Returned after 20 years, even though reviews were mediocre. Price was ok and i took the last motel room ... all have ocean view. Yes, there are certain smells... like fabulouso ..and maybe a stale blanket. Only the stairwells appeared shabby. Our first time in this hotel and we were nothing but happy with this place! The rooms were clean and comfortable. Lets not forget the amazing view of the beach! We didn't want to leave after we stood here a whole week. The stuff was friendly and they provided us with everything we needed plus they came everyday to clean our rooms, get us towels and soap. Their food was also good.

The location, the cleanliness and the attached restaurant. You can tell the housekeeper on our floor took pride in her job. Thank you Maggie! The reason they ask for a key deposit is because they are actual keys..not key cards. You get the cash deposit when you check out. You are right on the beach..expect some grit. Great location. Very clean. However, when they say check in is after 4 they mean AFTER 4! The old lady at the desk had an attitude when I inquired why the room still wasn’t ready. Been going to the Regal with my children, now my granddaughter an her family. The best deal in town. Friendly staff and who doesn't like the ocean.

We usually stay in north wildwood but the regal plaza and there staff are amazing the rooms are super clean along with the rest of the hotel I will never stay anywhere else as long as where in wildwood. The restaurant attached to the resort is incredible the breakfast is to die for .

We didn't come to Wildwood Crest to watch tv, but the lineup sucks. No ball. No game shows. Supposed to be an efficiency. Stove didn't work, no cooking utensils. The worst part was that on the floor above us it sounded like a bunch of mastodons were having a roller hockey tournament, even in early and late hours. Not the Taj Mahal but I didn't feel like driving back to Delaware after a service call for work and the room was cheap, clean and the owner was friendly when I called at 12:30am so this joint was a win for me.

We needed a place under $100 and this fit the bill. The staff is nice and helpful, the rooms are small, shower, fridge, microwave, tv, and two very firm beds. This was a clean place with a pool that was close to quite a few beaches. I would recommend it if your just passing through.

I stayed in 1 room with noisy AC and noisy fridge. The room was not prepared cooled for the guest, bathroom had one switch fan was forced to run with light which was quite loud, rooms noisy because close to highway, doors didn't insulte noise or air or bugs, half inch gap could be seen around the door. Overall not bad, but priced steeply. It's a motel not a hotel.

Our first vacation in years and our suite is cute, the pool is clean, the views are awesome and our experience was so relaxing. They have a little breakfast place, shuffleboard, ping pong and easy access to the pristine beach. We will be back again!

It's just an average hotel. They have a pool and a grill which is cool, but everything else was average. It was very close to the beach though. I saw a lot of people angry and leaving which makes me feel suspicious that something is going on. Besides that I had a good stay.

The service was exceptional! We stayed in one of the larger rooms/apartments and it was really great! Everything was very clean and the decor was modern (unlike other places in the area). The pool pool was great size and has 2 nice Jacuzzis attached. My family and I will be back next summer for sure!

We stayed here for two nights and will absolutely come back. It's 2 blocks from the beach and the start of the boardwalk. It's a 5 minute walk to the convention center. I think the owner was the one who took care of us. The rooms were super clean. The pool was heated and felt great. We will come back next year.

We stayed here for a night which worked out really well for us because we had to get a room last minute. We ended up staying with my sister and her boyfriend. Thankfully we were able to get a room with two separate bedrooms. The only thing that is pretty bad is the parking. Each car is butted up against each other.

We have stayed here in the past and would stay in the future as well. The rooms are always clean and well taken care of. The only issue we have had with the American Safari Hotel is the fact our sheets were damp from the air conditioner. We contacted the maintenance department and they came up as soon as we called and fixed the problem. I highly recommend this hotel

I've been staying there several times a year for many years.....I have great memories being there with my late friend Jim. He loved sitting on the deck and walking on the beach.
