It was alright, beds were fine, at least for our cabin. Went there for school camp! However, the rooms needs more attention to cleaning, someone spilled gummy bears under my bed, it looked like as if it has been there for a long time, please check under your beds guys! Food was.. ok I guess, but breakfast eggs need some working on, they were flavour less, try to get some less dry rice maybe? Hash browns tasted good but gave me food poisoning sadly, well I got that cleared out in the bathroom-no further detail. I've seen reviews about uncleaned sheets on beds, but for me, they were clean.. I think.

The staff were super friendly. The place is clean and very cosy and comfortable. It's in a nice quiet location. And at the price they offer it is a ridiculous deal.

Me and my mates stayed here for a night, expecting it to be just a casual night stay, but that for sure was not the case. It was actually a lot better than expected, 2 bedrooms but 8 beds in total! Great cleanliness in all the rooms, working fridge, microwave, and stove.
We got a radio in our room so there was a great bit of music in the background that we could relax with. Beds were clean and well made, and we all had a good sleep here. It's very amazing for a "2-star motel."

Simple amenities, affordable place to stay. Room was already warmed for us when we arrived after dinner. Reception open late. Good for a family looking for a cheap base from which to enjoy Canberra and its attractions.

Very.much over priced and pictures look nothing like the accomodation very very poor just like South Village Caravan Park Fyshwick and the office people very arrogant and not helpful at all.

Good sized rooms, very comfortable. Helpful staff were able to provide an earlier check in time which was really great. Very clean rooms and in a wonderful location.

My husband, myself and family all stayed at the Carotel hotel. The rooms were comfortable, clean and great value for money. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The location is a little out of town, but there are plenty of shops and restaurants a short drive away. The outdoor facilities were very disappointing, and the reason for only giving 4 stars. The BBQs were dirty, the outdoor chairs all covered in bird poop, and the table filthy. The pool was closed due to cold weather, even though the days were 22 degrees! This made it harder to take advantage of the beautiful setting.

Family group of 4 adults and 4 children staying in Spa Villa 413. Pros: - Designated parking directly in front of the cabin fit for 2 vehicles - Large open grass field outside - Friendly and helpful staff - Dickson and Watson shops all within 5 minutes drive away. Petrol station less 2 minutes away - All the necessary amenities to make it feel like home: Fridge, Cook top, oven, grill, plates, pots, pans, utensils, kettle, etc - A/C with reverse cycle for heating - Comfortable beds: Bedroom 1 had king size, Bedroom 2 had 2x bunk beds (good for 4 people) + 2 single soda beds in the lounge room - Jacuzzi was a nice touch - Affordable, considering our large group Cons - 2 or 3 light bulbs needed replacement as they were not working on flickering - Heater is a hit and miss. Works most of the time, but can stop working in the middle of the night. Overall, a great place to stay and I would do so again.
