Policies and conditions

- Children of any age are allowed.
Children up to and including 4 years old stay for free when using an available cot.
Children up to and including 2 years old stay for free when using an existing bed.
Children from 3 years old to 11 years old stay for BGN 35 per person per night when using an existing bed.
People 12 years old and over stay for BGN 55 per person per night when using an available extra bed.
Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management.

The hotel is in a quiet location and has a nice view. It has a nice rustic atmosphere and the staff is helpful. However, it is clear that the amenities are in need of renovation.
The hotel is marketed as a spa hotel, but the spa is only open for a few hours every day. Sunday's for example only from 10 till 12. During the week from 4 till 7:30. Furthermore out of the 3 sauna rooms only one was functional. The steam room was turned on once you asked for it. Inside it the tiles were coming off and it had a damp/moldy smell. 2 out of the 4 jets on the Jacuzzi were not functional. According to a guest I spoke to, it has been this way for the past 1-2 years.
The roof in the relax zone started leaking on one of the days. This was dealt with swiftly but it was still unsettling.
Other small but important things:
- the brown (spa) towels often smelled damp and even when we exchanged them for new ones, those also smelled damp half of the time.
- the scrambled eggs for breakfast were gooey and greyish. They had a strange consistency.
- the room temperature couldn't be changed/regulated although the description said you could adjust it between 19 and 23 degrees. We wanted to lower the temperature during the night since sometimes it would be 25 degrees inside the room and too hot to sleep in. We called the receptionist but we didn't get help and our problem was not resolved.
- the food is okay. Not great, not bad, just okay. The options for breakfast and dinner are more or less the same every night.

Love the place. Been there for the first time but it won't be the last. I am not much of a winter person so I will definitely visit again late spring when everything is green and the flowers are in full bloom.

All services expected of a SPA hotel are available. All compartments are very spacious. All stuff is welcoming and smiling.
However the building quality is moderate to poor. The windows are whistling when it's windy outside, the water in the bathroom goes in all other directions but the drains, the interior doors are crappy and you feel they are going to fall apart when trying to close them. I will not consider visiting this place in the winter if the wind passes through the windows...

Great place to stay with children. The swimming pool and spa area were clean and warm, but probably will feel too crowded during weekend. Food in restaurant was delicious. The apartment we stayed in was good size. The hotel itself has several lounges with fireplaces where we spent time playing chess, boardgames or just chilling.

Quite modern technologically - thermostats in the rooms, elevators, central controls, accurate tabkeeping...
Spa area is small and unimpressive - don't have high expectations.
Massage therapist is okay, worth trying.
Food is good, I'd give it 4/5.
Service is very nice and courteous.
Rooms are okay, beds are comfortable, but bathroom gets very wet.
There were significant electricity and water outages while we were there. It wasn't the hotel's fault, but nevertheless they negatively impacted our stay.

Staff was nice and polite!
There weren't many people while I was staying and it was good.
The facilities (pool and sauna, game areas) were working and maintained.
The lobby area with working fireplace was a nice place to stay and relax.
The meals were quite modest on selection but considering the value and time of the year - it was acceptable although nothing to remember.

The rooms are spacious, extra clean and comfortable. The staff is amazing and very helpful. Everything was on par with my expectations. The prices are reasonable and the overall experience is really good.

Place does not reflect the pics on there website.
Hotel was very dirty floors where stained and has not been vacuumed or dusted.
