Stayed 3 days. Quiet hours not followed. Auto sensing lights go on/off all night. Otherwise really good.

The owner was gracious enough to allow us to have our organization spend time here for an afternoon staff retreat. The area was quiet and private. The outdoor space had plenty of seating for our staff including picnic tables and patio swings. The resort is in a good location, close to all of the Stateline restaurants and shops, and the staff were welcoming and helpful when we arrived.

Pine Cone Resort is an amazing place among the trees to lay your head! It truly gives you the feeling of coming home again …. Or like you’ve found the coziest cabin in all of Lake Tahoe. The location of pine cone resort is close to everything you could hope for in south lake tahoe! Short drive to everything, a lovely dive restaurant right across the road, and public beach access about 1 mile away. Great location and just a quick little drive to Stateline and Heavenly village. The host was very friendly and extremely accommodating. The room was cozy with a cabin-like feel and decor. Dog friendly with dog run attached to the room was a nice perk. Overall we had a great experience and would recommend it to anyone traveling and staying in the area.

We booked a 1 bedroom suite so the kids had a separate room. The living room had a nicer fridge and TV then we have at home. The beds were comfortable and the full kitchen had everything we needed. There's a few BBQ grills which was great. The pool and spa both worked. Whoever built the place must have been in construction, it was built to last. Dave made it super easy to book and check it. it was a very simple process we had our kiddos with us and it was great it felt homey, clean and had every thing we needed. The heat was on when we got there and it was amazing specially being at the snow all day. We totally watched a movie and had some hot coco. Wow, what a little GEM this place is! My daughter and I came with our pups to have some fun in the snow, and booked at Doc’s at the last minute! David helped us get one of the last cabins available (#5, so cute!), and we couldn’t have asked for better! Doc's is one of a kind! It fell for a bit under terrible management but the Watsons have taken back full control and these cottages are now what they once were! Amazing! It is so nice to know that Angie's daughter has taken over completely as of recent. I'm very glad in this case as this is one of my favorite places to stay! Welcome back Doc's!

We visit Doc's cottages a few times a year. We have always had a great stay & we have never been disappointed.

Quiet very quaint. Cottages are clean & up to date. Owners are very friendly and easy to work with. No resort fees.

The room was clean and it even had a few amenities the beds need warmer blankets and for the price they should have daily maid service or at the very least a towel service. As for the property it definitely needs to be updated and perhaps throw in some handicap parking. Not at all impressed with the upkeep or maintenance. I think next time am gonna have to try somewhere else for the money this place...

The hotel was great with friendly front desk and housekeeping staff. Easy check-in with a clean, semi-updated room. Appreciated the bathroom setup with large shower and sliding door for closure. Adjacent location under construction causing some constriction of the outdoor parking (temporary). Overall would recommend as it's close to local shopping, food and activities. I almost didn’t stay here because of the negative reviews. My standard, non-smoking king room is huge, modern, clean… everything I could ask for and then some. I suppose it’s possible that some rooms have not been renovated, but that was not my experience. Everything you need is on site or within half a mile up the street, and while the casino area smells like smoke, it’s very easy to escape the smell...

Was here or a wrestling event and stayed overnight. The pool and spa was well kept and clean. The event was in a room that was well-designed for concerts and theater stage shows. However with the wrestling ring 1/4 of the viewing area was hidden by the stage. The downside is that the rooms are not well ventilated, condensation gathers on the walls in the bathroom and windows with no fan for removal...

This is my favorite Casino hotel to stay at. Although the gaming floor is small is sufficient until you hop to the next place. Hotel- beautiful and recently remodeled. Most of the staff are in bad moods. I've made efforts to alleviate some of them. Some get better with time and kindness. I do consider the difficult people they are required to deal with on a daily basis and they probably aren't earning a livable wage. I do try to consider where they're coming from. But there are some there who really just don't like being there and you can tell. From my perspective...

Our room was fantastic and the views were incredible! We had no maid service during our stay but other than that, we were very happy. The bed and pillows were very comfortable which is one way I rate hotels! We love to play craps. All the dealers here are great but we really want to point out one in particular. I feel like they saved a lot of money by drawing the plans for the bathrooms themselves. The placement of the toilet paper is perfect for a contortionist. Also, watch out for the doorstop in the bathroom unless you want a broken toe. If you like a flat pillow then you will love the ones provided, otherwise bring one from home. It's clean and roomy.

Rooms were great. House keeping did a wonderful job. Food was way to expensive. Even their "cheap" takeout option was bare minimum $18. And vending machines was $3 no matter what you got. No buffet. Some staff were super nice. Some seemed like we just passed them off by saying hi or asking how to connect to wifi

Clean Large rooms but old furniture. Light above the sofa did not work. Our room had 2 bathrooms which we liked. Beds were comfortable and water pressure was good. Only outside parking.

I did not stay at Harrah's. I only walked through it. It was nice but I was totally turned off the minute I entered. It smelled of old cigarettes and it just smelled worse the more into the casino I went. I did not do anything in the casino because of the cigarette smoke just walked through and left. What an awesome place! The location is convenient for so many ski resorts. I got a room with an incredible view! The staff here is amazing, especially James and Kevin. I look forward to coming back in the summer.

My wife and I are finishing our stay at Worldmark Lake Tahoe in Stateline, NV while enjoying beautiful Heavenly. Accomodations fantastic, kitchen (fully stocked), fireplace, hot coffee, hot tub and short drive down to Nevada bases. Special shout out to Chris at the front desk and Mark at maintenance. All the rooms are on the second and third floors, the place desperately needs elevators. Otherwise, was at meetings all during my visit so didn't really get to experience much. The view is beautiful

The view was great, room was clean and service was friendly as well. My room was situated on a hill with not much room between parking and the road so it was a little scary at night. However, I still had a great experience.

Excellent experience from start to finish. Chris went above and beyond the normal hospitality process to ensure our vacation was nice and relaxing 😌. Unit A4 was good 👍 because we had a side patio area and rear balcony which allowed for maximum air flow. No a/c here so keep that in mind. It's good for family trip. Full size kitchen, and very close to the stagecoach ski lift. But facilities are old. A sofa bed is provided, but not clean. It seems $2 per person for shuttle bus to ski resort. So I drove my car to the Heavenly ski resort.

It would be nicer if there was a gas fireplace rather than burning duraflames. Also, the place needs double pane windows and weatherstiping on the doors because there is a cold draft coming through the door and windows causing the heater to be kept up to 80 degrees just to keep the room warm. Lastly, it would be nice if there were elevators because it is like climbing 5 stories to get to the rooms...

Very kind people at the front desk, they were very warm and so happy to help. The maintenance guys Juan and Raul are total rockstars and helped us out big time when we really needed it, which was great! That said, the "three bedroom" is really a two bedroom and a loft, when we really needed three actual bedrooms. We were able to make it work okay in the end, but that was annoying to deal with.
