Comfy beds, quiet room, and staff was very lovely. Bathroom was a decent size and showers were good. We were only there for one night, but overall it was a great location to walk to Rogers Place!

I stayed at the luxury suite and it had so much space and had a living room and dining room. It also had a great breakfast buffet and chop steakhouse was wonderful. I love their prime rib. The pool was also phenomenal. But the views where to die for.

Stayed here 4 nights for an event at Roger’s place. The location is great for that - connected with an above ground walkway right to Roger’s place - connected to the Edmonton Center Mall and other amenities. Service was good. Have stayed here multiple times when in Edmonton and the service has been exceptionally phenomenal from the front desk staff to the house keeping staff. A special shout out to the lions head pub and their staff for being so memorable and regular, making coming back feel like home. Definitely five star rating!

Clean rooms, a bit dated but comfy and quiet. The pool area is down in basement level 2, so very far from rooms. Felt very weird down there, no staff, some crumbling structures. Hot tub was under construction and torn apart. Hotel is a good location and affordable, but don't go for the pool.

Stayed last night and my check in was a little bit complicated (on my end). The gentleman who was assisting me was very professional and patient. He was kind the whole way through. It's a nice enough hotel. The connection to the mall is bittersweet. There's a convenience factor of having access to shops, restaurants, and a movie theater without having to go outside in the winter. But there are enough vagrants roaming the mall in the evening to make me a little uncomfortable.

This is a nice hotel. We had a few challenges, in-room phone didn’t work, room service was challenging to order, but the staff was excellent and went above and beyond to help. The location is a little far to the east in downtown, but generally pretty convenient, especially if the weather is nice and you don’t mind walking.

Brunch at the Empire Ballroom is the best in the city. There is no comparison. The seafood assortment is by far ahead of any other brunch in YEG. And the assortment is all exceptional quality. High tea in the Harvest Room was lovely! The food was delicious (scones were TDF!) and our server, Jacob, was the sweetest human ever—attentive and kind. Went here for a work function and as someone who does not drive this location is horrendous to reach on foot. The staff here were nice and kind. The venue looked nice and clean and generally it had a pretty good vibe going on. With that said I didn't have an opportunity to look at the rooms but for a work meeting it was alright.

Fantastic experience! I booked my wife and her girlfriend a night away from the kids. Ike, with Chateau Lacombe, helped me through every step of the process seamlessly. We had an issue with the TV not working in the master suite. Disappointing as we were exhausted and wanting to watch a movie in bed. Rooms were nice and our stay was pleasant. Just a few recommendations: 1) The bed sizes of King were small compared to a regular King. We noticed this when we stayed in the 3rd floor. 2) The line up in the breakfast can be avoided if they organize the breakfast area better (people don't have to go back and forth for spoons, jams, toppings) and add another waffle maker.

I live in hotels for 6 months a year for work, so a solid 3 with 4 in rooms and service is a pretty good rating from me. Breakfast looked great, but there were about 100 people at it so we decided to eat after check out. Room was clean. Pool could use a clean, but lots of users. Staff was awesome and I would definitely recommend this hotel if you have kids and aren't looking for crazy frills.

If you are lucky like I was and are greeted by Bennett at the front desk, then you are going to get the warmest sincere welcome and fantastic service! The room was very clean and comfortable! Good location on Whyte. Hotel is very clean. My room was spacious, warm and comfortable and had a nice view. The free buffet breakfast was pretty good and had a huge selection of hot & cold items. My wife and I travel to Edmonton often and when we do we almost always opt for the Metterra over other hotels. They're pet friendly which allows us to bring our dog travelling with us. Nice little pool and slide for the kids. No hot tub which would be ideal after a long day in the city. Great selection for breakfast. Depending on which side of the building you get, it can be very loud with sirens all night, but we request a room overlooking the parking lot to help with that. Beds are comfy and entire place is modern.
