I am not usually a fan of motels, but this was a really good experience. Facility is older but very clean and comfortable. Bathrooms are small but I wasn't there for a spa experience. Stayed here for 4 days on a business trip, comes with complimentary breakfast which was good, cheaper rate. Rooms are clean but the beds are not very comfortable. Towels are in need of an upgrade, feels like 36 grit sandpaper. Appart from that it was a great stay.

This is one of the best Holiday Inns in Canada, with a central location, fantastic staff (Anja is a superstar!), safe underground parking and a great open space pool. Breakfast is decent too, and the kitchen staff is also amazing, especially considering how difficult it is to please everyone during breakfast time when the hotel is the busiest.

Honestly from the time i walked in to the time i checked out i got nothing but smiling faces and respectful gestures from staff. The room was so clean and everything was precise. Absolutely great experience with Accent Inns. Stayed at both their Burnaby and Victoria locations. Great rooms, great staff, pleasure to do business with. Rates were reasonable. An historic Vancouver spot in Vancouver's Downtown East side. Ignore everything you've heard.. it's a very safe place, that we've been frequenting for years. Worth the free Jazz Saturday afternoons (by donation), the good freshlyrics brewed beer & tasty pub grub. Friendly service, decent prices

Location is awesome easy to get every where however you cant have a weak stomach. Its is east hastings. You will see drug use...passed out homeless people...tents.. the staff is great. Restaurant downstairs great. The rooms are small but you get what you pay for... great place to rest your head on a budget.

It's perfect for REAL explorers or adventurers who love traveling and can care less to spend a ton on a room to lay their head. I doubt there are bed bugs since the beds have mattress and box spring covers. And just remember that there are hostel-like rooms and the deluxe rooms are more like hotel rooms we're all accustomed to. It's been a great stay!

Safe and secure, but has/had roaches. The owner/manager apologetically told us this after we checked in. We sprayed our own bug spray along the window sill and all around the door so that we would not leave with critters in our bags. It worked; we left clean. Places to eat to are all close by. The most important feature in a hotel room for me is the bed. And I wish the bed & linens were as high quality as the rest of the hotel. Both nights I stayed I ended up sleeping on the floor. The bed is squishy with no support and the pillows are little more then disguised tissue paper.

The Skwachàys Lodge is a nice place to stay in Vancouver. The room was amazing and the staff is super nice. The location is tricky: very close to Water street which is full of restaurants and shops but also very close to a zone full of homeless. We were astonished but in the whole three days we never had a single issue, not even at night.

The room that we stayed in was clean, beautiful and it smells good. It was like a gem nestled in China Town. The people are friendly and thorough and gave us a tour where we can find everything in the hotel. We enjoined the sauna and arts gallery. We really recommend it!!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Victorian! The rooms are very clean, bright and beautiful, the staff are super friendly, and the location is central! Only downside is the parking is a bit of a trek away with suitcases in tow, and it's damn near impossible to get out of! I'd recommend offloading your suitcases before going to park.

Great location to services and a very modern take on a classic building. Rooms are beautifully laid out with high ceilings, wooden floors and walk in robes. Very plush and comfortable bed as well. Staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring my stay was fabulous and relaxing. A nice late check-out of 11am as well!

We really enjoyed staying here. The shared bathroom situation was easy considering we had a sink in the room. The hotel has so much character and is close to all things down town Vancouver. The allowed us to drop off our bags after flying in but before check in. This aloud us to walk the city and explore with out our luggage. Highly recommend.

Very small room, but comfortable beds and pillows. The baseboards in the room were dirty, and the towels had grit and hairs in them. The TV had lots of channels and streaming options which was nice to watch and relax between outings. It was close to everything we wanted. Usually an Uber to anywhere we wanted was about $13, but transit is an option too for those who prefer that

The hotel was very well located and provided affordable parking. We found that it was significantly cheaper than surrounding properties and offered good value. We enjoyed spending some time on the outside terrace on the 11th floor. On-site washing and drying machines were appreciated. It takes some time to get used to the concept of having a shared bathroom with the adjacent room.

It's clean and the location is good. But certainly it does not live up to the expectation. The building is old and it has clearly not being renovated in a long time. Rooms are not only small, but tiny. Staff at the desk is very helpful and friendly.

Room was very small, barely enough space to move around. Room did not have a safe, and front desk safes are not big enough for laptops or tablets, so beware. Elevator had issues. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable and the pillows were firm.

Elevator was broken all weekend so they put us on the second floor in a super small room where the heater didn't work. Second room on the same floor was much bigger and the heater worked. Clean bed. No view. Close to everything including the seabus. Would stay here again but on a higher floor to get a view. Staff are all very nice. The free breakfast is enough to get the day going.

The hotel overall is a beautiful property. AJ at the front desk and the trainee gentleman at the lobby bar were extremely courteous and friendly. The room was beautiful, spacious, and comfortable, and I enjoyed the view of the water. The pool area was nice but disappointed the bar service closed by the time I got there.

Great location if your going on a cruise as cruise terminal across from hotel. Staff very accommodating with all requests. Not a 4-star experience. Nice location, nice bar and restaurant, but the most important part of any hotel should be the beds. Our room had full size mattresses on queen size frames. The mattresses on both beds were rounded so you felt like you were rolling out the whole night. My six year old did fall out in the middle of the night, and it was lucky he missed the corner of the nightstand with his head...

Really good location for the cruise terminal. Staff very friendly and welcoming. The refrigerator in the room (1212) was very noisy. Had a second stay here after our cruise. Had a much better room this time (1007). Again staff were just so helpful and even loaned me a baggage scale to make sure our cases did not exceed or baggage allowance.

Great boutique high end hotel. Service and location outstanding. Beds comfortable and room is clean. Nice bathroom s. Balcony was great to enjoy the beautiful weather. Cafe Medina next door is Michelin rated and off the charts. Locals tip: Vancouver Public library is 3 minutes away. On a nice day, take a beverage and book to the roof top and read amidst a rose garden.

The patio was huge, the bathroom had a deep soaking tub, a relaxing rainfall shower with very good hot water and pressure and the toilet is in a separate room from the tub/shower/sink. Accommodation prices in Vancouver are eye-watering, and this is one of the cheaper options in the central city. I found the service exceptional and the highlight of my visit. The shared bathroom wasn't the issue I thought it might be - I was always able to access it when needed. The room was clean and tidy, but pretty basic and very warm. Great location. Rooms are super clean for being over 100 years old. I heard some rooms have shared bathrooms but ours had it's own. The people running the hotel were all really great. Very friendly and helpful. There was no air conditioning which was fine in may, but possibly could be hot in August. Location was central to everything we wanted to do in downtown. Clean and spacious rooms in a really solid location. The price was very affordable and i would not hesitate to stay here again. The staff was very responsive at all hours of the day and allowed us to check in early.
