Antique Boutique Hotel

The hotel staff was mostly polite and helpful, the rooms (although noisy) were clean and had everything that is expected. The SPA centre was okay, with the exception of the low temperature in the sauna, and the door of the steam bath which was not closing properly letting moisture and heat to escape. The main issue we’ve noticed is with the lack of choice and variety of the food; not vegetarian friendly. Dinner and breakfast were not a matter of choice, nor there was any coffee offered with the breakfast (only instant coffee). There was a coffee bar at the restaurant but everything from there was paid. On top of that, one of my friends got food poisoning from the breakfast that we had the last day. There were also collages of photos showing rooms where guests have left lots of trash. cigarette butts, and alcohol bottles making a “bad example” of how rooms shouldn’t be left. This was the first thing we saw as soon as we entered our rooms (same photos are also displayed in the lift) leaving a bad impression of the hotel immediately. The hotel is very close to the town’s centre and it has private parking nearby. Would not visit again.

Upon entering the restaurant, all the staff were sitting on one table, talking. The little girl waitress asked if we are guest of the hotel and gave us only one menu per couple to order from, we argued with her to give us 2 menus and she very annoyed we to look for another one. They only allow food as takeaway. We ordered drinks first, but she refused to take our drinks order, as the drinks are served in a “glass”. So we declined to order anything else, because it wouldn’t be a normal dinner without the drinks!
