The breakfast Menu was good but just found that there was not an adequate enough refill on a lot of the items. Overall it was good.

A pleasant holiday and good memories in Shanghai especially stay in this hotel. Room cleaningness, staffs polite manner. Variety choice of breakfast , overall very good experience while stay in this hotel.

This Hotel has good basic facilities - great for a 3 star hotel. The buffet breakfast has a lot of variety, even though the quality is also three star. They have a cooking station for eggs, mini wontons and noodle soups. The receptionists have poor English and sometimes do not tell you the right time that the tour guide picks you up but they try to help as much as they can when you see them in person...

Holiday Inn in every place in the world is more or less the same, nothing to complain as it is a standard

It was comfortable and clean with a western toilet... Staff is friendly and accommodating... Very helpful when you need something... They spoke English so it wasn't hard to communicate... Buffet style breakfast was great (nothing American though)... Location was not the best but it is near several fast food places and a train station...

Needs a Little better upkeep and eye for detail ...... hand shower in the shower cubicle in my room was leaking during my stay ..... couple of bulbs in the room were non functional ..... service was good staff were helpful

Rooms were very small. First room I stayed in was nice and clean but the second room had pretty gross bathroom, and the flush didn't work very well. The laundry machine was clogged with tons of powered detergent, and the service was not great. It was passable, but not for the amounts of money they charged.

Stayed in late March while visiting my daughter who is attending Shanghai University Yanchang campus. Perfect location to the campus and the metro. Enjoyed my stay immensely. Wonderful friendly staff, clean modern room and the free breakfast was a perfect way to start the day.

we absolutely loved this hotel. the only peeve is there's no room view, if not i would give another star. it's a gem amongst the old neighbourhood beside the highway. totally lousy location but then we were shocked when we stepped inside. modern, clean, peaceful, friendly. good breakfast spread. room design totally cool, using mirrors partition to block the toilet. smart.

What is good about this hotel is that it's very close to downtown you can read (Oriental Pearl Tv Tower). Good IHG elite stauts recognition, upgraded room, nice breakfast, good location for this area, just few min from subway station. Breakfast was good for this brand. Good hotel option to serve your basic needs.

Holiday Inn Express Shanghai Tangzhen was an awesome place for overnight stay and catching up next day flight at Pudong International Airport. It was clean, quiet, safe, with a lot of shopping and dining options nearby. Very close to subway station with direct access to Pudong International Airport and Hongqiao Railway Station. The only downside was that the room wasn't spacious.

As of October 2019, this Holiday Inn Express feels very new and fresh. I was impressed by the cleanliness and upkeep of the place. The staff were genuinely welcoming and friendly, and their level of English surpassed my expectations. As a Platinum member, I was given a nice room upgrade and a welcome gift with snacks inside. The room itself was comfortable and spacious, and everything worked well....

We stayed here for two weeks during the summer and it was terrific. Maid service was excellent along with the front desk. There were also many Eastern and Western styled choices for breakfast. We were also happy that it was conveniently located close to Tangzhen subway station. Highly recommended!

Very good hotel with good facilities. Has good rooms with efficient room service. They use robots to deliver water bottles. They have gym a d conference rooms. It also has laundry machines which is free for hotel customers. It has heater in the ground floor which gives you warm welcome. It has continental breakfast with lots of options. The hotel is conveniently located in Jinqiao and it is a good breathing space for foreigners to relax. Has a basic, but good gym, and staff are friendly.

Clean hotel. All good sites are walking distance since its pretty much in the center. No money changer so you have to go to Westin close by to change money through an ATM. Better rates there than airport.

They don't have a bank account for wire transfer. Only pay in cash and credit card. Good service. The bar for tea, coffee and hot drinks closes down at 7:30 PM. Excellent room service w/ laundry service.

Newly renovated hotel and it has good amenities. Quite comfortable. 15 minutes walk to most point of interests or hiring a bike is recommended
