Beds were comfortable but the room needs updating. The doors to access the hotel did not lock so non-guests can enter when ever they want. The kids really enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

I like this hotel. Stayed multiple times on business. Close to the 400, a couple good restaurants around, less riff raff hanging around than some of the other chain hotels in town. Rooms are clean. Beds comfortable. Good selection of different types of pillows on bed (feather and foam fill) The coffee is awful, but everything else has been fine for me.

I wasn't there for long, however the building seemed well kept, and the staff was helpful and professional. There is an indoor and outdoor pool though the indoor pool was out of service when I was there. My room was in the 'executive tower'. It seemed fairly standard for a hotel room. Five Star Crown Ski Resort. The best of the best. We experienced everything: ski equipment rental, all lifts and ski hills, restaurants, hotel, play room for kids, pool, gym, there is also a spa, and plenty more activities to do and have fun. Horseshoe Resorts and Inn is a beautiful place to visit not only in summers but also in winters. I visited the resort with a group of friends and it was so much fun. I can't comment on the rooms as we didn't stay here.. however we did use the tubing amenities.. what a fun time! We went on a Thursday in the evening and we were literally the only 11 people there! Found the room to be clean. Broken bathroom light was promptly fixed. Restaurant staff at both restaurants were pleasant. However, if you ask for a later check out time or anything extra it is promptly refused. I would say that this is an adequate motel experience, not a resort experience. So charging the premium resort price is just not justified in my opinion.

Nice resort and a great learning hill. No ski lockers or valet though so you are carry all your gear to and from the hill. Also, once at the main lodge, there is nowhere to store your non-skiing gear except for an unsupervised room with some tables and chairs. Most people just seem to leave their bags on tables in the upstairs cafeteria. Tubing hill was great. The Inn was very nice and comfy.

When we arrived at the hotel they couldn't even find our reservation. The room was not very clean. The blanket on the bed was dirty. Breakfast was not what it was supposed to be because, apparently, the woman was on vacation. Not what we expected for $225 a night.

It would be great if they become more flexible for guests who had to leave early due to important reasons such as leaving for an early flight or other out of control situations. Staff were nice to interact with. Could not give 5 stars due to the coffee maker being super gross on the inside, yellow humidity stains on the bathroom ceiling, and the numerous small/minor maintenance issues throughout the room which did not meet the expected Marriott standards.

We were here for a hockey tournament. They were a little overly strict with the kids and would not let us eat pizza in the bar although all the parents were paying for drinks. Bar also closes way too early. Also there was not enough parking. However, the room was very nice, clean, and renovated.

Decent place to crash for a night. Quick service check in and out. Good breakfast bar. Have swimming but did not try. Ample parking. Comfy beds, clean washrooms and nice TV and overall clean rooms. The place shows its age and wear outs.

Decent hotel with clean rooms and a central location. However, the breakfast buffet felt overpriced for what was offered. Fine for a short stay, but wouldn’t go out of my way to return.

The room is not big, the facilities are old and under renovation and upgrading, the environment is elegant and surrounded by large forests, the shopping center is right next to it and it is very convenient to eat. Best choice in Barrie. We have been coming back for many years. Staff is super friendly and rooms are comfy. The only thing I am worried about is the insane amount of trash produced at breakfast through single-use plastics. There must be another way.

We stayed New Year's Eve. The front desk clerk was efficient and very polite. Initially we were in a room that could potentially become noisy as it was near the front of the motel, so he took the initiative and moved us to a quieter room. Room was very clean and comfortable.

Staff were excellent. Alarm in the room went off at 6am. Mattress needs changing, sheets and towels need changing as they were yellow. Breakfast was horrendous. Do better for the price that was charged.

There was a full sized fridge, which was great (we brought our own food to save from dining out), the wifi was really fast, and it was much cheaper than nearby hotels. The downside is that it's a pretty basic setup - dated and stale (some wallpaper peeling, for example). But I felt safe, and the location was right off the highway.

As a team our experience was great! They have common areas for the kids to gather and BBQ for the parents to cook. However the beds are very low quality and the towels are thin and very old. I would recommend for teams but not for a family or couples.

It is located on a hill in the town. It is directly off the highway, so access is not bad. There is a large supermarket nearby, so it was convenient. The room felt quite spacious for one person. The inside was clean, so I have no complaints. I recommend this hotel when you come to Barrie.

It's what you'd expect. Nothing fancy. Rooms are reasonable and fairly well kept. The location is good. I did find some potato chips behind the bathroom door from the previous occupant. Obviously the cleaning staff wasn't overly thorough.

Super cheap room. When we got to our room there was toilet paper and pee in the toilet. Our coffee maker had K Cups, but itself was not K Cup compatible, so, no coffee.
