Amora Hotel Brisbane

Stayed here for 3 days/ 2 nights for a work conference that was being held at the hotel.
I have to say I was super impressed with everything. The conference rooms we used were great. The accommodation rooms were also great. We ate breakfast/ morning tea/ lunch/ afternoon tea and dinner on-site each day and absolutely enjoyed it all. Well done to the kitchen staff!! The location was perfect, 3 min walk from central station yet quiet.
The biggest praise goes to all of the staff, reception staff- housekeeping staff- wait staff- function staff- restaurant staff- bar staff, no matter what staff member that I had an interaction with, they were courteous, helpful, accommodating, professional and genuinely friendly. I didn’t encounter one single staff member that wasn’t exceptional. The staff are an absolute credit to the hotel.
I would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel whether it be for business or pleasure, it was a truly wonderful experience.

Great stay for 3 nights in august 2023.

The rate was better than others in the city and it was only an 8 minute walk from queen street where I needed to be so I booked this hotel.

I found out when I arrived there is ongoing construction but honestly It was not disruptive to me at all. I was at work all day and did not hear any noise the days I was in the room. Some parts of the lobby are being renovated but again its no issue.

Staff were very friendly and the room was very spacious and comfy. The bathroom was well equiped and shower hot.

Recommend staying here.

When I arrived early, I was very fatigued due to being on a last minute business trip. A big shout out to Raquel at the front desk who greeted me warmly and offered me a bottle of water, which I appreciated since I travelled without mine to lighten my bags! I noted her high level of professionalism and ability to put me at ease. I was able to drop my bag and head back to the centre of town for meetings. I recalled that I had also stayed at the Amora in December 2022 with a work colleague.

The hotel is presently undergoing renovations which are being done with the utmost consideration of guests.

The outdoor pool was pristine , so I was still able to workout while the gym was closed on the first day, due to the upgrade.

On the second morning I was able to use the gym, which is very clean and has a range of options for working out.

I found the hotel to be an excellent base from which to work and attend meetings.

The internet is fast and the room spacious.
Did I mention the train to the airport is a mere 100 metres away ?
25 mins on the air train to the domestic airport, which made everything smooth re the logistics.

Excellent hotel stay. Clean rooms, friendly staff, great amenities, and convenient location. Although the gym and spa were undergoing renovations, the staff kindly provided a complimentary access card to Anytime Fitness. It would be greatly appreciated if they considered including bathrobes and slides to enhance the overall experience. Highly recommend.

Service was exceptional. They allowed me to use the stairs to access my room as I have severe claustrophobia. A staff member named Cooper walked me up and back down the stairs a few times and was incredibly polite and empathetic to my situation which makes me want to come back for my next trip. Rooms were lovely and clean, staff were all friendly and the beds were comfy! Definitely will return.

I spent 14 days quarantine at the Novotel. Considering the difficult experience it was, the staff at the hotel were amazing and helpful throughout the whole experience.

Rooms are comfortable enough. Slightly dated and could use a little freshening up but clean and spacious. Basic amenities are included.

I may be over critical considering I spent so much time within the 4 walls of my room, however overall experience was positive.

Staff are super friendly here. The bathtub was definitely the highlight for me... so sorry for your water bill! The vibe at the pool area could use improvement.. no swimming allowed and all the guests just kept pacing back and forth like antisocial zombies. A poolside bar would definitely improved this experience for me. "Hey zombies... tequila shots?" The food gave me some serious nostalgia.. it was just like my high school cafeteria food!! It did land me in the hospital for food poisoning but you can't have everything. The security was definitely superb - military and police officers everywhere! Reception forgot to give me a room key so I did feel a little stir crazy after my two week stay.
