West End Guest House

Wonderful guesthouse with warm and inviting staff. Clean and well situated in Vancouver, we were able to walk to most places from this centrally located house. Rooms are amazing and well kept. Breakfasts are superb and the experience was wonderful. Especially loved our private courtyard to relax and unwind. Also loved that it was located one block from Robson Street where there were plenty of restaurants to choose from.

Love, Love, Love, this B&B! West end is located in central down town Vancouver with 5 mins walk to Robson street, and easy short walks in many other directions and attractions in Vancouver. There are many restaurants and cafes within 5-20 mins walk. The breakfast is amazing with daily fresh baked goods, a fruit bowl and a main dish. They will accommodate your dietary needs! The butler's pantry is such a nice touch, where you can always find yummy baked goods, and a wide selection of hot and cold drinks. The living and dining rooms are beautifully decorated, warm, and inviting at all hours of the day and a great place to meet and befriend other travelers. The rooms are very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The staff is amazing, always very attentive and helpful! There are several great outdoor seating areas to enjoy a quiet reading time and beautiful gardens. It is also great to have free parking on the premisses.

Amazing location, staff, and home. No AC and rooms are not perfect, but it is an old house. We would stay here again, everything was so walkable and easy to get to - and the neighborhood is incredibly safe.

The West End Guest House is a really wonderful bed & breakfast in the heart of Vancouver. This was our first time in Vancouver and Paul was such a gracious, wonderful host who spent time sharing the history and vision of the house with us.

The house itself was cozy and inviting. We loved the breakfast (with homemade pastries) and the fireplace. The entire staff made our visit perfect with lots of little touches including providing excellent local food recommendations.

The house is located within easy walking distance of many attractions and neighborhoods including Stanley Park, the seawall, Robson and more.

I've stayed at WEGH several times over the past 30 years or so. Each time has been a special experience, and the current owners Paul and David have upheld that tradition. This is a true bed-and-breakfast, with delightful rooms, exceptional service and a welcoming atmosphere. It's the perfect alternative to big-city hotels, yet it's convenient to great shopping and dining, along with attractions like Stanley Park. While Vancouver's West End has grown and changed over the years, the Guest House remains a quiet oasis amid a bustling and beautiful city.
