Clean clean clean beautiful friendly. We have stayed here several times and the Le Mer never disappoints. This stay we were in a newly renovated room which was amazing. Large and spacious room with a kitchenette bathroom was big. Enough towels the kitchen came well stocked the bed was comfortable and boy what a big TV nice balcony, nice chairs they were even well decorated for the fall holidays
This place is probably the cleanest hotel we have ever stayed at! The rooms are beautiful, luxurious and spacious with a wonderful view. The staff was extremely accommodating and made our experience beyond a 5/5. We booked the room from the hotel lobby and they even helped us get a discounted price which ended up saving us a TON. Can't wait to stay here again!
Very enjoyable and pleasant hotel. The views are stunning from the ocean view rooms. The heated pool was a plus for the kids. And the live music each evening was enjoyable at night time viewing from our balcony. We will be back. It’s a 5 min drive into the Washington Mall town but parking wasn’t too bad. Beach access from the hotel is super easy and their beach service is helpful.
Rooms are beautiful, well appointed, comfortable and spacious with ample storage. The property is kept clean with colorful plantings and convenient location to beachfront. Shops, food and drinks all within short walking distance. My only negative was with some of the staff, Inparticular their concierge Wanda and front desk attendant Sara. Both were dismissive and not very customer service focused...
Absolutely stunning room with an amazing view. I am a clean freak. The room was impeccably clean. This is the nicest resort I have ever stayed at. The service is wonderful & the food is great. Access to the beach is very easy. You can use their complimentary umbrellas, chairs, and towels while ordering a delicious lunch on the beach. It was such a beautiful and relaxing vacation. Lay back, watch the...

I absolutely loved the balcony even though it was shared with others it was still great to have an outdoor area, I loved the common area with lounge chairs I could go down too and overlook the beach and my toddler could run around freely . It was very family oriented with arcade and kid pool. I loved how modern the room was and loved how it was ocean front.

The view from our 4th floor balcony was incredible. Welcoming sunrise's over the ocean and gorgeous sunsets to end the day. Location, location, location. The staff were friendly and helpful. Andy overnight especially! He helped guide us into the parking after a 15hr drive and made check in smooth and quick.
Location is the big selling point on this. We had a King suite with an ocean view. The balcony is small but adequate and the view was amazing. We were on the fourth floor and I recommend at least this high for visibility. Staff was friendly and helpful especially the overnight guy...sorry don't remember his name. Down side is the room itself was eh. No microwave in a suite...bit of a letdown.
Ocean club is centrally located in Cape May. The pool area is beautiful and resort like. They have a full service tiki bar and live entertainment during the day. The pool is clean and the chairs are extremely comfortable. Sammy does an excellent job keeping the pool area in tip top shape and his customer service skills are impeccable. We reserved two connecting rooms, one with two doubles and the other...
Amazing comfort, service, food, views, … it’s resort stay in the middle of American History. You get the best of both world! Wake up in the morning, right out of bed, open your big sliding door and right away the ocean is so close you hear the waves and see the ocean directly in front of you. Have your gourmet breakfast seaside. Get your complimentary towel and sit by the pool, order a drink in the...
Exceeded expectations. Incredible staff works diligently to cater to your family. Exceptionally clean and updated. Private beach with chair/towel service. Honestly, simply perfect. Pool feels like you’re at a Caribbean resort. Private ample parking. Pillows could be better but that’s if I’m searching for a complaint. Will definitely be back again and again. Highly recommend!!!
This applies to the Sea Salt restaurant. The food was very good and was a delightful surprise. Eclectic and our server was attentive and fantastic with coffee on anticipation.

Rooms were very clean and tidy. Amenities in bathroom, soap, shampoo etc. Comfortable clean bed and bedding. Staff friendly and helpful and gave us reserved parking space near elevator because of one of us having mobility issues. Thanking them for their kindness!
Great beach getaway!! Excellent location - across the street from the beach and close to downtown area. If you don't want to go anywhere, there is a restaurant, gymn and liquor store all on premise. Restaurants, bike rentals all in walking distance. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Great value for the price. I would def recommend and plan to return in the future!
This place is exactly what we wanted! Now we were there off season so if you plan on staying there I would highly recommend booking early. The rooms were so nicely done. Take your glass of wine and go out to a balcony to have the awesome view of the ocean and to hear the waves at night. All types of restaurants and venues within walking distance. We will go back.
Clean, updated, friendly and beautiful location on the beach. We had a poolside room with dedicated patio space. The view from the room doesn’t see over the boardwalk, but we could go hang out on the upper story shared sun deck when we wanted that. The beach is right across the street, we could listen to the surf. The room was freshly updated and well designed with basic kitchenette, quiet at night...
Great outside bar area, two levels, good food, best orange crushes an happy hour, greeat views of the water an beach upstairs
Great rooms and great service. Only complaint would be there bar/restaurant is only open thur-sun and until 11pm. And the water pressure in the room is very low. Otherwise the hotel is very accommodating!

3 blocks from the beach, 6 blocks from the main shopping hub. Rooms are small, bathroom even smaller. Sink is outside of the bathroom. Relatively quite. Very helpful staff. Needs maintenance - peeling paint, unfinished updates in bathroom. Had air conditioning.
An overall great spot. Super friendly staff and vibe. Has a local feel, not corporate. The bar is fun. The in-room AC works really well if you like to sleep cold like me. I don't usually look to stay at historic inns/b&bs type properties, not normally my thing. But I would definitely stay here again.
It was my first time as a guest and I will definetly be back! The property is charming with a great mix of the old and new. I love that the owners have maintained the integrity and character of a 150 year old property while still including modern conveniences. Took the whole family last week. Charming hotel, rich with history. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful when our ac went out. Moved us to a very nice room! Loved sitting on porch in the evening and listening to live music! Would recommend.
Great Historic Building/Landmark in Cape May. I've been to a wedding, a mystery dinner, the king eddy room (bar). Very nice place.
Excellent food and service. Fried chicken was great! Their dinner rolls are amazing. Very good experience.

My husband and I stayed here for a mini vacation and we couldn’t have made a better choice! Not only was the hotel beautiful and immaculate; the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. There is no better spot than Congress Hall in Cape May. You are in the middle of the action so you can valet your car for the weekend and walk to shops & restaurants, not to mention the beach! That's if you even want to leave. Between the Brown Room and the Veranda, there is always something going on. The food and service at the Blue Pig are always top notch. Such a beautiful Hotel! It was decorated beautifully for the holidays. The bar was so cozy with a beautiful vibe and gorgeous fireplace. Going to make this a holiday tradition. The rooms were clean and quaint. Loved that they had outdoor seating with heaters in the winter. Great outdoor concessions for holiday shopping. Loved the churro and hot chocolate bar. Everything was just beautiful!
Not only is this hotel steeped in history and the tradition of the east coast's first seaside resort town, they know hospitality! The hotel is located perfectly near the ocean with views galore! Our room provided the unique opportunity to see BOTH sunset and sunrise through the same window! Fireside couches, a cozy upscale bar setting and dining/shopping options on site make for a complete vacation...
I absolutely love this hotel. It's the oldest seaside resort in America. It's absolutely charming. It has a restaurant, The Blue Pig, with excellent food. There's also a coffee shop with bakery goods and sundries, along with a couple of small gift/clothing/souvenir shops. I asked for a quiet room on our 3rd visit, and the request was not honored. Also, we were shut out of the fabulous Thanksgiving...
A wonderful place. Everyone is treated with respect here and this then brings a warm and friendly atmosphere that's unmatched! Call it southern hospitality if you will. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are always fabulous at the blue pig restaurant. Top off the night listening and dancing at the boiler room.
Had drinks & dinner with family on summer night in August. We all had a great time. Wonderful setting, we ate outside overlooking the Grand Lawn with a beautiful ocean view. Service was spot on, our waitress was attentive and very professional. The meal was the best one we experienced during our stay in Cape May. We'll be going back there again but in the off-season when it's not so crowded.

This is a wonderful B&B. I have visited here several times and it never disappoints. The staff is absolutely wonderful. They serve a great breakfast and afternoon treats and wine and cheese. This all said- the best place in Cape May to view the beautiful ocean and dip your feet in the sand. A very special fall getaway. Thank you!
Just loved this place. A pleasant surprise finding out that not only did they serve breakfast included, but also Tea and sweets in the afternoon and wine and cheese in the evening. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very beautiful rooms!
The room was too small and very damp even with the AC, which just made it cold and damp. When we asked about it and the toilet not working we were brushed off by the management. The outside deck and breakfasts were great. Plenty of other B+B's are available
Quaint bed and breakfast in a very old building with a ton of charm. The building and property were maintained to an... acceptable degree... It's old construction so I give a lot of things a pass, but the modern AC unit was moldy, and it just had a ton of rough edges (like blinds that don't work) that really would be easy enough to smooth out with a maintenance team suited for the craftsmanship that...
Spending the night at The Angel of The Sea hotel was a once in a lifetime experience, if you like old fashion 19th century themed hotels, this would be the best place to stay from the east coast. The staff and the owner are very generous and the best thing is they have a homemade style restaurant, the old fashion dining is remarkable.

Stayed here for a wedding, great venue. Everything in one location. The church was 2 blocks away, walking distance, shopping 2 blocks away. Nice bed and breakfast establishment. A bit worn but cozy. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is included and is very good. Rooms are a bit dark due to local restrictions that require only LED lighting. Could use some updating as the ceiling to floor curtains were worn. But our room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
Breakfast included and nice combo of continental help-yourself and no additional cost made to order entrees that hit the spot. Coffee just so-so.

We stayed one night at Hotel Alcott after Tropical Storm Isasias knocked out power at our other hotel. They were extremely welcoming of us and we so appreciated it. Very clean rooms (on the small side for a basic queen room) but a nice comfortable place. The location is good and it’s about a 15 minute walk from anywhere in town. It is one block from the beach. Would definitely recommend staying here
Very clean, with a quiet elegance. Just a few blocks from the center of town. Our room was small but clean and elegant in every sense. The sink was a beautiful porcelain period piece, and the shower was modern with a glass divider. There is a basic breakfast every morning. There is no parking but they do offer a pass to a local public lot. We didn't find that to be a problem in the off-season...
Me and my boyfriend stayed here while on a 5 day vacation. We weren't at the hotel much except to sleep and maybe stop in for a nap, but it when we were there it was lovely. A classic Cape May Hotel, with decent service and amenities. They could certainly use some updates of infrastructure, the heat in our room was spotty, but overall a good experience.
The hotel Alcott is a beautiful hotel, we stayed over night after a wedding was hosted there. The rooms were very clean and nice. With our room we were able to step out onto the deck which was very nice. The only downside to the room was it seemed it never cooled down. Always hovered around 73 degrees I would definitely stay there again.

This place is totally top notch! Everything was clean and beautiful. It's like they thought of everything. Breakfasts and afternoon were delicious! We enjoyed the free bicycles, and the location couldn't be better for the beach, dining and shopping. We've already booked for next year.

Honestly, I've been coming to The Queen Victoria for years and I'm not sure if it's because we came off season this year or if they've hit a snag due to Covid, but the quality isn't what I remember from a few years ago. Our room was fine. The best part was the porch overlooking the main drag with the sound of crashing waves. Otherwise the furniture, linens etc were all a bit too shabby (chic) for the off season price mark. Front staff wait staff were nice enough but did contradict each other on some basic info re: whether or not it was possible to get a late night drink from the restaurant.

Very beautiful place. Great location. Only issue is that they say it is child free, but on two occasions I saw and heard children yelling and banging on doors during quiet hours. This place is amazing! Beds are like sleeping in a marshmallow. Service is excellent and location can't be beat. Stayed there numerous times and never disappointed.
My wife and I have been staying here at least two times per year for about five or six years now. We love, love, love staying here. The main thing is the boutique hotel size and attention with services backed up by a larger hospitality group that is locally owned and operated. The decor is what I would call a mashup of Victorian architecture and Manhattan mod. Food and beverage service is on par with...
Great dinner, really liked the steak and cake (crab cake). Wish I had tried the deviled eggs. Great cocktails as well.

The seasonal menu is balanced with meat and seafood entrees, tasty details to flavor each dish. Scottish Salmon is a favorite. Also recommend the scallops and any of their steak offerings.
The best. Chefs tasting menu was phenomenal. Great service and great food. Everything they have is top of the line, fresh and premium. Goodthing we had a gift card cause we spent $250 on dinner for 2!
Very nice, upscale restaurant near the beach. I had the Chef's tasting and each dish was excellent. A definite GO if you're looking for a well presented, tasty, upscale meal.
At $30+ an entree you're better off doing the chefs tasting, which by the way was amazing. Corn soup, scallops, foie gras, steak, risotto, chocolate cake, all of it was superb. Best meal in Cape May.
