room was well cleaned.
The room we stayed in was remodeled for a nice modern--but still very comfortable--interior. The shower was awesome and the bed was a dream. We had a great view of the bay and Coit Tower. I would definitely recommend the place for a night in the city that won't break the bank.

The staff is awesome. My room was a disappointment. Paid for suite. Got a "large" room with multiple sofas. Tub only no separate shower. Marriott is better.
It's the Ritz, so you can expect it to be beautiful. I really want to call Rita at the front desk. Absolutely amazing customer service and made my kids feel like superstars!
One of the best hotels in California, really enjoyed the stay and the staff is very friendly and willing to help with every little thing you might have q's with. The bar, pool and gym are updated and very clean. You definitely need to love this place.
I went to Ritz for a wedding. The ceremony took place in the courtyard and the reception in a big event room. Everything was beautiful. Great organization, beautiful rooms and everything was very accessible even for parents with strollers.
Beautiful property very close to Chinatown. Very easy to miss since on the outside it looks like many of the other buildings. Once you get inside tho its breathtakingly beautiful.
Elegant hotel but I expected more classiness. Check-in experience a bit lacking. Our room was spacious and comfortable but not spectacular. Bathroom big and well maintained. Ordered breakfast up to the room - was good but not great. Nothing really wrong but I expected more.

No continental food, It's by each order. Room is spacious, comfortable, but there is no central control for light . It's generally a very nice hotel, but need little bit tech upgrade.
We just spent three days here on the first leg of a family vacation and I must say we are impressed. From the moment we arrived the staff were exemplary. Every request was met with professionalism and courtesy. From the counter to the valet five star service. Spacious rooms and excellent location we recommend. We would like to extend a special thanks to Albert for his professionalism and kindness...
The overall experience at the Clift was great. Staff were friendly, pretty good lobby bar, great location, clean room, etc. There were only 2 things that stopped me from giving this a 5 star. 1) The bathrooms are old and dated. 2) The walls in the bedrooms are very thin. I could here the conversation in the next room. (Side note to the guy in room 427, if your girlfriend moved out and told you she...
Absolutely amazing! I loved the entire atmosphere! The hotel looks to be built on the 1960s based on the exterior and room design, however, the lobby and rooms are decorated in an eccentric yet classy style. The rewood room is incredibly gorgeous and a great lounge. The staff were extremely courteous and helped with all my needs. 10/10 would stay again!
Beautiful hotel, we stayed for a few nights before our wedding (even though we are San Francisco locals) and it was a beautiful experience. The staff were so nice and thoughtful, the suite was large and spacious, an extremely comfortable bed and a dink g area big enough it have the family around for a meals to celebrate together. The staff are very attentive and the hotel feels very secure. The Redwood...
This is a very central location near enough to Embarcadero, and for its location, you will find not even a close match in value for the spaciousness of the rooms here. The Clift is a boutique hotel which has a lovely selection of bars and dining options. It’s not a big hotel, but the furnishings are tasteful and classy. Only downside was that there is no central control for the lighting in the rooms...

He's extremely talented and sweet, and on our anniversary, he even gave us a free late check-out! The hotel was in a good place, had a large number of rooms, and had very comfortable bedding. Our concierge, particularly the person who checked us in, was fantastic. The halls were spotless and silent. I'm sure we'll come back the next time. This hotel has received a lot of positive reviews.
I have been a guest at The Whitcomb hotel since the on set of covid-19. This hotel is closed to the public so my review will not encompass services. I instead would like to address the ghost in The Whitcomb Hotel rumors. Are there ghosts in The Whitcomb Hotel? There are indeed Spirit Souls here in the Whitcomb Hotel. I'm certain they are everywhere in the hotel I see them regularly walking through...
We stayed here December of 2019. The Hotel was Clean and tidy. Staff was friendly. The Hotel is older, and out of Date. It’s situated in a good area, for tourist. Within walking distance to union square. And on the big red bus tour rout. The room was clean, the bathroom was very dated. The cost was very affordable for this time of year in comparison To other Hotel in the Area.
My family truly adores this amazing place. A good place to chill with family and relax. Trust me! You will never be disappointed for sure! They strive to provide us the best service that exceeds our expectations. We need to come back because it's a good one. A five-stars satisfaction rating all the way for this hotel. Nice!
Beautiful building. Great location. Super nice staff. Fabulous pricing. I loved my little one person room. Definitely recommend Hotel Whitcomb.
Charming but outdated hotel. The style and decoration are classic, but it lacks upkeep. The walls, doors, carpets, are visibly worn out. The rooms are not huge, but they are OK for a hotel built in a repurposed old building, in the middle of the city (reminded me of hotels I've stayed in Manhattan - if land space is limited, don't expect a room as big as a soccer field). If you are not going to spend...
