Everything you need
My first time at a Yotel, but hopefully not my last. Loved the room, which had everything I needed, the downtown location, and the facility.

Absolutely loved everything about YOTEL SF - extremely neat and clean, the rooms while small are functional and great if you’re solo travelling or are here for work. The quality of bed linen, towels, and cosmetics provided deserve a special mention. The staff is super helpful. What’s unique about YOTEL is the co-working space within the hotel - super convenient.

To be fair, it's worth the price. I went out alone and stayed in San Francisco for four days and three nights. This place is definitely cost-effective. The service environment and facilities are all three-star standards. The only bad thing is that the laundry service is too expensive. It cost me more than 30 dollars to wash three short-sleeved shirts and one pair of shorts. It may be because I am abroad. I didn't understand some air conditioners, hot water, and ventilation fans at first. I just turned them a little more and adjusted them... I lived in a single room and forgot to take pictures hhhhh

This may be the case in all of San Francisco, but there are many suspicious people hanging out around the hotel, which is a little scary.

On the first night of my stay, I found that there were homeless people downstairs, and people were drinking and making noise all night, so I couldn't sleep at all. After complaining to Ctrip, although I changed the room, I changed to a smaller room, directly facing the elevator, and suffered from insomnia again. I have stayed in the worst hotel in Ctrip! The location is in the urban area, but near the rescue station, there are a bunch of homeless people. It's very close to downtown, but it's a bit scary to go out.

The hotel was remodeled recently and it looks nice. However my only concern is the location. It is next to the homeless area. Also they charge me for other fees that I was not expecting.

Hotel and staff were wonderful. The rooftop bar is a great place to have drinks at night to see the city lit up. The room and the decor were super nice for a small room. The huge huge drawback is the hundreds of homeless that congregate outside. My guess is COVID made it much worse. While no one bothers you while you are walking around, it seems at least 60% of the stores and restaurants in the vicinity were closed. The hotel restaurant was good but super pricey. $30 for breakfast per person for eggs is nuts.
