The newly renovated Hilton Santa Cruz/Scotts Valley hotel is centrally located in the South San Francisco Bay Area, between Silicon Valley and Monterey Bay.

The hotel is only four miles from scenic Highway 1, just 10 minutes away from beaches and the famous Santa Cruz Boardwalk, 30 minutes from San Jose International Airport, one hour from Monterey/Carmel and just over an hour from San Francisco.

Our 155 newly renovated modern and spacious guest rooms and 19 suites feature separate living and dining areas and upgraded amenities. The view was nice. The room however stunk like greasy fried shrimp that hovered in the air. Turned in the AC with the door open to dissipate the odor. Slept all night with the slider open as the smell was overwhelming. Attempted to change rooms but it was too much with 95 year old. Brought to hotels attention first night and they sent housekeeping with spray bottle. Didn’t last. Hotel needs to compensate for at least 1 night. Thx

Nice hotel to stay when visiting Santa Cruz area. The hotel is conveniently located close to freeway, it is easy to get to town. The hotel has an outdoor heated pool and hot tub. The room is spacious and clean. Highly recommended and will definitely go back to stay there again for future visits.

Pull out sofa not suitable for adults. ******* or Hilton would not be flexible on breakfast vouchers. We paid for a suite with our 2 kids but nobody could help us get 2 more breakfasts. Especially as ******* had one price for this.

It was a beautiful facility friendly staff from reception to whomever restocks the pool towels however I didn't know I had to pay for parking other than that it was lovely no one overstepped it was truly wonderful

Where do I start! Arrived to be offered a room early for 40 extra then later different worker said she never heard of that then waiting from 130 to 4 to get a room when many others were getting checked in to balcony rooms ? Then room moldy smelling beds not comfy had to sleep on top with clothes on, then fire alarm off at 445 am all guests in sleepwear parking lot no one from staff or hotel said nothing if it was safe yet . Left with our suitcase and clothes only to return from a tiring day no sleep to a room that was not made no supplies no towels asked the desk Demetey said if u don’t tell us that on ck in we don’t come wow! No one said a word so here the staff here don’t care at all but more into friends ignoring guests but I will say only one girl should be recognized as polite and truly trying to help her name is URIEL she should be manager she stayed calm and got us towels and water tried to help while cemetery was less than helpful , sad to see Hilton hotel this shabby , with bribes dirty rooms rude front desk men and no staff to help in emergency fire alarms very disappointed to hear manager on vacation in Texas maybe he should get a hold of this mouldy place before more people catch on and spend there money elsewhere

The environment and buildings are beautiful. There is no free drinking water in the room. Hot milk in breakfast is also charged extra.

I booked this Hilton hotel for 2days, 1night trip to visit Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and the Mysterious Spot. The hotel was located within an accessible travel distance to the two attractions. I booked a room with two double beds. The room was clean, and newly renovated. Parking fee was USD10. There was an extra fee for in-room WiFi. The heated outdoor swimming pool was a bit small and crowded in the afternoon. The pool water was not clean, with leaves, bugs and human hairs. If I visit Santa Cruz again, I will try other hotels in the area.
