Was put on a pet friendly floor. No problem with that except the fact that our room reeked of someone’s pet. Not only did it smell like several dogs stayed here it appeared that way as well. Pet hair fills the carpets, as well as our nose. We found it difficult to cope with the smell even with the window let open for the entire duration of our stay. I am not one to complain but this is truly disappointing
This is a great location if you’re looking to check out the downtown Edmonton area, it’s very accessible and accommodating to the ICE District and Roger’s place and only a few stops away by train from Commonwealth Stadium. Unfortunately there was construction everywhere when I visited but this is not something Coast has any control over. Check-in service was quick and easy. All the counter staff were...
Location was excellent, but everything else was mediocre. Housekeeping came the second day and emptied the garbages, but didn’t make our bed. We never saw them for the rest of the trip. We had to ask for towels on our last day. The bathroom needs better lighting and a nicer shower. The pool is lacklustre and the ceiling was leaking liquid into the pool. Bed was comfortable and Toto bidet was a nice...
I have never been disappointed with my experience at this hotel.
They have an excellent understanding of who is staying with them, and an excellent understanding of why (events in the city-wise) their guests are staying.
Their staff is all so genuine and kind to all. It’s always a very smooth check-in.
Day & night staff (concierge and maintenance) are so awesome.
Rooms are clean and comfy, amenities...
The room was very clean as were the linen. The staff was very accommodating and made you feel like you were welcome and not just a room number. The parking was adequate. The room had a bidet and that was really a pleasant surprice, also the seat was heated so that was nice. Overall it was a great experience.
The room was great but they did not have certain things already in place, though you could request most things and they will have it delivered for you.

We stayed here for 3 nights in September 2024 and we got the Roman theme room. We love it! It has a huge Jacuzzi! Very nice! We were here just to visit Edmonton Mall and the hotel is connected to it. That's awesome! And thank you for letting us checked in early. We really appreciate that.
We booked the Pirate themed room for our toddler, and the wow factor did not disappoint for him. As a 3 year old, seeing a massive sized pirate ship in the middle of your room would be quite amazing! However, that’s where the wow factor stops. For a hotel this busy, they seem extremely understaffed. And the staff that were working were not super easy to work with. Reaching the front desk from your...
A lot happened outside of the hotel's control. Beware of the theme rooms - we weren't supposed to be in one but had to for 1 night. There was a step ladder to get into bed and I ended up falling out. We were fine after getting our normal room.
Staff was pleasant and helpful. Convenience store said open 24 hours but isn't.
Location is the best if you plan on just staying at the mall. We'll be...
The hotel was clean, amenities were great and the beds were comfy. The kids had a great time! What made this an excellent stay was the service we received from the staff. Abrahim of Guest Services got our bags for us a couple of times during the day and when we were finally...
We came to fantasy land hotel to get away from winter for three days. We had a great experience. We loved the themed hotel rooms. The rooms are getting dated but little kids still love them.
The L2 grill got rid of the buffet and their kids menu was not too kid friendly. Just look to eat out in the mall if trying to feed little kids.
Finally we used valet parking. They were great especially when...

Overall it’s a good hotel. Rooms are a bit dated but was clean and comfortable. Walking Distance to Roger’s place. Covered parking, my half ton pickup just fit underneath. Will stay here again.
I recently stayed at the Chateau Lacombe Hotel in Edmonton and had an exceptional experience. The hotel is conveniently located at 10111 Bellamy Hill, making it easy to explore downtown Edmonton. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, especially Eric from the housekeeping department. I accidentally left my electric toothbrush in my room, but thanks to Eric's prompt assistance (and the lovely...
I’m not sure why everyone is posting negative feedback about this hotel. We had an awesome stay here. We stayed on the twentieth floor which is the concierge lounge. Free food and beverages with your stay and free breakfast. Customer service was excellent and the lady at the front desk was very sweet. Checkout was fast and easy. The room was awesome with great views of downtown. I would recommend this...
We came to Edmonton to visit friends and family and watch a hockey game. We had a great stay and hope to return in the future. The location and view were great. We could see Roger's Center from our room and walked to and from the game.
I had a great and memorable staying at Chateau Lacombe. It’s a unique and iconic hotel in town. It’s little bit old but they keep it very well. All the staff are very nice and kind specially the Bellman. He is so kind and welcoming! I had a great view from my room. It’s located in downtown Edmonton.
Extremely nice and caring people. Room was clean and temperature was perfect. Coffee amenities hit the spot as well. For a performing musician who played at the star lite down the road they hooked up an excellent deal as well. Highly recommend!

Comfy beds, quiet room, and staff was very lovely. Bathroom was a decent size and showers were good. We were only there for one night, but overall it was a great location to walk to Rogers Place!
I stayed at the luxury suite and it had so much space and had a living room and dining room. It also had a great breakfast buffet and chop steakhouse was wonderful. I love their prime rib. The pool was also phenomenal. But the views where to die for.
Stayed here 4 nights for an event at Roger’s place. The location is great for that - connected with an above ground walkway right to Roger’s place - connected to the Edmonton Center Mall and other amenities. Service was good. The room was ok - it was clean but if feels like could use an update -Tv cabinet was a bit beat up , the mini fridge was missing a leg - so I had to prop a face cloth under it...
It is my pleasure to comment on my wonderful experience at this hotel. My apartment building had a fire and we all had to be out permanently. As a result I stayed at the hotel for 1 1/2 months. To make the situation more challenging I'm also disabled with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. The hotel was a fabulous place to live during this difficult time.

Previously known as Sutton Place, the Sandman Suites is priced very competitively. When all Marriott properties were $250+, this property provided good respite.

When I walked into the lobby just after 3:00pm I was surprised to see no line up at the front desk for that time of day. The lobby area was nicely decorated with Christmas trees and had nice décor. The service from staff was fine and they accommodated my preference for a room location.
When I walked inside my room I noticed the carpet right away. Most hotels have renovated to wooden floors except...
If your coming from Calgary not a bad place to stay. It’s on the south side of Edmonton so very easy to get to. Came for a concert that was downtown and there is a bus stop about 10 minute walk that takes you almost to Rogers Place which is another 5-10 min walk and save you money not having to park downtown.
The area of the hotel is fairly industrial, but at night it was quite and there is a decent...
Chose this hotel as it is pet-friendly and close to VCA clinic.
Rooms are dated and could use a deep cleaning to perk them up. Updating light fixtures and switches would help too. Sheets and towels were clean and adequate.
Great service, friendly check in staff and cleaning staff did a great job at turning room over.

Clean hotel with good sized, comfortable rooms and a lovely little pool/hot tub. Only caveat is that the hotel is located right next to well used train tracks. I used a noise machine and still heard it a couple times in the night, nothing too crazy but something to consider when booking.
My husband, myself and our son stayed here while in the city for appointments.
Having Ricky's all day grill attached to the hotel was perfect. It was really nice to go have a great meal without even having to leave the hotel again after a long day.. The staff and food at Ricky's were 10/10!! I have absolutely zero negative things to say about the staff or food at Ricky's.

Have stayed here multiple times when in Edmonton and the service has been exceptionally phenomenal from the front desk staff to the house keeping staff. A special shout out to the lions head pub and their staff for being so memorable and regular, making coming back feel like home. Definitely five star rating!
Clean rooms, a bit dated but comfy and quiet. The pool area is down in basement level 2, so very far from rooms. Felt very weird down there, no staff, some crumbling structures. Hot tub was under construction and torn apart. Hotel is a good location and affordable, but don't go for the pool.
Stayed last night and my check in was a little bit complicated (on my end). The gentleman who was assisting me was very professional and patient. He was kind the whole way through. My beautiful room overlooked the atrium and was spacious and cozy. The bed was TO DIE FOR comfy! Five stars here for the accommodations but most especially, the kind staff!
Older hotel/conference centre centrally located so easy access for people from all over the city which is nice, what is not as nice is parking is limited and signage for what was allowed and when was confusing, also as I attended an event here directions to the area where the event was occurring were not clear and we thought we had been given bad directions before we happened to find the space. Attending a conference and food was pretty decent but could have had better vegetarian options. Pretty dim, dusty and dank being in the basement ballroom for a full day but I guess that can't be helped. Staff were great, attentive and helpful. Parking was really easy.

Ben was extremely friendly and attentive! He was able to help clear up a misunderstanding about a room rate, and even threw in a complementary breakfast! The rooms were clean and fresh, and the bed was terrific! Will definitely stay here whenever we are in town.
A last-minute reservation due to a scheduling error elsewhere. They accommodated us in a nice room, with the usual good features, cleanliness and staff friendliness. Our go-to hotel in Edmonton. Consistently provides good service.
Check in was a breeze the guys working were very friendly and professional, check out wasn’t as friendly, also it’s a bit of an inconvenience that the credit card deposit reversal could take up to 5 business days or longer depending on your bank. Had a great stay at this hotel. Parts of it seemed older, but it was kept clean and neat. The staff were friendly. It was easy to get to, but not on a main road. The food was great. We will stay there again.

It can be tricky to access as it's right on a busy major intersection. Once you're in the hotel is easy to navigate.
Standard conference room furniture and the layout was usable.
Where they shine is with the food and service.
Hotel was nice - close to where I needed to be for work. A little disappointed that they didn’t have an executive lounge or even a market place to buy late night food from. However, they were very kind upon check in and as a titanium elite member they did upgrade me to a massive two floor suite.
I would recommend a couple things: better coffee machines, don’t charge for parking and get a marketplace...
Nice place. Clean. Updated rooms. Efficient staff. A little expensive for me. Similar rooms can be found in Edmonton for considerably less. Don't understand a parking charge when the room price is already high. Conference facilities were good. Lunch was awesome. Breakfast had a couple of mistakes, but I guess that can happen.

Clean, comfortable and good location for the activities that we were doing. Good restaurant onsite with beautiful views of the river valley.
Really enjoyed my experience at this hotel. I had some changes to business plans which resulted in storing my car for a few extra days but it turned into a zero hassle arrangement.
Staff are extremely courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast was fantastic, and the river view rooms weren't kidding about their views.

The staff was expectational! I was well greeted, and they were very helpful whenever I asked anything. The room was well decorated, and comfortable. Nice outside terrace with a view of the N. Saskatchewan River

Clean comfortable Rooms and people are nice but , this breakfast is crap . The sausage patties have a stale sort of taste , not good at all , the eggs are ok and the home fries are bland with no flavour. Cooked partially , put away and then steamed at another date . Rooms were nice and our stay was pleasant. Just a few recommendations:
1) The bed sizes of King were small compared to a regular King. We noticed this when we stayed in the 3rd floor.
2) The line up in the breakfast can be avoided if they organize the breakfast area better (people don't have to go back and forth for spoons, jams, toppings) and add another waffle maker.

Calling the number sucks - go to the desk. They are super helpful and professional. The rooms are basic, clean and very nice. The pool and hot tub area is great. Breakfast is awesome. Will definitely stay again. Literally had to leave the holiday inn and suites at 260 a night for the same size of room, 40 minutes on the phone booking (wrong room)
My kids and I stayed 1 night here. Free breakfast was great and served until 10am. We had a king suite with jacuzzi tub and sofa bed. The shower stall was massive, perfect for 2 people. 😉 The sofa bed was about a Double size. King bed was comfortable. Lots of pillows. Customer service was good. Very polite, but nothing that really made me think "wow!".
Place was clean. They allow dogs, but you must...

Continental Inn & Suites

Cheap, simple rooms. I was impressed by the fact that there was a mini fridge, but that's about it.
If you need a good night's rest, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. The beds were terribly uncomfortable.
Front desk staff were helpful. Location was great, close to lots of restaurants and shops. Bus stop right outside. Nothing extravagant about the rooms or the hotel itself.
One of fewer and fewer places offering buffet with good selection of reasonably priced, good comfort food.

Days Inn by Wyndham Edmonton Downtown
Edmonton, 10041-106 Street, Jasper Avenue & 106th Street 🧭 Map
Days inn Edmonton Downtown. Its location is great to the NHL rink. Literally a few blocks and youre there. The hotel is older but its clean.
The staff make up for it. I had a great experience with the front as they went out of their way to help me. Parking is only for smaller vehicles. Eg not big enough for trucks. Good parking rates too.
I had a pleasant stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and well equipped (coffeemaker, mini-fridge). The property is kind of dated and could use some upgrading, but that was a reasonable tradeoff for a lower rate. It can also get noisy at times - not from outside but the interior hallway.
The location is excellent - steps from an LRT station and direct buses to WEM, and close to lots of great...
The front desk workers and housekeepers are awesome. Very friendly, very accommodating. Never had any issues checking in.
The area is downtown, so we were able to walk pretty much wherever we wanted to go. There is the basic amount of crime or danger with being downtown in the area, but the Days Inn felt really safe.
The room itself was pretty nice. Exceptionally clean. My only qualms are that the...
Great location and the staff was amazing! We stayed for 2 nights. The rooms were clean and quiet and it was in a great location from lots of cool restaurants. We were in walking distance from our appointments and they even let us leave our car there after check out on the last day. Thank you!
Great staff! Every single one of them were professional and worked hard at ensuring we had any issues resolved...
Although the process check in/parking is a little unusual compare to what I am used to, the fact that the staff is very welcoming and it has hot water (very hot) with a very good water pressure is making up for it. The hotel was very clean and again, the staff is very nice, one of the key element in my book. There is a Tim Horton right accross the street and many other nice restaurant. Would book again...
Stayed for 3 nights while in town for work. The staff were friendly, helpful and the rooms were clean and organized. The beds are comfortable and soft and the hotel itself was quiet. I would stay here again for the convenience of the location and the simplicity of the stay.

Excellent service, great customer service. The hotel was very clean, and the management was wonderful. Anything we needed it was provided. The kitchen/bar was great as well. Really friendly waitresses and funny! I would like to thank Joanne, especially for her hospitality. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends/family.
Our key cards didn't work so we had to go back to reception to advise, our toilet was malfunctioned (won't flush) so had to call reception again. They left toiletries for one; there was four of us in a single room with two Queen beds; figure the math. Had to bug reception for towels etc. Room is clean but bathroom very worn and dated. And the hair dryer mount fell off the wall but my boyfriend fixed...
We called in a few weeks prior to book two rooms, 1 room with two beds for two people, and another room with 1 bed for 1 person. They just couldn't get it! Repeatedly, they would say, "Oh, so you want the two people in the room with 1 bed, and the single person with two beds." We ended up hanging up and calling another day, in which the problem was resolved.
The day of our scheduled arrival, I called...
