Edmonton Inn and Conference Centre
Edmonton, 11834 Kingsway NW 🧭 Map
I'm not really impressed. Sorry. Dirty drawers with potato chips from previous tenant. Stains on bedspread. Really unfortunate because the hotel is huge and has great layout. Beautiful walkways and courtyard areas. Could use some improvements in housekeeping and maintenance to bring it back to former glory.
Restaurant/lobby smelled of sewer too, and couldn't find anyone to seat us there for dinner...
Good hotel with clean and tidy rooms but old design and furniture. All equipment and furniture are very old but still in good condition. Strange window and very noisy heater. Only TV and clock are new in the room. But anyway everything is clean, renovated, and still works.
We have been to many conferences here and the conference area and catering are excellent.
The hotel rooms, while clean, are not very soundproof.
We did require a handicapped accessible room but were told they didn't have one. I did need my husband to push me through the entrance to the room as I couldn't get my hands to wheel through without losing some skin on the back of my hands and ended up stuck...
Rooms were clean and well-equipped. There was some water damage on the bathroom ceiling, but no evidence of mould. Front desk staff definitely needs some better training. Very friendly and kind, but didn't quite know what to do when a person booked 2 rooms.
This is my first time in this hotel and I really love the nature theme inside the hotel close to the reception desk. The atmosphere inside the hotel is very beautiful. I will give 4 stars because I am yet to lodge there. Their catering service is superb and I love the food. Their staffs are very polite, welcoming and charming. The hotel is close to the downtown and just by the old airport.

Great place. The lobby smells great front desk are a bunch of professionals and kind people!! Literally all of them are super nice! The room though I wasn’t expecting that at all, it wasn’t that great the carpet was dirty and the room smelled like an old retirement home which I didn’t like however the location made it all worth it at the end. overall
I’ve stayed here for conventions many years and have not seen too much change. The rooms are spacious and some views are better than others. The food is good there are also lots of restaurants in the area if you choose not to eat in the hotel. The gym and pool area is loaded with everything you need, water, headphones and towels. The sauna is small but still great. Parking is a bit tight. I’ve always...
Parking underneath was extremely tight. the beds were creaky and the pillows were way too big without an option for a smaller pillow. Bathroom could’ve been cleaner. Being right downtown Edmonton is great for conferences.
Atrtended Gala on Saturday and from arrival to departure Service Top shelf, A special thank you Tameka in events , Being an event planner myself in hotel -hospitality industry she was amazing at answering questions , welcoming Directing and ensuring all were taken care of The front desk staff So welcoming friendly and knowledgeable. I run a DJ company in Edmonton called Market Sound Entertainment. We do a lot of events around Edmonton so I know the hotel scene very well. I can tell you that the Westin is wonderful to deal with.
The location couldn’t be better and they are very accommodating when it comes to helping you plan the perfect wedding or corporate party. The staff is super friendly and eager to help if you need anything...

The hotel theme room is so surprise, especially the space room. It was big and enough for 4 people. So toughing for their small gift 🎁
Service is OK. Hotel is quite old but the location is convenient for visitors.
The location is the most convenient. If you stay in the hotel for several consecutive days, the hotel only provides two bottles of water on the first day, and no more on the following days
The room is spacious and clean, very convenient, the service attitude is good, the children like it very much, it is a paradise for vacation
We stayed here for 3 nights in September 2024 and we got the Roman theme room. We love it! It has a huge Jacuzzi! Very nice! We were here just to visit Edmonton Mall and the hotel is connected to it. That's awesome! And thank you for letting us checked in early. We really appreciate that.
Fantasy World is a modern and cool hotel with a variety of theme rooms, including Roman Holiday, Polynesia, Arctic Ice and Snow. So this hotel is more suitable for vacationing with children or traveling with the whole family. Coast Edmonton Plaza Hotel by APA
Edmonton, 10155 105th Street 🧭 Map
Was put on a pet friendly floor. No problem with that except the fact that our room reeked of someone’s pet. Not only did it smell like several dogs stayed here it appeared that way as well. Pet hair fills the carpets, as well as our nose. We found it difficult to cope with the smell even with the window let open for the entire duration of our stay. I am not one to complain but this is truly disappointing
This is a great location if you’re looking to check out the downtown Edmonton area, it’s very accessible and accommodating to the ICE District and Roger’s place and only a few stops away by train from Commonwealth Stadium. Unfortunately there was construction everywhere when I visited but this is not something Coast has any control over. Check-in service was quick and easy. All the counter staff were...
Location was excellent, but everything else was mediocre. Housekeeping came the second day and emptied the garbages, but didn’t make our bed. We never saw them for the rest of the trip. We had to ask for towels on our last day. The bathroom needs better lighting and a nicer shower. The pool is lacklustre and the ceiling was leaking liquid into the pool. Bed was comfortable and Toto bidet was a nice...
I have never been disappointed with my experience at this hotel.
They have an excellent understanding of who is staying with them, and an excellent understanding of why (events in the city-wise) their guests are staying.
Their staff is all so genuine and kind to all. It’s always a very smooth check-in.
Day & night staff (concierge and maintenance) are so awesome.
Rooms are clean and comfy, amenities...
The room was very clean as were the linen. The staff was very accommodating and made you feel like you were welcome and not just a room number. The parking was adequate. The room had a bidet and that was really a pleasant surprice, also the seat was heated so that was nice. Overall it was a great experience.
The room was great but they did not have certain things already in place, though you could request most things and they will have it delivered for you.

Spent $270 for the night. Expensive for not even having complimentary water bottles in the room. And didn't include free parking.
Very good experience. The front desk staff is very good and friendly. I like them!
Such an amazing place with great view from rooms . Staff were pleasant .
The hotel is located in downtown, and you can park for free in the underground parking lot.
The hotel decoration is quite old, and there are few sockets in the room. There is only one socket except in the bathroom. The cleaning is average, and the pillows are high, which makes it uncomfortable to sleep.
This is a rare chain hotel that does not even provide bottled water.
The room we were initially given was next to the equipment room, which was noisy at night. After reporting it to the front desk, we were moved to a larger suite on a similar floor. The hotel facilities are relatively old, but they are clean.
The room is large, with refrigerator and microwave. Very clean too.

Good venue for a conference. The food is excellent, and the staff is very friendly/efficient. Rest rooms could have been maintained better. This surprised me a bit for a Hilton. There is lots of space for parking and it's nice to attend a hotel that's not downtown. Getting to and from the hotel from other sides of the city takes time, but just factor that in if you are not staying at the hotel.
Overall nice hotel. Rooms are clean and spacious. My only negatives are that my pillows were pretty terrible and I wish the TVs were smart so I could have logged into something for streaming. Breakfast buffet is hands down best I've had at a hotel. The warm cookies are reception is a nice touch. I would definitely consider returning.
This place has everything you need and is a few minutes from everywhere. The pool and fitness room are west of the restaurant, AND THEY HAVE CHANGE ROOMS! No need to go down in skivvies, though I suppose that adds to the resort feel of the hotel. Ample parking. Great in between the Science Centre and West Ed Mall. I'll go again and probably stay here. Have stayed here multiple times when in Edmonton and the service has been exceptionally phenomenal from the front desk staff to the house keeping staff. A special shout out to the lions head pub and their staff for being so memorable and regular, making coming back feel like home. Definitely five star rating!
Clean rooms, a bit dated but comfy and quiet. The pool area is down in basement level 2, so very far from rooms. Felt very weird down there, no staff, some crumbling structures. Hot tub was under construction and torn apart. Hotel is a good location and affordable, but don't go for the pool.
Stayed last night and my check in was a little bit complicated (on my end). The gentleman who was assisting me was very professional and patient. He was kind the whole way through. My beautiful room overlooked the atrium and was spacious and cozy. The bed was TO DIE FOR comfy! Five stars here for the accommodations but most especially, the kind staff!
Older hotel/conference centre centrally located so easy access for people from all over the city which is nice, what is not as nice is parking is limited and signage for what was allowed and when was confusing, also as I attended an event here directions to the area where the event was occurring were not clear and we thought we had been given bad directions before we happened to find the space. Attending a conference and food was pretty decent but could have had better vegetarian options. Pretty dim, dusty and dank being in the basement ballroom for a full day but I guess that can't be helped. Staff were great, attentive and helpful. Parking was really easy.

There's no microwave in our room and some guests are still making lots of noise even if it's quiet time already. However, food was great, service is good and we had a great time staying at the hotel. We'll definitely come back again.

Appreciated the friendly front desk staff. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The water and cookie at check in and the coffee voucher and water at check out were a very nice touch.
Rooms were cold and you could not adjust. The beds are small and worn out. You slide off throughout the night. Over all the place is outdated. And it was expensive.
If the food is important on your stay, this is the place to be. The option to have 7-12 breakfast or to extend until 2:30 with brunch is fantastic because you can wakeup late or do any other activity then straight to the restaurant. Both options are delicious, well stocked and prepared to perfection. We tried both the early breakfast and the brunch. Based on the good experience, we decided to try the...

Decent in terms of service and being a 3 or 4 star property but nothing really that pushes it past that benchmark. Some things may even push it to 3 stars or lower. We went for a private event (a birthday party) and stayed for one night. The staff was very friendly and professional, both at the event and next morning at the restaurant for brunch. The buffet was amazingly good, with a lot of options. Kudos to our waitresses Corina, Yasmin and Claudia!
Brunch at the Empire Ballroom is the best in the city. There is no comparison. The seafood assortment is by far ahead of any other brunch in YEG. And the assortment is all exceptional quality. Service, as well, is top notch. You will pay a high price though to dine here. And reservations need to be booked well in advance. But for any special occasion, there is no better brunch I know of.
Great historic old world charm. I enjoyed the pool and Christmas decor. One of the main restaurants was closed as a result of Covid I assume. The location downtown is perfect. This location was convenient for us. Easy to get around. Room was wonderful and like the fact that there were two restaurants on site.
Parking lot was incredibly busy and hard to navigate. Too many Denny’s and Chop customers parking directly in front of the hotel. Consider restaurant parking and hotel parking differentiation?
The front desk clerks were amazing and the hotel is well run with great dining at Chop. The only issue was road noise in the night so we had to use ear plugs!
Convenient for South Edmonton Common area. Pool is a bit underwhelming for the kids.
The hotel was beautiful and the staff were great. However, my husband and I got a Jacuzzi room and the countertops were stained beat up had water damage rings. I mean overall the room looked nice until you started looking at things that were damaged and beat up so it kind of blows my mind that $308 for this room a night. However overall was good.
I make it a point to stay at a Sandman Signature when I travel and I am never disappointed with the rooms or service. Checked in on June 26, 2024. The hotel entrance is not very conspicuous, and the lobby is not gorgeous. It is much more low-key than the imagined four-star hotel, but the room layout (except the bed), sanitary facilities, corridor environment, sound insulation effect... are still quite good, in line with the four-star standard.
