Spa was totally worth it if you ignore the jacuzzis. Amazing heated loungers and a boiling hot pool. Sauna was great even if the steam room didn't seem to be working. Includes some ice water to dunk in and even pull over your head. Shuts at 7pm so just make sure you leave time to check it out. Hotel Alexander is a great place to stay - the owners also work there and everything is made with a thought for the clients. The breakfast is great as well as the food on the restaurant. The spa area is clean, not crowded and it is open for hotel guests from 14:00 till 18:00. This is an excellent place to stay!

The "Rose" family hotel belongs with that one particular kind of establishments that is so extremely rare in the modern Bulgarian resorts - both seaside and mountain alike. The kind that is stylish but simple, aesthetic, yet also basic, functional instead of pointlessly complicated. Just a hotel well done. Lacking any plastic decorations, tasteless furniture, preposterous stock photos in cheap frames...

If you are a bulgarian citizen it might be a fair chois, but otherwise I do not recommend this guest house because the owner speaks only bulgarian language and it might be very frustrating to discover that none of your requests were understood.

The location is ok, central, but the owner doesn't speek English and the check in limit hour is a bit to early.

Excellent location in the city center, just 5-10 minutes walk from the bus and train station. The owners are very nice people, they treated me like a family member, and they helped me with everything. The hotel has a beautiful rose garden and a perfect view on the main square, so I could enjoy the folklore dance competition from the terrace of the hotel. A memory, which I will never forget :)

This is a cozy hotel in the center of Kanzalak city. The room was well equiped and very clean. I was pleased to find in my room a free bottle of wine at my arrival. The shower has mineral thermal water which it looks very interesting to me. 👍 The breakfast was decent, you can have free coffee during the day. It is easy to find this Hotel. It is good for Traveler by bicycle. I stayed here 40 Liv. I like smal town. This town is good for me.

The nature around is fantastic. This is a good place for relax, however the building/rooms are kind of oldish. We were hicking and it was not a big deal. We had some issues with the hot water tho.

Good room for the price. Sadly the restaurant was closed and we have to drive to the town for dinner.

Strange hotel. There are no hangers in the bathroom where you can hang your towels. The door has a gap and constantly knocks when there is a draft. I had to seal it with paper. The restaurant has been declared open but not open. And on top of that, private parties are organized for external clients. With loud music for no time. I wouldn't come here again a second time. Nor would I recommend it to anyone

Use the indoor swimming pool (heated to an insane 35° in the winter months!) and various saunas. They have a snack bar and bar just off the spa area where you can get refreshments during your stay. Towels provided free, with bath gown for 5 leva extra. The best spa facility in the area.

Great place, but with 2 cons: 1. Insufficient hot water in the bathroom, despite the solar collectors 2. 1 liter of mineral water - 4 BGN, maybe because of the lack of an alternative where to buy it nearby. Small but important notes!

Super hotel complex! We spent the New Year holidays here. Accommodation conditions are good. Clean room, warm and has hot water. The restaurant and service were also up to par. Delicious food. The staff is top. If possible, I would also visit during the summer season, there is a swimming pool and the place is nice.

Stryama Spa hotel is a quiet and cozy place,where people can rest and restore your body healing power of mineral water and all other procedures that are offered in the complex!

The hotel was amortizer as base material and there is an urgent need for major repair. All the rest is even more than 5 stars.

For people with allergies, especially small children with severe allergies, IT'S AWESOME THAT THERE ARE NO PETS ALLOWED!

Very nice place in a very nice area. The yard is well maintained and it is well suited for children. The people are very friendly. I went there with my girlfriend to watch my rugby team (I was injured). The team was staying at the hotel and we didn't plan to stay for the night. Eventually we decided to stay and there was only one room left. The room was very spacious and warm, the bed was comfy. All and all it was a pleasant stay.

Not the best place to stay but it's fine for a quick holiday. The bathroom is really cold. Bring warm clothes in the winter. No dining available, we had to search for the nearest restaurant.

Its a family hotel with really sweet and polite owners. There is a breakfast included in the price and it’s usually homemade banitza, pancakes (delicious) or smth else. The view is amazing! Perfect for relax. Our room had a balcony and the bathroom was completely renovated.

I never take the time to rate places but wow this hotel deserves it. The hotel is really peaceful and the view incredible. Rooms are basically but nice. This indeed is a quiet place. Located away from the main road and on top of a small hill the hotel also opens a great view towards the Balkan mountains and the magnificent Maragidik peak. The hosting family is very nice and hospitable. Rooms are clean and tidy. The food in the restaurant is homemade and tasty. We enjoyed the stay here and will return again soon
