Hotels in South Lake Tahoe

Noce, big room. No complaints here. It had a nice bathroom, big room heater, kitchen, & even an electric stove top, microwave, & fridge. Bed was comfy, too. Had to knock off a couple stars for the room cus the TV didn't work, & I had ne experience with any service, so I couldn't award stars for that, either, but all in all, a very nice stay!

We loved our rooms !! They only provide two towels but are very accommodating in getting more. To check in it was like a hey get your key but that was fine for us!! We loved the kitchen aspect there was some pots and pans but we also brought what we wanted!! There was NO homelessness traffic …. The pool isn’t filled but California is in a drought so I completely understand… but would have been nice...

We just loved our experience here. Excelent location and staff. Best cost benefit we found in our trip to California.

It was a hotel but owner has remodeled & converted the rooms into Studio apartments.

Nothing special but it does the trick after a long day on the slopes. The employees were super nice.

Great small hotel with very friendly owners. Stayed here twice now. Big room with a full kitchenette and a king bed. Way cheap for what you get. This is my go to hotel in the area now.

Very nice small Inn. The stuff is extremely friendly and it's placed on the main street. Still it's very quiet. The is smaller than I had previously but good enough. The heater is fantastic and the beds are very comfortable.

The rooms were great - clean, spacious, and comes with a full kitchen. Convient location within walking distance to many restaurants. The king sized bed is very comfortable. The couple that runs the motel are friendly and helpful. Far exceeded my expectations for a motel, and I would gladly stay there again.

I arrived late and suppose I had made a reservation but turns out not , Lucky my they have the family room available, the thing was the room it looks like they didn't clean in a couple days since maybe the last time when was used for last time , order then that it was okay

I have stayed at this place multiple times now. While not perfect, it’s great value for money. The staff at front desk is extremely helpful. I had an ants problem in the room, and was offered a room on the second floor immediately to resolve the issue. The front desk also has coffee in case you need something quick in the morning. I stayed during winter and the place is well prepared for blizzards...

Not too pricey, good heater, comfortable beds, a good place to drop in. Included Tv, microwave, mini fridge with freezer. FYI you only get the bare minimum in a few things and you need to ask for more in the checkin area if you need extra towels, shampoo, toilet paper etc. ***IMPORTANT TIP*** dont leave food outside or in your car, my family watched a bear get into someone's truck and eat their food...

More like a 2.5. The shower was really scary, there was a huge clump of hair that I didn't see and the long strands touched my feet after I turned the shower on and it grossed me out :( also a ton of mold on the bottom of the shower curtain. Room was small and old and kind of run down. But I also didn't see any bugs at all so that's good. It was peaceful and literally a 5 min walk down to the lake...

Nice room- no phone in room or hand soap. Has fridge and microwave. Non smoking still smells like ashtray. Friendly staff.

Cozy and clean, with a full kitchen. The owner checked in on me via call and email before and after my trip to make sure everything was perfect for me during my stay here. I'll definitely be a return customer should I visit South Lake Tahoe again!

Pretty good. Nice, quiet, and clean. It's located on the edge of town. There wasn't anyone to greet me there when I arrived and the check-in procedure was through email conversations. I personally don't mind contactless check-ins. Great for people who want to be away from the noise!

Just stayed the weekend at Emerald Bay Village and I must say… WOW! We are a family of 6 and stayed in Cabin 8, Emerald Point and it was perfect! Everything has been completely remodeled and it looks great and CLEAN! The sofa and all beds were comfy, rooms were nice in size, the updates in the decor were fantastic! The location is perfect, and the lodge was amazing. You can tell that every lodge on the grounds were fully remodeled and expensive in taste. Nothing cheap about the upgrades.
