Harbor 360 Hotel Seward, Seward1 / 8

Seward, 1412 4th Avenue 🧭 Map
We took the 7 1/2 hour boat tour on the hotel’s affiliate Spirit of Adventure. Weather didn’t cooperate — rained all day and water was a little rough for many of the passengers. Saw some wildlife (close-up of 2 Orcas, a few dolphins, many seals and Puffins). Boat staff was helpful and knowledgeable. Good lunch. Brownies for dessert were very good and the staff back at the hotel was able to secure some...
Conveniently located right on the harbor. The Major Marine Boat Tours office is located in the lobby, so that’s as far as we got. The staff seemed nice and there is ample parking just across the street. Beautiful views from the docks behind the hotel.
Harbor 360 was my favorite hotel during our trip to Alaska. It was right next to the train depot and small boat harbor so very convenient for the activities we had planned. We had a mountain-side view, but it was still lovely - just not as lovely as that wonderful harbor. The breakfast buffet was superb, plentiful, and hot. It was convenient to have the harbor tour desk right in the front lobby and...
Feels like a motel and is priced as a luxury hotel. Simple rooms, busy, very small waiting area. Good location for boat tours and across from the train station. Close to a couple of restaurants but far from downtown Seaward, aprox 1.5 miles. You can check in your luggage at the reception in the morning for the train ride in the evening to Anchorage. Have the whole day without worrying about your language...
I recently had the privilege of staying at the Harbor 360 Hotel in Seward, Alaska, and I cannot sing its praises enough. From the second I walked in, I was greeted by the most incredible views of the harbor right from my room. The scenery was utterly breathtaking, as I watched boats gently sway against the backdrop of picturesque mountains. The staff at Harbor 360 Hotel was extremely friendly and...
Absolutely loved this hotel. Great view of the harbor and mountains in the background. Wonderful shower and great room overall. We are on our honeymoon, and it is the best hotel we have stayed in so far while visiting Alaska. The breakfast was good too!

good location. Pick up at train station. good breakfast. and very traditional wild animals decoration looks like a museum.
The hotel has a lot of character, with floral wallpapers and taxidermy; shared bathrooms and sinks in the bedrooms, like the old times. Walls are pretty thin, so you can hear a lot of the hall noise.

Location wise good. The customer service was good. It's pretty smelly in the rooms cuz all the cigarette smoke wafts in from the guests. They're somewhat pet friendly. Don't use a booking service book direct. What really set this place a part was the front desk worked with me to rebook and get my charge cleared when a 3rd party booking service messed up my pet reservation. I don't know if I'd go back...
This is a motel not a Hilton. Keep expectations in check. But the rooms were a good value, clean enough. Yeah its older but you'll be fine. It's bar/ lounge has great food and reasonabledrink prices. Friendly people. Locals hang out at this bar. Front desk check in is good. Location is great. Shops, tour locations, food, gas station, harbor boardwalk, cruise tour ships, gift shops are within a...
The room was comfortable and clean with a few exceptions. The pillows are very soft and there aren't a lot of them. The front desk wasn't able to get us more pillows. The beds are on the firm side, as well, which wasn't an issue for me, but definitely a consideration. The service was great. If you're traveling on the train, you can check your bags directly to the hotel. We got in 4 hours before check...
Booked for 2 nights with the family, but ended up checking out in 1 day as the room (double beds) was small. Upon entering the room, there was an odd smell, which we had to diffuse using air freshener (purchased at Safeway) The carpet didn't feel clean. The toilet was leaving They had a fan which served dual purpose 1) noisemaker 2) fresh air The location is decent as we could walk to the Subway and...
The lobby is warm and welcoming and all the staff are very kind and helpful. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious and inviting. Rooms may have a fridge but I don’t think there is a microwave.
I have stayed here twice in the last month and was well pleased on both occasions. Both the room with king size bed and the queen were clean and quiet. At the beginning of winter prices for me are very affordable. Front desk has been very friendly and helpful. Close access to bar/restaurant and the waterfront. Will be back for sure.

We were so fortunate to have our stay in Seward be at the Bell in the Woods. The house was super clean and our room felt like home - wonderful bed and bath. The breakfasts were amazing as Yana is a fabulous chef. It was close to downtown Seward, too. We'd definitely recommend this to others and promise a wow and delight experience!
Host was very responsive and the B&B was so cute and cozy! Great for couples and families. The check in process was easy and seamless, each room has an electronic keypad lock so you can come and go as you please. The rooms have in floor heating and a jetted tub. Breakfast was served in the community dining area and featured three courses with a fruit smoothie, baked jalapeño egg scramble, and fruit...
I would recommend this amazing B&B to anyone and everyone! We stayed in the larger suite (4 of us) which was well appointed and very comfortable. Breakfasts were hands down AMAZING! Made fresh each morning, true bed and breakfast style puts you at a table with strangers who quickly become lovely acquaintances that you can swap Alaska stories with!
I stayed here with my fiance after a long day of sea kayaking in Seward. Yana's place was the perfect spot to unwind after a full day of adventure. She makes an incredible breakfast and had homemade baked goods available all day. Totally recommend Bell in the Woods!
Beautiful home in a great location. Very welcoming atmosphere and touches of luxury in the rooms. Breakfast was delicious and the hosts and staff were friendly and welcoming.
Amazing service! Gourmet breakfasts were amazing and absolutely gorgeous! Spotlessly clean and better than I ever would have dreamed!! Loved Brooke and Nick, and everyone was very nice.

Most amazingly magical place I've ever stayed. I can't say enough great things about this place. Very relaxing, comfortable, tremendous views, exceptional customer service. We can't wait to go back! Love, love, love this place! ♥️
Orca island is magical and we feel lucky to have been able to experience it, we truly enjoyed our time there. We stayed 2 nights and were able to kayak and do the WWII bunker hike. We sat around the fire at night and watched the sunsets with fellow travelers. We mostly wore tennis shoes and hiking boots for the activities and lots of layers. It can be windy so it was nice to have a hat. We purchased...
I have never experienced a place like Orca Island. We ended our honeymoon with a two night stay here and what a way to end! We hiked to the old world War II bunker that had all of the views, enjoyed every observation deck and all of the kayaking. It was such a great experience !
Orca Island is absolutely phenomenal! This family owned business was the highlight of our trip. From the moment we arrived at the dock, we felt welcomed. They created an atmosphere amongst guests which felt inviting and light hearted. We ended up spending the evening around a fire on the rocks with all the guests visiting the island, laughing, meeting new individuals, and making an unforgettable memory...

Amazing, comfortable, has everything you need and awesome people! The front desk lady is super kind, they're very helpful and the place feels like home!
We stayed here for a couple nights and it was good. Frankly, most of the rooms do not have a view of the harbor due to other buildings that have been built in the way, but it wasn't a big deal to us. Coffee is provided, but no food. The room had a bit of a strange odor, but we didn't notice it after a while and the room appeared clean. We loved the location. We walked to our boat tour and a restaurant...
Location is great for price. Surprisingly quiet rooms and location. Actually had a microwave, which is a low bar but some places in Seward don't have. Based on mailmen, they do update appliances. They have outlets that work. Their remotes work. There lighting could be brighter and the toilets could be higher, but everything else makes sense. I liked there was windows on two different walls. No glaring...
Had a fantastic stay here during our trip to Seward. Mary was super helpful when our excursion got cancelled and we needed to stay extra days. The location is great, walkable to both downtown and the harbor. Would definitely recommend checking out Woody's Thai across the street if you stay here!
Mary at the front desk is awesome. She remembers me year to year. Rooms are nice soft beds. Walking distance pretty much anything in Seward because all of Seward is a walking distance to each other. Nothing to complain about and nicer than other places in Seward that would cost double.
1. The receptionist lady was very friendly, even recommending where to eat and where to shop and etc. 2. Room was clean and tidy. 3. Bathroom was very clean, it even reminds me of bathroom in hotels in Japan. 4. Microwave provided in the room. 5. Check in time up to 22.00 6. “Drop the key” check out is available. 7. Walking distance to downtown Seward or the port.

Very friendly, personal and comfortable with everything you need. Close to the Marine Wildlife Center, but a bit far away (to far to walk, especially when it is raining) from the cruise terminal and for the starting point of Kenai Fjord Tours. If you have a car, the perfect place to be. :-) I can highly recommend Trailhead Lodging- Seward.
It was back n the day I spent time there , LOVED IT... right now I have periodically been fishing parts of Kenai Lake and Trail River campground's exploring new woods and revisiting places of old trips.
Good place to stay in Seward. Coffee is very good. Suggestion: I think it is saver not to post publicly (the notice at room door and the place near laundry facility) that the room key code is the last 4 digits of your phone numbers. Simply communicate that to the guests privately in emails or texts.
It’s a very nice and comfy stay in Seward, I arrived very late around 1:00am, however, the sky is like at dusk. Check-in was easy, the owner allows you to use your booking phone number’s last four digits for entry combo. The room has lots of electrical outlets, and it suits me well as I had to charge batteries for 2 phones, 1 SLR camera and 1 drone, and to use the computer to download all photos and...
This is such a charming lodge close to main attractions. The city offers free shuttle and the lodge is close to the shuttle stop which makes it super convenient. The place is clean and cozy. The check in process is super easy, without a hassle. If you are looking for something comfortable without the feeling of a hotel, this is the perfect place. It made us feel a bit of Alaskan.
It was nice enough. Room was clean. Shower was strong. There was no climate control thermostat in the room. It was a little cool at first and being able to adjust the temperature would have been great. There weren't even any vents in the room. Not sure how climate control is achieved. There was also a note about not smoking anything within 500' of the building or get fined $500 which seemed extreme...

Location and DIY breakfast communal space and facilities. The checkin process was clear and simple too.
Sea Treasure's inn is a great place to stay. Very clean, very quiet. Loved the kitchen area. The view from the deck is priceless. Walking distance to Sewards main street and the water front parks. We give it 5 stars
It is delightful! There is a shared kitchen with oven/stove, full sized coffee maker and creamer, microwave. A refrigerator in the room. Bathroom is beautiful with shampoo. Absolutely wonderful!
This place is okay. The reason it got a 3 star is because it was very clean. The walls are very thin, we heard snoring upstairs and down. You are tucked in a residential area. No real breakfast was offered due season closing. If you are charging the rate you should offer what is due.
I will add more later. This is a 4 room self service inn aka there's some breakfast fixings but you clean the dishes you use (the kitchen is fully stocked with dishware). Very sweet place, definitely aware of the transfer of noise (ear plugs and a sound machine are provided).
A real pleasant surprise! Large rooms full kitchen downstairs with food and very clean. Better than most upscale hotels provide.

The owner was very communicative in texts. When the power went out one day, he stopped by and dropped off a battery light for us to use in case the power did not come on. (it eventually did). It's located about a mile from the train depot, and about half a mile from "downtown". We enjoyed having a coffee pot and coffee, and a few random emergency snacks in the cupboards. One night...
Good location, nice place with lots of room. If stairs are an issue for you, like it is for me, careful. Outside of that it was great.
We've stayed twice. Very clean, accommodating, and comfortable. Great for family. Stairs to top unit. If trouble with stairs, rent the bottom unit. Both are lovely. Quick walk to Ressurection coffee.
For the price that we could reserve it, it was a bargain. Very beautiful spacious house with 2 rooms. The owner was very kind and responsive and he troed to help us. The location was great and eastly to find and there was a parking spot for min 2 vehicles. The house was old, but every thing was like nostalgia to me
Lovely place to stay with your family and not only. Perfect location. Friendly and helpfull staff. Clean. Def. will come back in future.

5 Star operation. You can feel the love and pride Rob Rene have placed in this rustic Alaska stay. They have a lot of love and pride in their business; it shows why they are so successful.
We spent one night in the Bears Den Cabin and we were thrilled with Box Canyon Cabins! It's so conveniently close to Seward, but you still feel like you are out in the woods. The property is gorgeous. The pond and the landscaping and flowers were lovely. My little grandson had a ball tossing pine cones off the little bridge and watching them bob away down the little stream. The fire pit area was great...
My family and I stayed at Box Canyon Cabins for 4 nights and absolutely loved the accommodations! We stayed in Bear’s Den and Eagle’s Nest. The cabins were perfectly equipped with everything we needed and were very clean. The outside area was amazing and we enjoyed time around the fire pit every night. We also saw a moose right in our front yard! The hosts were very welcoming with a lot of knowledge...
Box Canyon Cabins is a wonderful place to stay if you’ll be spending time in Seward, AK! The cabins and grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The owners/hosts are pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable of the area and things to see/do. We stayed in The Wolf’s Den Cabin. It was very clean and had everything needed to a comfortable stay! I highly recommend staying here. ❤️
My friends and I stayed at Box Canyon Cabins in mid May. Our stay in the Bears Den was outstanding. We found it clean and well appointed. The location to any aspect of Seward is wonderful. The area is close to the glacier but very quiet and peaceful. While there, you are surrounded by nature. Wonderful! Rene, the owner, is very easy to prepare your visit with. If you are looking for shiny, new and fancy, don't stay here. The rooms were clean and the hotel is like a museum with a rich history including some ghosts (I didn't see any, but a plaque outside mentions some). Some reviews said it was dirty but it wasn't when I stayed there. Some of my group thought there was a funny smell but I didn't notice it. If there was any it was slight even to the sensitive...
This hotel was interesting, but I wouldn't go back. I think it's wonderful they're trying to preserve the history, but things are very old and we had to carry our luggage up the stairs to the third floor. Maybe if you're more into old buildings, this will be for you. Parking is a distance away, but the staff was friendly.
Beautiful, historic hotel. The creak of the floorboards and old style furniture was charming as heck. The updated bathroom was a pleasant surprise! We didn't see any ghosts but I'm not complaining :) The staff was kind and hospitable. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Great for staying at Seward on a budget. Centrally located close to all the action. Try the Cookery for dinner and the Yukon Bar for live music and drinks. I wouldn't recommend this place if you tend to spend time in the hotel room during trips. It's a great place to sleep. Free coffee and wifi.
Amazing little gem of a hotel. Highly recommended. The staff was kind and helpful, the room super clean, and the bed ridiculously comfortable. It was PERFECT!
Danny was the hotel manager during our two-night stay for our honeymoon in Alaska. While we enjoyed this historic hotel and our room was nice, it was really Danny who made this a great experience. He was always around with helpful information about whatever we were doing. He was also just great to talk to. We're so glad we picked this hotel right in the middle of Seward!

Alaska Wish Lodge to me is the best lodging . Very affordable prize. Very friendly place , excellent outmostper . Family accommodation Clean , very fashionable decoration , very comfortable peacefull place. The verybest among of all very handily Owner and Manager Adorable near to all Tourists attraction. ... Its perfect home to everybody ❤
The apartment was exceptionally clean, very large and well located. Very happy with our two nights there.
Nice lodging in the small town of Seward, walking distance to downtown. Painfully slow wifi, easy to hear neighbors, and lack of blackout curtains are all negatives.
This place is amazing, we stayed here fro 3 nights and I could not have asked for better service. The kitchen was fully loaded, the owner did a huge load of laundry for us for only $10, the coffee is amazing, the rooms were comfortable, and the access to the gas grill was awesome. I will definitely come back here when visiting Seward.

Such a cute little place! Very clean and comfortable! Perfect for a relaxing night after spending busy days out in seward!
If you can't find a place, 4th Ave Lodging will work. The internet was constantly spotty. Because our room faced the alley, there was noise in the morning from the beer trucks delivering beer to the neighboring bars.
Affordable and quaint. Great location downtown Seward. Has the basic necessities. I would reccomend this for saving money on lodging and use the savings on all of the experiences Alaska has to offer. Super close to restaurants, nightlife and entertainment. Walking distance to the Sealife center!
As from most of the reviews, this place is just fine if you just need a bed and a shower. The rooms are quite small, which was fine because we weren’t looking for a great “hotel” stay. Parking is fine. A little noisy from the bar traffic below but you’re staying in downtown Seward- noise should be expected on some level. My biggest ire was simply the bed. Ok for those of you that enjoy a super soft...
nice inexpensive room. not much to offer other than a warm bed and a clean restroom. limited parking spots. but its perfect for someone who doesn't plan to be in the room other than to sleep and shower.

Comfortable yurts and great little pavilion with bbq grills and small kitchen. Great place to stay if you are visiting Seward.
Super cute little spot. I stayed early September and saw the northern lights, cozy cabin, nice bathroom, very friendly staff. I’ll be back next time I visit Seward area.
Very cute place with a great staff Breakfast with coffee was amazing. The common showers were very clean. Shout out to Adrienne for being so nice and welcoming.
Stayed in the yurt village and it was SO cozy and comfortable! I have to admit, after living in a platform tent all summer, I wasn’t excited about “paying to stay” in “just another tent.” Was I pleasantly surprised! Great experience. Everything is as stated. Would have been nice to have at least one king bed, though. If you have anyone with leg issues, then this is going to be a challenge.
