Great views and location, free parking, friendly staff. The hotel is old and this can be seen everywhere, from the hallways, to the tiny crt television the room and the old smell. Clean and well mantained though. Average breakfast.

The location and view are absolutely magnificent. The complex has a super potential; plenty of space, good facilities, restaurants with good food, terraces, fun and relaxation. But... In the meantime, only the price is at the potential level, with the rest lagging behind. The hotel is rather a very large and outdated guesthouse. Great View, But Service Fell Short. The view of Veliko Tarnovo from the hotel is stunning, definitely the highlight of our stay. Unfortunately, the room itself was standard, there's nothing special and the sound insulation was poor. We could hear guests in the hallway and neighboring rooms, and some people smoked and talked loudly on their balconies well past midnight. At one point, we even smelled...

Waiters should be more attentive to guest's needs. Since last year, the menu became very basic with only very few bulgarian dishes. They count more for the view than for the food quality.

A location with a wonderful view and a lot of things to do: spa, ping-pong, pool. Very nice serving with good food and dancing music. The breakfast is the same every day, but you can work with it. The cofee not so good at breakfast, but you can buy good coffee at the bar.

Place is amazing. Building itself is very interesting, rooms are great , amazing views. In general whole building seems to need some renovation as it is old. Also food was very basic, breakfast food was cold.

Spacious rooms with a great location, but the air in the rooms is very damp. Combined with the fact that the air conditioning typically doesn't work, and it can be very hard to sleep at night.

Decent, but how other people pointed out, this is definitely not a 4 star hotel. Kind a communist decorated. The breakfast was decent. The location is pretty close to the center but the area is kind of steep and if you have a big car you will have a tough tine parking in their indoor garage. Price of the room i think it was fair somehow

Amazing! Nice hotel, cozy and has a private jacuzzi and sauna. The jacuzzi is initially set at 38-39 degrees, you can adjust it. I recommend this room. The location is very good.

Okay hotel, 75 BGN per night. Quiet and peaceful wooded area a bit removed from the main town, so you may need a car all the time. Good breakfast.

With searing summer heat and too many hotels with only floor fans, we entered our room to very cold ac. We loved it and were able to adjust it easily. There was a small kitchenette and two double beds. Daisy and her husband host this family hotel right in the middle of the old town. The included breakfasts are creative and delicious.

Good value for money and a central location. The first impression you get when you look at the hotel facade and entry is to go back. Rundown is a heavy understatement for how awful it looks. The inside is however surprising: modern and spotless clean, with excellent service. If you're looking for something very close to the city centre it's definitely an option worth exploring given the decent price...

Bathrooms are nice, beds are nice. The location is good. The only downside is how finding the entrance can be a bit tricky. Also, the clock in my room was ticking very loudly.

The double room we were in was good. Good air conditioning. One of the triple rooms had some problems- bad smell in the bathroom and not very clean overall. Staff is nice and helpful.

Tried only the restaurant. The food is good, prices - 👍. The atmosphere is fantastic. There was live music 🎶 on Saturday evening as well as some fireworks. Beautiful garden with bunnies, peacock, pigeons. Kids loved it!

Excellent place to stop. Very featured, I have to say I loved it, but no kettle to make a brew let it down. Fridge made up for it though

The hotel is good, camera is clean and nice. The atmosphere is fresh and relaxed. The restaurant however is a different problem. I don't know who is handling the restaurant but the staff there looks like they wish they didn't work there.

An accidental choice, turned one of the most favorite places! Loved the hotel - everything is spotless clean, the beds are comfortable and the view is gorgeous. The staff is just fantastic - the owner took us to our car, led us back, cooked for us and made sure we were super comfortable. The breakfast, too, was abundant and delicious :) Felt like VIPs overall.

Food & views. We got them both big time. Three times we returned there to get more and never left disappointed. Service is friendly, food is simple and exceptionally prepared and recommended wine Starosel Merlo was a great pairing. All the meals were prepared fast.

The location of the hotel is good, somewhere in the middle of the distance between the old center and the fortress. The room cleaning is done daily and the staff was kind. Unfortunately, the furniture is quite old and some of its elements are missing. They also lacked drapery and the sun was raging inside the room. Service was excelent ! The location is great, you are basically right in the city center. There is no restaurant (you can only serve breakfast, but no lunch, dinner or anything else). The rooms could be bigger AND the shower has no shower cabin or anything, the water goes straight on the bathroom floor which made us slip a lot !!!

A great little hotel in the heart of Veliko Tarnovo, perfectly situated for exploring the town on foot. With restaurants and bars just two blocks away, convenience is at your doorstep. I stayed 3 times here; no better options found so far. Very good location near the main street and main restaurants. Close also to the lower side of the town. 3 parking places of the hotel, which usually are hard to find in town.
