We did a walk in booking Traditional property, staff very friendly and helpful Room quite basic a little on the small side and shower rather compact. However clean, tidy, good location and all that you need Breakfast was tasty and the table set up and layed out with some food for our arrival. Nice mix of bread / cheese / eggs (cooked to your request) cereal / fruit and drinks More than happy to recommend

The drive up to the Hotel and the old bazaar area is amazing. It is incredibly steep and the road is of cobblestones. The Hotel is off the main steep road down what at first sight appears to be a small alley but is actually a road. The Hotel is made of stone and has been brought up to 21st Century standards The Hotel is small but very comfortable. When we arrived we were immediately presented with a jug of water flavoured by lemon and cucumber. The Bed was very comfortable. the room is small but sufficient. Breakfast was in the front foyer very delicious. The one staff member was so helpful and friendly. Indeed when we were leavin my wallet fell out of my pocket. 2 hours into our drive to Tirana it was found and we received a call from the hotel. We returned and recovered the wallet intact. This is a great hotel if staying in Gjirokaster. Wifi is available and free.

I stay there for 2 nights in may 2014. this is a fairly new,refurbished place, located in an old house,with very nice. rooms a very clean, shower is good, locations is great. delicious breakfast , the owner' daughters.she speaks albanian & italian and a excellent english. free wifi is very good and host family are very very kindly. I left my laptop cable in the room, He(host) was delivered to the durrus hotel.(far from 100km) This is a really lovely hotel. All in all really good value for money and a great experience. so I can only recommend.

Really like this place , brand new opening, hostes are amazing nice, run by the family itself !!! Rooms are nice and well equiped Sitúation is perfect to enjoy the city Lots of restaurants a round with local food and local prices. Breakfast is home made with local products, eggs cheese rice pudding Bread coffee, all perfect !!!

Berat We visited to attend a multicultural festival organized this season. Hotel booked by booking. The first impact was as expected once managed. The hotel's interior is a contemporary treatment of typical houses of Berat. treated in detail, everything made of wood, floors, windows and even luminaries. We had booked a double room overlooking the promenade. A wonderful sensation when we heard the sound of jazz music in the background during the last test before the concert. Loved every detail of the room interior and the scent of wood predominated in the room equipped with all the tools that it takes. You could feel the cleanliness and orderliness in every detail of the room, typical of citizens of Berat. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast with traditional food, such as plum, cherry, quinces marmalade or creamy rice with milk. The staff is very polite and willing to recommend attractions to visit. Highly recommend for cultural weekends in Berat!!

Wonderful, clean and well appointed hotel, traditionally furnished and decorated, full of character. We loved the location .The breakfast was huge and so delicious, served on a beautiful deck.Very friendly and helpful staff

Very nice hotel in old town house with good infrastructure (air conditioning, Wi-Fi). The owner is always available in case of questions or issues. The Corso and all sights are just a fee steps away.

Staying at this historic property really made our trip to Berat. The hosts are very friendly and hospitable, the room comfortable, and the breakfast delicious and generous. The location is perfect for exploring Berat and there are many nearby restaurants to choose from.

Amazing, traditional family run hotel, the hosts were very friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. The decor and in reception and our room was authentic and the price was very affordable and breakfast was first class and tasty and plenty of it! The host even dropped us at the bus station to get our bus at 1pm - very thoughtful f him , both he and his lovely wife made us feel at 🏠 home. If you go to Berat, then this is where you need to stay, you’ll 🥰 love it. It’s about 10mins from the bus station, in the middle of the sites in town, quiet and so convenient for restaurants an just under the Fort, which is a 25min walk to the top behind the hotel or take a taxi up. When I return in the future, I’m booking in advance, not to miss out staying there! Thanks again for making my trip memorable, also this is the first time I’ve ever written a review - just felt it was well deserved and again such a nice family hotel 🏨
