Spent $270 for the night. Expensive for not even having complimentary water bottles in the room. And didn't include free parking.
Very good experience. The front desk staff is very good and friendly. I like them!
Such an amazing place with great view from rooms . Staff were pleasant .
The hotel is located in downtown, and you can park for free in the underground parking lot.
The hotel decoration is quite old, and there are few sockets in the room. There is only one socket except in the bathroom. The cleaning is average, and the pillows are high, which makes it uncomfortable to sleep.
This is a rare chain hotel that does not even provide bottled water.
The room we were initially given was next to the equipment room, which was noisy at night. After reporting it to the front desk, we were moved to a larger suite on a similar floor. The hotel facilities are relatively old, but they are clean.
The room is large, with refrigerator and microwave. Very clean too.

Have stayed here multiple times when in Edmonton and the service has been exceptionally phenomenal from the front desk staff to the house keeping staff. A special shout out to the lions head pub and their staff for being so memorable and regular, making coming back feel like home. Definitely five star rating!
Clean rooms, a bit dated but comfy and quiet. The pool area is down in basement level 2, so very far from rooms. Felt very weird down there, no staff, some crumbling structures. Hot tub was under construction and torn apart. Hotel is a good location and affordable, but don't go for the pool.
Stayed last night and my check in was a little bit complicated (on my end). The gentleman who was assisting me was very professional and patient. He was kind the whole way through. My beautiful room overlooked the atrium and was spacious and cozy. The bed was TO DIE FOR comfy! Five stars here for the accommodations but most especially, the kind staff!
Older hotel/conference centre centrally located so easy access for people from all over the city which is nice, what is not as nice is parking is limited and signage for what was allowed and when was confusing, also as I attended an event here directions to the area where the event was occurring were not clear and we thought we had been given bad directions before we happened to find the space. The...
Attending a conference and food was pretty decent but could have had better vegetarian options. Pretty dim, dusty and dank being in the basement ballroom for a full day but I guess that can't be helped. Staff were great, attentive and helpful. Parking was really easy.
The conference facilities are very nice. The room we hired for our meeting was nicely required and everything was working. Nice selection of snacks and the washrooms eye clean. Good job!

Had a good trip. Pool and hot tub was the highlight
The location is convenient, and the room is clean. Breakfast included.
Amber at the front desk was super accommodating and friendly. After a long drive this place felt super relaxing and out of the downtown core, so it felt pretty safe for our vehicles. The maid found some of our belongings and we quickly remembered and she had them for us, which was a lifesaver. I’ll only stay here if I come to Edmonton.
Outdated furniture and filthy lounge chairs and furniture couches at the lobby. Seems like no one really cares to clean. No water available to purchase. I have to drive out and get water at Safeway grocery store. The hallways leading up to the rooms are too damn dark! And capers needs some attention also. And lastly you're too far away from everything nothing close to any accessible stores and such...
I had a wonderful experience at Edmonton Hotel and Convention Centre. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.A big thank you to the front desk team Harmeen and Gayatri for their warm hospitality.
The shower faucet was broken. Not enough lights. The pillows are terrible never seen like this.

We expected what we deserved in this very good price, however, some facilities are nearly worn out and should be replaced such as my room chair. I think it is time to go dumpling or free giving to other people.
The location was nice and it was pet friendly. It is an older stay.
The room was old and has much worn outs. Location is not too far from southgate mall but it takes around 15 mins to get to walk to the bus stop. Not much to see or find around this area and all you need is drive. The breakfast was of few choices, only tea, coffee and juice. Bread, toast, a few eggs, fruits and yogurt. The ventilation of the breakfast dining areas is bad. So I may not want to stay...
Everything was good, the hotel is simple and not fancy, but the room was clean and nice. There were only a few little things that weren't that great. One was the breakfast. It was a little more sparse than I thought it would be (no real protein except for refrigerated boiled eggs that weren't great, and everything else was pretty much just fruit, and other carbs). T.V remote didn't work, and there...
Service was good. The room was really old, Tv did not work the whole time and the reception could not fix it. Overall, was surprised how worn out the room was… in a bad way. Oh yes, and breakfast was 3/10.
Great budget place. Value for money. It’s not too great on the aesthetics but it’s a good budget option.

Cheap, simple rooms. I was impressed by the fact that there was a mini fridge, but that's about it.
If you need a good night's rest, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. The beds were terribly uncomfortable.
Front desk staff were helpful. Location was great, close to lots of restaurants and shops. Bus stop right outside. Nothing extravagant about the rooms or the hotel itself.
Good place to go and stay the night. A really great place to eat
One of fewer and fewer places offering buffet with good selection of reasonably priced, good comfort food.

Didn't Sleep
"Oh, by the way there is a major rail line just outside your room window that has trains passing by about every hour!"
No one told us about that little distraction!!
It was clean. There were industrial noises outsideoccasionally and plumbing noises inside. We did not sleep well.
Good service; good environment
A room was clean and comfortable to stay
When I walked into the lobby just after 3:00pm I was surprised to see no line up at the front desk for that time of day. The lobby area was nicely decorated with Christmas trees and had nice décor. The service from staff was fine and they accommodated my preference for a room location.
When I walked inside my room I noticed the carpet right away. Most hotels have renovated to wooden floors except...

It was very clean, comfortable bed, the girls at the reception were nice, chatty.
I had my wedding in the Hotel and was provided two halls, one for the ceremony and the other for reception; also I had to make reservation in the hotel for family and friend that were flying from other province to attend the wedding. The design and deco of the hotel halls blew my mind despite the pricing being really reasonable. The staff (esp. Sandra, Joan and Rose) were really helpful in the organising...
We just booked a king suite here for our anniversary and it was amazing.
The dated French colonial style they've maintained is absolutely awesome. This building has a lot of history but with renovations to keep the place from seeming old. Huge jacuzzi tub, fireplace, comfy clean bed, robes... I could go on. It was just really nice and a welcome change from the same basic hotel rooms you'd find at...
Great staff! So friendly
The French lady who works at the bar down stairs is Absolutely amazing ....... I have worked in customer service for years and I was so impressed with her. I stayed twice and both times this lady was working her but off and still friendly !!!! She never slowed down and still always smiling and it was sooo busy. She handled it like a champ! She is the reason I came...
Stayed in the Royal King room. Large well appointed room.
The king bedwas well used and needed to be changed out.
The bathroom is huge and has a Jacuzzi and a two person shower.
A quiet and relaxing weekend.
Will stay again

This was our second stay at this hotel. Last year's experience was good, so we returned, but this time, the experience wasn't as good.
The negative service review stems from the fact that on our departure morning, the cleaning staff knocked on our door at 8:45 a.m. to ask what time we'd check out. I've stayed in many hotels, but this was the first time I'd encountered such a situation. It was very...

The location of hotel is good and check in process is fairly easy. The location is convenient for those who are coming to University of Alberta and you can walk down to any university building. There is a small coffe shop /breakfast restaurant and many other eateries, grocery stores etc in 10-15mts walking distance
One of my favourite hotels to stay when I’m in Edmonton. Kitchenette with everything I need, a nice gym downstairs and a great location. They were doing some renovations while we were there and it was really starting to look good. We look forward to returning to see the finished product!
We booked a one bedroom suite at Campus Tower and it was perfect for our week stay. Having a small kitchen in the room was really convenient. We chose this hotel because it’s pet friendly, which worked out great for us, and located right by the university was exactly what we needed. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
Arriving late to check-in can sometimes feel like an imposition on the host/hostess. After making a reservation and letting them know we would be late, the host informed me that it would be fine.* When we arrived the host was very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, and fully stocked with bathroom essentials, and hot drink supplies. Great hotel! We would definitely stay here again.
We booked our stay here because of the close proximity to the UofA hospital where our son was staying. The hotel is old, the heating system is showing its age. We were there for almost 2 weeks and never once did someone offer us any sort of housekeeping. Such as fresh towels etc. we had to ask for toilet paper, bathroom cleaner, fresh sheets, and the vacuum. We understand it’s a pandemic, but the hotel...
The place was a great location. Esp iallynby the hospital. Not only the location was good but the room was clean and the staff helped out when needed.
They messaged me before and after to see how my stay was. Also I double booked rooms and they called to confirm and gave me the lesser expensive room.
I also was to drop off my bags and leave there until my check-in.
My child was having an operation...

Rosslyn Inn is overal great. I was at the Holiday Inn North, dirty and killed 2 carpet beetles in 2 days. Housecleaning never replaced the mattress cover the 10 days I stayed. The windows would only open to 2 inches, they had a screw. In the window track so it couldn't open anymore. FIRE HAZERD?
Fantastic servic In heart of city, this older hotel is clean, comfortable and great staff. Nostalgic restaurant with homey feel and good value for the meal. Karen on front desk was welcoming and helpful for suggesting restaurants still open when I arrived at almost midnight.
The security man Avikashpreet made this country woman feel safe in the "big city".
I was a great experience, it was best rooms and I will highly recommend you all to choose this place to stay
KC and Donita are very accommodating and helpful. Other staff are polite too. About our room, it's clean but it smells old. Maybe the building is old, I dunno. But overall experience 100%.
My Dad has been going to this restaurant for over 30 years! Many changes over time, of course. But not when it comes to the food! Always delicious, good sized portions. Prices are comparable to most places nowadays.
Service is always fast and friendly.
It's the one place my Dad always takes me when I visit from Ontario. 🙂
No tvs worked. Shower barely worked. For a hotel that costs that much hopefully you’d have a decently functioning shower and entertainment.

Great location. Very spacious, clean and comfortable apartment with well appointed kitchen and living spaces. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Highly recommend this hotel. Extremely clean. 2 bed/2 bath was very large. Kitchen, dining area, living room and washer/dryer. You can feel safe as all the exterior doors are locked mid afternoon. It was perfect for the night my furnace died. It was clean and warm. Wifi was...meh. but have ny own right. All in all u was very happy.
Called receptionist because the wifi credentials we were given was not working, before she knew why we called, she said she was swamped and will call be back, I am still waiting for that call. If you use a debit card at check-in make sure you get your deposit refunded at check-out because it will take a while to get it back if you don't.
location was sketchy, and hotel is dated. we feel uncomfortable walking around at night. Room is clean and staff is friendly.

Breakfast room was small, limited seating, felt crowded. . I was unable to enjoy the hot tub as their was another guest in it for more 6 hours. It seems that some guests were residing at hotel. My room was cute.
I'm not sure if I like this place. We could hear all the noise from the lobby. Kids running and adults talking. It was definitely not a quiet hotel. But the room is clean and spacious and the breakfast was great.
Room was clean and sizable. Bathroom is on the smaller side.
There was an older smell in the air in our room when we first walked in but you forget about it quickly. They have Dove products in the shower which is really nice because my skin doesn't feel dry when I get up in the morning, even with the A/C on.

Location for this hotel is great as it’s a quick 8-10 minute drive to West Edmonton Mall. The rooms are average, our room was supposed to be two queens but had 1 king and a double bed, which was odd. Had a very nice stay. The breakfast is great. The pool is awesome. However I wasn’t too pleased with my room this stay. We opened the one drawer to find someone else’s dirty clothes inside.
