We were happy staying here in April 25. Location is good and the ambiance of the hotel was very good. The house keeping service was also super as we asked for extra amenities and got them willingly. Many restaurants around the hotel are also excellent and just a 5-10 minutes walk to the shopping street.
Very friendly and helpful staffs, and got upgraded to a 2-bedrooms family suite. We were greeted everything we passed by the lobby. Walking distance to many nice restaurants and the decorations outside the hotel was amazing (esp the lights on the trees at night). Breakfast was top the top floor with a very nice view, however, limited seats available on the buffet area and need to walk some stair to...
Very good, next time visit Vancouver, I will stay there again
Great rooms with good service and living experience. Housekeeping is also nice everyday. Though booked a lower floor room, we still have been arranged in 19/F of the North Tower. The city view from the window is also good. It was such a nice experience of living here for a business trip.
The room was clean. Staff was friendly and the area was amazing & very convenient.
Staffs are Helpful, rooms is big , but a bit old fashion. Overall stay experience is good

Very, very nice. The rooms are very good and functional! The staff is very friendly. I loved the high tech elevator and had never seen anything like this.
We had a light dinner at Mosaic restaurant. It was quite good.
The only disappointment was the wine list at the bar. They feature wines from BC, but nothing from the premiere wine areas.
Real nice downtown hotel. Mostly business travel type hotel but it is a nice location. The staff is all very friendly and professional. There is a small pool/hot tub and gym here. They upgraded me as a globalist member to a bi-level suite which is amazingly nice.
My Dad and I had a wonderful time--the view was FANTASTIC, and the staff members are exceptional. The service level was amazing! I especially wanted to point out that Ben was very helpful to us during our trip. He answered several questions for us throughout our stay and gave us some wonderful recommendations that were really helpful in making our vacation so memorable.
Our room was immaculately clean...
We stayed at Hyatt for a conference which was also hosted in Hyatt. The rooms were lovely and a great location.
The staff went over and beyond to make sure the training ran as smoothly as possible. There were sometimes when the staff hadn't been proactive (where we requested something the day before and we then had to send the same request the next day) but all in all - great.
The only other complaint...
The location, the room, the beds and cleanliness of the hotel were all great.
Also, next door is a 24hr Tim Hortons and Mc Ds.. so those struggling with the time difference can always garb a snack (even at 3 AM).
Staff were fantastic, attentive and friendly. They gave us a room on the top floors because it was our honeymoon and some complimentary drinks. The city views were beautiful.
Overall, the room was modern, clean and spacious and the bed was comfortable. You can also stream from your device to the TV, which is a nice bonus!

Beautiful views of the city and waterfront. Great location for boarding our cruise. Delicious breakfast buffet, pricey but worth it. So convenient and relaxing we added another night's stay at the end of our cruise.
Housekeeping very attentive to details, great location walk distance to major shopping areas.
Good hotel with a reasonable management team👍. Their booking system with others plateforms’s connection needs to be improved.
It was a beautiful hotel, very clean and close distance to many shops and restaurants.
service was great we got into our hotel room early and with ease. the room was clean and had a fantastic view of the harbor and city
Service and hospitality was impecable.
I have stayed at the Pan Pacific when in Vancouver
For the past thirty years.

The hotel is located in the most prosperous area of Vancouver. The sea and the pier are right outside the window, and you can see the big cruise ship. It is very close to FlyOver Canada, just a few minutes' walk away, and 600 meters away from the Gastown Steam Clock. Very satisfied 👍
The location is very good, the transportation is convenient, the facilities are complete, the surrounding restaurants and shopping are convenient, and the steam clock is very close
I had an event at the Vancouver Convention Center and it was very convenient because it was very close to the street.
It was a low-rise city view, but it was cozy and felt good because I could see a small garden.
The facilities were clean and the staff was friendly, so I was satisfied.
Service: All are OK. It is a famous old hotel in Vancouver. It has an excellent location. It is surrounded by the city center. There are all kinds of food. There are all kinds of luxury stores around. Shopping is extremely convenient. It is close to the seaside. The scenery is beautiful. You can take a walk in the evening to overlook the surrounding sea view of Vancouver. It is very good! But the price...
My guests were very satisfied. The room was clean and tidy with a great view. The service was attentive and thoughtful. I look forward to my next reservation. The check-in was smooth and the check-out was convenient. I highly recommend it.
As soon as I entered the room, I was shocked by the beautiful view of the bay outside the floor-to-ceiling window! The sea and the sky are one color, so beautiful that it is breathtaking!
180° unbeatable sea view room, when you open your eyes in the morning, you will see the cruise ship and the snow-capped mountains, and the city lights are on at night, and it is super cool to see the night view....

The hotel is fine. But how come I found out it only cost me Cdn.$368 about $20 cheaper than I booked through you.
Front desk women was super kind, attentive and nice
Nice hotel, loved the heated outdoor pool and sauna as well as the breakfast buffet. Happy to come back.
The hotel is an older hotel but kept in great condition, it is a little like a resort with several bars, restaurants and pools to choose from. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The location next to Stanley Park and Coal Harbour is excellent and it is very close to Robson St restaurants.
Outstanding service at the hotel and both restaurants. Had a wonderful stay and recommend it for sure!
The hotel is located in a very nice location, we got a great view from our room. We were not very happy with the service though, as we arrived at the hotel, we weren’t greeted even though there were 3 people working at the valet nobody directed us where to park. I made eye contact with them but they just continued on chatting. Parking is also quite expensive ($45/ night for self-parking).

Great location central to Vancouver attractions. A short walk to the waterfront. In the heart of the upscale shopping district. Classic older property with all the charm that comes with that as well the limitations. Extremely limited counter space in the bathroom. Step in tub. Nice walk in closet. Front desk personnel very friendly but why is it so hard to get a copy of the final bill...still don...
I stay in Vancouver somewhat regularly for vacations and decided to try the Fairmont vs my usual stay at the Shangri-La. I walked away impressed and under a clear understanding that this is a well-managed property. While this is one of the few places I have no status (darn!), my family was still treated fabulously. I noted in the reservation that it was my sister’s birthday and they had desert and...
Really good location and great, helpful staff. Check-in/out took minutes.
The room was mostly okay. There was no bathtub in the room which was unfortunate considering there's also no hot tub, so no place to soak after a long day of walking. The A/C worked fine but it was in F, with no obvious way to change it which was annoying. The window was small, so not a lot of light and the walls are pretty...
We had booked two deluxe rooms for 4 nights! The booking process was incredible and the lady on the phone provided me all the available options while taking advantage of the caa discounts. This is a beautiful hotel the rooms are clean but a little basic. The bathrooms are very small. Great location. The lobby is beautiful. There was hair in the bathroom which was a little off putting. A great experience. Clean rooms- which is most important to us. Friendly service. Their restaurant is DELICIOUS! It is slated to be renovated and it needs it- it’s dated. Plus the shower had quite poor pressure. Would recommend if found on sale or as part of a package. Would not pay rack price.
I had a free night stay at the hotel on Dec. 6, 2019. The front desk staffs are nice. I complained about the heavy smell in my first room. I thought that there was not much they could do about it. But the management actually gave me a free upgrade to the top floor. It was so nice of them. It was a pleasant surprise for me. However, I did not like my bed as it was too soft for my weak back. I couldn...
Top level service and cleanliness. I feel compelled to point out that there is no physical spa on the premises, however there are spacious saunas in both the male and female locker rooms at the pool area. For those who seek out dumbbells & barbells, the gym equipment was great (multiple squat racks) but it shares space with the indoor part of the pool (and whatever noise & excitement is going on around...
Bedsheet was super soft and comforting. Excellent location. They have a seafood restaurant that serves the best tataki tuna and add a great happy hour to that!
Staff were so lovely and hospitable! The many personalized touches (like leaving a piece of birthday cake with a personal bday message in our room, for my husband) just made our stay that much more special. Beds were comfy, sheets were crisp, bathrooms were clean, room maintenance was excellent. Loved the heated indoor/outdoor pool! Take advantage of this hotel before it shuts down in a few months
This hotel earned 5 stars with ease. From the door man, to the front desk, to the concierge, and to the restaurant staff, each aspect was top notch. They were personable and addressed us warmly on each meeting. They certainly know how to make you feel at home.

Nice location, nearby shopping area and underground station. Cozy & tidy room. Highly recommended.
The hotel is conveniently located and the sky train is very fast.
The room was larger and cleaner than expected, and 2 bottles of water were replaced every day.
I use L'OCCITANE EN PROVENCE for shampoo, shower and conditioner.
Strategically located at downtown Vancouver, room is clean and equipped with quality toiletries.
Facilities were very good, clean spacious rooms, great views of the city and pool/hot tub area were nice as well. Highly recommend!
It was the best hotel I stayed at during my honeymoon. It was really nice and the facilities were very comfortable. I used the services well.
Due to the Banff wildfire, our schedule was changed temporarily. So we could only book a hotel in Vancouver. Surprisingly, we booked a good hotel. The location is convenient and the facilities are also new, probably renovated. The restaurant downstairs is a Michelin star, highly recommended.

The room is big and spacious . Bed and pillows are comfortable. The kitchen is a big plus for us since we stayed for 3 nights.
It is in a good location, near the bus stop and within walking distance to all good restaurants.
The only downside is it’s near the hospital so ambulance sirens can be bothersome.
Otherwise, it was a good and pleasant stay.

The executive room is good. Clean, with new facilities. The Asian receptionists are a bit cold and mean. When checking in, I asked politely if there were any rooms on higher floors, but they said there were none, only one on the fifth floor. I arrived early, but the hotel staff were very helpful. They used a translation to explain things to me, even though I'm not good at English.
The room was very clean and well-cleaned.
The bathtub was also clean and comfortable to use.
The amenities were Diptyque, so they smelled nice.
Check-out was also smooth.
The location is good, and I'd definitely like to stay here again if I come to Vancouver...
It can't be compared with Rosewood in China or Hong Kong, but it is already very good compared with other hotels in North America. I am willing to stay again. The location is also very good, convenient for travel, and Valet parking does not have to wait for a long time. It is comfortable overall.
We booked this hotel to stay in the city for our wedding weekend. We travel a lot and this was one of the best suites we have ever stayed in. Booked this property due to proximity to VGH. The staff was very accommodating as our stay was potentially variable due to nature of the procedures at hand.

Clean and spacious rooms in a really solid location. The price was very affordable and i would not hesitate to stay here again. The staff was very responsive at all hours of the day and allowed us to check in early. Classy historic hotel that maintained the historic decor, comfortable and roomy rooms, high quality meals, and thoroughly enjoyed the live music entertainment 2 nights. Fantastic location across from English Bay Beach, very close to Stanley Park and Granville Island in a safe neighborhood. Fans were provided due to the lack of air conditioning.
The brunch here is amazing. A great selection of items from the menu. The omelette and the eggs Benedict are to die for !
Staff are welcoming to us and we were seated almost as soon as we arrived. Our server help us with deciding what to order by giving some recommendations since it is our first time here. We enjoyed the foods we had and it felt very fulfilling.
Went for an evening nightcap. Loved the space! Tons of potential and cocktails were very good. Music was really bad. Would have liked some nice lounge music but I think they are underusing the space and should definitely have a piano player and lounge singer. That would elevate the whole experience. Great location and great space; they just need to work on ambiance.
Didn't see rooms, but dinner was fantastic. The view stunning. Now my favorite dining place for atmosphere. Had a 3 member jazz band.
Who could ask for a better location than the historic Sylvia Hotel. Right on English Bay, with views of the ocean and setting sun from the restaurant and lounge. Food and drinks were fantastic as is the cool vibe of the whole place. Only complaint might be water pressure that is low in the shower.

Although it is a three-star hotel, the software and service are far beyond this level. The location is great. The breakfast is a set menu, one of three choices, but you need to pay a tip. The taste is very good.
One of the cleanest hotels I have ever booked. The service, cleaners, and location are perfect.
The staff are very helpful and friendly. I have always enjoyed having a quick chat with them.
The room is comfortable, spacious, with a huge wardrobe! It also provides bottled water.
The location is great! Walking distance to many attractions!
The front desk staff is friendly and polite. The room is not too big, but it is comfortable. There is free bottled water in the room, as well as a coffee machine and tea bags, which is quite considerate. The hotel is in a very good location, with convenience stores and restaurants nearby. The only downside to the hotel review is that the toilet has a peculiar smell, which greatly deducted points.
Very good accommodation experience, the hotel is not big, the location is good, you can walk anywhere, very convenient, very close to the subway station to the train station, turn left and it is 30 meters away, the express line to the airport is not available, turn left and turn left again and walk for 10 minutes. The front desk service is enthusiastic and the room attendant has a good attitude.

Absolutely amazing, loved staying here. The nicest boutique hotel I have ever stayed and the staff were so friendly to approach and always happy to help. Great location to get around town.
This hotel is fantastic. The patio was huge, the bathroom had a deep soaking tub, a relaxing rainfall shower with very good hot water and pressure and the toilet is in a separate room from the tub/shower/sink. The high tea at their restaurant was SO GOOD and worth the price. There is no ice machine/snack machine or microwave in room which was fine because the location is right by tons of restaurants...
They let us check in a couple hours earlier and gave us a much unexpected upgrade! Very nice hotel in a great location. Staff are friendly. Valet parking (underground) is available at 38 CAD per 24 hours (2023 price). Can reach most places downtown by foot. Suite slightly small & sofabed not too comfortable. Air conditioning is good but a tad noisy. Overall, a pleasant stay.

It's clean and the location is good. But certainly it does not live up to the expectation. The building is old and it has clearly not being renovated in a long time. Rooms are not only small, but tiny. Staff at the desk is very helpful and friendly.
Room was very small, barely enough space to move around. Room did not have a safe, and front desk safes are not big enough for laptops or tablets, so beware. Elevator had issues. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable and the pillows were firm.
On the main drag per say in Vancouver, not a far walk from major attractions such as the steam clock, Canada place, etc. Need a key card to access the front door- once checked in
Elevator was broken all weekend so they put us on the second floor in a super small room where the heater didn't work. Second room on the same floor was much bigger and the heater worked. Clean bed. No view. Close to everything including the seabus. Would stay here again but on a higher floor to get a view. Staff are all very nice. The free breakfast is enough to get the day going.
