Hyatt Hotel Canberra - A Park Hyatt Hotel, Canberra1 / 50

Canberra, 120 Commonwealth Avenue, Yarralumla 🧭 Map
Historical building right next the the central parliament quarter. Spacious layout and enjoyable intimate state rooms.
A very elegant and beautiful hotel with history. The seafood buffet on Friday night was exquisite and breakfast was amazing. Best poached eggs one could wish for. Even the more casual eatery just past the hotel lobby provided a delightful experience on our 2nd evening there. The pianist played the grand piano, art works and the garden views snatched from windows added to the ambience. The best hotel...
I didn’t stay. I just had a fancy afternoon tea. It looks like it’s from a movie. The food was on big platters and we had our own really kind helper. She was really nice. There were scones, jam and cream. And small bamboo shaped boats of food. This was for my birthday and it was beautiful. Everyone was so kind. I don’t think this could get any better
I have stayed at the Hyatt Hotel Canberra numerous times and this hotel never disappoints. The hotel has a historic charm to it and it never gets old. From the minute the front door opens, to check in, to enter the room, it has always been a delight to stay at the Hyatt Hotel Canberra. The rooms are well appointed and spacious and have all the amenities one can require. The buffet for breakfast has...
I would like to provide a more comprehensive and professional review of my recent hotel experience: During my stay, I found the breakfast options to be somewhat limited considering the price paid per guest, which was $45. In comparison to other 5-star hotels, the quality and presentation of the pastries were not on par with expectations. Additionally, the comfort of the king bed provided in the room...
Beautiful Art Deco. Lovely rooms. Very quiet. Great Service. Comfortable beds. Good food selection. Room Service has no idea what each dish is all about. Sadly the young girl was way out of her depth. Having said that, it really is a great place to stay and wonderful after a long drive.

Room was clean, bathroom was nice, heating was brilliant. However, lack of shower pressure, slow wifi with unreasonably expensive upgrades and uncomfortable pillows. Great staff, comfortable enough stay but improvements could be made.
The room itself was fine barring a bit of an issue with the water pressure in the shower. I would like to raise an issue that the hotel doesn’t advertise nor do the staff mention until it’s too late. The hotel waits until you have already entered the parking garage for you to notice a sign saying that parking runs at $20 a day. At no point was this mentioned by staff I spoke to, it is not on my itinerary...
Rooms were spacious and clean. Bed is nive and comfy. The shower was strong and and clean. Location is good and close to restaurants. You can pay $20 for parking. The only downside is the corridors are quite dirty and looks like could use some cleaning.
Great location in the middle of where restaurants are and right next to the bus depot. Rooms are really dated and in need of an upgrade. Even the hallway carpets were dirty. Room showers are poorly designed such that the floor always gets wet. So many other better options on North Bourne that I doubt I'll be back.
Cool 60s/70s wood panel and brass styling. Reasonable price. Could do with some modern features - the card readers in elevators were all temperamental, no usb/charging ports near the bed.
Excellent. Location, rooms, service. Breakfast is a great spread. Rooms are clean and well-equipped. Comfortable bed.

The stay in the 2-bedroom apartment at Peppers Canberra was exceptionally pleasant! The spacious and well-appointed accommodation provided a comfortable home away from home, making our experience even more enjoyable. The hotel's cozy ambiance, attentive staff, and comfortable amenities added to the overall delight of our stay. Highly recommended for a memorable and relaxing experience in the city....
Great spot to walk around Canberra. Room are clean shower is hot. Bar cocktails are delicious. Breakfast is excellent value and very good. Staff are all helpful and friendly.
Fantastic heritage building hotel. Love love love! I was so relaxed and comfortable. The staff were fantastic. Everything was wonderful and I wish all my hotel stays were like this one. This hotel had the advantage of not being a high rise building, and it made the experience better too.
This accomodation was top notch. Amazing staff always smiling & helpful. We were upgraded to a bigger room which was magnificent & so warm during the cold nights. Staff went far & beyond for all our needs. Close to everything & within walking distance to the City Centre. HIGHLY RECOMMEND & we would love to return!
A beautiful and modern hotel in the heart of town. Very quiet and presentable, clean, tidy and well functioning. The room was spacious and had great amenities. I ordered a room service breakfast and it was delicious and a quick service. The staff were friendly and professional. Faults: We had 3 adults in one room and the room was only replenished for 2 people (2 towels, 2 glasses etc). The pull out...
We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Peppers Gallery. The rooms are nicely furnished, spacious and have a palatial feel to them. Parking is a little inconvenient around the corner however understandable given the ACT government’s parking restrictions. Good access to a nearby restaurant and bar which was an added bonus. Would definitely come back!

Great accommodation with friendly staffs, affordable price, convenient location, modern decor and very clean bedding.
Luxurious rooms with plenty of space. Very quiet, clean and maintained. $20 buffet breakfast at Marble & Grain was excellent value for money, hot and flavourful food.
very nice hotel, perfect location clean and spacious room, friendly staff, great experience. Parents-in-law were very impressed ? well picked!
Loved the two bedroom apartment. Clean, new and spacious. Good location. Accommodated our whole family and was a lovely space to come back to every evening. Price was reasonable. Take note that they charge 10 dollars a day for parking unless you book through their hotel website (which is more expensive). The hotel restaurant served good steaks.

We were fortunate enough to have the Fathers day brunch this year and oh boy it did not disappoint. Bubbles on arrival, a wide selection of beers for the men in our lives and the most delectable spread of food. All made incredibly special by the attentive staff. What a lovely morning/afternoon. Hats off to you Ram and team. Yum!
A comprehensive hotel with great rooms. The restaurant caters for all times of day and the food is amazing. Staff are incredibly polite and courteous. Stayed for a work conference for a few days and had no issues being in the hotel most of the time. Plenty of spaces to sit and have private conversations and also great spaces to share larger groups. Will stay again.
I stayed at the QT because I had a very early flight to catch the following morning. Arranging a taxi from the hotel to the airport was easier than it would have been from home. The QT is just another hotel I've stayed at.
I’ve previously stayed at the QT Canberra hotel and really liked the spacious room and the views. Went out last week for dinner and absolutely loved the food. The service on the other hand… was slow, and stuff was an attentive which is such a shame. Because the food was so good!
Very nice room with a view of the lake, good amenities (dyson hairdryer was appreciated), and really nice quality shower products. Great location, only a 10 minute walk to Canberra centre and good restaurants. Dinner at the in-house restaurant was tasty (I had the steak), my only complaint is that when sitting outside for dinner there are no tables at the right height for eating.
Went to the restaurant for dinner Tuesday 17 January and had the best service from Sarah. Not only was she upbeat and welcoming, she worked spectacularly with the other floor and wait staff. The meals were terrific, steaks cooked to perfection. Sarah and staff made my friend and me feel welcome and provided the perfect interaction a customer could want. Congratulations QT.

We stayed here 11 years ago, and it hasn't changed at all, which is not great. It needs updating. Very tired and shabby decor. Bed was comfy, but there were kids running amok up and down the hallways without supervision, the pool and spa had no water, unusable, the menu was very limited, breakfast was either over or undercooked, and the bathroom wasn't clean. The terrace had overflowing bins and ashtray...
Great location, only 5 minutes walk from where I work in Canberra. The room is spacious but the layout could have been better with the TV sitting on top of the cabinet with the minibar followed by the desk, then on the opposite side of the room is a couch, but the couch is opposite the desk, so the TV is at an angle. I also had an issue using my mouse on the desk as it has a glass top, so an optical...
A pleasant overnight stay. Rooms were clean and tidy. TV in the room was old, small and the remote was not very responsive. Wouldn't bother with their buffet breakfast, pretty ordinary for $34 pp and a barista made coffee is an extra charge.
Great location, and a modern feel. Friendly staff. Check-in was great. As a dad travelling with his son, I spent less than 5 minutes at the check-in desk. This was ideal and perfect. The room is well-furnished and very modern. I do wish however the TV was slightly bigger (for families) and the bar fridge was slightly bigger. But, I understand these locations are normally used by politicians and people...
Good location just a short walk from bars, restaurants etc. Nice hotel overall. Very warm when walking in to the hotel with a lovely fresh scent in the air. Staff members at reception could be friendlier. Rooms require a bit more attention to detail for cleanliness as there is mould and build up in the grout especially the floor and the silicone requires replacement. The bedding is a bit odd with the...
The location of the Rydges was perfect for us. Close to main roads to get us round Canberra but not busy. Large quiet rooms. Modern bathrooms. Very nice staff. Undercover parking with lifts straight to our floor. Very clean and tidy. Comfy beds. Close to plenty of cafes and restaurants in Manuka. Definitely on our stay list for next trip to Canberra

Vibe Hotel Canberra
Canberra, 1 Rogan Street, Canberra International Airport 🧭 Map
This hotel is walking distance from the Airport with no roads or bridges to traverse (about 400 meters from the airport exit) and is fairly new, clean and serviced 24hrs.
The ambience is calm with a clean environment. But it’s the architecture that I fell in love with, it felt like I was in a futuristic-Gatsby-like place. Nearby, you can find a fuel station, an electric car charging station, the airport, and a dreamy mountain view. The service is top-notch. Definitely recommend.
So easy to walk to from Canberra Airport, straight out the terminal and about a 200m walk!! The staff were very friendly, the room service meals were of good quality and the accommodation itself was modern, clean and nice! The only negative was, despite the air conditioner being very powerful and getting the room to the right temperature, with the vent being close to the roof, you couldn't really...
Honestly the best I've been to!! Stayed for a week for a conference hosted at this venue. Fantastic service overall. Staff would come in each day to give the room a quick clean, remake beds and clean the bathroom if needed, always spotless. Food was well done, no complaints regarding the food, good variety. The only negative I have about this venue is that the public bathrooms on the first floor (specifically...
I enjoyed my stay here. The Staff honestly were so friendly, helpful and polite. I've never had a better customer experience as a hotel guest. The only thing I'd like to pick at is Vibe needs to take more detail in room cleanliness. It's small things like dusting, what appeared to be a drink spilt on the carpet. Aside that, the room was tasteful and modern. I would stay again no hesitation but I do...
Well no doubt the hotel was awesome, even though the food was great too. But I had a very bad experience with one of the receptionist here. The guy name Ricky, he was so rude. The moment we entered this hotel without saying hi/hello or even how are you . he told me to grab a trolley and take your stuff out from the car. That was so rude actually. He then process the payment and not even a single smile...

Great property. Restaurant/bar in atrium. Tropical feel with all the green plants. Rooms are comfortable (albeit a little bit dated). Great green initiative for provide $10 vouchers (for redemption at the restaurant) for not having to change bedsheets/towels daily. Reception can be a little bit slow during busy check in and check out periods
So very happy. From the check in to the room and restaurant this place is amazing. The spa suite is comfortable and excellent for the price. The staff were super accommodating and professional. The service I. The restaurant and bar is 5 star. The food simply amazing. Highly recommended.
After a disastrous previous night at an AirBnB, I found the Pavilion at a very reasonable price. Check-in prompt and courteous. Easy secure parking. Lovely atmosphere with the central atrium instead of gloomy corridor. Room itself is a tad dated but no worries. Enjoyed the room service which was tasty and quick to be delivered. Can open window for some fresh air and a comfy bed. All in all, a pleasant...
This place was AMAZING!!! The beds were extremely comfy and clean. The room was well designed and aesthetically pleasing. The staff were so pleasant and lovely, very attentive, particularly with my dietary requirements...
Pleasant welcome on arrival. The room was of a good size and well laid out. We especially liked that it was at the room was at the back of the complex therefore on the quieter side. Canberra, 39 Limestone Avenue, Braddon 🧭 Map
The property has old world charm and has very good sized rooms. It’s location is excellent in relation to the airport, main attractions and the city centre. I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years and frankly don’t look at other options. It was handy to the venue of the dinner we attended.
This is more feedback. The decision makers need to better respect the heritage and history of this hotel and actively promote and embrace it. It's a no-brainer that it would be good for business. It feels like Mercure bought it and tried to turn it into another generic motel. While there are glimpses of the hotels charm and heritage aesthetic on display, Mercure doesn't seem to want to be a custodian...
It was an older place but had lots of charm to it, I ate in the bar and the food was average pub food but nice. It did seem a little expensive but I think thats just Canberra. The room was clean and comfortable and access to most places was easy. Not far from the rail too.
Really appreciate having pet friendly rooms, even if they are a bit tired. But charging for guest parking on top of an expensive room rate is highway robbery. A coffee pod machine or plunger in rooms would be an improvement.
Great location to War Memorial and central shopping district, however we would not recommend Mecure, Limestone ave. We travel regularly and are Accor members. This property was shabby, some aspects were dated and I would say run down, which was really disappointing for this chain of hotels. I called Duty Manager into the dining room on the first morning as Buffet breakfast on the weekend was entirely...
Stayed over the Easter long weekend and had a wonderful time. During the Easter period there was kids hour (4-5pm) of free hot chocolate and homemade biscuits. They also had kids activity of colouring which my toddler loved doing every night. It would be good to have colouring table every day during the school holidays not just the Easter period. They also have 2 fish tanks on both sides of the building...

Can’t speak highly enough of the service and the room value. $119 per night. I’m actually shocked. We stayed here in a last minute situation while we had new flooring going into our home. I’m staying in an outdated caravan park for double the price per night tomorrow and I’d rather stay here. Clean, modern enough and spacious easily fitting the four of us. Great beds and pillows! This place is good value for $ paid. After an initial hitch in getting confirmation of our phone booking the staff went out of their way to ensure our stay was excellent. Nice practical hotel. Easy bus and taxi access to city. Golf course next door. Small outdoor swimming pool. Rooms a bit old but comfortable. No security locks on doors. Hallway noise is louder than should be.
Neat and Convenient for watching games at Canberra Ballpark due to the easy stroll to the park. The deluxe queen room had 2 queen sized beds with plenty of room to walk around them. Modern, clean and spacious enough. Restaurants within the hotel are great options and lots of restaurants in walking distance. Underground parking was easy and convenient with lifts that can go directly to the hotel room floors.
I've staying over the road in the Little National Hotel, which doesn't have a restaurant. As the hotels are part of the same group, you are recommended to cross National Circuit to get breakfast at the Realm. The breakfast was fine but I wouldn't recommend the coffee.
Cannot rate this place more highly. Whilst it is not in the centre of town, it is well located to Parliament House, the lake and a host of other attractions. The clincher for me apart from the well equipped and comfortable room was the fact they provide soy milk as well as regular milk for your coffee provisions. The internet speed is amazing which was super handy for my meetings. I have been to Canberra...
2 night stay was not expecting the size of the room. And they had milk that was decent portions for morning coffee. The staff were very helpful. The bash wash, shampoo etc smelled magnificent!!

Absolutely superb We stayed in a Blue Gum Villa and it was amazing. Spotlessly clean and huge bedrooms. We love this tourist park. Really spacious 3 bedroom cabin and so many outdoor activities for the sporty kids to do! Quick drive into town for parliament learning and shopping. Would be nice to have the games room open all year round- it looks like that is only open in school holidays? And the pool is FREEZING! Which was disappointing as the kids always love to use the pool wherever we stay. The laundry...
Fantastic amenities, camp kitchen was great to use, especially with the cooler weather at night. It’s central to most things, has a great small playground and other sporting facilities for the the kids to play. We Will totally be coming back in the not to distant future, it was a great getaway!
Exceptional caravan park. We have a motor home and the amenities were great. Fantastic camp kitchen, restaurant and bar also on site. Everything very well maintained. Staff were so professional, friendly, helpful and efficient. We have e-bikes and were able to ride on footpaths or bike paths all the way into the War Memorial quite easily. Definitely recommended this park.
The park is great in terms of amenities like camp kitchen, pool, tennis and games room. The bar was good for drinks but the food was nothing special. Had a very dated cabin which was quite small and uncomfortable, although there are more newer bigger cabins if you can justify the expense. Location was great, not far from most attractions. I would stay here again (but in a better cabin).
we went to watch the rugby, the accommodation was close but also comfortable. The extra amenities were more than any other caravan park. the restaurant was the best!

I enjoyed my overall stay at Ovolo. The whole vibes of the hotel is so fun and I love the interior in general. They offer a lot of free amenities and the service was good. I cannot wait to go back! Honestly the best place I've ever stayed at. Everyone from the gentleman who took my call to the lovely ladies at reception and the staff at the restaurant were so friendly and helpful. They even gave me complimentary wine and free dessert! The architecture is stunning and really thought out. I wish I had stayed longer to be able to fully appreciate all this hotel has to offer
We had a fantastic stay at Ovolo niche Canberra. The lolly bar on arrival was a great touch. We were made “super guests” which came with cake, cocktails, breakfast upgrade, and late checkout. I have never had a hotel experience like it. It was fantastic. I wish we stayed longer! Also the mini bar being free.. wow. Will definently stay again and recommend to others!
Simply amazing. We and our bulldog were made to feel welcome and special from the moment we arrived. Alena at reception was friendly and attentive, and there were many bookings in a wonderful experience. Our room was ideal. Lovely ambience and decor. You can tell they have put a lot of effort into the feel of the place and it feels great. Very modern but understated. Service was impeccable from reception staff. I stayed at your hotel over Easter and would happily do so again. The room, while somewhat dated, was comfortable and clean. There was a pleasant leafy outlook. I had asked for a quiet room and you kindly arranged that for me. The staff were helpful, friendly and professional.
Dated rooms, ours had missing tiles in the shower. Just clean enough but certainly could be better for the money. Very helpful and friendly staff and there’s lots of good restaurants nearby.
Location is good, close to lots of eateries. Rooms were spacious and they had undercover parking. On the negative side the mattress was old and uncomfortable and the bathroom was mouldy. It definitely wasn't a 4 star hotel room.
We would stay here again for sure. Rooms were clean and hotel all smelled lovely. Free parking with multiple exit passes given. Such a good location central to so many food options. And not far at all from canberra tourist attractions.
Loved the location. Central to a lot of shops and eateries. Room had a fridge, microwave pod coffee machine. Bed was very comfortable. Quiet at night We checked in a little earlier than 2. Lady on the desk was very helpful.
Check in staff are polite and genuinely friendly. Rooms are beautiful and clean, inviting and relaxing. New air conditioning and finishings have made this a fantastic place to stay. Would absolutely come back to stay

Reception and cleaning staff are amazing. They make you feel like you're at home. They also have this delicious café at the bottom that is a must go and see. Close to the bus interchange like literally 1min walk and like 2min walk from the main mall and restaurants in the suburb. So it's a great location.
Great location being beside the shopping centre. Spacious 1 bedroom apartment with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Lots of areas for walking and good to have a look around. Underground parking is 2.1mt clear and guest parking could be outlined or signed a little better. Other than that I think I'll be happy to stay here for the week while I work away from home.
This inexpensive hotel is good for cheap business travel if you have business in Tuggeranong. It’s not convenient to Canberra really. I stayed for 3 weeks for business and while my room was serviced daily it consisted of making the bed and changing the towels. After three weeks it could really have used a vacuum and a wipe down.

Rooms were nice, clean etc. The only problem I that the carparks are not monitored so they fill up with people going to the pub. Leaving you driving laps of the streets trying to find somewhere to park for the night.
