There are trails right nearby and the Town center is within walking distance! The rooms were a great size and super clean, the lobby and restaurant were huge and the pool, while a little chilly, was a fun break from days of exploring

The breakfast buffet is a great treat offering plenty of choices, just be sure to get there early because the crowd goes fast! The restaurant at night is good too with several traditional salads and meals to choose from (if you don't want to walk to another restaurant)

Everything was excellent. We had a problem with the card and the door, but the staff fixed it very fast and everything was ok after that. The place is very good, clean and comfortable. Highly recommended

The hotel is at the top of the hill and has amazing views of the mountain around and valley below

Place is clean and comfortable. I'd have to advise against ordering the breakfast, as it's available in a nearby place anyway. This way you can diverse the breakfast.

The yard is unique, there are two large trampolines, hammocks, lounge chairs, swings, a slide, many different children's toys, etc. The staff is very good and responsive. Rooms are tidy, clean and smell amazing

Great place in town Tryavna. Its right in the center so you can walk across the old town. Very clean rooms and great hospitality. Kids friendy , with garden and a private parking area.

A very calm place for relaxation and a weekend family holiday. No air conditioning though, hence the missing star. By European standards it is very cheap.

Not a bad hotel with helpful staff, the surprise was in the morning set menu the sandwiches with yellow cheese and ham were lightly baked only on top without adding butter or margarine and the slices were raw

For dinner, I ordered a satlenka from the set menu because I decided that nothing much would happen. I will add the photo, which is eloquent

The room was very spacious, modern design, clean, had the amenities we needed, the view from balcony was stunning The hotel complex has an organized and clean area with animals, which our children really liked to visit there, and there are also outdoor playgrounds for children and outdoor seating areas to sit and relax and enjoy the beauty of the place

I think the staff maybe does not know enough English but there was very trashy explicit music on, and the fact that the hotel is dog friendly is great, but I don´t think that dog owners should have the animal sit in a restaurant chair during service and also eating bacon

We had nice cocktails before dinner and a wonderful dinner with very nice service from the young lady who was our waitress ( Velizara ) Chukara is a great experience. The only reason I would give 4

The food and the service in both of the restaurants was excellent! I would like to mention the desserts at the osel restaurant which were really excellent and of a high standard

Wonderful modern hotel in Veliko Turnovo. So peaceful, has both indoor and outdoor pool. The rooms can do with some more maintenance of the facilities, but the staff are amazing!

Calm quiet place, and a lake with ducks in the yard! You forget about stress. The cleanest place, I've never seen such efforts in cleaning! Two pools, a bit colder than I like, especially for kids. The view is awesome!

The place is in the middle of great nature location. It is big enough and has amusements including indoor and outdoor pools with sunbathing possibilities. The restaurant and the bar have in and outside tables

It's like a high school dorm - old but clean. The pool is very clean and has a water heating system. It is also suitable for cooler spring or fall days because the water in the pool is warm

5 kms away from central market in Gabrovo. The hotel is extremely clean and the staff is very friendly. The theme is green colored and the rooms are decently spacious and well designed

Also if you have joint replacement it is NOT contraindicated to go there! There is also excellent physiotherapy center Physical therapy. Internal medicine, Nephrology

The view from the window is very serene. The restaurant served a delicious complimentary breakfast and I almost always had risotto for dinner because it was made so well

The double room we were in was good. Good air conditioning. One of the triple rooms had some problems- bad smell in the bathroom and not very clean overall. Staff is nice and helpful.

The place is close to the center of the city, the staff was very nice and the conditions were good overall (we had our breakfast there in the two days we spent in Veliko)

Car parking is available upon request, however you have to ask for it before you get there as the underground parking is not big enough to accomodate many cars

Nice place, not really expensive, although for some reason in the bathroom the mirror was put in such a way that you see yourself using the toilet.

What was a bit weird is that there were no actual beds in the room, but mattresses on the floor, however they were very comfortable and the look of it did not bother us that much

With searing summer heat and too many hotels with only floor fans, we entered our room to very cold ac. We loved it and were able to adjust it easily. There was a small kitchenette and two double beds

Good value for money and a central location. The first impression you get when you look at the hotel facade and entry is to go back. Rundown is a heavy understatement for how awful it looks

Bathrooms are nice, beds are nice. The location is good. The only downside is how finding the entrance can be a bit tricky. Also, the clock in my room was ticking very loudly.

The only awkward thing is the shower that has no tub so it can get a bit slippery. Also worth mentioning is the excellent breakfast at pub downstairs

Nice pub in American style, which also has live performances. The beer is good and fair priced. I recommend the CityPub draught. They offer some nibbles, sallads, and pizzas, but overall, the kitchen could be improved

Big portions and very good prices. They even offer some own brand of craft beer. Noticed that waitresses don’t write down customers orders, so if the place is full I have no idea how they will manage all orders properly

Loved it! Great pizza and salads. Friendly staff. I also tried the brunch menu, would recommend the shakshuka. There are keto meals available if you're following a diet. Their own brew is nice, too.

It might not sound great but it was amazingly good. Pig ears in garlic sauce! Yam. (keto friendly) The staff was very nice, and talkative, made me feel at home.

This is one of my favourite bars in Veliko Tarnovo due to its international and vibrant atmosphere, so I get to compromise with the food :)

Poor bad linen, the towels had a dark colour, they have been probably white long time ago. Cigarette smell in the rooms. The reception service was very good but the breakfast lady definitely is not happy with her job

When some other girl asked for water she had the same reaction, like she was being bothered by us. Other than that, the furniture could use an upgrade as it was exfoliating, but all in all we had a nice 2-nights stay

The location of this hotel is very good, it takes around 10 minutes by walking to get to the center. It was really clean and the room was cozy. The breakfast was very good with lots of variety

There is also a small souvenir shop, an outdoor pool on the roof and a conference room. The only setback, in my opinion, is that it is situated between two old and decrepit buildings so the view isn't great

Amazing! Nice hotel, cozy and has a private jacuzzi and sauna. The jacuzzi is initially set at 38-39 degrees, you can adjust it. I recommend this room. The location is very good.

The 5th floor also has a great view of the fortress, especially at night. It is located literally a minute walk from the entrance to the Tsarevets Fortress and the main street in the historic district

I did not tried the restaurant, for eating I recommend Asenevtsi which is about 300 m from the hotel. All the other restaurants nearby are below average. Overall was a positive experience, but far for being 4* hotel

Breakfast was terrible, fortunately there is a kind of bakery linked to the hotel which can be an alternative for the breakfast. Also the lobby bar opens early enough and serve a good coffee

They have underground parking via a car elevator but good luck with big cars to get in and out

The bad things are: no parking space was available when we visited and we left our car at public parking space about 100m far from the hotel. Also, the panoramic restaurant was closed

It is a nice hotel with pool and interior garden but not a 4 star in my opinion.

The pool was quite dirty, and after I tried to open an umbrella for some shade, i found a bathing suit hung on it, so i gave up

The staff were lounging around the pool, and when customers asked them for the bill, they would continue having a chat unbothered. There is a children's playground, but it seems super unsafe to me

Here the taps are broken and unpleasant to the touch, the gasket from the mini-fridge is blackened, not to say moldy, the towels are not 2 the same

I do not want to give the impression of a "house of horror," only that the claims of the place are justified only by location and view (which does not imply any merit of the owner) and everything related to them is exploited beyond the acceptable limit

I don't know how the newer buildings look lime inside, but the main ones where we had the apartment, ate and relaxed are very affected by age. Everything is worn out far beyond the "pattern of time

Place is amazing. Building itself is very interesting, rooms are great , amazing views. In general whole building seems to need some renovation as it is old. Also food was very basic, breakfast food was cold.

Not bad. Spooky window on the past. A bit tired in places. Very good value for money.
