Holiday Inn Express Vancouver-Metrotown (Burnaby), Burnaby1 / 50High rating
Burnaby, 4405 Central Boulevard 🧭 Map
I was impressed with the hotel from the moment I entered the door. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The little touches left in my room as a welcome made me feel like my business was appreciated. A nice breakfast brunch was included in the stay which was a nice addition. The only criticism I'd give was the room was marketed as "top floor city view" and my window literally looked out onto...
Nice and close to the mall and restaurants. Staff was friendly! Great breakfast. Parking is tight but we always found a spot. However, there were issues with our thermostat that did not get resolved before we left. Ended up just turning it off. I had a hard time falling asleep in the hot room. Cleaner threw out collectable empty beer bottles I was saving as souvenirs (I get they didn't know but it...
Looks recently renovated so it’s clean and modern. Super friendly people at the front desk, housekeeping and breakfast area on the second floor. Quick note on the light switches, there’s one in the room that’s really hard to find and it controls the lighting above the bed - see the uploaded picture for a tiny black switch next to the wall power outlets. Free parking underground is great and easy...
This is one of the best Holiday Inns in Canada, with a central location, fantastic staff (Anja is a superstar!), safe underground parking and a great open space pool. Breakfast is decent too, and the kitchen staff is also amazing, especially considering how difficult it is to please everyone during breakfast time when the hotel is the busiest.
Breakfast was great, the staff was helpful, location was perfect and the room was comfortable.
I stayed at the hotel for four nights and absolutely loved it! It was conveniently located near everything in Metrotown, and the staff were incredibly friendly. As an IGH Platinum member, I felt really welcomed there. The rooms were spotless and felt cozy. The breakfast was delicious, although I did get a bit bored with the same food after a few days. The only downside was the late checkout; even though...

- cozy environment and convenient location. - 10 minutes’ walking to Metrotown Station, Sky Train. - 5 minutes to Metrotown shopping mall.
Rooms felt a bit dated and stale for the really high price you pay but unfortunately there isn't anything else in the area that can compete. Beds were comfy enough and the rooms were quiet. Good enough for me
Wonderful hotel to stay in. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and clean as well. There was a microwave in our room, which was a great plus to reheat any of the food we bought back as leftovers from downstairs in the Crystal Mall! The hotel itself is situated in a great town center with many different shopping centers surrounding it and malls within walking distance...
Loved the area!!! Sweet restaurants around! The room was roomy (upgrade), but a tad dusty. A light didn't work, but it was fixed the next day while we were out. Unfortunately, the room wasn't cleaned, probably because maintenance was there. The front office compensated us with the breakfast buffet for this inconvenience, which was very nice.
My overall experience was amazing. Liza at the front desk was very friendly and looked after my needs. The hotel staff who brought up some extra towels were very kind and helpful. The room was a bit dusty, but that is completely okay as we did not need to reach those areas. The part that may have been a downside is the parking gates as one has to go around to make sure you are at the hotel gates as...

Rooms felt dirty. The room had lots of exposed rug gaps between entry ways. The curtains had holes. The kitchen was empty except for a cup. For a budget hotel, this was fine for a light stay. I recommend bringing sandals or wear shoes. The breakfast was plentiful.
Service was wonderful. Breakfast was amazing ( please tip these people.. no one does and they work their butts off.) Outside downtown, but lots of quick transit and Free shuttle to Canada Place!. Very clean and hospitable. Extra blankets on request. Little balcony. Yes, it is older - not the biggest tv and i saw a crack in the paint over the shower.. but if you are a real person, looking for a good...
Hotel has a great lobby which is worth making photos with your family. Pretty good breakfast (well.. if you compare it with breakfast in other US hotels, can't say anything about Canada ones). You also get free parking and even a free shuttle to downtown every hour (only one way). Shuttle bus driver was great and provided us with a tour on the way to downtown.
This is a really great hotel to stay in and also quite affordable. The rooms were nice and clean. The location is amazing and close to lots of shops, restaurants, and coffee places. The only thing lacking a bit was the service. The housekeeping staff tried to push us to check out early, even when we didn't have to check out until 11am which was very uncomfortable. The front desk staff were ok, but...
Room was clean, beds were comfy, had a nice little bar attached and the continental breakfast was decent. Good location as there is a gas station across the street along with a few restaurants. PNE is just down the street.
Staff was great across our stay. They made check in quick and osu less for my group including a last minute room change due to needing another bed. Staff checked in a short while after settling in of there was anything we needed brought to our room. Included breakfast in the morning was great :) only complaint is that some of the walls looked like they needed a bit of repair but nothing major.

From check in to getting into the room I felt the great service of the staffs. Especially Handra. She talk to me like an old friend. I was assigned in a very clean room, spacious and it.has a beautiful view. I will definitely come.back and stay here on my next visit. Superb!
My stay at the CASSANDRA HOTEL was a delight. I would like to commend HANDRA the hotel receptionist. She was a most gracious host and very helpful. The price was fair, and the room was spacious, clean and quiet. FRED GALLANT
Room is very clean. Comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Handra explained all the procedure suggested restaurants. Many options where to get food. Great location. I received complimentary snacks. They always check on you to make sure you are okay which I really appreciate because they care. 🙏
Security good. Very nice view upstairs. Customer service is totally great. Explained everything and friendly person. We will recommend surely because of the area is very accessible and easy access to train and buses.
The staff was friendly, they now have electric key pads so there is no need for keys or key cards. Just punch in a code. Now the rooms needs some love. Holes in the walls, baseboards need painting, inexpensive repairs. Bathroom needs to be re-caulked, don’t just paint a spot either on the wall or ceiling. Paint corner to corner. I’m still leaving 4* review since it does seem like they are trying...
For the price and location, really good. Recommended.

The service and food was great checking in was easy and fast staff were very nice. Food was great for a hotel. Rooms were excellent but the tv selection was lacking. Our check in lady was excellent and very helpful if you need help ask for Venessa she is great. Overall great hotel would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay near Metropolis at Metrotown.
This was the second segment of my first travel since Covid. The first was attending a chamber music seminar held at Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA. Element Vancouver Metrotown was the perfect location since her condo was in this neighborhood...

I have stayed at this hotel on business a couple of times now and the people who work here are game changing good at what they do. I love hotel! Great locations with so many restaurant and other amenities in the area. Love that it's connect to a GoodLife and a great Italian restaurant! The rooms are clean and new. Best part is the mini kitchen that I can cook breakfast and have a fridge for snacks and drinks.

I informed the manager about the numerous visible scratches on the desk in my room, giving the impression that the rooms lack proper care and appear old. You shouldn't be disappointed. I have astayed here a couple times in the penthouse and regular room Unit and it was always a great experience. Specially for a stop over if your traveling. Everytime I stay here, an Elvis is walking around😶
Guy named Praneel came from maintenance to fix my electrical problem in 401. Very prompt and quick. I’m really impressed to have great customer service from maintenance. Very nice, professional and courteous. I appreciate his services. These type of staff is a real asset to a hotel. Thank You in every way. 😊
Staff were excellent ... hotel is convenient and parking is free and plentiful Nice room with window that opens for fresh air.
Honestly from the time i walked in to the time i checked out i got nothing but smiling faces and respectful gestures from staff. The room was so clean and everything was precise. The breakfast in the morning was excellent and delivered to my room. I got my money worth in this place and i plan to return anytime i have the opportunity to do so. Good Job Staff and Management.

I never write reviews for places, but after my experience with the North Vancouver Holiday Inn, there is no way that I couldn't. I like the location and facilities. Not very expensive compared to other places in Vancouver. Front desk staff - especially Shima - are professional and welcoming. Breakfasts are amazing. Gym is great. I hope they add EV charging stations and also upgrade the guest rooms with new TV and beds!

My daughter and I went down to shop at Metrotown for the day with her Christmas money. We found this hotel online as we drove down. It is an excellent value and includes a great hot breakfast. Stayed here for 4 days on a business trip, comes with complimentary breakfast which was good, cheaper rate. Rooms are clean but the beds are not very comfortable. Towels are in need of an upgrade, feels like 36 grit sandpaper. Appart from that it was a great stay.
We had an amazing stay at the hotel, the staff were very welcoming and courteous. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The breakfast was perfect. The Metropolis mall was just a 10 minute walk and to commute to other places the skytrain is very nearby. Thank you for the amazing stay 😊.

I have hosted events at this hotel in the past but this was my first time utilizing their accommodations and I was truly impressed. Clean, comfortable, spacious rooms. The housekeeping staff were on point. I have nothing but great things to say about this hotel and the staff are really professional. Highly recommended.
My wife and I booked a king size bedroom with the jacuzzi. The jacuzzi was great. It was huge. The jets worked perfectly. The room was partially updated which was nice. Great location. Clean rooms, bathrooms and kitchen. Lily was great and easy with communication. She upgraded us and let us check in early. 4 star because the listing on AirBnB clearly says breakfast included but once confirmation went through, we got a message from Lily saying breakfast is not included in the rate, only coffee and tea.
Lilly's bed & breakfast is a very lovely place to stay. I am in Vancouver to work this week & it's absolutely perfect. I will definitely be back if we are working in the area again.
The place was very comfortable and close to where we wanted to be. The price was reasonable. The only thing missing was dish cloths to wipe the dishes
Pretty good rooms and nice location, close to the mall, Skytrain, supermarket and liquor store. There is no breakfast my only complain. The landlord sold the package with it. So you must to ask her a discount at least.

My parents appreciated the effort Jane put into getting extra breakfast items for them! (And being able to use the kitchen). She & her husband made them feel very much at home. They enjoyed the chats & warmth. They loved the cleanliness and decor in the bathroom (they kept on saying it was like a hotel bathroom!) and loved the living room beauty & furniture too.
This place is amazing! Such good value, there was a brand new bathroom with a great spacious shower with the overhead as well as the handle. Immaculately clean. Access to living room (with piano!) and kitchen (wonderful kitchen as well, huge) No idea what's up with the negative reviews, the photos are not accurate, they're not of the actual Serenity BNB

Friendly landlord, great location, max. five minutes to 29th Station. Clean, good bed, bathroom is quite small, but it's good value for money. Only to recommend.

We were very pleased that this hotel is affordable and accommodated us with a medical rate. The beds and pillows are very comfortable, rooms are clean and have lots of platform selection on the TV. We will stay here again!
Nice and clean rooms, no breakfast option, You can get food from the burger restaurant on the premises. Good parking, near to main road, accessible rooms. Overall a good place to stay.
Absolutely great experience with Accent Inns. Stayed at both their Burnaby and Victoria locations. Great rooms, great staff, pleasure to do business with. Rates were reasonable. Both locations had a restaurant attached to the building. Laundry facilities could have been better, but this will be my go to place to stay when traveling
Check in staff were nice and friendly! Location is close by the sky train. Room was ice cold (in the best way as it was HOT outside). I never sleep good at hotels/motels and I had the best sleep!
A very good basic motel. Check in was cordial and efficient. Room was clean, quiet and modern. Appliances worked. Beds were soft. Plenty of free parking. No breakfast on site, but there's a small cafe next door. We liked the cute rubber ducky sitting on the bath towels.

The recently posted negative reviews aren’t fair! I have no affiliation with this motel. I travel all over BC in little hide-a-ways like this for my work. This isn’t the Hyatt, it’s a indie inn that has super-friendly staff. The rooms are cleaned every day and the hotel overall is well kept. After 4 weeks in 3 different rooms, I saw one tiny bug in the bathroom (not a bedbug). No, it’s not fancy, and...

I've stayed here quite a few times, in fact I'm here right now. If you can get past the fact that this isn't your typical full service hotel, you'll see that the rooms are neat and clean, the place is quiet, the views are pretty, and you really aren't that far away from much of anything. The stay at Michaels B&B was just perfect - very friendly host, clean and perfectly well kept and outfitted accomodation, and breathtaking surrounding. I would love to come back if I travel to Vancouver the next time.
Excellent! Everything is very clean and tidy! The house atmosphere is great and Michael is extremely polite and welcoming! The backyard with the river is spectacular and I loved sleeping with the sound of the flowing water! I am very happy I chose this place and want yo come back for sure!
The house was very clean and we felt like part of the family. Michael is a great cook. We stayed for 3 nights and each breakfast was different from waffles to omelet to bacon and eggs, and always had a side dish of fresh fruit. Everything was delicious. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We have a beautiful view of the Seymour river in the backyard.
If you need to a place to recharge the human batteries, this is the place for you! The beautiful back yard with the river stream from Mount Seymour is so soothing and relaxing. In addition, Mike was very accommodating and whips up a great breakfast. Thank-you Mike, hope to see you again soon! Take Care!
Michael is one of the most welcoming hosts I have come across who makes sure your stay is comfortable. The property is located in a quite and picturesque part of North Vancouver, a simple evening walk in the neighborhood can be very refreshing. The room was really clean, spacious, and had an amazing view of the river. A 10-minute walk gives you access to public transit which can take you all the way...
We had a wonderful stay. The room was impeccably clean, the bed was very comfortable and the view was lovely! We sat by the river every morning. Michael’s breakfast and hospitality were excellent as well. The proximity to Horseshoe Bay and Deep Cove may have been the best part, the house is on a very quiet, peaceful street. A quick drive in either direction and you find great food and beautiful views...
