Pros: really large room. very clean. close to WEM. included breakfast is really good! Cons: shower head is weirdly low. went to go eat in the restaurant and no one was there (ate in the lounge instead). they charge you if you want late check out. place is large , so be prepared for a long walk to your room.
I stayed here for 5 nights and I enjoyed this hotel. The staff were really kind at the front desk. The girl that was there every morning was really nice. The only downfall is their restaurant. I ordered a pizza and a bowl of soup and it took over an hour. Other than that I did enjoy the stay and the rooms were comfortable.
Room was very large. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Many access points into the various wings of rooms. Coffee at breakfast was very.good. Staff very friendly and efficient.
The rooms were comfortable and have everything people expect ....but to get five stars, you have to have things people don't expect. For me, that was a DVD player. I brought DVDs with me in hopes there would be one, but there was not. The front desk staff was great and the free breakfast surpasses many other hotels in amount and quality. Parking was plentiful. Proximity to the mall by car was great...
We were staying here to visit family and friends. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Raj was especially friendly and made us feel very at ease. Rooms were clean and towels were fluffy. It is close to amenities. Clearly the people working here take pride in there jobs which was important to me. Would stay here again.
On March 19 -2023 I was just getting into the city I stopped over to have supper , I met a young man in the lounge working as my server...his name was Raj He treated me like his own family. He was just so likeable and pleasure to talk to. A definite asset indeed. He showed so much that he truly loved his job working for this hotel in the lounge. A special thanks to kitchen I ordered a Pasta and...

Great stay. Felt safe and a lot more secure compared to other hotels in Edmonton. Good pool and hot tub and a decent gym to get workouts in. I would stay here again! Thank you to the hotel staff 🙏🏽
A decent stay in the one bedroom suite. AC is user manageable and not restricted like some other chains, allowing you to control your sleep environment. The suite felt a little under furnished. Small fridge and no place to really prepare food. No toaster etc. We were able to rest at least. And that's a plus.
Wow!! This hotel is outstanding!! Very pleasant service with all staff members making eye contact and smiling. No issues at check-in or check-out. The room was stunning in its cleanliness and full amenities. We liked the unusual orientation of the bed and the spacious bathroom. The Aqua bar had excellent breakfast options and we felt spoiled for choice there.
Great service here. Really friendly and helpful. Very clean hotel and room. Newer. Nice patio area and gym. Pool looked nice. Room was great. Pretty quiet throughout the week. Bed was very comfortable. Nice restaurant down stairs.
Overall I was very happy and impressed with my 3 night stay at this hotel. It was very comfortable for my husband and I and our 2 young kids (3 yo and 8 months). The staff were very friendly and the restaurant on site has delicious food so it was very convenient to fuel up before starting our day. Perfect location as well!
This Is Always A Favourite Hotel When I Come To Edmonton! Super Comfy Rooms And A Fluffy Bed! Nice Bathtubs And A Great Location In The City!

Clean comfortable Rooms and people are nice but , this breakfast is crap . The sausage patties have a stale sort of taste , not good at all , the eggs are ok and the home fries are bland with no flavour. Cooked partially , put away and then steamed at another date . If u stay here then have yogurt and cereal etc . Shouldn't have to drown everything in ketchup to get it down
The bed was very comfortable and the room had clean linens and towels. The room had a mini fridge, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron, and TV. The only thing missing was the microwave. Breakfast was included and very good. Close to Westmall and surrounded by places to eat. The staff was very friendly. I recommend it!
We stayed at this location from July 7 2024 to July 21 2024. Check in and check out were amazing. Customer service is amazing. People who are maintaining the hotel cleanliness are very friendly. The food was very good for breakfast and it was a delight to find a washer and dryer near front desk so that I could get some laundry done. Rooms and bathrooms are very well kept. Vending machines are...
Came here on a stopover on our road trip. First glances suggest that this place has seen its fair share of travellers, but what really WOW'd us was the service we got at the front desk, Ashley was her name. She was very accommodating to our needs, we were 2 families travelling with 4 kids. Very attentive and able to offer us solutions when things were not quite what we had expected. Great job Ashley...
Obviously an older establishment, but don't let that change impact your decision to stay. The service was great, quick check in and out. The washer/dryer was affordable. The room (259) was very clean and spacious. We slept well. AC worked great. Shower had a lot of pressure and even robes were available. Keurig coffee machine available in the room as well. But the best part, was the breakfast. It was...
The beds were comfortable, didn't hear the traffic at all despite the location being right off Stony Plain, I was impressed. Check-in and checkout was smooth and quick

Favourite hotel I've stayed at in Edmonton so far. Great price and the room we had was amazing. We stayed in the King Suite which was quite large and roomy. Balcony view was amazing. Best hotel breakfast I've had to be honest, pool was awesome too. Lots of restraunts in walking distance and nice area to walk around with the legislative building right there. I missed his name but the manager working...
It's not the nicest hotel out there, but the rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. The price was very reasonable compared to other hotels in the area and I would say 100% worth it. We stayed during a heatwave and the AC kept the room nice and cool. The rooms themselves are older and could use some renovations. There was water leaking from the roof in the hallway and the elevators weren't the...
The A/C in the rooms is amazing. During a heat wave where temperatures were in the mid 30s, it stayed a cool 18 through the day and overnight. Room was clean and didn't look as run down as other people have mentioned. It had a tub, balcony and dove brand toiletries. Staff were great. Breakfast was good and the fact that hot breakfast is included is awesome. No bacon though, just sausages. This place...
The location is great. Very central in downtown Edmonton. Service is good, and rooms are okay. Each room has a balcony which is a nice touch, but otherwise rooms are pretty standard albeit a bit dated. The breakfast has definitely gotten worse over the years. Last time I stayed they replaced the breakfast sausages with hot dogs. There were also issues with cold coffee over one of my stays. Otherwise...
We stayed for 2 nights at this hotel and found the location amazing. It was very easy to get to the conference and other parts of the city. The breakfast options were great as well. I have a background in hospitality so the room and hallways were very lackluster. The room wasn't the cleanest, with my main complaint being the bathroom and general smell of the room. I also noticed dirty spots on the...

I'm not sure if I like this place. We could hear all the noise from the lobby. Kids running and adults talking. It was definitely not a quiet hotel. But the room is clean and spacious and the breakfast was great.
Room was clean and sizable. Bathroom is on the smaller side. There was an older smell in the air in our room when we first walked in but you forget about it quickly. They have Dove products in the shower which is really nice because my skin doesn't feel dry when I get up in the morning, even with the A/C on. Complimentary breakfast was very nice, as some hotels tend to not offer it. Pool was nice to...
Location for this hotel is great as it’s a quick 8-10 minute drive to West Edmonton Mall. The rooms are average, our room was supposed to be two queens but had 1 king and a double bed, which was odd. The breakfast is pretty standard, one meat and eggs, cereal, waffles, fruit; no spectacular but gets you full. The rooms cleanliness was mediocre (pieces of food in the corners and closet). Staff were...
Had a very nice stay. The breakfast is great. The pool is awesome. However I wasn’t too pleased with my room this stay. We opened the one drawer to find someone else’s dirty clothes inside. And then throughout our stay we would find random clumps of false eyelashes. Our AC unit also rattled quite loud and made it hard to sleep listening to it. Other than that had a great stay. Love how close the hotel...
Calling the number sucks - go to the desk. They are super helpful and professional. The rooms are basic, clean and very nice. The pool and hot tub area is great. Breakfast is awesome. Will definitely stay again. Literally had to leave the holiday inn and suites at 260 a night for the same size of room, 40 minutes on the phone booking (wrong room)
Breakfast was good. Always kept food filled.just wish there was more variety from day to day.

My recent stay at the Sandman Hotel was absolutely fantastic, and I must give a special shout-out to Maria at the front desk. This is a tired hotel with an excellent location and fabulous staff. There was mold in the grout around the tub, the floor wasn't that clean in the bathroom, and the room had an air of old overall. All carpets are in dire need of cleaning. Furniture in the lobby looked exhausted. 😂 Front desk staff were phenomenal, pool was lovely (great temp), hot tub could've been a bit hotter but nice size. ...
Maria. R was absolutely amazing!! She helped us in many different aspects of our stay! Love her customer service and friendly smile! I will stay here more often cause she took care of us so well!!! She made us feel so comfortable and welcomed.10/10 The room was clean! The view of downtown was beautiful. Check in/out was easy and quick!
Awesome location, super close to everything we wanted to do and see. The pool was perfect for a toddler, probably would be a bit boring for older kids unless you bring pool toys. The service was great, Maria was fantastic at check out. And check with a lady with lovely braids was easy and also fairly straightforward. The room was good, the bathrooms a bit small but overall it worked!
We were in Edmonton in search for a grad dress, we have went to a few hotels already and just wanted to start looking for the perfect dress. Maria, our front desk attendant, was very accommodating and helpful. She got us a great rate on the two rooms we needed, and to top it off, we did find that perfect dress with her suggestions in less than two hours! Thank you again Maria for making our trip stress...
The gentleman at reception was the most helpful funny amazing character. He started our stay off making us feel welcome. Room was clean and quite plus complementary bathroom supplies.

Rooms look bigger on Google. This place has no elevator. The front desk did not tell us about parking or any of their services. The check in was great. The room was great, except for the tub, which was super slippery, and when showering, most of the water went through the spout instead of the shower head. The check out wasn't great. The attendant wasn't pleasant or professional. Just a tip make sure you get a printed receipt before you leave and that the proper name is on the billing. Never did receive an emailed receipt.
I stayed here for the first time and when I walked in I was greeted by a very polite young lady with a huge smile. And when I told her I had just booked a room online and she said my name and got the stay completed right away. The staff here are great. Very friendly and they all go out of their way to make your stay more comfortable. It is nothing fancy. The rooms are small, but everything clean and I felt comfortable. Plus I can have my dog and bird here so that would get 5 more stars if I could give them. Also, it's close to the mall.

Nice place with live music. The bar only accepts cash which is a bit in inconvinient... Other than that, would definitely go back!
Great live music venue with lots of history in the music scene. Saw the Steve McQueen band, which never disappoints. Shout out to the Ellen Ropers who were on full display. See you again soon
Love this place they have a area for vlts, they have pool tables and then another area with a dance floor and if i remember correctly they have live bands from time to time. Love the art they have in the bar and on the bathroom stalls
I accept the fact that the Blues on Whyte is not everyone's cup of tea but I like it. Rooms were perfect. Great size, comfortable beds, very quiet. Lots of parking and restaurant on site was better than expected! Ended up eating there a few nights because it was good! Exactly what I needed for the week. Only downside was there could have been better water pressure in the shower/washroom.
This hotel is a hidden gem. This was our second stay and the room was clean and cozy and QUIET!!! I can’t get over how quiet it was just being right on St. Albert Trail and the Yellowhead. Nice hotel, friendly service, lots of parking. Good restaurant, no room service but you can take the food up to your room. Overall good place to stay.
We payed nearly $250.00 for a jacuzzi suite here. The suite was nice and spacious but it really bothered me that the hotel did not have any bathrobes. What JACUZZI SUITE doesn't have bathrobes. The bar was cute and classy and the staff super friendly.

What you expect from a super 8. Nice location near to a major highway. The TV was not working and the manager was screaming at a homeless guy that was hiding in the emergency stairs but other than that, good. Denny's is right beside the hotel and it's a 24hours one. The breakfast was reasonable.

I had such a great experience at this hotel. Immediately when walking into our room- it smelt fresh and clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, even the pillows smelled clean. Not a bad place/price for a Hyatt place. Keep in mind they don’t really do room service unless requested and they seem to be only doing express room service. Matrix Hotel was a partner hotel to our wedding Venue (The Foundry Room) and hooked up our entire extended family with a discount with most of our family coming from out of town. They also provided both of our wedding parties with rooms to get ready, enjoy some cocktails, shooting some photos and relax. Kate, the catering manager went above and beyond to make sure we had a private room for our guests...
Room was great, nice and clean. Private and quiet. Front desk lady was very helpful. The best breakfast which was included ever. Well done. A repair was done in the ceiling on day two which left a coating of drywall dust through the room. I should have said something. A very good experience over all.

I was satisfied with my stay with my family. I would stay there again the next time I am in Edmonton.
I was assistant manager of a well known hotel years ago and wasn't impressed so walked away from that job. This Staybridge Hotel in my opinion is Excellent in many ways. First, Customer service is Excellent! Second, room appears clean, organized and glass shower doors with zero water spots. They have all toiletries except facial wash. So, you'll want to bring face cleanser. Third, the Free complimentary...
We used to love it here! Great location, comfortable affordable rooms and a complimentary breakfast. Sadly they have since changed to all feather pillows ( allergies) and the mattresses seem more firm. Finally, customer service has slipped and you may be met with a, lets say less than professional staff member. It's been fun Stay bridge, but, we won't be staying again.
We stayed at Staybridge Suites West Edmonton this past weekend and we have found our new home away from home. The service was from check in to check out was wonderful. The rooms were quiet and when we asked for more towels we were always greeted with nothing but the best and happiest faces. The location is also so great! Everything you need is within a 10 minute drive. Breakfast is included and every...
Great hotel, great staff. They have a pool and a gym. Free breakfast and Monday to Wednesday evening social from 5 to 7pm. The social event will give you one beer/wine ticket with unlimited snacks. Spent 11days, their free laundry helped to travel light. The location is very convenient for buses and other transport. Not very far from the West Edmonton Mall, which is the world second largest mall....
Great clean hotel, close to WEM and great restaurants.

We booked here last weekends and staffs are great. But the the only thing is the pool area and hot tub were too strong of chlorine. We just stayed only 5 minutes. My kids skin and I started irritated and started to itched.
Came to stay in this Hilton Garden Inn in the west side/suburbs of Edmonton and was very pleased with the friendly service, room (Suite with King bed + pullout bed/sofa) and the simple yet good food served in the Garden Grille on the first floor. Room was clean and comfortable, and allowed us a good amount of room to stretch out. The Garden Grille was a nice place to have a breakfast (omelette, pancakes...
Only stayed the one night. The room was very clean and organized. The bed was very comfortable and had a wonderful sleep. However we booked through hotels.com which states that this Hilton had bathrobes unfortunately explain to me by the front desk no Hilton provides bathrobes not that big of a deal but kind of a bummer. What they do advertise however is a hot tub pool and great service. The hot tub...
Staff was amazing!!! I travelled with my mom and 7 month baby and everyone was sooooo friendly and the food was fantastic!!
Alongside the hilton name I guess we had higher expectations. This hotel did not impress us at all. Although we were welcomed with friendly staff the rooms are very outdated and they could have been much cleaner. Our jacuzzi suite did not have robes and the tvs were small and were also in very awkward parts of the room. The breakfast could have been great if the chef wouldn't have majorly overcooked...
Bit of a late review, but our overall experience was great!! Check-in and out was smooth. The room looked and smelled clean, there were enough toiletries, and I appreciate the fridge and microwave being there (even if we didn't really use it, but good to know the next time we make a trip to Edmonton). Breakfast was good too.
