The Listel Hotel Vancouver

Excellent location with friendly staff and good quality services. The hotel is with an area that is full of restaurants and shops. It is also a walking distance to Stanley Park. It is accessible by car or bus.

Staff are friendly and helpful. They have complementary still and sparkling water stations on my floor as well as complementary served-to-room coffee. Room service is also excellent 👌 Our room on the 5th floor has a nice view of the street and little view of the ocean, which was great to see in the mornings.

My wife and I appreciate the nice art in the hotel. I also used their nice gym area. It is a highly recommended hotel for a short or long stay in Vancouver.

The best bed I have ever had in the hotel. Very clean, cozy and quiet stay. The washroom is a bit small but still okay. Close to many great restaurants with reasonable price!

Wonderful hotel in vibrant downtown, close to everything. Staff are amazing and great little touches like free french press coffee or specialty teas to your room in the am. Rooms are quiet but need a redecoration. Will be doing total 4 yr reno as of Nov 2024 but I hope they keep the staff and quality when they reopen.

Good room for the price. The service are good—they have wine hour for guests and our room was lucky enough to get free French-press coffee in the morning. The location is also great. It’s nearby many restaurants and not far from attractions. We didn’t have a car and travel by Uber so we didn’t have any issue with the parking (which the receptionist said it would be tough to find parking spots). I would recommend this hotel to anyone

A two night stay here was perfect! Loved the hotel art, location, and especially the complimentary French press morning coffee service to the room. The comfy bed was welcome after strolls along the Seawall and shopping on Robson. From check-in to housekeeping to staff at the attached pub, service was impeccable and with a smile. Great stay - we will be back!

Spent 3 nights here, very satisfied with the hotel. The beds were very comfortable, everything was clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Tap sparkling water on the floor was a nice feature.

I thought the free bike rentals that they provide would be available during my stay (end of March), but apparently it’s for summer only. It’s ok though, the hotel is in a convenient location and there are many bike rental shops around.

Would stay here again without hesitation!

I stay at the Listel Hotel four times a year with my work. The hotel is always clean, the staff friendly and the location one of the best. We are close to all that Robson Street has to offer and yet just beyond the hectic traffic of upper Robson. I have very early mornings and long days with my employer and the Listel is a quiet home for me while in Vancouver.

This past stay, I had the unfortunate luck of being in a room beside a group of people also on a work trip, gathering at the Listel for a meeting in one of the conference rooms. The group decided to end their meeting day with a gathering in the hotel room right next door to me. I couldn’t tell how many were in the room but it was a busy party by how it sounded to me when I arrived home from dinner at 900 pm. I hoped the party would quiet down by 10 pm when I needed to retire for my next day of work that would have me up at 6 am. By 10:15, it was apparent the people were not ready to quiet down. I knocked on the door and asked for them to quiet down, as I had to work the next morning. They did turn the loud music down a notch, but the loud laughter and talking ( yelling? ) continued. I called the front desk and asked them to intervene. They came up and asked the group to quiet down, which they did for about 10 minutes and then the volume started up worse yet. At 10:40 I called again and stressed that things had gotten loud again and to please intervene. A hotel employee came to the room again to talk to them, and then knocked on my door to let me know how he had insisted the noise must end. The noise did stop and the guests next door dispensed about 10 minutes later and I finally was able to sleep.

When I arrived home the next evening after work, the hotel staff had left me a bottle of wine in my room. I was so touched by their thoughtful gesture.

So the point of my review is, the Listel hotel staff truly care for there guests and will do what is required to accommodate all sorts of guests. I felt my needs were quickly heard and my request for help with the noisy neighbours was remedied as quick as they could.

Thank you Listel Hotel and Staff for your support. I hope my employer continues to book my work group here.
