Harbor 360 Hotel Seward, Seward1 / 14
8.9
Seward, 1412 4th Avenue 🧭 Map
We took the 7 1/2 hour boat tour on the hotel’s affiliate Spirit of Adventure. Weather didn’t cooperate — rained all day and water was a little rough for many of the passengers. Saw some wildlife (close-up of 2 Orcas, a few dolphins, many seals and Puffins). Boat staff was helpful and knowledgeable. Good lunch. Brownies for dessert were very good and the staff back at the hotel was able to secure some...
Conveniently located right on the harbor. The Major Marine Boat Tours office is located in the lobby, so that’s as far as we got. The staff seemed nice and there is ample parking just across the street. Beautiful views from the docks behind the hotel.
Harbor 360 was my favorite hotel during our trip to Alaska. It was right next to the train depot and small boat harbor so very convenient for the activities we had planned. We had a mountain-side view, but it was still lovely - just not as lovely as that wonderful harbor. The breakfast buffet was superb, plentiful, and hot. It was convenient to have the harbor tour desk right in the front lobby and...
Feels like a motel and is priced as a luxury hotel. Simple rooms, busy, very small waiting area. Good location for boat tours and across from the train station. Close to a couple of restaurants but far from downtown Seaward, aprox 1.5 miles. You can check in your luggage at the reception in the morning for the train ride in the evening to Anchorage. Have the whole day without worrying about your language...
I recently had the privilege of staying at the Harbor 360 Hotel in Seward, Alaska, and I cannot sing its praises enough. From the second I walked in, I was greeted by the most incredible views of the harbor right from my room. The scenery was utterly breathtaking, as I watched boats gently sway against the backdrop of picturesque mountains. The staff at Harbor 360 Hotel was extremely friendly and...
Absolutely loved this hotel. Great view of the harbor and mountains in the background. Wonderful shower and great room overall. We are on our honeymoon, and it is the best hotel we have stayed in so far while visiting Alaska. The breakfast was good too!

Stayed two nights there. so peaceful after the long weekend. We were the only guests staying at the Fireweed lodge - felt secluded but that's what we wanted. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The property took seriously about covid and had many safety measures in place. The restaurant onsite was excellent - awesome services and food although menu was limited. All tables were spaced...
Rooms are pretty good and standard for what is available at a lodge in Alaska. A little tired and is looking like could have a refresh but very serviceable. The lodge itself is a very open and airy building with a large fireplace, check-in desk, mini business center and a gift shop. Nice space and it has a water bottle fill station. They do have a restaurant onsite (see Resurrection Roadhouse) and...
I recently spend two nights at the Seward Windsong Lodge during a hiking vacation in Alaska and loved this property! Set in the woods, it reminded me so much of summer camp. The rooms are beautiful and peaceful and I loved my balcony overlooking the woods. I thought the food in the restaurant was delicious and the service across the board - the front desk, the gift shop and the waiters and waitresses...
The rooms were nice, the beds were comfortable. The location was nice and wooded with a nice view from balcony. It was raining when we checked in, they delivered our luggage but, did not offer us a ride to our building and it was a little bit of a walk to our lodge. The shuttle service was decent. It was a little loud in the evening with kids running up and down stairs but, all in all a nice place...
The room was clean and comfortable. Hotel staff were great. Nearby restaurant was a bit pricey but good. Shuttle driver was very accommodating and shuttle service was good. They will take your bags to the train station for free, if you are taking the train back to Anchorage! Enjoyed our stay!
A pleasant place to stay with cozy cabin rooms, friendly and helpful staff, and a reliable shuttle service with helpful drivers. Visit: July 2-5 2022, 3 nights Pros: - Everyone we met was incredibly friendly and helpful. The bus drivers were funny and took the time to explain the shuttle schedule and highlights repeatedly, and gave us food recommendations too. The staff were helpful, bringing us...

Great location and rooms are fine. Staff is helpful. Breakfast is complimentary but not very good. There is no parking for the hotel, and we were advised to just park anywhere in the street. Worked out, but it was just odd!
Clean and quiet with friendly staff. Basic room with strange design: the faucet is at the entrance to the room, iutside the bathroom. Good location, street parking is free but not always available. Limited selection biffet breakfast does not include any vegetables or fruit.
A very nice hotel located in Seward Alaska. Located downtown on a corner overlooking the bay. This is a moderate hotel. Clean rooms, breakfast provided. Easy parking. Close to attractions and restaurants. If your catching a cruise ship out of Seward go a day or two earlier, hotel will fit your needs.
This is the place I stay at when I'm down in Seward. The location is right on the waterfront, near the sea life center and a lot of really good restaurants. Free breakfast helps you save on cost, and there are shuttles to take you to the boat tours if you don't want to give up your parking spot.
A very nice hotel on the edge of the water in Seward. The room is clean, modern and a good size for 2 adults. Includes tv and fridge. Staff is friendly and the included breakfast has a big selection. We visited the Seward shipyard just north of the city and when we left the hotel, we drove onto Lowell Point Road which is a very short distance from the hotel for a very scenic view of the city of Seward...
Great location, very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Our view of Resurrection Bay was spectacular and we were just steps away from good shopping and restaurants. We loved have both a refrigerator and microwave in the room. good location. Pick up at train station. good breakfast. and very traditional wild animals decoration looks like a museum.
The hotel has a lot of character, with floral wallpapers and taxidermy; shared bathrooms and sinks in the bedrooms, like the old times. Walls are pretty thin, so you can hear a lot of the hall noise.

Location wise good. The customer service was good. It's pretty smelly in the rooms cuz all the cigarette smoke wafts in from the guests. They're somewhat pet friendly. Don't use a booking service book direct. What really set this place a part was the front desk worked with me to rebook and get my charge cleared when a 3rd party booking service messed up my pet reservation. I don't know if I'd go back...
This is a motel not a Hilton. Keep expectations in check. But the rooms were a good value, clean enough. Yeah its older but you'll be fine. It's bar/ lounge has great food and reasonabledrink prices. Friendly people. Locals hang out at this bar. Front desk check in is good. Location is great. Shops, tour locations, food, gas station, harbor boardwalk, cruise tour ships, gift shops are within a...
The room was comfortable and clean with a few exceptions. The pillows are very soft and there aren't a lot of them. The front desk wasn't able to get us more pillows. The beds are on the firm side, as well, which wasn't an issue for me, but definitely a consideration. The service was great. If you're traveling on the train, you can check your bags directly to the hotel. We got in 4 hours before check...
Booked for 2 nights with the family, but ended up checking out in 1 day as the room (double beds) was small. Upon entering the room, there was an odd smell, which we had to diffuse using air freshener (purchased at Safeway) The carpet didn't feel clean. The toilet was leaving They had a fan which served dual purpose 1) noisemaker 2) fresh air The location is decent as we could walk to the Subway and...
The lobby is warm and welcoming and all the staff are very kind and helpful. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious and inviting. Rooms may have a fridge but I don’t think there is a microwave.
I have stayed here twice in the last month and was well pleased on both occasions. Both the room with king size bed and the queen were clean and quiet. At the beginning of winter prices for me are very affordable. Front desk has been very friendly and helpful. Close access to bar/restaurant and the waterfront. Will be back for sure.

We were so fortunate to have our stay in Seward be at the Bell in the Woods. The house was super clean and our room felt like home - wonderful bed and bath. The breakfasts were amazing as Yana is a fabulous chef. It was close to downtown Seward, too. We'd definitely recommend this to others and promise a wow and delight experience!
Host was very responsive and the B&B was so cute and cozy! Great for couples and families. The check in process was easy and seamless, each room has an electronic keypad lock so you can come and go as you please. The rooms have in floor heating and a jetted tub. Breakfast was served in the community dining area and featured three courses with a fruit smoothie, baked jalapeño egg scramble, and fruit...
I would recommend this amazing B&B to anyone and everyone! We stayed in the larger suite (4 of us) which was well appointed and very comfortable. Breakfasts were hands down AMAZING! Made fresh each morning, true bed and breakfast style puts you at a table with strangers who quickly become lovely acquaintances that you can swap Alaska stories with!
I stayed here with my fiance after a long day of sea kayaking in Seward. Yana's place was the perfect spot to unwind after a full day of adventure. She makes an incredible breakfast and had homemade baked goods available all day. Totally recommend Bell in the Woods!
Beautiful home in a great location. Very welcoming atmosphere and touches of luxury in the rooms. Breakfast was delicious and the hosts and staff were friendly and welcoming.
Amazing service! Gourmet breakfasts were amazing and absolutely gorgeous! Spotlessly clean and better than I ever would have dreamed!! Loved Brooke and Nick, and everyone was very nice.

Most amazingly magical place I've ever stayed. I can't say enough great things about this place. Very relaxing, comfortable, tremendous views, exceptional customer service. We can't wait to go back! Love, love, love this place! ♥️
Orca island is magical and we feel lucky to have been able to experience it, we truly enjoyed our time there. We stayed 2 nights and were able to kayak and do the WWII bunker hike. We sat around the fire at night and watched the sunsets with fellow travelers. We mostly wore tennis shoes and hiking boots for the activities and lots of layers. It can be windy so it was nice to have a hat. We purchased...
I have never experienced a place like Orca Island. We ended our honeymoon with a two night stay here and what a way to end! We hiked to the old world War II bunker that had all of the views, enjoyed every observation deck and all of the kayaking. It was such a great experience !
Orca Island is absolutely phenomenal! This family owned business was the highlight of our trip. From the moment we arrived at the dock, we felt welcomed. They created an atmosphere amongst guests which felt inviting and light hearted. We ended up spending the evening around a fire on the rocks with all the guests visiting the island, laughing, meeting new individuals, and making an unforgettable memory...

Mary Ann was really welcoming and friendly; we really enjoyed talking to her. Breakfast was delicious. The space was comfortable, nicely decorated, and in a great location. Thank you for welcoming us into your lovely house, Mary Ann!
We stayed at Arctic Paradise Bed and Breakfast in September, 2022. Our host was very accommodating and informative and we enjoyed our stay very much. We had a beautiful room with all the comforts of home including an electric fireplace, and our own bathroom. MaryAnn prepared delicious breakfasts for us and left them in our fridge to just eat whenever we were ready and that worked out beautifully...
Mary Ann was an excellent host who provided great meals, worked around my allergies, and was extremely knowledgeable as well as attentive as it related to keeping the room clean. I'd come back here and recommend this place in a heartbeat to anyone visiting Seward. :)
Mary & Clementine are wonderful hosts. She’s very knowledgeable and readily gave us advice when asked. The room is very simple, and quiet, which we enjoyed. Breakfasts were good too.
Mary was one of our best hosts in a B&B. Much before we landed in Alaska, Mary helped us plan our stay and trips in Seward, and graciously offered to book some tours for us too. 1. The receptionist lady was very friendly, even recommending where to eat and where to shop and etc. 2. Room was clean and tidy. 3. Bathroom was very clean, it even reminds me of bathroom in hotels in Japan. 4. Microwave provided in the room. 5. Check in time up to 22.00 6. “Drop the key” check out is available. 7. Walking distance to downtown Seward or the port.
This hotel would have been a five star for me. Great location, front desk staff helpful, room clean but we had room 2 it was so noisy both night that we did not get any sleep. It alot of money to pay for no sleep.
The room was great, clean and comfortable. The lady at the desk was very nice and friendly. The price was reasonable considering that it was tourist season. It was very easy to find. If I return to Seward I will probably stay here again.
Very close to the harbor where all the tours start. Clean place. You might have to take a flight of stairs as a lot of rooms are on second level. Expensive for the amenities provided.

Very friendly, personal and comfortable with everything you need. Close to the Marine Wildlife Center, but a bit far away (to far to walk, especially when it is raining) from the cruise terminal and for the starting point of Kenai Fjord Tours. If you have a car, the perfect place to be. :-) I can highly recommend Trailhead Lodging- Seward.
It was back n the day I spent time there , LOVED IT... right now I have periodically been fishing parts of Kenai Lake and Trail River campground's exploring new woods and revisiting places of old trips.
Good place to stay in Seward. Coffee is very good. Suggestion: I think it is saver not to post publicly (the notice at room door and the place near laundry facility) that the room key code is the last 4 digits of your phone numbers. Simply communicate that to the guests privately in emails or texts.
It’s a very nice and comfy stay in Seward, I arrived very late around 1:00am, however, the sky is like at dusk. Check-in was easy, the owner allows you to use your booking phone number’s last four digits for entry combo. The room has lots of electrical outlets, and it suits me well as I had to charge batteries for 2 phones, 1 SLR camera and 1 drone, and to use the computer to download all photos and...
This is such a charming lodge close to main attractions. The city offers free shuttle and the lodge is close to the shuttle stop which makes it super convenient. The place is clean and cozy. The check in process is super easy, without a hassle. If you are looking for something comfortable without the feeling of a hotel, this is the perfect place. It made us feel a bit of Alaskan.
It was nice enough. Room was clean. Shower was strong. There was no climate control thermostat in the room. It was a little cool at first and being able to adjust the temperature would have been great. There weren't even any vents in the room. Not sure how climate control is achieved. There was also a note about not smoking anything within 500' of the building or get fined $500 which seemed extreme...

Sea Treasure's inn is a great place to stay. Very clean, very quiet. Loved the kitchen area. The view from the deck is priceless. Walking distance to Sewards main street and the water front parks. We give it 5 stars
It is delightful! There is a shared kitchen with oven/stove, full sized coffee maker and creamer, microwave. A refrigerator in the room. Bathroom is beautiful with shampoo. Absolutely wonderful!
This place is okay. The reason it got a 3 star is because it was very clean. The walls are very thin, we heard snoring upstairs and down. You are tucked in a residential area. No real breakfast was offered due season closing. If you are charging the rate you should offer what is due.
I will add more later. This is a 4 room self service inn aka there's some breakfast fixings but you clean the dishes you use (the kitchen is fully stocked with dishware). Very sweet place, definitely aware of the transfer of noise (ear plugs and a sound machine are provided).
A real pleasant surprise! Large rooms full kitchen downstairs with food and very clean. Better than most upscale hotels provide.

4.5 for value. Nice clean rooms in an older motel. Nothing fancy but suited our needs for a night. Can be loud at night if you're near the stairs
We arrived late because the highway was closed for blasting, when we arrived Candi was in the office(@ midnight). She was soo nice and understanding. We checked into our room, and it was so clean. The beds were very comfortable too. There is a microwave and refrigerator in our room, which was so nice . WE WILL DEFINATELY STAY HERE AGAIN!!!
Friendly, quaint, safe lodging in Seward, Alaska close to the harbor and within walking distance to restaurants and food trucks in summer.
Friendly manager and housekeeping staff. Great location between both small boat harbor and downtown areas. Wifi fair.
The room had a great view but was exceptionally hot with no fans or AC. The windows did open but one was missing a screen. Overall a decent place to stay and a great value for the price!
We had a room on the second floor, which had a nice view of the bay/ocean. The room itself was ok. Everything seemed a bit old and dated but it was fine for the few nights we stayed in Seward. Everything in Seward is within walking distance due to the small size of the town and the hotel was nice ely situated in the center. Overall, I'd stay again if the price was right

We loved Renfro's Lakeside Retreat and highly recommend it! It was our favorite place we stayed on our trip. We stayed in cabin #4, which has its unique fun. Good location, nice place with lots of room. If stairs are an issue for you, like it is for me, careful. Outside of that it was great.
We've stayed twice. Very clean, accommodating, and comfortable. Great for family. Stairs to top unit. If trouble with stairs, rent the bottom unit. Both are lovely. Quick walk to Ressurection coffee.
For the price that we could reserve it, it was a bargain. Very beautiful spacious house with 2 rooms. The owner was very kind and responsive and he troed to help us. The location was great and eastly to find and there was a parking spot for min 2 vehicles. The house was old, but every thing was like nostalgia to me

I will admit that I turned my nose up at this place, but it was the only place available on the day our boat tour was scheduled. Arriving I was even more skeptical. There are no bells and whistles here, you get what you pay for and the room is clean/comfortable enough for one or two nights. The staff was friendly and responsive to our requests. Our room had a kitchenette which was so helpful in preparation...
No frills, very basic motel. Friendly, helpful clerk at check-in, free coffee. Clean linens (we carefully check after terrible experiences down in Oregon) hot water. I was shocked to find daily maid service was provided without asking.
Modest rooms good for 1-2 night stays. Pros: 2 mins from the harbor and harbor-side restaurants. Has a parking lot. WiFi in the room. Cons:room is dated and the old heater took a while to heat up the room.
Quaint place with reasonable prices. Cable TV worked well but the Wi-Fi was very spotty. Clean enough, and the office staff was very friendly. Is a nice place for the price, and is a rock throw from the marina itself and a two minute drive/10 minute walk to downtown. If you're looking for an overnight stay, I would recommend.
Easy to see as you enter Seward. A decent and cozy place to stay for one night. Photos online are a little misleading but we were pretty certain we knew what we were getting in to. Clean, outdated and a little shabby but nothing wrong with our staff. Staff member was very sweet and helpful on check in
