Oaks Sunshine Coast Oasis Resort

Really enjoyed our 2 night trip with a 3 year old and 18 month old. Great location. Food at the restaurant was delicious. Front of house staff all friendly, polite and professional. Restaurant staff great fun and attentive. Grounds and pools are the major attraction. Well kept and clean. Good for younger toddlers too. Lots of shade. Playground jumping pillow was great! Didn’t get time to try any mini golf/ volleyball but next time for sure.

Our room was a little tired but clean and had all we needed - loved our view of the pool and grounds. Internet was very slow but not what we were there for.

We have just spent a wonderful 5 days at this resort. Our kids had a fabulous time at the waterpark and when we could get them to leave they also loved the mini golf, jumping pillow and the pool and spa area. It was an easy drive to visit some of the major attractions and the beach was also a short walk away.

Great little waterpark, the on-site restaurant was really yum for dinner. We didn't bother with buffet breakfast as it's nice to head out to a local Cafe as there are so many around the area. The only thing that let's the resort down is that there is no playground (only a climbing net thing) so If you have a toddler they can't really use it, it needs a little playground with climbing swings and a slide. Also a BBQ area would be good too. Once the waterpark closes at 5 and the jumping pillow closes also there is nothing to do at the resort for kids, except eat or watch TV.

Located walking distance to the beach and the town, this is a family hotel with all types of amenities (pool, mini golf). Beautiful grounds. Breakfast was not included and 25$ Cold hot dishes available, cereal & juice is not bad; busy on weekends (7~9am). Room is clean and quiet, staff are friendly and helpful, ckeckin was a friendly experience. Recommend and would stay there again. Very convenient.

Don't believe the bad reviews- we got home yesterday and had an absolute excellent time. After booking in a last minute haste I went back and read the reviews and was a little worried but that all went away on arrival. Yes it's true the resort wasn't built yesterday but it isn't at all run down or dirty its very modern and maintained. Reception staff were super sweet and helpful and even let us check in 3hrs early! Our room was great we stayed in the executive family room with 2 queen beds and a huge bathroom room number 833 to be exact and it was very clean tidy and fresh. The food at the restaurant is great and was what I'd expect at a family friendly accommodation there is something for everyone. The water park was heaps of fun yes it has been used but it isn't falling to pieces it's in better condition than wet and wild on the gold coast. The water park is safe and the play areas are all secure so as a parent you can actually relax a little bit too. The staff were all very attentive and friendly. I can see a residential side to the resort so maybe that's the units people were complaining about being run down or retirement village like but we didn't have anything to do with that side as we stayed in a regular room and were completely satisfied. We loved our stay with our kids (6 and 3) and for sure will be back!
