Spent $270 for the night. Expensive for not even having complimentary water bottles in the room. And didn't include free parking.
Very good experience. The front desk staff is very good and friendly. I like them!
Such an amazing place with great view from rooms . Staff were pleasant .
The hotel is located in downtown, and you can park for free in the underground parking lot.
The hotel decoration is quite old, and there are few sockets in the room. There is only one socket except in the bathroom. The cleaning is average, and the pillows are high, which makes it uncomfortable to sleep.
This is a rare chain hotel that does not even provide bottled water.
The room we were initially given was next to the equipment room, which was noisy at night. After reporting it to the front desk, we were moved to a larger suite on a similar floor. The hotel facilities are relatively old, but they are clean.
The room is large, with refrigerator and microwave. Very clean too.

Have stayed here multiple times when in Edmonton and the service has been exceptionally phenomenal from the front desk staff to the house keeping staff. A special shout out to the lions head pub and their staff for being so memorable and regular, making coming back feel like home. Definitely five star rating!
Clean rooms, a bit dated but comfy and quiet. The pool area is down in basement level 2, so very far from rooms. Felt very weird down there, no staff, some crumbling structures. Hot tub was under construction and torn apart. Hotel is a good location and affordable, but don't go for the pool.
Stayed last night and my check in was a little bit complicated (on my end). The gentleman who was assisting me was very professional and patient. He was kind the whole way through. My beautiful room overlooked the atrium and was spacious and cozy. The bed was TO DIE FOR comfy! Five stars here for the accommodations but most especially, the kind staff!
Older hotel/conference centre centrally located so easy access for people from all over the city which is nice, what is not as nice is parking is limited and signage for what was allowed and when was confusing, also as I attended an event here directions to the area where the event was occurring were not clear and we thought we had been given bad directions before we happened to find the space. The...
Attending a conference and food was pretty decent but could have had better vegetarian options. Pretty dim, dusty and dank being in the basement ballroom for a full day but I guess that can't be helped. Staff were great, attentive and helpful. Parking was really easy.
The conference facilities are very nice. The room we hired for our meeting was nicely required and everything was working. Nice selection of snacks and the washrooms eye clean. Good job!

We stayed here for 3 nights in September 2024 and we got the Roman theme room. We love it! It has a huge Jacuzzi! Very nice! We were here just to visit Edmonton Mall and the hotel is connected to it. That's awesome! And thank you for letting us checked in early. We really appreciate that.
We booked the Pirate themed room for our toddler, and the wow factor did not disappoint for him. As a 3 year old, seeing a massive sized pirate ship in the middle of your room would be quite amazing! However, that’s where the wow factor stops. For a hotel this busy, they seem extremely understaffed. And the staff that were working were not super easy to work with. Reaching the front desk from your...
Staying in the mall is ideal for a family trip and shopping
A lot happened outside of the hotel's control. Beware of the theme rooms - we weren't supposed to be in one but had to for 1 night. There was a step ladder to get into bed and I ended up falling out. We were fine after getting our normal room.
Staff was pleasant and helpful. Convenience store said open 24 hours but isn't.
Location is the best if you plan on just staying at the mall. We'll be...
The hotel was clean, amenities were great and the beds were comfy. The kids had a great time! What made this an excellent stay was the service we received from the staff. We had already checked out, and chose to keep our bags with the hotel while we spent the day shopping and having fun with the kids. Abrahim of Guest Services got our bags for us a couple of times during the day and when we were finally...
We came to fantasy land hotel to get away from winter for three days. We had a great experience. We loved the themed hotel rooms. The rooms are getting dated but little kids still love them.
The L2 grill got rid of the buffet and their kids menu was not too kid friendly. Just look to eat out in the mall if trying to feed little kids.
Finally we used valet parking. They were great especially when...

Overall it’s a good hotel. Rooms are a bit dated but was clean and comfortable. Walking Distance to Roger’s place. Covered parking, my half ton pickup just fit underneath. Will stay here again.
I recently stayed at the Chateau Lacombe Hotel in Edmonton and had an exceptional experience. The hotel is conveniently located at 10111 Bellamy Hill, making it easy to explore downtown Edmonton. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, especially Eric from the housekeeping department. I accidentally left my electric toothbrush in my room, but thanks to Eric's prompt assistance (and the lovely...
I’m not sure why everyone is posting negative feedback about this hotel. We had an awesome stay here. We stayed on the twentieth floor which is the concierge lounge. Free food and beverages with your stay and free breakfast. Customer service was excellent and the lady at the front desk was very sweet. Checkout was fast and easy. The room was awesome with great views of downtown. I would recommend this...
We came to Edmonton to visit friends and family and watch a hockey game. We had a great stay and hope to return in the future. The location and view were great. We could see Roger's Center from our room and walked to and from the game.
I had a great and memorable staying at Chateau Lacombe. It’s a unique and iconic hotel in town. It’s little bit old but they keep it very well. All the staff are very nice and kind specially the Bellman. He is so kind and welcoming! I had a great view from my room. It’s located in downtown Edmonton.
Extremely nice and caring people. Room was clean and temperature was perfect. Coffee amenities hit the spot as well. For a performing musician who played at the star lite down the road they hooked up an excellent deal as well. Highly recommend!

There's no microwave in our room and some guests are still making lots of noise even if it's quiet time already. However, food was great, service is good and we had a great time staying at the hotel. We'll definitely come back again.
If the food is important on your stay, this is the place to be. The option to have 7-12 breakfast or to extend until 2:30 with brunch is fantastic because you can wakeup late or do any other activity then straight to the restaurant. Both options are delicious, well stocked and prepared to perfection. We tried both the early breakfast and the brunch. Based on the good experience, we decided to try the...
The hotel staff are excellent. They were friendly and efficient. The rooms were clean and well maintained. When we were there, the pool was closed for maintenance. But other than that, we were very happy with our experience here.
It can be tricky to access as it's right on a busy major intersection. Once you're in the hotel is easy to navigate.
Standard conference room furniture and the layout was usable.
Where they shine is with the food and service.
Hotel was nice - close to where I needed to be for work. A little disappointed that they didn’t have an executive lounge or even a market place to buy late night food from. However, they were very kind upon check in and as a titanium elite member they did upgrade me to a massive two floor suite.
I would recommend a couple things: better coffee machines, don’t charge for parking and get a marketplace...
Nice place. Clean. Updated rooms. Efficient staff. A little expensive for me. Similar rooms can be found in Edmonton for considerably less. Don't understand a parking charge when the room price is already high. Conference facilities were good. Lunch was awesome. Breakfast had a couple of mistakes, but I guess that can happen.
