Unlike the bad reviews I had a good experience just because I get to the airport 2.5 hours before my flight- things were smooth and they were even accepting & scanning boarding pass on A4 sheets both black & white & coloured. You are about 1.5 miles (2.2 km) from Skanderbeg Square. The footpaths are extremely busy, and although there is a bus stop for the L15 (40 ALL per ride), they can be packed out. Although they gave me a different room typology from the one I have booked (which it was also at a different building) they were quick to change us to the right one. My third visit to Albania and stay at the Prestige Hotel. Friendly staff certainly makes you feel very welcome and the rooms are a good size and comfortable.
