We stayed in an apartment for 6 nights whilst my husband worked nearby and I worked from the room. It was very clean and spacious for our requirements. The kitchen was excellent and had everything I needed to cook simple evening meals.
Staff are warm, friendly and helpful. The Savoy Day downstairs was a bonus and well worth the visit. Location-wise it was excellent and it was easy to walk down to the waterfront and the Salamanca markets. I would definitely come and stay again.
The only negative was the bed - it was just to squishy and soft for our liking.

I was very happy with my one night stay at Quest Savoy (main historic building). It is ideal for a first timer to Hobart due to its proximity to the main shopping mall (which also has a Woolworths off it). There were ample cooking facilities but there are so many eateries around most people won't want to use them. There is no restaurant on site, but if you are wanting to treat yourself to a hotel breakfast, the more recently opened (but way more expensive) Movenpick next door has a hotel breakfast.
For those who like a window that opens, you may be disappointed. Due however to the fact the windows were firmly melded shut, it was quiet anyway!

I recently stayed at the Quest Savoy for a total of four nights in Room 1—three nights prior to my tour with Under Down Under Tours and one night following the tour. The apartment was spacious, exceptionally clean, and well-equipped with full kitchen facilities. The bed was very comfortable, and the hot showers had great pressure.
The property is excellent value for money and ideally located—just a short five-minute walk to central Hobart, yet situated on a quiet street, making for a very comfortable stay. The apartment I stayed in is located directly opposite the main reception building, across the road, and is accessible via two staircases.
I highly recommend Quest Savoy and will certainly choose to stay here again on my next visit to Hobart

We stayed for 4 nights - What a great location so close to everything - Constitution Dock restaurants only 5 minutes' walk Supermarket one block away and the bus to travel around Hobart at the door. Was so easy to return to the airport from here as well. The service from the team was excellent gave us great suggestions for restaurants each we tried all of them and they were spot on for tasting Tasmania's fresh produce.

Firstly and most daftly -Parking is 500m away and costs you every time you want to use your car.
The apartments have no lift and the stairs are very skinny so you better be fit to get up with your kit.
The apartments look like they were last renovated 30+ years ago so you have all the trappings you never wanted.
Staff are friendly and the location is good are about the only two positives.

Stayed one night in the Annex building in a one bedroom suite. Please note that there are no elevators, so guests would need to carry luggage up the stairs. Location is central.

I stayed in a one-bedroom room on the B floor of the annex for three days.
The three female staff at the reception were all very kind.
The sofa bed was big and the room was cleaned well.
However, the bathroom door was not well fitted.
If there is no cleaning on Sundays, I think it would be good if all towels other than bath towels were left out for two days by Saturday.
The location is great. Thank you for a pleasant trip.

Good location if you want to explore the city. Can be noisy at night as you’ll be staying in the middle of the city.

The hotel location is located in the centre of Hobart city where I can explore it by walking, have car parking place, lots of restaurant choices. My room has a quite large kitchen, we cooked our dinner. Staff are very friendly and very helpful.
