This hotel is Exellent, we reserved this hotel for our wedding guests for 5 days. This hotel is small but very cozy, very nice, very typical Berati architecture, very clean, everybody was very nice starting from the front desk, the manager Majlinda, the cleaning lady very lovely, traditional morning breakfast with home made liko and jam, fresh eggs and fruits, the did laundry for us, cleanse the rooms...

Good location close to the city center, really nice and accommodating personal, really good price, nice rooms and bathrooms with everything you might need. They also serve you a really nice breakfast. Close to shops and restaurants. I'll come again

Nice hotel in the heart of the old town. Nice traditional style rooms, with a comfy bed and good bathroom and shower. Staff were friendly and even alerted us to tickets for the Çobo Winery harvest festival (which was amazing!). Breakfasts were pretty good, and the terrace view over the town is great.

Albanian Hospitality at its finest. The wonderful host explains everything and shows you the beautiful room. The Raki, wine, sweets and snacks are there to grab whenever you need it. Breakfast is home-made and exactly as per your wishes. If you are in Berat, or close to Berat, please book this hotel room. The host will make sure you would have wanted to stay more Nights. Julian

We had an amazing stay in Amalia Boutique Hotel in Berät. The room was really nice and well equiped, the bed really comfortable. Nice views of the town. The host was so so helpful with his reccomendations.. And the best part is the varied breakfast, with all the amazing organic products. Highly reccomended

I highly recommend this hotel. We stayed here for 10 days and felt so cared for and at home. The hotelier, Pettrage, was so welcoming and generous. The location is perfect, and the breakfasts are nourishing and beautiful. We were there for Easter and they even gave us little dyed eggs! It was so sweet. Such a nice place to stay! The room is of high quality and the bed is super comfortable. The breakfast is delicious and the best is the host who is very friendly! He gave us tips for berat and even other places in Albania. I would rate 6 stars

Just one night is enough to tell Albanian people is one of the kindest, in this hotel they treat you like you are friends from long time ago. Also the house is beautiful and you will DIE with the breakfast which is awesome 😎 I will definitely go back

It’s one of many citadels on the hill surrounded by walls, typical to this region. The walks and sights are really nice, but apart from a few small churches (most are closed) and a lovely icon museum there’s not much to see here. I am not sure sure if all this is worth the rather steep climb - I’d say yes, but if the weather is good, in the morning or in the evening :)

Very nice and large castle. It takes more or less 2h to visit all the spots. The entrance was free and the restaurants inside are not overpriced. Inside there are some horses for tourist walk but please avoid.. To arrive there you have to walk 20 minutes from Berat on a steep road under the sun so just remember to bring a bottle of water.

It’s a free tour, which is already amazing! I highly recommend to go around 5-7pm, when the sun goes down and you can enjoy a nice sunset! Plus the hike up there, it’s pretty steep so if you do it under the heat, it’s tough! You can also go with the free local guided tour, they go up with you, walk you around the castle and show you a lot of spots: the mosque, the churches, the viewpoint and explain...

Great experience no tickets needed it’s free. Well preserved castle so much history. Great views of the city from the castle. You can drive all the way to the top plenty of parking just be careful the streets are narrow.

We drove over an hour specifically for this place and it did not disappoint us. Beautiful site. Habitable ancient castle with narrow streets. Occupies top of the hill with strategic views on surroundings. Cozy inside. Below is an ancient village worth visiting too.

Just an amazing feeling to be staying at the castle itself! Would suggest this place to anyone. Plus the owners are very welcoming and they have the best restaurant in town!

I had a delicious dinner in the middle of the pines with a great view of the magic lights of the city of Berat. The room was so quiet and beautiful. The service professional and the staff really welcoming.

The restaurant serves phenomenal food. Try the Berat Olives, they are life changing. The menu opens with a full page of traditional Albanian food, translated into English. I've eaten here three times on three separate occasions and I'm always impressed
