Wonderfully large accommodation with extensive living room, desperate kitchen and master bedroom with robes. Has a fireplace that I wish we could light but no wood, likely not encouraged. Nice location. A river view round have been only nicer.
Lovely place although the wood we got didn't seem to light well and we had to buy our own firestarter. Though the person that brought it to me was very nice! King bedroom condo was amazing and quiet. Everything clean ( pillows we're alright, only one has a zipper cover AND pillowcase) but I could actually sleep in this bed unlike many hotels. Shower was broken , body wash empty, but was fixed promptly...
We had the best time at this resort. It was very clean and there is so much to do you don’t even want to leave the resort. It’s minutes from Busch Gardens and Water Country. Everyone was so nice and our kids loved every second of being there. With the indoor and outdoor pools, lazy river, water slide, game room, and beautiful views, it’s the perfect place to vacation.
Beautiful resort with plenty to do. Staff members are great and always willing to go the extra mile to meet your needs. The resort offers free transportation anywhere within the resort.
When I went to this place, it was one of the best vacations I have went to! There are so many things to do! When we stayed there, the rooms were gorgeous and everything was just amazing there. I totally recommend going here. It is amazing.
Beautiful rooms! Spacious, clean, and every room provides the essential amenities. There is a lot to do on property for the whole family. A great place to spend a quick weekend or an extended stay. The on property restrants offer quality dinning, and are family friendly.

Nice place! Some facilities not available die to seasonal status. Having townhouse style living a good feature. We enjoyed the hot tub! Would've used the nearby BBQ but too cold @ night Thanks for the short stay.
Cozy spot with nice layout and the Ankeny you'd like when you go away, full functioning and stocked with eatery kitchen, bedroom with a jacuzzi, a fireplace in the living room, a tucked away washer and dryer, pools and grills galore. Not sure what's in the pool but it destroyed one of my girl's hair and made the other ones scalp turn. Other two were just fine. Fun activities and friendly staff. Sports...
Lots to do and a good location. Nice little playground and minigolf area. I really wish they would warm up the indoor pool more though. It was only 81 degrees the whole stay and we could only stay in for about an hour before my kids lips were blue.
The outdoor pools were too cold and the indoor pool was too noisy. They knew we had a toddler but put us in a unit with a huge staircase right inside the front door. We had to create a make-shift baby gate out of the chairs and even then we worried. The play grounds were very nice.
The amenities are great, people at the front desk are very helpful. Our neighbors were very noisy, but we tried to stay out during the day. They were also smokers. However, we loved our trip to Williamsburg, and this facility. We would definitely come back.
The structures and grounds are well kept. Service has been pretty good. Amenities are mostly well taken care of. There are lots of things for kids to do including at least three swimming pools. Close to other activities including Busch Gardens and Water County. Home is nice and big with most amenities expected.

Attended a wedding at the Williamsburg Inn and thought that this might be a good place to stay for the night. We were able to walk across the street from the lodge to the wedding and reception in a matter of minutes. Nicely decorated very colonial looking. We enjoyed our brief stay there.
One of the best Thanksgiving dinners I’ve ever had. When you don’t have family to go visit, cooking a dinner for yourself is pointless, so My brother and I always go out each year. This was the nicest place I’ve been to for Thanksgiving, hands down. It’s quite expensive but well worth it. The buffet features so many tasty options that you’ll end up leaving stuffed.
The customer service is absolutely fabulous the rooms with a king sized bed are humongous they are big and spacious the bathroom is beautiful with unique patterns on the wall. The grounds are well kept with flower gardens and you feel like you're on vacation when you go here you don't feel like you're just standing at a Hampton Inn or somewhere typical you know that you're in a hotel that is a little...
Really enjoyed our stay. Except for a broken toilet paper holder, the room was great. Very functional and in a great location. We used the pool almost everyday and the kids loved it! Front desk was very helpful on multiple occasions.
I absolutely love this place! The front desk staff ard kind and helpful. You can grab a quick breakfast that is enjoyable. The rooms are clean and spacious. Walking distance to Colonial Williamsburg.

Clean and conferrable rooms, pools are a bit small for he size of the resort. But in general good experience
Very clean, front desk staff was very nice. Security was very visible throughout stay, felt very safe. The doors and walls seem thin, could hear doors open and close and talking. No elevator. Would love to see an upgrade to softer closing doors. Also unit numbers are very dark. I checked in at night and it was difficult finding the unit I was in. But overall, fantastic stay. Will be staying again in...
Huge rooms with lots of light and all appliances. Prompt, friendly service for a drip from the tub. Matthew even cleaned and bleached after fixing it. We're using bottled water because of the taste, but that's not their fault. The deck facing the golf green is peaceful and big enough for the whole family. There are many great things within driving distance to do every day.
This place was a gem! We traveled from SC to North and made last minute reservations. It is full family resort. We paid for 1 bedroom but upon arrival received upgrade to 2 bedroom full apartment with 2 full bathroom and everything you would need to have home away from home. Property is secured, clean and gorgeous. Pool provides towels, there is hot tub, mini golf and many more. Will definitely come...
Great overall experience on the property. The pool and fitness facilities are nice. Lots of outdoor activities for the kids. Just say "No" to the timeshare presentation that they will try to sign you up for after checking in. Even as an owner, I have to warn you to beware.
Rooms are beautiful! So much room to spread out. Kitchen is large but missing pans and utensils needed for a meal. We will definitely come back.
Quiet location. Away from the bustle of the city. Very clean environment Home away from home. Clean accommodation with all the essentials Clean in and out Front desk staff were friendly and courteous. Also texted periodically to check on my comfort

The bed was extremely comfortable. The location is perfect and there are many amenities for people of all ages. Check-in was quick and we received delicious cookies as a bonus.
We stayed here for a weekend away. The hotel is clean but is older and dated but well maintained. The walls were a bit thin we heard our neighbors at night and I know they heard us with our baby. The location is very conscientious to Busch Gardens. We loved the convenience of having a restaurant in the hotel but it took a long time for us and others to get their food. We would stay here again given...
We were VERY happy with just about everything about this hotel! The lobby and public spaces are well lit and very inviting. The desk staff were incredibly pleasant and efficient. Our room was clean and quite comfortable!!! And the pool water was a nice, comfortable temperature!!! The location was VERY convenient to Busch Gardens (unfortunately, the shuttle was not running so we had to pay for parking...
Nice hotel, friendly and clean. Our room was nice although it's beginning to show signs of wear (furniture scratches, toilet losing its shine, balcony slider door loud and hard to open and close due to bent track). They only come to clean the room when you ask them to. In room mini refrigerator worked well. Coffee came with 2 packs of coffee and 2 cups. I had to go to the front desk to replenish for...
We chose this location as it was close to colonial Williamsburg. This is an older hotel and it has been adequately kept up. However the decorations inside the hotel are dated. Unfortunately our room was not ready even though we showed up at the correct checking time. But the hotel front staff was very accommodating medating and expedited the cleaning of the room so we were able to get in in about...
Excellent customer service! I always enjoy the complimentary cookies and water. The beds are comfy. The walls are quite thin, we could hear our neighbors. Also the ceilings seem to be collecting mildew. Overall the rooms were a decent size with a small bathroom. A few upgrades and this could be a five star hotel. The pool looks great! As a side bar note to the hotel...I would fire the landscaper....

This is a great place to stay. It is peaceful, spacious, and kid friendly. The staff is friendly and responds quickly. I love that you can text and not have to call. Beautiful place to stay! My husband and I was there for our Anniversary and we had a wonderful, relaxing stay. We felt right at home in our unit. Accommodations: clean, comfortable; couple of glitches (walk-in shower curtains too short, issues with TV and I-net services) Very nice pool facilities: 4 outdoor pools: 1 for tots; 2 for family play; 1 for 18yr+; 2 outdoor hot tubs: 1 for seniors; 1 for family; 1 indoor pool and 1 indoor hot tub. Multiple areas for outdoor grilling; several areas for outdoor play including well maintained tennis...
Amazing Resort, clean rooms with plenty amenities. Alots of activities on site, so many pools we lost count. Golf, volleyball, basketball, amazing grounds with beautiful scenery and sights. Great place. It is clean and nicely landscaped. They are refurbishing the condos and the completed ones are great. The pool and hot tubs are clean and nice however, large busloads of people came in while we were in the pool. We left because it became very crowded and unruly. If the pool and hot tubs were kept simply for the people renting the condos, I would have given it 5 stars. Allowing bus loads...
First the Pros- our condo was large, comfortable and very well maintained. The grounds were beautiful and the staff friendly. The Cons- When we arrived to check in there was absolutely no place to park. We had to park in the grass. First of all, loved the virtual assistant text service. Was easy and quick to ask questions. Our kids loved the water park, especially since the water was warm and there were things for all the kids to enjoy. The room we got was spacious and clean. No complaints here! Everything was amazing. Great family trip from kids to grandma. The breakfast pass was a great add on and it did not disappoint. The kids love the paw passes and checking out all the different activities. My youngest wore their blow up Halloween costumes and it was amazing to see people coming to take pics with them, they had a blast! Will definitely come back in Oct again!
The kids are having a great time!! The water park is great for them. BUT the room is not a room I would pay this price again for it is beyond outdated ! Spacious 2 bed 2 bath apartments. Good kitchen set up with utensils. They also extended our check out time by an hour without any extra charge. They also have an out of unit washer and dryer.
I will start off with the good. 1. Service was good. Staff was friendly. 2. Decent location to Busch Gardens, about a 10-15 minute drive. 3. Plenty of room for larger families. The bad. 1. Rooms have not been renovated since the 90s. Very old all the way around. Musty smelling. Not what I was expecting at all. 2. Beds were very uncomfortable. I feel like the mattresses were from the 90s as well. ...
The room would have been a five star if there had been enough hot water to fill the jacuzzi but as it was we ran out when it was a quarter full and my wife never did get her bath. The state would have been even more enjoyable if the phone didn't ring everyday with solicitations from the condo managers trying to sell you on another week's day. Otherwise, the combinations were very nice the area was...
This is a really nice place to stay! It's close to everything, food, shopping, entertainment. It was very quiet and loved how you have your own private balcony. My only complaint would be not to run out of towels because you only get 2 more sets, anymore than that you'll be charged! The rooms are a nice size and kitchen was a nice size too. Will be back for another visit!
Our condo needed updated but beds were comfy and clean and everything worked well. Beautiful area. We felt safe and slept great. We also enjoyed the jetted tub several times during our stay. The condo was very spacious. We would definitely stay here again!
It's a nice home away from home. The rooms are a good size. Nice to have a full kitchen and be able to prepare your own meals and help cut down vacation costs. The pools are kept nice and clean and the staff is very attentive to your needs. Had a problem with the air conditioning system and someone was over right away to fix it.

We have stayed several times and always have a great time. The villas are family friendly and comfortable. Its is mostly quiet so no sleep or noise complaints. The beds are comfortable. The kitchens are stocked with the basics needed to cook and you can make special requests for special Items like tea kettles or crockpots for loan from the resort. Its in a a great location as well. Highly recommend
Its location is ideal, close to different restaurants and shopping areas. Each room has a historical motif. Headboards have the revolutionary figures. There is a clean exercise room as well as indoor and outdoor pools. Golf course is walking distance as well.
I needed an escape from NYC and found this spot! Overall, I found it to be quite lovely and a perfect visit. The grounds are beautiful and the room was massive and clean. The property itself certainly feels more like a timeshare/apartment complex than a full service hotel. It IS a timeshare so I wasn’t sure what would feel different but it just was. I wish there were more dining options on the property...
Efficiency Suite- Pros: Nice property. Nice room. Nice staff. Cons: Didn't realize the pool area by our building was CLOSED for the season, so we had to drive to the other pool because October evenings are very cold! We called ahead and asked this very question before our stay, and the staff told us they were open. Hot tubs and pools were not filtered or FULL. We got back from a full day of walking...
I love the location and price we paid, however, I felt like I was sleeping on a plywood mattress. I want to give this MVC a great review , I really do. The resort gym and pools are amazing. The room as HUGE!! My wife and I loved the size of the room and everything it had to offer. The mattress was HORRIBLE. The mattress is enough to make me think twice about returning.
Our first time at this place and I overall the service was good and also the amenities for the price paid. The room was decent and spacious, well equipped, still they should provide dish soap and use products that leave a good aroma after use. However the floor/carpets were not as cleaned as they appeared. We started finding debris hidden, Cheerios here and there, lose hairs, ect. So we didn't complaint...

Small but nice resort. Makes up for less amenities with Th-ice social, F-wine tasting, Sat-poolside BBQ, Sun-muffins/mimosas check out. Deluxe unit very roomy for four. Downstairs unit little musty, maybe upstairs units less so???
I would definitely stay here again. The grounds of the hotel were very pretty, it was in quick driving distance to a ton of restaurants, a movie theater, Williamsburg, Jamestown, Yorktown, and miniature golf. The room we got was a suite and it was spacious and comfortable. The bed and sheets were excellent. The room was very clean and came with everything we needed, including some detergent to use...
Very nice property with buildings and suites featuring modern colonial-type style and decor. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was pleasant and helpful. One of the nicer Wyndham resort hotels. Clean, spacious and well equipped. Maintenance & housekeeping responded in 10 minutes. Everyone was friendly and courteous.
Very cute and comfortable place. They have nearly everything you need to make you feel at home. The kitchen has plenty of equipment and implements to whip something up (and the Food Lion grocery store isn't too far away). It was nice and the room was clean and the air was cool. Their room cards supposedly don't mess up after being next to your phone, but since the guy who checked our group in was new and only put one night on our cards, we couldn't test them. I will be honest and straight to the point, ignore all other reviews. This is the only review you need to read. This hotel is clean, it’s not new or luxurious but for the money it’s the best. After all you only going to crash for 6-8 hours then go sightseeing. People have unrealistic expectations. The rooms are medium the A/C worked. Swimming pool open tell 10pm. Breakfast is continental ( Bagels,...
Staff was friendly, room was clean. We where offered early check-in, but didn't need it. My wife and I used the hotel after a 12 hour day at Bush Gardens 5 minutes away. Breakfast was serving in the morning, cereal, fruit's, Bagels and Waffles. Long wait for Waffles using a standard Belgium waffle maker. We are bringing the kids next weekend.
For a 3 star hotel it's actually a nice play to stay. They have an indoor salt waterpool, a sauna, arcade room, vending and continental breakfast. I give the breakfast 2 out of 5 stars though. The customer service is excellent. They're very helpful and willing to make sure the guest needs are always met and that their stay there is a great one. I would definitely stay here again.

This was our first time staying on a property inside of Colonial Williamsburg itself. The rooms were clean, roomy, and had nice amenities. We will absolutely be staying with Woodlands again! Everyone was extremely helpful and accommodating, which is really important for me, as I am disabled. This hotel, and especially the staff, will make your stay memorable. I can't thank everyone there enough!
Although this is an older hotel, it's been well maintained and is clean. Staff were super friendly, and they accept pets so we could have our dog with us. The bus picks up from the Visitor Center, which is at the hotel and we got two complimentary passes to Colonial Williamsburg! We stayed a couple of days before Christmas and had a lot of fun. We will definitely stay here again.
We stayed at the Woodlands for the convenience during Illumination weekend. We had a room with two double beds. I will say Double beds are too small. Equivalent to a twin plus about a foot. The place is a bit dated for sure but was cozy and nice! The balcony on the room was a great added bonus we didn't expect. Lots of kids there while we were there and we were on the same floor with them. Not very good supervision but we ignored it mostly. Would definitely stay again. Got a great price too!
This hotel is very well taken care of. The architecture is immaculate. It's spacious. It's quiet. The decor is lovely. The pillows are perfect! The bed sleeps wonderfully.
The front reception informed us how there will be a big group of children showing up on the same floor. We asked if there was any other rooms available and she was about to move us the the 1st floor I was very pleased with this and their customer service. They had a breakfast bar but I was hoping for more hot dishes. Other wise good food and a variety.
Carpet is old and taped down. Rooms are nice, but bring air freshener. Mildewy smell. Conference rooms are great. I didn't meet the hotel staff.

Great place to stay! Bed was awesome and comfy! Thought about sleeping in all day. Rooms are very clean although dated. Entire staff was exceptional friendly! In town for one night Funhouse Festival. Outside pool looked pristine though did not swim. Definitely will return again and recommend!
A nice, economical hotel. It is an older property, periodically updated over the years. The rooms are clean with modest amenities. The hotel is convenient to the historic district and shopping areas. We usually stay here during our frequent visits to Williamsburg.
Checked in for 1 night on our way through the historic triangle. Convenient location, friendly staff, and the room was clean. The continental breakfast isn't free which was not specified online it seems like it is but it's actually $8.75 per person.
Good enough accommodation for a tight budget. Great location if you love going to Water Country every day of your stay. The hotel is closer to the Water Country property entrance than it is to drive from property entrance to the box office. Breakfast was good but we were disappointed that the evening social was not in effect for monday and tuesday evening. This should have been spelled out in advance when we booked our stay.
I stayed there from 1/20/23 through 1/23/23 and I had wonderful time! I celebrated my birthday there with my husband. The staff there is amazing! They go out of their way to make your time feel special and they ensure that you are comfortable in your room. I just want to say thank you to everyone there. My birthday was amazing because of all of you! God Bless!
Every staff member we encountered were friendly and absolutely lovely! The suite was nice, everything was clean. The breakfast was amazing! The evening reception was a nice touch, but we ended up purchasing a drink because the drink menu was limited. We had a great time and would stay again. Minutes from anything you need!
The staff here are exceptionally nice and friendly. Miss Celine made the best omelets. They had a great selection of food to choose from. Mike and Patrick were so helpful getting me linen when we returned in the evening. You can't teach the kind of friendliness the staff has. The room was clean and comfortable. The beds were extra comfortable but a little small. Queen size would have been better...
The front desk was incredibly accommodating, and the breakfast was so good! The cooks make a great omelet for you, and the choices of breakfast foods is great! The suite is really nice and spacious and has all you need for a family to stay comfortably! You will need to let them know ahead of time if you want the room to be cleaned/changed if you're staying for a few days or a week, as we did. The...
Great location if visiting Colonial Williamsburg. Great value for price, which includes made-to-order breakfast with plenty of seating space. Nice 2 room suite.

We found the accommodations and service to be exceptional. We stayed in one of the luxury suites with a fireplace. The room was wonderful and everything we'd expect of a five star property - fresh, immaculate, well apppointed. We had some items that needed to be kept refrigerated and the front desk had a mini-fridge sent up immediately. Nightly, we had exceptionally prompt service when requesting...
The entire staff from the moment we arrived until the minute we left were extremely welcoming. We definitely will be back keep up the great work.
2020 Christmas was a magical experience. The grounds and town were decorated beautifully. There's hot cidre and a skating rink with fake snow, carriage rides, tours and a Church service on Christmas day. The room was elegantly appointed, and the Whirlpool tub was large and comfy for 2.
Best place to stay if you are looking for a upper class, and historical theme. Awesome rooms, very neat and clean. Bathroom is amazing and big. Hospitality is phenomenal, they provide free items in your room during your stay which i think is nice. Great place to eat is their restaurant there, very fancy, and quiet. All the Bellman were very respectful and nice, always helpful!
This place has all the bells and whistles! We were so so impressed by everything about staying at the Williamsburg inn. The service was top notch from arrival to departure. They did so much to make our anniversary trip feel special. From the flowers, champagne, chilled glass water and perfect turndown service, to the huge bathroom, robes, night caps, and incredible property, this place had it all....
This is by far one of the best places we have stayed. Staff is absolutely wonderful! Very friendly! The housekeeping is amazing! They would always put my daughters stuffed animals organized on the bed which I thought was so thoughtful! Its in a great spot close to everything. All around a wonderful place to stay! Highly recommend!!!

The Hotel is very quite and nice place. We liked the location we enjoy the outdoor pool and there is walking distance restaurant. We loved this place. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. We enjoy our trip.
The room was decent. It smelled and the carpet had stains and there was a little weed in two drawers in the bedroom and people smoking weed outside. The positives were the bathrooms were nice and the beds were clean and comfortable. The staff was also very friendly.
This is an average motel. No breakfast. Towels are wonderful better than most upscale hotels. The room was a little musty but clean. Great location to Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg. Service was almost non existent. We had problems with the room key. Probably would stay again, only due to price and location to Jose Miguel's Restaurant.
The Fairfield Inn in Williamsburg is at a pretty good central location with lots of stuff to eat and do nearby. The hotel itself has been upgraded somewhat recently and doesn't show it's age too much. The only aging thing I've seen is the refrigerators: most of mine and my colleagues' are frozen over and the temperature control doesn't prevent anything from freezing. That probably only really matters...
Nice staff. Good breakfast. Decent gym with dumbbells and cardio equipment. Comfy beds. Good location to eats. grocery store and gas station less than a mile away. Lots of parking and multiple entrances close to parking.
Great experience. Staff could not do enough for us. Room is clean and bed comfortable. The hotel was in an excellent location! We are very pleased.

This comfortable hotel is very close to Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg, both of which were our destinations. Ms. Michelle at the front desk Wednesday was terrific. She was kind enough to provide a bottle opener which I forget at home. Ms. Michelle also recommened a Mexican restaurant about a 1/2 mile away. It was terrific. I recommend this hotel.
Rooms were very clean, breakfast was the best...ie your biscuits are always fresh an moist. Staff was fabulous. Hotel is located within walking distance to the mall. Red Robin, Cheddar, are in walking distance. Pool was open although we didn't use. We spent our days at Busch Gardens. I would gladly stay here again. Special thanks to all the staff.
Great value! Courteous service, clean and comfortable rooms, central location and big breakfast for American standards. Kudos to cleaning staff who found my kids favorite stuffed animal behind and brought it to me when we checked out! 👏👏
Room was real nice and very updated .The only reason for the 4 stars was the room had an item left in front of the night stand on the floor when we checked in. Staff was friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The lady that checked us in at night was extremely nice ,she was also working the breakfast the next morning. The pool wasn't always clean out with lots of leaves floating in it. The location...
Location was near many Williamsburg attractions. Room was comfortable. Service was quick and efficient. Staff were knowledgeable about the area and helpful. Breakfast and wifi were included.
An absolutely wonderful weeks stay here!! Breakfast was terrific every morning. A very clean upscale location at this Comfort Inn. Our room was excellent and we had no issues at all. Don't forget your FREE newspaper!!
