Hotel Northbridge

An absolutely awful dinner! I ordered steak with vegetables and pork ribs with chips. I specifically requested the steak to be medium, served with mushroom sauce. However, the steak was well-done when it arrived, the mushroom sauce was sour, and the vegetables had sand in them. The ribs were dry and overly salty. I don't understand why a hotel would serve such disgusting food.

Ordered room service when I arrived, it never came. Room felt unclean with an old musty odour. The duty manager had to turn on the basin tap to get hot water in the shower. Wasn't game to try the old dirty spa. The seats of the chairs were stained with who knows what? Then ordered dessert from room service and it was delivered with no cutlery. 1 wine glass and 1 coffee cup in the room for 2 people.

Unclear how this is a 4 star hotel. Staff is never at reception, extremely outdated decor in the rooms, stained chairs. Hot water took about 5-10 minutes to arrive, didn’t bother trying the hot tub as it looked extremely unhygienic. Connecting to wifi was a joke with a limit of 500mb per day! Have never been in a hotel/hostel that limited the amount of data a person can use. Will never come back.

Was unfortunately not a great experience here. No WiFi in the room , was completely outdated barely functional 2 style log in style program that seemed like it was created in the 90's. When I complained about it not working, staff had no way of fixing problems. Tv did not work ounce haha ,reported it to front desk first day , was told they will look at it , never fixed it during my 3 nights stay. Had to leave the hot water tap running for 5 mins to get it hot and don't bother turning cold tap on otherwise U loose all hot water hahah. 1 power socket in the whole room. I know it's an old hotel in a great location so I was just hoping it would have a bit of modern conveniences in offer for the price you pay.
