Great place ! We went during monsoon season’ so it rained a lot whilst we where there (don’t go in Jan -February ) otherwise the staff were friendly, the rooms were immaculate, some condensation which comes naturally after rain.
We stayed here for 4 nights on holidays, the resort was clean and tidy. We had a fast check in after a long day of travelling. The rooms were a little smaller then anticipated, but we made it work ( 2 adults 2 single beds). Pool was nice and good temperature, swim up bar was great too. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Shout out to two staff in particular, Cam and the younger lady with the tats...
Overall the rooms and resort was good. Staff friendly enough, rooms clean and the pool area looks great. However we were very shocked to find cocktails stop at 4.30 and there is no “happy hour” around the pool. We got in the pool at 4.35 swam straight up to the bar to order and told cocktails stopped at 4.30…. We were very shocked and annoyed as we only got in to drink cocktails at the swim up bar
Staff here welcomed me in a professional friendly manner. Each encounter with staff really set a positive tone for this hotel. My room was comfortable and clean. Lovely grounds, poolside was quiet, lush gardens. Good value for money. The only downside was the cleaning staff often parked their cart outside my doorway.
The facilities and grounds are absolutely beautiful. The room was fantastic and that bed was like a cloud. Wish we'd booked for longer!! We loved the pizza, which is able to be booked online, and the staff were really lovely. Pool bar is awesome and good prices for drinks. The pool is area is good and we were always able to find shade. Lots of good spots for children to enter and exit the water safely...

The resort is beautiful. I particularly liked having a private pool and outdoor area. The main pool is stunning. There was a very nice relaxed atmosphere throughout the resort.
Enjoyed an amazing 7 night stay in a two bedroom apartment with my Adventure All Stars team. Loved the generous size, luxurious rooms & the massive pool was beautiful!!! The resort leads straight onto the beach which was the perfect way to start the day with a morning walk. Will definitely be back. Thanks for your hospitality!
Amazing from start to end. Greeted by happy staff at reception, glass of bubbles while we checked in. Room was spacious, well appointed and a comfortable bed. The jacuzzi and BBQ on the roof was perfect to relax in private. Great location just out of the main area, beach access to an almost empty beach. We didn't want to leave!
Stunning location and beautiful venue! We stayed for 5 nights in the 2 bedroom apartment with plunge pool and it was HEAVEN. Beautiful rooms, great facilities and overall just stunning. The big pool in the middle of the resort was fun to swim around and we loved the swim up bar. Would definitely stay again. Thank you!
For anyone that has negative things to say about this place obviously take advantage of their privileges and have expectations that cannot be met. The sea temple was amazing. The staff were so nice and easy to approach, the facilities were great and so relaxing! It was the cleanest hotel I have ever walked into. It was just so welcoming altogether. Next time we go to port Douglas if we do we will be...
Beautiful environment for families with children to have time out. Love that it's away from mainstream but Mossman Gorge and Daintree are so accessible.

Bit far out from town centre. Quite location. Not enough places to eat unless you go into town. Otherwise self catering is the best option.
Amazing location! Peaceful. Beautiful resort with lovely pool area. Friendly staff. Received a warm welcome with a lovely breakfast basket and some Champaign! The room was a little bit small and bathroom a bit stuffy, no ventilation and felt like a sauna! Otherwise, everything else was lovely. Would definitely stay here again when in Port Douglas.
Smooth check in with a friendly receptionist who handed us spa gift vouchers and was informative. We drove in the gate a block away and arrived at the property with champagne on the table to celebrate my partner and I’s anniversary. The place was very relaxing and you can hear the waterfall from the pools. We instantly felt at home when we arrived. The Netflix was signed on so we got to chill out on...
Room was inviting and we loved the air conditioning. Having a balcony overlooking the pool was lovely. I loved the Easter eggs as a happy easter welcome for us.
You get what you pay for! The room was basic & cheap enough for the night. Didn't interact with the staff so cannot comment on the service. Unfortunately our room was quite dirty. The fans were dusty & the aircon filter looked like it hadn't been cleaned for months. Due to that we wouldn't stay here again.
We loved our stay at paradise links! The room and bathroom were spacious, the pool and gardens are beautiful and the staff are very helpful and friendly! It’s not too hard to get into town and it is so close to the beach! The bed was super comfy and the barbecue area was excellent. We will be back :)

The pools were fantastic and the fact that the resort was quiet and provided an excellent atmosphere to relax and enjoy some quiet time.
We loved our stay at Shantara. 1 BR apartment was spacious and well appointed with a kitchenette, full sized fridge, shower and spa bath. Our deck connected directly to the pool which was brilliant as we literally stepped outside our balcony and into the pool. Best of all it was quiet and the atmosphere very relaxed without screaming kids around, and it was within easy walking distance to the shopping...
The laid-back, quiet atmosphere and a good allocation of resources such as loungers together with well-set-out and landscaped pools. We booked to stay for two weeks and extended it to four. The staff were extra attentive and personable. Housekeeping did a great job in attending to our apartment - while not being obtrusive. The property is well-maintained, apartments are spotlessly clean, comfortable...
Lovely and relaxing stay We stayed at Shantara for a week in a one bedroom apartment overlooking the main pool and loved our time there. The staff were very friendly, the apartment was a perfect size for two people and had two air conditioners to combat the hot and humid weather. The king size bed was very comfortable and the room and bathroom size were adequately spacious. There was a washing machine...
The Shantara Resort Port Douglas was fantastic hotel with a relaxed and comfortable feel. The 2 pools ensured that you never felt crowded with people and the rooms were clean and tidy with all the amenities that you need for your stay. Having the washer/dryer just outside the room was so convenient and having the private pool deck straight outside the room was amazing! The staff on the front desk were...
Lovely quiet resort with excellent facilities. Our second floor room overlooking one of the pools was perfect, and gave us the privacy we craved, which the ground floor rooms next to the pool lacked. Fantastic day spa run by Nicole, who is an excellent therapist. Very close to the beach and the heartbeat of Port Douglas, Macrossan Street. No screaming kids either. Perfection.

Sitting on our balcony looking at the beach was the best. The included breakfast was superb and the lychee martinis at happy hour were the best martinis ever. Easy walk to the main street.
This hotel is fantastic and the staff are amazing. If I could give 10 stars I would. I really enjoyed my stay here. Craig, the Manager, Deanna at Reception and the restaurant team, including Ami, Elina and Natasha were wonderful. I loved the beautiful breakfasts and coffee that was provided each morning (what a fantastic view too, overlooking Four Mile Beach). I had some lovely dinners at Hi Tide restaurant...
Nice and fast check-in. The receptionist was great, he was very helpful and a nice guy. We stayed there for 5 days, our room was big, bed is comfy, private kitchen, small balcony but can open the door to enjoy the sea air. We had a great holiday there. Highly recommend 👌
Location 10. Right by the beach, moments from shops and resteraunts Staff 10. Everyone made us feel super welcome Breakfast 10. Having a full Cafe style breakfast and coffee of a morning is great! Rooms and facilities 8. They are feeling a bit outdated, but everything was clean and functional. Still a great place to be and relax!
We have stayed at this hotel several times and it continues to be a lovely place to stay. The breakfast area is much nicer now it is opposite the beach. Breakfast selections are good. Would like to see a streaming service on the tv as free to air is limited. Breakfast waitresses are delightful. A lovely relaxing place. Look forward to staying there again next year. Diane
We just stayed for a week and enjoyed it thoroughly. Great location with everything within walking distance. Watching the sun rising over the beach from our balcony every morning was pretty special too. Rooms were comfortable and bathroom nice. The on-site restaurant is wonderful too, we tried them for breakfast, lunch and dinner just to be sure. The staff were all lovely and friendly too, they made...

We had a great 5 day stay at The Reef Club Resort. The location is perfect for the resort is only a short distance to the beach, and PD town centre. Our room was fully fitted with ceiling fans, and big beautiful air conditioners that made our stay a true comfort. Also enjoyable was the pool! We spent a happy dusk relaxing in the pool, which gave us time to reflect and praise our choice to stay at The...
My partner and I visited Port Douglas for the first time and stayed at the Reef Club Resort for 7 days. Our accommodation was very affordable and you get good value. We loved our room and we were pleased with the amenities we were provided for our stay (including, microwave, fridge & freezer, essential cutlery, washing detergent etc). The whole area (bedroom, bathroom, living room & balcony) was all...
The resort was lovely, the rooms we stayed in were clean and contained all the essentials and comfort we needed for a weeks stay and if we ran out the staff were quick to replace it without hesitation. The resort had a pool that was heated and always clean and it was surrounded by comfortable outdoor seats so that customers can lie down and sun bake. The resort was conveniently located very close to...
We loved our recent visit at Reef Club Resort. It was immaculately clean, Lea (at front desk) was so friendly and knowledgeable and the proximity to town and the beach was excellent. The pool was great. We have two young girls and were able to hire portacots at a small fee - so helpful when travelling with children. We will definitely be back.
We had a good stay here. I gave it 4 stars not for the quality but overall was cheap and good value for money probably more 3.5 if I had an option to rate that. Rooms were average bit functional for our fam 2 adult and 3 kids.
Stayed for a week and had a great time. Ask for a room away from the pool and front road if you want peace and quiet. Pool shuts at 9 which can get noisy with kids having fun.. Reception great, bottle store across the road is cheaper than in town! Short walk to town and beach all in all a great stay!

Grand is a good word for this hotel. massive pool so lots of swimming opportunities. We had a double room and it was a fabulous size as I was sharing with a friend meaning we both had a double bed each! Staff were friendly and food at the restaurants yumm- recommend the coconut bread with macadamia butter from Lagoon House for breakfast
I recently stayed at Sheraton Grand Mirage, Port Douglas with my family (wife + 4 year old). We really enjoyed the resort along with all the amenities on offer. The staff at the resort are friendly. The pools at the resort were decently maintained. I really enjoyed the Lounge Bar at the pool. The food at the resort isn't too bad, it is slightly over-priced, but that is understandable for a resort of...
Resort was very family friendly, extremely clean, well maintained and plenty of large pools to choose from. Kids thoroughly enjoyed the different type of lagoons and main pool. Plenty of parking space near our room and very short walks (1-2min) to everything needed at the resort. Loved the refill chilled sparkling water feature around the resort and pool bar house staff were extremely accommodating...
Just finished a 3 night stay at the property. Beautiful location and the resort is extremely well made. There’s no need to leave the property and can easily spend 3 full days here. Kids loved spending time by the pool which has soft sand banks for sand play. Enormous pools wrapped around the property mean there’s plenty of space for all the guests and doesn’t feel crowded even with the resort at full...
Stayed for 4 nights at this resort as a group of 6 friends. There were a few things that we liked and few things we disliked about our stay here. I agree with the other reviewers that the highlight and selling point of this resort is their multiple lagoon pools, cabanas to lounge in all day, swim up bar and direct access to Four Mile Beach. The resort is very large, and we loved that there was complimentary...
What sells this place is the massive pools, cabanas and spending the days by the massive pools relaxing. Could do this every day. The food is alright, ordered room service and came fairly quickly, menu is fairly fancy, had to leave the resort to eat as I am fairly simple. Buffet breakfast was amazing. Room was nice but nothing to write home about. Would stay again 😀 ordering food over the app was easy...

Highly recommend! My wife, 2 kids and I stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment overlooking the pool in January 2023 and we didn't want to leave. Rodney and Glenys who manage the place were lovely. Well air-conditioned with fans too, big pool and lounge area and the location is perfect for families.
Lovely clean, well maintained and extremely well equipped apartments. Lovely big warm pool. My only negative would be that the pool needed cleaning as the floor of it was a bit dirty. Otherwise really good. Nice and quiet and management seemed very nice and friendly.
Great location. We took our 3 teenage grandchildren for 10 nights in 2018. They didn't want to leave, actually none of us wanted to leave. We had a hire car and rearly needed to use it. We hired the onsite mopeds a couple of times and had a ball. Room was clean and spacious and the pool was beautiful. Really hoping to get back to Central Plaza in 2023.
Such friendly staff, well equipped rooms, spacious apartment, great pool area and easy parking. We loved the location, easy walking distance to everything in town. We will be back!!!
We were in a car accident before arriving and Rodney and Glenys could not have been more accommodating - they were absolutely amazing and we are so grateful for their support. It's in a great location, close to the shops, restaurants and the beach and our apartment and pool/bbq area were clean and well maintained. Can't wait to return, and hopefully be more mobile next time :)
Rooms were clean with lots of room. Pool and BBQ areas were great. Perfect for families. Will definitely be back.

Nice, clean big suite. really nice an comfortable furniture on the balcony, conveniently located and within walking distance to good restaurants in the humid evenings
The room itself was beautiful. However, it was terribly cleaned. There is so much dust on the fans, under the bed, and food splatter still visible in the kitchen. Also a very noisy place to stay and don't recommend staying with children due to the noise and no elevator.
Really good size room, fortunately for us we were upgraded to a queen size suite- kitchenette, laundry facilities in enclosed cabinet, Spa bath in bathroom- which opens to bedroom, sofa suite and dining table, all overlooking a huge balcony. The room on first floor looked onto roofline of neighbouring hotel, but there was a good outlook through gardens and to the street. Which really lit up at night...
Quiet place with good size room. Dated. You wouldn't spend time at the pool as it is boxed in around surrounding businesses. No lift and the luggage elevator is dodgy to say the least. Receptionist bolted as soon as we checked in. On the plus it is walking distance to most places. Would certainly not recommend if you don't like stairs.
Suites are fantastic. Spacious and comfortable. Pool area is well laid out and relaxing. 1 minutes walk to everywhere. No reason to stay anywhere else
Don't park your car under the trees across the road. The birds around here have bad diahoera and great aim!

Absolutely loved our stay here. A relaxed, atmospheric resort that has just 10 beautiful, private, tropical courtyarded Villas with an outdoor bath that are also pet friendly. 🥰
Such a great place . The dog loved it , the manager was lovely and it was very clean. So relaxing around the pool. So beautiful
Such a fabulous, relaxing, tropical oasis. We had the best stay at the pink flamingo, all the little touches from the outdoor bath with bathsalts provided, herb garden and honesty bar, huge selection of books and DVDs, communal BBQ and laundry facilities, and the amazing tropical gardens surrounding the beautiful salt water pool.... So many things to enjoy. The grounds are very peaceful and set away...
Lovely fun accommodation in Port Douglas. The villas have a nice big private courtyard with a hammock. The beds were comfy and the room came with lots of little touches to make our stay extra comfy, like sarongs, beach towels and bug spray. The communal area is great with a lovely pool, small bar, shady palm trees, boardgames, books and a pool table and table tennis table. We will definitely stay here...
Beautiful quiet rooms with all the amenities we needed to have a fantastic time. We were able to cook our own meals, relax by the pool and enjoy the beautiful gardens. Marley the dog was super cute! All the other guests were lovely and we felt secluded despite the central location. Having a hot bath in the pouring rain was a highlight, I haven’t been that relaxed in years!

The staff are fantastic! Nothing beats a spa on a balcony after a hard day exploring P.Douglas! Right in the heart of it all, no noise that Sunday night we stayed :)
Very good position. Right in the main village of Port Douglas. Shops, pubs and restaurants downstairs, marina straight behind, markets out the side, perfect spot. Clean, tidy room with balcony, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and basic kitchen gear (plates, cutlery etc). Coffee & tea. Spa bath and shower with good size bathroom & vanity area. No need to pack beach towels, they are provided...
Booked in on a Friday, end of November, for a couple of days. Room was clean, well presented. All good. Then things went pear shaped on the Saturday night. Guest/s in adjoining room partied till 3.00am on the Sunday morning. Management sent someone (we believe it was the General Manager) to quieten them down, but by that time we had had no sleep, so next days visit to the Daintree Forest with an organised...
Very central to Port Douglas with large and spacious rooms that have dated. The pool area only gets a small amount of shade in the late afternoon. You would have more luck finding “Where’s Wally” than a staff member on-site. The reception was closed when we arrived and had to ring to get the code to the safe to get our keys for the room and after that we had to figure out the rest on our own. The...
Large spacios well equipt clean room. Musky smell and slightly dated though.. No one at reception so you are left to work things out yourself. No facilities or services. I did ask a cleaner to clean off the animal poo off table near pool and she kindly walked over with a cloth and handed it to me to wipe myself. Lol.I guess im not useless but ......is not at the mantra standard in compassion to other...
Phone not working in room. Tv scrambling. Ran out of soap and toilet paper and couldn’t get anymore. Would benefit from extra blankets in cupboard. Due to our timeline with tours we couldn’t get any clean towels as reception was closed. I had to walk around to heritage to try and get service. Their reception was closed too. They need better back up for guests that may need help outside office hours...

Basic, enjoyable accommodation in Port Douglas. Room cleaning and towels changing is set for every third day within the booking: can buy more-frequent cleaning to match a normal hotel. Great swimming pool in middle of the complex BUT some antisocial noise which is NOT the hotel's fault because the entrance lobby is clearly marked with "please behave" signage. We had a great time in Queensland and...
Great resort super close to the main street with all the restaurants and shops in Port Douglas. Neat, tidy and well appointed rooms with the pool access ones being absolutely awesome for a relaxing and luxurious time away! Would highly recommend (particularly for those who are keen on avoiding kids)!
There are restaurants, souvenir shops, cafes, and a large supermarket in town, so it's convenient for shopping, so I enjoyed my trip as if I were just living there. Everyone at the hotel was so kind and warm and felt like family. Check-in was at 2:00 p.m., but since we arrived at 9:00 a.m., she suggested we come back after breakfast in town so they could prepare the room for us, and she let us check...
Room not a bad size with a microwave, fridge and sink. Different rooms had various size balconies. A small swimming pool with loungers.
My wife and I stayed here back in October and like some others have reported the footsteps from other guests will drive you up the wall and make for very restless sleep! I asked to be moved to another room was even happy to pay extra as I’m very certain we had a family of elephants above us but the staff couldn’t help (or so they told me).
