My best friend and I rented a room for a funeral of my Dad. The lady at front desk (Jane) was AMAZING. To allow us ability to get ready for the funeral, she upgraded our room with an earlier check in. She also gave us a beautiful little keepsake in memory of funeral. We can't say enough good about the experience! Room was lovely and clean. All staff was friendly. Great breakfast options (though...
We have stayed at this inn several times over the past few years. The rooms are spacious. The staff are very accommodating. The free breakfast is quite good. The location is terrific. However the cigarette butts scattered near the entrance is not a good look. Picture attached. We mentioned it in passing to the front desk but 2 days later when we checked out nothing had been done about it. It won't...
The rooms are fine, but do need a refresh. The beds are very soft, the water pressure is horrible. The water dribbles out of the faucet and shower, and the shower makes a horrible noise. There was roof leakage due to heavy rainfall in areas of the hotel. The service was the highlight of the stay, everyone was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good as well. Location was reasonable, close...
We had a great stay at this hotel. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel is a bit older but everything is in good condition and well maintained. The saltwater pool is nice, the hot tub was not available while we were there (daily room rate was discounted because of this). We loved the breakfast. The location is great, right off the highway. We stayed here to go tubing and skiing at Snow...
My husband and I were very pleased with our stay here! The room was great, no complaints. All the staff was super polite and nice. The whole hotel was kept clean, including the pool and gym. The breakfast food was fantastic and it was very central. 5/5 recommend and will definitely be back!
Spent three nights over Easter weekend with my family. There were several hockey teams in for a tournament and despite that craziness ...the staff were awesome. So refreshing to be treated like a guest and not an inconvenience. Room was very large and clean ...bathroom was a little dated but did the trick. Facilities were clean and accessible given the tournament. Breakfast was as expected....ladies...

Five Star Crown Ski Resort. The best of the best. We experienced everything: ski equipment rental, all lifts and ski hills, restaurants, hotel, play room for kids, pool, gym, there is also a spa, and plenty more activities to do and have fun. Service everywhere is excellent. All personnel/ staff are kind, nice helpful. I can't wait to come back. Thank you everyone here.
Horseshoe Resorts and Inn is a beautiful place to visit not only in summers but also in winters. I visited the resort with a group of friends and it was so much fun. They offer food services and the staff is really hospitable. We stayed there for 2 nights 3 days where we did the snow tubing and enjoyed thoroughly. There are also skiing and rope way facilities amongst other fun activities to do. The...
I can't comment on the rooms as we didn't stay here.. however we did use the tubing amenities.. what a fun time! We went on a Thursday in the evening and we were literally the only 11 people there! The staff was super friendly and fun.. they took time with our kids asking them if they wanted to be spun before going down the hills.. they workers were all relatively young and all fantastic! My only complaint...
Found the room to be clean. Broken bathroom light was promptly fixed. Restaurant staff at both restaurants were pleasant. However, if you ask for a later check out time or anything extra it is promptly refused. I would say that this is an adequate motel experience, not a resort experience. So charging the premium resort price is just not justified in my opinion.
We rented two rooms for a friend's bachelor party. We intended to have the units for a place to stay overnight and to just hangout after a busy day and to allow us to be close to treetop trekking the next day. My wife and I have stayed at Horseshoe resort on multiple occasions and have loved our stay. This time, the rooms were great and the staff was mostly accommodating and professional. However,...
Nice resort and a great learning hill. No ski lockers or valet though so you are carry all your gear to and from the hill. Also, once at the main lodge, there is nowhere to store your non-skiing gear except for an unsupervised room with some tables and chairs. Most people just seem to leave their bags on tables in the upstairs cafeteria. Tubing hill was great. The Inn was very nice and comfy.

Staff were nice to interact with. Could not give 5 stars due to the coffee maker being super gross on the inside, yellow humidity stains on the bathroom ceiling, and the numerous small/minor maintenance issues throughout the room which did not meet the expected Marriott standards.
Exceptional stay at The Four Points! The staff and managers truly went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, they made us feel like family. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. Special thanks to the entire team for their outstanding hospitality. We can't wait to return!
This hotel truly exceeded expectations! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The managers were also fantastic, always approachable and dedicated to making sure everything was perfect. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it feel more like a home away from home. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable and...
My husband and I love this hotel. The atmosphere and the people at the hotel is amazing. Tonni , Dora Lynn and Dana are the best. The Marriott chain are so fortunate to have them. The rooms are updated, extremely clean and well stocked. We would not stay at any other hotel in Barrie. Thank you.
We were here for a hockey tournament. They were a little overly strict with the kids and would not let us eat pizza in the bar although all the parents were paying for drinks. Bar also closes way too early. Also there was not enough parking. However, the room was very nice, clean, and renovated.
It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The rooms were clean and spacious and the staff was friendly and helpful.

I stayed at the Monte Carlo Inn - Barrie Suites for two nights and had a great experience. The hotel is clean and comfortable, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The highlight of my stay was definitely the swimming pool - it was well-maintained and the perfect temperature for a relaxing swim. The complimentary breakfast was also a pleasant surprise, with a good variety of hot and cold options...
I read the reviews and was worried. But I had a really great stay. I stayed 5 nights. I found the room to be very clean and sanitary, the room wasn’t super dated like other reviews say, and I had their breakfast every morning. Limited, yes. But not bad. Fresh coffee and tea, English muffins, toast, bagels, cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt, danishes, boiled eggs, etc. The pool WAS open. Friendly staff. Overall...
Stayed one night in the king studio jacuzzi suite with sitting area. Room was clean and spacious. The tub was nice and worked well. The wine provided in the romance package was very good. Also loved the Lindor chocolates provided. Staff were very kind and helpful. The bed was comfortable but the sheets were cheap and scratchy. Overall a decent stay and was happy with the service.
We had a one night stay in a king studio jacuzzi suite with sitting area with a romance package. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was nice. Room was nice, large, and clean!! The tub was in good shape and worked well. The wine provided in the package was great tasting but a small sized bottle. Washroom was also nice and decent size space. Nice shower pressure. The sheets were a little...
Since the restaurant is still closed because of the Corona Virus. Breakfast’s are still brown bag. (Fruit, yogurt, muffin or croissant coffee or tea). Staff are very friendly and helpful.
The Monte Carlo Inn is conveniently located just off the hwy 400. The service was quick at the counter. I received my booking exactly as requested. The room was clean and smelled fresh. The sink, towel , shower and Jacuzzi were all clean. I would recommend this hotel if needing a place to stay in Barrie. I did not have breakfast nor eat any food at the restaurant so I cannot speak to it's quality.

Beds were comfortable but the room needs updating. The doors to access the hotel did not lock so non-guests can enter when ever they want. The kids really enjoyed the pool and hot tub.
Room was great, came with small fridge, microwave, and TV. Bed was very comfy! Location is great for those wanting to stay near Toronto, but not downtown. However, we were very disappointed when we came back after a long day to find housekeeping had not cleaned our room. We were not happy to have to go down to the front desk at 10:30 PM to get fresh towels for the morning. Hotel is great value, but...
Only got to stay for one night before bouncing to another hotel. The staff were super friendly and welcoming at both check-in and check-out. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The layout was kind of weird (in a cool way) so I was on the 2nd floor with a balcony but from the parking lot out back I was ground level. I didn't get the chance to use the pool since it closed early the night I was there...
I like this hotel. Stayed multiple times on business. Close to the 400, a couple good restaurants around, less riff raff hanging around than some of the other chain hotels in town. Rooms are clean. Beds comfortable. Good selection of different types of pillows on bed (feather and foam fill) The coffee is awful, but everything else has been fine for me.
I wasn't there for long, however the building seemed well kept, and the staff was helpful and professional. There is an indoor and outdoor pool though the indoor pool was out of service when I was there. My room was in the 'executive tower'. It seemed fairly standard for a hotel room. It had a microwave, fridge and freezer. There were no cleanliness issues noticed at all
We had a good stay at this Holiday Inn, The staff were great, I didn't have any problems there. The grounds and rooms were clean , however I feel that the rooms could use a little updating, especially the toilet , it was too small and looked like it was 20yrs old . A simple toilet upgrade to a elongated model would have made a huge difference. We were there for a Life celebration gathering, and the...

Front desk super friendly. I use to live in Barrie and 2 years ago no way I would have stayed but went back this week and they have done a ton of work. It was perfect. New beds super clean super friendly staff an people all good vibes
When the nearby Travel Lodge informed us they didn't have our reserved room 2 hours before we were to attend a wedding, the Barrie Motel came to the rescue. They had an immediate room which meet all our needs, and even saved us some money. I'm not sure if it needs to be said that a motor court motel is a little less glamorous than even a discount hotel, but it was clean, the bed was comfortable,...
We stayed just one night and it was a decent time. The room was clean and the front desk was polite and helpful. I would stay again and recommend this place.
Decent room size. Very good size bathroom. Could be a little cleaner... bed was OK. Sheets not warm enough. Heater was loud. Slight smell. Overall your general overnight hotel room quality. Would recommend for one overnight stay.

The manager was absolutely lovely and upgraded us to a king suite which was also lovely! Will definitely stay here again. Everything was very clean and cozy.
The room was dated but clean and the staff was very friendly and courteous. The pool was great! The atmosphere was friendly. The hotel is in a fantastic location, close to shopping, restaurants and the beach. The rates were very reasonable and yes, I would definitely go back.
Love this location walk across the street to a few great restaurants. Room is super clean Diane is a great host people are friendly here This is wasaga's secret surprise with great prices We will definitely be staying here again The salt water pool is tiny and nice For my early morning wake up dip We stayed in a tiny room 26 it was delightfully colorful With chairs on the balcony overlooking the pool...
Basic motel but it has everything you need for the price! The rooms were exceptionally clean, and so was the pool and shared kitchen. The ladies running the motel were so kind and accommodating. We would return for sure! Thank you :)
Excellent Motel very quite nice cozy place we were in room 22 would of gave a 5 star except for the air conditioner we couldn't use it as it is very noisy. The pool was excellent clean warm salt water very relaxing. The lady at the front desk is amazing very accommodating as she waited for us to check in as we got there at about 1030pm. The TV in the room is very small but not a problem as we didn...
It's a boutique hotel so there is no bar or no restaurant . The place was modern and clean. All rooms have a fireplace.

Excellent location and very helpful staff! Also, the cottages seemed well sound proofed, we could hear the neighbours music when we were outside but nothing came through the walls when we wanted to sleep. Everything was well cleaned.
Very nice budget self catering accommodation with good but basic facilities very close to beach. Play area for kids. Friendly service and great value for money.
I was very pleased with my visit. Staff is extremely polite and accommodating. Rooms are definitely outdated but is perfect for that cottage feel. My biggest and only complaint is the bed was extremely uncomfortable, slept on the couch!
Always an awesome time! Very reasonable rates, clean cabins, BBQ at every cabin, nice big fire pit. The people here are really nice and go above and beyond. We stay here anytime we are in Wasaga. Super close to the water and all amenities, but not in the middle of all the commotion.
Had a great time. Nice quiet place. The nightly bonfires were nice, and the mgmt were nice to deal with. Constructive: the wifi was not good, but this was not a big deal. The fridge leaked water. There was a puddle in front. We were missing a BBQ which was eventually corrected. Shower stall leaked as well. Despite this, we had a wonderful time and would recommend a try.
My family come here every summer and we have the most wonderful time! The owner is such a kind person, the beach is not to far and there is a wonderful Polish deli and restaurant in the area, the owner is very kind! You have your own cabin with one or more bedrooms, there is a picnic table and grill for each cabin and playground for the young ones and a fire if you want to roast marshmallows or sausages...
