Aston Lakeland Village Beach & Mountain Resort

This place is great! We had a one bedroom suite and the setup was perfect for my family of four. A bedroom with a door, is hard to find for kid naps. The decor is simple. If I weren't on vacation, I’d wish they had coffee in the lobby was out before 730am... kids wake up earlier than that. I might also wish ther lock on our door would have let us in on the first try. Those things are so minor - I would...
The resort was beautiful, lots of trees and short 3 minute walk to the lake. Four women stayed in 3 level 3 bedroom condo #508 having beautiful comfortable decor in open floor plan with gas fireplace in living area. Entry level is where 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and laundry are located. Stairs lead to living area, kitchen and dining area. Third level is the loft bedroom. Kitchen is fully stocked...
We were in one of the privately owned Appartment. The resort is directly on the lake shore, and while it did not perfectly aged, the location, swimming and swimming pools make it a great stay. Coin washing machine are available. One bear was sleeping in a tree which make it a memorable experience.
The location of this condo village is what makes it great. It's right off the main road and minutes from the stateline. The service was prompt when we needed our TV serviced. I like that there are 2 pools for your convenience With 3 kids in tow, it really makes a difference in our vacation time to have a private beach within walking distance. The building can definitely use some updates, but I recommend...
We had a 5 day stay here and it is a beautiful resort. We stayed in the three bedroom house with the loft and it was gorgeous, the facilities come stocked with just about everything you need. The lake itself was chilly but to be expected, there were still people swimming. The mountain view from the pier is breathtaking especially if you've never seen mountains like that (like us). The staff were nice...
We stayed just one night. The room was clean and quiet with a small full kitchen. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful. My only problem was the bed was disappointing. I would stay again though.

I had a good experience at this motel! They had comfy beds, and great working heater! The complaints I do have though, is that there's no microwave! And there were many dead bugs on the ceiling of the bathroom. The bathroom tub also didn't look trustworthy, it didn't look very clean. If they can work on cleaning a bit better and adding a microwave, I'd give it a 5 stars. The people at the front desk...
Nice enough Motel with fine rooms, the grocery store and laundromat liquor store Etc Within a 2 minute walk. My only issue is the owner's / managers of Motel 6 live on site and tend to be overprotective of the location and especially their laundry room. They treat it as if you are guests in their personal house instead of Just Happening to live where you should be taken care of
We got snowed in/ on and had to stop. At 3am they were the only ones that would give us a room. Good location "it's Tahoe" . We got 2 beds "smoking" yes people still do that. The beds were comfy and clean . Had a desk/ entertainment center no biggie. But no microwave or mini fridge. But we managed. Not all motel 6 locations are built the same
Typical motel 6 minimal and clean enough but the staff is great. I was able to extend and stay in the same room and after midnight when my neighbors were super loud I called and they took care of it right away. You can hear the traffic and the walls are thing between rooms so it’s probably not best for a light sleeper without ear plugs or white noise.
My room key keeps getting turned off, but it’s super easy to get that corrected! Also friendly staff and the ability to cancel housekeeping is awesome. I don’t need my sheets changed all the time.
The floor needs attention because it was lifting up and could hurt someone. The room was clean, but could use a little bit more cleaning and better washing on the covers because the sheets and cover look old and had peoples hairs. Other than that the service was okay and the stay accessability was good.

It's not a luxury stay but it is extremely comfortable and was a great value for me. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. The rooms had some really great features (small heatwr for boots and gloves), ability to turn down the heat at night, shower heaters for a make shift spa shower. The refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven were great additions I would definitely stay here again
Nice furniture and decor, clean, fast internet, comfortable beds. Plus it’s very spacious. However, at least in building 2 where I stayed, the noise from the hallway and nearby rooms comes in loud and clear because of hollow metal front doors with a wide gap under them. And for some reason there are two entrances, one door is in the bedroom, so there’s no escaping. If you’re a light sleeper or get...
Great location. We'll equipped rooms, a nice common area for families. Outdoor pool and hot tub were nice. Rooms and property overall probably need a face-lift but seems to fit in well with the overall Tahoe look and feel. Definitely not luxury but comfortable.
Location was great, but how is there no AC or fans in the room? As a solo female traveler, I’m not going to feel comfortable leaving my sliding door open when the parking lot is right there. This made for an extremely hot night, at the price of $200. I understand if it’s an older building, but a fan can go a long way.
Great location in South Tahoe. Love the courtyard with BBQs for cooking each night. Private beach is wonderful for paddle boarding and relaxing. Rooms are nice and spacious. Requested a hot plate since they don't have stoves and it was great. Very hard to get a room that you requested and rooms really need air conditioning in hot summer months or at least units in the bedrooms. Our last two nights...
My favorite vacation spot. There is a private sandy beach with lounge chairs available. It is located next door to Ski Run Marina which is a major boat/jet ski rental place and home to some shops and restaurants. There are several charter boats available at the marina, but no more Tahoe Queen.

I have never seen a beach so empty on tahoe. There were plenty of guests however the hotel has a large private beachfront and it had more than enough room for us to relax and not be crowded. The water was most clear early morning before people start to stir it up. We stayed in a partial lake view room and it was a great size. The bed was pretty hard and it was hot in there. They provided fans but...
Such a cute and cozy hotel! The room was clean, the view amazing, and the hot tub and heated pool were a fun time in the cool weather. 😁 The walls are a little thin, but it was quiet as soon as quiet hours started (10pm) so it wasn't really a problem for sleeping! Will definitely stay here again!
We just stayed here this last weekend. The service was great! The view from the room was amazing! Yes, this is a 3 star hotel and there are areas that feel outdated. I looked at a lot of hotels and for the price this is a great option. I do recommend to the hotel that they get new carpet in the lobby area, that would help with first impressions. Our room itself felt much nicer than the lobby which...
This place was amazing. The room had a cozy cabin feel to it. I was expecting a kitchenette, but was surprised to see a full working kitchen complete with stove. The location is great, the view from our room beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful. My wife is already planning our next trip.
The good: Location. Right off of the main highway, close to anything you need. The private beach was great & is what you are paying for. It was very nice walking out of our room onto the beach, especially when all of the Tahoe public beaches were so crowded that we couldn't even get in. The water on this side of the lake is not the deep blue or emerald green you see elsewhere & there was a lot of...
Everything promised and more. Online did not lie! Very relaxing and beautiful lodge with private beach, heated pool & spa. Perfect location to everything. Definitely, will be returning!

If you really need a place to stay maybe for just one night and you're looking to keep it budget, you should be ok. At one time I bet this place was really nice, but it is now so broke down from the outside. The room was mostly clean and everything worked, but don't bring your family, it doesn't feel entirely safe.
I LOVE this place. Quiet, a little safe haven. I've never had a problem with vagrants, I've never even heard any of the neighbors (even when the hotel is booked solid), and the staff leave you alone unless you need their assistance. The rooms are quaint, with a sweet heart-shaped bath tub in the room, surrounded by floor-to-ceiling mirrors. 3 lamps placed around the room give a soft (but definitely...
Awesome place to live.Me and my little daughter stayed there for 5 months.and it was a wonderful experience.we lived there like our own home.great management.everything was perfect.reasonable price as well.Best motel in the lake tahoe.
It's quaint and comfy. Our room had a heart shaped jacuzzi. The staff are friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again. The sheets and blankets were clean the bed was very comfortable. Everything was very clean.

Fireplace didn't work, and the in wall heater was hardly putting out any heat. Overall the room was okay, but the shower pressure and water temp goes from ice cold to scalding hot.

Nice clean room... Didn't care for the TV set up... Just wanted to watch local news stations to get weather info, didn't seem to be an option!
We were able to get the last room on a Saturday for $400.... kinda pricey for me but we were ready to call it a night. So we closed our eyes and pretended it was $200. The demand is so high around the area , so finding something cheaper might be a challenge and might not be somewhere you want to stay.
We loved staying at the Tahoe Valley Lodge. The staff is kind, the rooms are clean, and the property is very well kept. It is a charming place to stay with uniquely furnished rooms and is close to everything we wanted to do!

Enjoyed our stay very much. I read some negative reviews before we came and did not find them to be true. These are cabins, not the Westin. We stayed in #12 and found it to be clean and well setup when we arrived. The cabins are actually what we in California call tiny homes: park model RVs to everyone else. They are very cabiny feeling inside and out, have a small kitchen, full bathroom, bedroom...
The cabin we got was awesome and fit the 5 people we had. It was a good price but the second floor was almost half as tall as the 1st floor. Still was a good launch bad and super close to town, 25$ cab to it from harrahs
The cabin is tiny, but comfortable. Be aware that the ceiling in the loft is only about 4 feet high, and the heater is incredibly loud. It says it can accommodate 6, but we had barely enough room for three people's baggage.
Beautiful area, nice cabin, the owner is kind and gave us thorough instructions. We will definetly be back.
Nice and cozy cabins with everything you need! Perfect for small groups. We even made a turkey for Christmas without a problem!
We love this cabin! It had everything we needed in our short stay! I have a family of 4 and two dogs. We stayed in cabin #2 and I would recommend it to anyone! I would also recommend that you bring toilet paper, paper towels and dish soap along with the foods and snacks you would like. Bringing your own food saves you time and money! There is only one major drawback to this cabin, the heater is located...

We just loved our experience here. Excelent location and staff. Best cost benefit we found in our trip to California.
Nothing special but it does the trick after a long day on the slopes. The employees were super nice.
Great small hotel with very friendly owners. Stayed here twice now. Big room with a full kitchenette and a king bed. Way cheap for what you get. This is my go to hotel in the area now.
Very nice small Inn. The stuff is extremely friendly and it's placed on the main street. Still it's very quiet. The is smaller than I had previously but good enough. The heater is fantastic and the beds are very comfortable.
The rooms were great - clean, spacious, and comes with a full kitchen. Convient location within walking distance to many restaurants. The king sized bed is very comfortable. The couple that runs the motel are friendly and helpful. Far exceeded my expectations for a motel, and I would gladly stay there again.

Nice, quiet and clean hotel. Loved the location - easy walking distance to the gondola and village at Heavenly and a nice walk to the beach. Only a few cons about this hotel: the spotty wifi and lack of amenities in the rooms. But for the value and location, I would definitely stay here again.

I like this place. It's cheap, super simple, and no frills but still has everything you need. Microwave, fridge, shower, soaps, it's all here, but the room is tiny, bed's a double instead of queen+, and its motel style. Great for a simple place to crash between snowboarding days, and pretty much everyone I saw staying here was doing that. Also you can walk to Ernie's and that place is dope. Best...
Good value for money on WEEKDAYS for S Tahoe. Clean Rooms are small but okay for 2-3 nights. Great location if you go to Sierra at Tahoe. Cons: Weekends and holidays are extremely overprices - paying $240 for a double queen room that is hardly bigger than two beds are not good idea. !!! Edited - Google shows wrong (twice cheaper) price than actual on the web site WiFi could be better - was hardly...
Excellent value for the price. My partner and I have stayed here multiple times over the last few months. The rooms are clean and comfortable. You check in at High Country Lodge which is less than a 1 minute drive down the road. Check in and interaction with the staff has always been pleasant. Also, prime location; close to great restaurants, coffee shops, grocery and bike trails.
This is a fantastic place for its price. We got a same-day reservation which was nice. We had to get a key from a different motel, but it was only a 2-minute drive to do so. The room was small but clean and modern looking (for a motel at least). It wasn’t too loud and contained an effective fridge and microwave. It isn’t the nicest place, but it was better than I expected from such a cheap place.
For the price it has just what you need! Comfy bed, fridge, microwave, etc.. wish water pressure was higher but we had our entire family staying in several rooms and 9 out of 10 were great. One was very small.
Checkin was fast but the room was very congested and there was hardly any space for hanging or keeping any stuff. AC wasn't working properly. No instructions were provided like calling directory, dining options etc. The utilities in the room and bathroom were insufficient.

I arrived late and suppose I had made a reservation but turns out not , Lucky my they have the family room available, the thing was the room it looks like they didn't clean in a couple days since maybe the last time when was used for last time , order then that it was okay
I have stayed at this place multiple times now. While not perfect, it’s great value for money. The staff at front desk is extremely helpful. I had an ants problem in the room, and was offered a room on the second floor immediately to resolve the issue. The front desk also has coffee in case you need something quick in the morning. I stayed during winter and the place is well prepared for blizzards...
Not too pricey, good heater, comfortable beds, a good place to drop in. Included Tv, microwave, mini fridge with freezer. FYI you only get the bare minimum in a few things and you need to ask for more in the checkin area if you need extra towels, shampoo, toilet paper etc. ***IMPORTANT TIP*** dont leave food outside or in your car, my family watched a bear get into someone's truck and eat their food...
More like a 2.5. The shower was really scary, there was a huge clump of hair that I didn't see and the long strands touched my feet after I turned the shower on and it grossed me out :( also a ton of mold on the bottom of the shower curtain. Room was small and old and kind of run down. But I also didn't see any bugs at all so that's good. It was peaceful and literally a 5 min walk down to the lake...
Nice room- no phone in room or hand soap. Has fridge and microwave. Non smoking still smells like ashtray. Friendly staff.
Awesome people!!! Great price for the location, close to Stateline. A/C not needed even in summer. What is most important is the friendly, courteous personalities of the owners. i enjoyed getting to know this couple, even though there was a small language problem. They are well known and highly respected in the area, verified by other people i know. I highly recommend this motel to everyone...

Noce, big room. No complaints here. It had a nice bathroom, big room heater, kitchen, & even an electric stove top, microwave, & fridge. Bed was comfy, too. Had to knock off a couple stars for the room cus the TV didn't work, & I had ne experience with any service, so I couldn't award stars for that, either, but all in all, a very nice stay!
We loved our rooms !! They only provide two towels but are very accommodating in getting more. To check in it was like a hey get your key but that was fine for us!! We loved the kitchen aspect there was some pots and pans but we also brought what we wanted!! There was NO homelessness traffic …. Cozy and clean, with a full kitchen. The owner checked in on me via call and email before and after my trip to make sure everything was perfect for me during my stay here. I'll definitely be a return customer should I visit South Lake Tahoe again!
Pretty good. Nice, quiet, and clean. It's located on the edge of town. There wasn't anyone to greet me there when I arrived and the check-in procedure was through email conversations. I personally don't mind contactless check-ins. Great for people who want to be away from the noise!
Just stayed the weekend at Emerald Bay Village and I must say… WOW! We are a family of 6 and stayed in Cabin 8, Emerald Point and it was perfect! Everything has been completely remodeled and it looks great and CLEAN! The sofa and all beds were comfy, rooms were nice in size, the updates in the decor were fantastic! Our kids had a blast just playing right outside the cabin in the open area with plenty...
The location is perfect, and the lodge was amazing. You can tell that every lodge on the grounds were fully remodeled and expensive in taste. Nothing cheap about the upgrades. Everything was very clean and the beds, sofas are very comfortable. Also it is attached to a park that is located right behind the lodge that you can access through a private gate. The kids loves that too. We stayed here with...
The perfect Lake Tahoe getaway! The location of the Emerald Bay Village Cabins are great! We loved how much space our dog had to run around Nd also for us to hang out in the evenings. The location is perfect. Cabin is really cute.
We loved our stay at Holly’s Place, where our dog could roam around freely. Surrounded by trees, it felt private though being in the middle of the town and next to sports fields. We enjoyed nights by the gas fire. Strangely we saw NO ONE else (including staff) until our last day, likely due to it being midweek (and phone numbers were provided if we had needed anything). Bed in Bears Den was a bit...
We loved this place. We stayed in the 2 bedroom cabin. It's very quiet here and quaint. We absolutely loved that it's dog friendly. Our black lab loves the snow. The owners are very quick to respond if you have any questions. If your looking for something that has a more local feel rather than a touristy hotel/motel, then this is the place. We would definitely come back again. Thanks Holly's Place
Stayed here with a big group of friends. Everything was perfect! The cabins are clean and cozy and beautifully decorated. There was a big rec room for us to gather for meals and cooking. The property is only a short walk from the lake and is close to all the South Lake Tahoe amenities.
I loved my stay at Holly's Place! while I didn't bring a dog, it is totally pet friendly. The beautiful lake is literally within walking distance. Our little cabin was so cozy and comfortable. We went with a large group of people and hanging out in the rec room was definitely my favorite part of our time at Holly's Place. The full kitchen made our lives so easy when we wanted to cook and the fireplace...
Our favorite place to take our anniversary weekend with our dog. The cabins are small and comfy, the grounds are great for the dog to run around freely, and you meet some great people around the firepit. Gay friendly and dog friendly...if you have a problem with either of those things stay somewhere else.
