The room is spacious and clean, very convenient, the service attitude is good, the children like it very much, it is a paradise for vacation
We stayed here for 3 nights in September 2024 and we got the Roman theme room. We love it! It has a huge Jacuzzi! Very nice! We were here just to visit Edmonton Mall and the hotel is connected to it
The location is the most convenient. If you stay in the hotel for several consecutive days, the hotel only provides two bottles of water on the first day, and no more on the following days
We came to fantasy land hotel to get away from winter for three days. We loved the themed hotel rooms. The rooms are getting dated but little kids still love them
The hotel theme room is so surprise, especially the space room. It was big and enough for 4 people. So toughing for their small gift 🎁
Service is OK. Hotel is quite old but the location is convenient for visitors.

Coast Edmonton Plaza Hotel by APA
Edmonton, 10155 105th Street 🧭 Map
I have never been disappointed with my experience at this hotel. They have an excellent understanding of who is staying with them, and an excellent understanding of why (events in the city-wise) their guests are staying
Location was excellent, but everything else was mediocre. Housekeeping came the second day and emptied the garbages, but didn’t make our bed. We never saw them for the rest of the trip
We were there last Thursday (for a concert) and Friday evening, and it matched the excellence of every other visit we’ve had there for hockey games in the winter, comedy events and whatever else that brings us to the city
This is a great location if you’re looking to check out the downtown Edmonton area, it’s very accessible and accommodating to the ICE District and Roger’s place and only a few stops away by train from Commonwealth Stadium
Unfortunately there was construction everywhere when I visited but this is not something Coast has any control over. Check-in service was quick and easy. All the counter staff were kind and very easy to work with
It felt like I was lying on a lumpy wooden board, I had to change positions continually throughout the night and never once was able to be comfortable. The view was great, the restaurant was also not too bad

Very good experience. The front desk staff is very good and friendly. I like them!
Such an amazing place with great view from rooms . Staff were pleasant .
Comfy beds, quiet room, and staff was very lovely. Bathroom was a decent size and showers were good. We were only there for one night, but overall it was a great location to walk to Rogers Place!
The hotel is located in downtown, and you can park for free in the underground parking lot. The hotel decoration is quite old, and there are few sockets in the room. There is only one socket except in the bathroom
The room we were initially given was next to the equipment room, which was noisy at night. After reporting it to the front desk, we were moved to a larger suite on a similar floor
The cleaning is average, and the pillows are high, which makes it uncomfortable to sleep. This is a rare chain hotel that does not even provide bottled water

Overall, chateau Lacombe is a good hotel to stay if you are planning to go in Edmonton
The location is accessible to different public transport which is convenient for solo travellers. Also, it is in the middle of downtown area where restaurants and major establishments are located
Employees at the front desk are incredibly friendly! The room was very clean.
He is so kind and welcoming! I had a great view from my room. It’s located in downtown Edmonton
The staff were very friendly and accommodated our every need.
Their excellent service made my stay even more enjoyable. The room was comfortable with stunning views of the city. Thank you for making my visit a pleasant one

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel West Edmonton
Edmonton, 16615 109th Ave 🧭 Map
I had the pleasure of attending a women's event, and it was nothing short of exceptional. The hotel went above and beyond to create an atmosphere that was both empowering and elegant, perfectly suited for the occasion
The event planning team clearly understood the vision for a female-centric event, ensuring every detail aligned with the theme. The event space itself was beautifully decorated with thoughtful, feminine touches
Hotel guests have limited parking on Friday and Saturday night and might have to use overflow parking. Hotel and rooms were good and clean.
I want to sincerely thank Double Tree Hotel and staff for providing us their conference room space for The Menopause Mission event on October 20. The staff went above and beyond to make this event a success
I would highly recommend any organization and or business to use this facility and am certain you won’t be disappointed!
The food is excellent, and the staff is very friendly/efficient. Rest rooms could have been maintained better. This surprised me a bit for a Hilton

There's no microwave in our room and some guests are still making lots of noise even if it's quiet time already. However, food was great, service is good and we had a great time staying at the hotel
Both options are delicious, well stocked and prepared to perfection. We tried both the early breakfast and the brunch. Based on the good experience, we decided to try the restaurant bar at night
Another common thing you'll find is the hospitality and the good mood for every single staff. Is a well notice thing which sometimes is not common
Appreciated the friendly front desk staff. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The water and cookie at check in and the coffee voucher and water at check out were a very nice touch.
The option to have 7-12 breakfast or to extend until 2:30 with brunch is fantastic because you can wakeup late or do any other activity then straight to the restaurant
The rooms are quiet and if you get in the upper level, the view can add an extra. We're in Edmonton usually two times a year. Definitely we'll come back here

Royal Hotel West Edmonton, Trademark Collection by Wyndham
Edmonton, 10010 178 St Nw 🧭 Map
The hotel is in a good location, not far from the West Mall, clean and hygienic, late check-out is available, good experience, slightly poor service, the waiter does not smile when taking the luggage
included breakfast is really good!
Cons: shower head is weirdly low. went to go eat in the restaurant and no one was there (ate in the lounge instead). they charge you if you want late check out
overall it was a good hotel and the location was great. It was nearby to Mcdonald’s and Seafood City!
for Second time stay at Royal hotel we had a good and pleasant time.
Good location and good service
I stayed here for 5 nights and I enjoyed this hotel. The staff were really kind at the front desk. The girl that was there every morning was really nice. The only downfall is their restaurant

Fairmont Hotel Macdonald
Edmonton, 10065 100 St Nw 🧭 Map
The brunch was very good and the attention we had from the chef in regard to allergies was very much appreciated
The longe was vey accommodating in allowing our family to be together at numerous times throughout the whole weekend. The whole staff from dining room to lounge and valets were exceptional
I have had the pleasure of visiting the entire collection of Fairmont hotels in Canada and this was the last one. I definitely saved this best experience for last! I can’t wait for my next trip to Edmonton!
Brunch at the Empire Ballroom is the best in the city. The seafood assortment is by far ahead of any other brunch in YEG. And the assortment is all exceptional quality. Service, as well, is top notch
Nice relaxing ambience and quiet background music too). They always have excellent seasonal food, and top-notch service to boot. (It's not a cheap place to go, but having a Groupon sure helps)
Hotel Macdonald is a beautiful well appointed hotel. As you get closer to the hotel is has the best views. The staff is absolutely incredible. This is definitely the place to stay in the city

Sandman Signature Edmonton South Hotel
Edmonton, 10111 Ellerslie Road South West 🧭 Map
The front desk clerks were amazing and the hotel is well run with great dining at Chop. The only issue was road noise in the night so we had to use ear plugs!
The service was good and I would actually lean closer to 3 1/2 stars. The room had a faint smell of smoke. The sink in the bathroom was cracked and the counter-tops are terrible
This location was convenient for us. Easy to get around. Room was wonderful and like the fact that there were two restaurants on site.
Thank you for taking such good care of your guests Anna!
Parking lot was incredibly busy and hard to navigate. Too many Denny’s and Chop customers parking directly in front of the hotel. Consider restaurant parking and hotel parking differentiation?
This stay however one front desk employee, Anna, went above and beyond to ensure a minor mistake that was made on check in was taken care of quickly and professionally

Matrix Hotel
Edmonton, 10640 100 Avenue NW 🧭 Map
The Matrix hotel is a great place to stay. I stayed for 3 nights and the service was amazing, the rooms were comfy and clean and the complimentary breakfast was one of the best I've ever had
are still quite good, in line with the four-star standard. The room is equipped with a refrigerator and a safe, but there is no microwave. After calling, one was delivered immediately
My daughter and I stayed here last weekend and it was fabulous. Very clean, modern hotel with the best breakfast buffet ever (at no extra cost!). Family friendly and comfortable
The customer service is also good, except that the garbage was forgotten to be cleaned one day. I want to focus on the unreasonable design of the bed in the room (see picture)
Very comfortable, nice design, and a very good breakfast
The walls were a little thin so you could hear toilets flushing and sometimes people talking but that part didn’t bother us as people around us were quiet. The breakfast was the highlight for sure for us

The breakfast was good however the server was not good, never even said good morning or brought me a menu I had to ask if there was a menu or only the option for buffet
Customer Service is beyond good here. Upgraded rooms, chocolate treat!!
Very clean hotel. The Lounge is where it's at if you want to be treated like royalty. I would come back and stay at that hotel just because of him
Had a great stay at this hotel. Parts of it seemed older, but it was kept clean and neat. The staff were friendly. It was easy to get to, but not on a main road. The food was great. We will stay there again.
Edmonton is an underrated city. It's a fun city with full of surprises and beautiful people. I recommend this city to all of my friends and family!
However the hotel employees were very willing to open the door to the stairs to us which was lovely. But it is a lot nicer for pet owners to be on lower floors with access to stairs
Overall this hotel is nice and clean. The restaurant is a bit overpriced. I would stay here again however not with a pet. We were put on the 6th floor with a dog

Hyatt Place Edmonton-West

The venue looked nice and clean and generally it had a pretty good vibe going on. With that said I didn't have an opportunity to look at the rooms but for a work meeting it was alright
My family and I stayed the night of June 23, 2023, and really enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel was clean and new, ans breakfast was delicious. The location was safe and convenient
This web site will compare countless hotel sites and typically will have rooms a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later! This resort is one of the most well known in this area. I have been staying here for a long time
The location is perfect as it's close to the West Edmonton Mall and also to the Anthony Henday Drive which gets you around the city quickly. Has a great hot breakfast in the morning. Will definitely stay here again
One of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed in. We originally had a hotel booked nearby that ended up being SO DIRTY. I called last minute and Hyatt got us a room immediately
If you stay for a few days you won't regret it. Hyatt Hotels in any town has quickly become my favorite chain to stay at for buisness or vacation

Hilton Garden Inn West Edmonton
Edmonton, 17610 Stony Plain Rd Nw 🧭 Map
Came to stay in this Hilton Garden Inn in the west side/suburbs of Edmonton and was very pleased with the friendly service, room (Suite with King bed + pullout bed/sofa) and the simple yet good food served in the Garden Grille on the first floor
Room was clean and comfortable, and allowed us a good amount of room to stretch out. The Garden Grille was a nice place to have a breakfast (omelette, pancakes, etc
Plenty of free parking and easy access to nearby shops, restaurants, Canadian Tire, etc. Also a short drive to West Edmonton Mall. Looking forward to return stay
The only problem is I requested 2 nights, at the advertised rate. They claim I only booked one night. They charged extra 75 dollars for second night. That is not right!
What will you do about it?
com which states that this Hilton had bathrobes unfortunately explain to me by the front desk no Hilton provides bathrobes not that big of a deal but kind of a bummer
We booked here last weekends and staffs are great. But the the only thing is the pool area and hot tub were too strong of chlorine. We just stayed only 5 minutes

Great place to stay! Comfortable beds, clean, good service, good food
Great location. Excellent restuarant on site and very clean. Great stay.
The new eatery and bar just opened. Went in for coffees and a breakfast, was blown away with awesome friendly staff! The kitchen staff are Pros at what they do
Great place to stay! Lots of amenities and food options close by.
Have stayed here a few times and always a good experience. Dining option attached is ok but walkable to steak house which is nice.
There is a great restaurant attached that is open until midnight during the week and 2:00am Friday and Saturday, but does not offer room service because it is not affiliated with the hotel

Metterra Hotel on Whyte
Edmonton, 10454 82 Avenue 🧭 Map
We really enjoyed the wine tasting and delicious breakfast
To their credit, they took the late checkout fee off the bill without prompting, but ideally for the next person staying here, they communicate so the cleaning staff knows which rooms have people who just wanted some more rest, and don’t make up times for things if you don’t actually know
I want to be fair, but if you pay for a service and then are bothered 3 different times in ways you didn’t expect in the same morning with 2 separate people trying to barge into your room with your sleeping partner, it gets a bit frustrating
Maintenance worker knocks at 1030, not after noon, waits ~2 seconds and tries to enter the room before we can answer. Then hotel staff phone the room at 1130 to ask what time we will be leaving
We asked front desk what time they would need to enter the room, the gentleman said after 12. Also paid 30$ for 4PM checkout. Next morning, fire alarms start testing at 930, not 11
)
Lastly, half an hour AFTER we told the front desk that we wouldn’t be leaving until 2, at 1200, the cleaning staff knocks, doesn’t wait for an answer and tries to come in

I stayed here July 18,19,20 of 2025. Michael in the bar was very efficient and has a great sense of humor. I booked the breakfast included, it was good
Amazing and excellent service.
Fantabulous experience.
The only warning I can give is that the train runs right behind the hotel at 430 AM (just like the other hotels along that road). The hotel itself is beautifully decorated. A VERY NICE place to stay indeed
Thank you to everyone there! If we need meeting space in Edmonton again, we will gladly return! Thanks to all the staff! We felt like we were with family :)
Stayed for four days on business. The room was clean and well-equipped, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout.

Best Western Plus City Centre Inn

We had a wonderful stay! The bed was very comfortable and the water in the pool was nice and warm, but the best part was the incredibly friendly service. Everyone was kind and welcoming
Friendly polite greeters-receptionists, location right downtown across from shopping mall was excellent. Will def stay there again.
People need to not use the rule books and look at who their guest is. Absolutely mortified with their behaviour
Not cleaned very good
Was nice room and comfortable bed but it wasn’t very clean . Used bars of soap left , bathtub not clean
This Hotel's room size, setup etc were diffenet from the standards we are used to with Best Western Plus.
The rest was good.
Though the rooms are dated, they are clean, and the beds are small but comfortable. The pool has excellent hours (7 AM to 11 PM), and there is a hotel run a convenience store with lots of snacks

Even a little 'to-go' bag, like they used during the pandemic with granola bars, yogurt and fruit would have shown excellent customer service
Nice clean, small hotel. Good location for tournaments at university. Great Irish pub next door.
Complimentary parking and breakfast were a great perk and they even let us bring our dog for a full family vacation! It even has a bike lane one the street out front for access to the amazing area
Whyte avenue may be the most fun street in Alberta, and I am a Calgary man, typically biased against Edmonton but you cannot deny how fun this street is. The hotel itself is awesome too
Great price and everything was clean and well taken care of despite being a cool older building. I guess I wish there was a pool. Maybe they'll build one someday

Breakfast was pretty good I don’t like the eggs tho but had the coolest pancake machine. Decently priced Will definitely be back and will tell everyone to come !
Excellent hotel, we got a jacuzzi suite and it was great! Bed was very comfortable, and overall it was a refreshing experience compared to other hotels we've stayed at. The staff were also very friendly and helpful
But that's more their fault than the hotel's, and the hotel let us check out instead of enduring another night with that team yelling and stomping around. So it was a good time, would stay there again!
Room was exactly what I was looking for , housekeeping manager was amazing helped with everything we needed. Pool was fun for kids and I got to use the fitness room
Came in to the most friendly front desk staff ever , were very helpful helped me find a place to eat and things to do during the day
Only gripe is we specifically asked for a reasonably quiet room that's as close as possible to the doors and elevators, and we got a room right beside the room they were renovating and it was the farthest room from the elevator on the floor

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was perfect – very clean, comfortable, and well-organized. The staff did an excellent job, always friendly and helpful
The only downside to this hotel is that there is no free parking, as it costs you $15 to use the parkade. Overall a very good experience
Clean rooms, comfortable beds, restaurant on site. Restaurant staff were amazing and food was good. Gym consisted of 3 cardio machines.
Good value for money, quiet location in downtown with many restaurants and cafes within walking distance. Air conditioning does not work too well. Fitness center is tiny and claustrophobic
I asked some questions from other front desk staff and they ware not so friendly and uninterested it seemed in their work. Overall if you get a good price on this hotel it’s ok for 1 or 2 nights
I stayed 2 nights at this hotel Days inn downtown Edmonton. The check in was good I was checked in by an employee named vic I think. He was a very professional and positive person
