Bally's Lake Tahoe Casino Resort

Hotel rooms seemed to be totally remodeled. Very nice decor with huge bathroom and balcony facing the snow capped mountains. Close to all attractions.

My family and I stayed at Bally's last night and we had a wonderful experience. Story time: We had originally booked our first stay in Dec to attend a Knight Monsters Hockey game. On our first stay it seems the hotel was short staffed on house keepers and had many late checkouts. Check in is supposed to be at 4:00 p.m., but by 6:15 p.m. there was still not available rooms for my family including my two young boys to place our stuff and rest before the hockey game. We were pretty upset and asked to cancel the reservation which was granted by the very nice front desk staff/manager. There were a lot of upset guests that night. I contacted the general manager after about the situation and she not only apologized for the situation but graciously comped a room for us for a future date which she booked.

Our makeup stay was last night and we had the best time. Not only were we able to check in a few minutes early, but the room that we were given had a beautiful view of Lake Tahoe. We attended another hockey game, and walked a short distance back to the hotel after the game with tired kids. The beds felt great after a long day. The next day, the pool was amazing, and the fitness center right next to the pool was pretty well appointed with albeit aging equipment. The beds were comfortable, clean, and the bathroom had a huge luxurious shower. All of the staff we encountered were so kind and helpful down to the housekeeping staff who helped us find an alternate route downstairs when the elevator was busy around checkout time.

We had such a great time that we will be back.
