Love the place. Been there for the first time but it won't be the last. I am not much of a winter person so I will definitely visit again late spring when everything is green and the flowers are in full bloom.

The hotel is in a quiet location and has a nice view. It has a nice rustic atmosphere and the staff is helpful. However, it is clear that the amenities are in need of renovation. The hotel is marketed as a spa hotel, but the spa is only open for a few hours every day. Sunday's for example only from 10 till 12. During the week from 4 till 7:30. All services expected of a SPA hotel are available. All compartments are very spacious. All stuff is welcoming and smiling. However the building quality is moderate to poor. The windows are whistling when it's windy outside, the water in the bathroom goes in all other directions but the drains, the interior doors are crappy and you feel they are going to fall apart when trying to close them. Great place to stay with children. The swimming pool and spa area were clean and warm, but probably will feel too crowded during weekend. Food in restaurant was delicious. The apartment we stayed in was good size. The hotel itself has several lounges with fireplaces where we spent time playing chess, boardgames or just chilling.

Staff was nice and polite! There weren't many people while I was staying and it was good. The facilities (pool and sauna, game areas) were working and maintained. The lobby area with working fireplace was a nice place to stay and relax. The meals were quite modest on selection but considering the value and time of the year - it was acceptable although nothing to remember.

It’s not what it used to be few years ago. Prices have gone significantly up, the level of service have reduced. Food is mediocre, there are cracks on the walls, wallpapers are torn, carpets with stains.

It's a nice, calm, and clean hotel with comfortable beds and a tasty breakfast. Rooms are huge, and u will find all u need. Stuff is very friendly and always helps if you need anything. The hotel is situated very close to Bansko, so if u want, u can take a taxi and go there.

Heaven on Earth! Quiet, cozy, restful place. You could choose between the ski slopes, exploring the magical forest behind the hotel or take a recreational bath in the famous Dobrinishte bath center. Fantastic restaurants around.

Very nice small family hotel, next to the forest, about 2 to 3 hundred meters from the main gate of the complex Ruskovets Resort. Rooms are relatively big with all the necessary amenities and verandas with a magnificent view to the mountains. They have a small outdoor swimming pool, gym, sauna and a steam bath. Breakfast is good, staff is polite and friendly. I definitely recommend the place.

Eating at this place for 15 years now. Same quality and only the atmosphere is just getting better and better. Lovely garden and a wide range of traditional Bulgarian dishes in the menu. No place in the region can compete to such quality and service!

International standart in traditional style but a bit of a noisy, especialy if there's a happening down at the restaurant's garden. The menu is rich, the food is not great, but fair although the service is quite good.

I have never been to Dobrinishte before but we had a great time and "Rafe" made it even better. The owners are very friendly and our rooms were very well maintained. The breakfast was very tasty and different every day. I highly recomend this guest house.

A cheap and easy hotel in Bansko. No thrills and breakfast is suspect but you can’t really complain given our room was less than a tenner each per person. You can walk to the ski lift but they provide a free shuttle too.

Sprawling estate with blocks of apartments, with a pool and sauna attached to one block, available to all, and a restaurant and bar attached to reception. Rooms are basic. Solo traveller. I stay in a one bed apartment and was thankful for the air-conditioning as it was hot outside. Plenty of room for one person and there was a view of the mountain from the windows. I had to buy some microwave cookware as there was no specific items of that kind in the apartment but that was the only thing that let the place down.

Clean and quiet, the staff is very nice and polite. But the breakfast is not great, you have to pay for the Sauna, and they don't clean your room very often. If this does not bother you, I recommend it.

We have stayed here for 3 nights. Rooms are classical 3 star rooms. Employees are really kind. It takes 15 min by walk to center I am sorry to say that but beds are uncomfortable. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality. You can enjoy bansko from this hotel with good price.

A very helpful family staff. We just stayed only one night. We came on motorcycle and the family built a barrier around it by cars. Greatly appreciated. Plus it is not so far from the town centre

Hotel Michel is located near the city centre, 10 minutes walking. It's super clean, the stuff is very nice and the rooms are vast. It is located in a very calm area.

Great location, spacious, clean and well maintained villas. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The reason for the 4 star rating is the dinner which was always served cold. Breakfast on the other hand was very good, a lot to choose from. Another minus is the pool water, not warm enough but otherwise very nice and clean.

Appartements are very nice, except for the bathrooms. Heater in the bath is rather scary. 2 aircos, in the living room and bedroom. Spa and gym are not great. Limited breakfast buffet. Cannot keep the windows open at night due to noise.

Great plac3 ( **** )deserved. Just bulgarian food is not that good. Rooms are great. Wi-fi is working in the rooms but if not, you can ask them to reset the routers and youll be fine. Its far from ski center but you have bus at morning on every hour or less from the hotel.

Nice hotel with average cusine. If it's booked via those sites which offered high discounts, pay attention. Interior is quite old, it has jacuzzi in the pool itself and it's significantly small. The food was average. There were not many things to select. Outside areas of the restaurant are quite insufficient. Definitely it needs renovations.

Clean, nice and cozy. Perfect breakfast. Fried slices or pancakes with blueberry or raspberry or wild strawberry jam can be ordered. Also one morning we ordered a homemade pie with homemade sour yogurt. Unique! Well done to Grandma Sevda. I highly recommend when choosing a place to stay. Arranged courtyard for guests with several tables under a canopy or in the sun.

There's nothing luxurious about this place. But it's cheap and it has no problems with the heating or the hot water.

Our family stayed there for a week. We had booked an apartment with a king bed and a pullout sofa. The pullout sofa was super crooked and uncomfortable and made a terrible noise at the slightest body movement, my baby girl kept waking up every time I sat down or moved in bed. We were a family of 10. We enjoyed all the facilities of the hotel. The rooms were good and clean, the Spa was great, the treatments we had were profesional, the food was good with a large variety and most of all the staff was very obliging and helpful always smiling and kind.

I want to thank coach Max, as for me he is the best coach I have seen there. He taught my brother and sister (she is 3 years old) to ski in one training session. It was also quite fun to ski with him and jump on ski jumps. I recommend him to everyone!!!

The hotel in general is high value for a very affordable price: nice SPA centre, with the best Hamman I know so far, good airco, 24 hours reception, variated and complete breakfast, free parking space nearby. Amazing value for money! Great location, right in front of a big park and a few minutes walk from the center. Big comfortable rooms with everything needed. Breakfast and dinner were great. Staff is very nice! Good location. It seems that they put effort to renovate the hotel, so we really tried to sympathise with them. The thing I find annoying is that they promote spa, when 1/3 of it is not really usable. For the other 1/3, it seems as if they don’t want to set it up, if the hotel is not busy with guests.

This is a picture from the pool in Chateau Vaptzarov. The place also has a gym and spa. The food is also good, especially the breakfast where you have a lot of different kinds of food at your disposal. The rooms have LCD TV's with cable and also Wi-Fi. The employees are okay, but not the most kind employees you can find.

Luckily there is a balcony so we were leaving the balcony door open to ventilate and cool the room down. It is 15 minutes walk from the gondola (that is the only downside of this hotel), there is a shuttle bus that runs every 30 minutes which takes you directly to the gondola and back...

Good quality/ price report. One of the chambermaids was caught searching in the luggage.( not ok at all). It is quite cold in the rooms during the night. The pool & the jacuzzi are nice after a day skiing 😊.
