3 star hotels in Shanghai

Clean hotel. All good sites are walking distance since its pretty much in the center. No money changer so you have to go to Westin close by to change money through an ATM. Better rates there than airport.

Modern, clean, simple design and interior. Well maintained, clean, and tasteful rooms. Friendly staff. Feels very much like many of the modern hotels in Northern Europe. Definitely will stay here again. Only minus - Internet weak in our room (which was at the very end of the hall)

You will love this hotel. French feeling. Location, breakfast, room condition, and almost everything was great. Definitely I will stay again when I visit Shanghai.

They don't have a bank account for wire transfer. Only pay in cash and credit card. Good service. The bar for tea, coffee and hot drinks closes down at 7:30 PM. Excellent room service w/ laundry service.

Newly renovated hotel and it has good amenities. Quite comfortable. 15 minutes walk to most point of interests or hiring a bike is recommended

I stay Aloft this January for 7 days. A Special thanks to their staff who took care and helped me while I had a problem with the language and currency. I can never expect such kindness in ANY other country. The design of the hotel is very futuristic with a huge reception and buffet area. Very good hotel with good facilities. Has good rooms with efficient room service. They use robots to deliver water bottles. They have gym a d conference rooms. It also has laundry machines which is free for hotel customers. It has heater in the ground floor which gives you warm welcome. It has continental breakfast with lots of options. Some downsides are No swimming pool. No vegitarian option...

I stayed at this location for business. The hotel is located 10 minutes walk from the Zhongke Rd station on line 13. The room was specious with a little desk, sofa, and TV. The AC/heat is so quiet. The wall outlets next to the bed had adapters built in and had two USB ports. It was just so convenient to be able to plug my computer and phone. Newly built, design-oriented hotel, not too big. Beautiful rooms, spacious bathroom with walk-in shower. WLAN free of charge but filtered as usual in China i.e. all Google applications do not work. Extensive breakfast buffet as usual in Asia. Staff friendly but not everyone speaks English. In total a recommendable 4* hotel. Very pleasant hotel with excellent Chinese and western breakfast, freshly cooked. Big and modern rooms with rainforest showers and comfy beds, excellent service throughout. About 5 mins walk from the metro.

Spend dinner time in holiday inn. Putuo, service is all right

Rooms clean, fridge never worked because it would turn off when you left the room. Found the front desk service was more kind to foreigners then local people.

It was a nice surprise, we went early and the rooms were ready, didn't have to wait till check in time. The staff upgraded us to a bigger room, although the room was a little uncomfortable with stairs. Altogether all was nice, the location was terrific. Would stay there again

Rooms were clean and very quickly serviced and cleaned daily. Location was great, right next to East Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street and the Bund. Felt safe even though it was a short walk into the alley.

The area looks horrific but the hotel is really nice. Worth the price

Good location and kind service~!!

Hard to get to... but GREAT little place to stay. Rooms are fresh and updated. Onsite resturant is nice and staff is eagar to help. Front desk staff is also very accommodating. When they called a taxi for us, tjey would walk us out to the main road to make sure the taxi knew where the hotel is (its hard to access from main road) and tell them exactly where we want go.

Cheap rooms, good place

Needs a Little better upkeep and eye for detail ...... hand shower in the shower cubicle in my room was leaking during my stay ..... couple of bulbs in the room were non functional ..... service was good staff were helpful

Rooms were very small. First room I stayed in was nice and clean but the second room had pretty gross bathroom, and the flush didn't work very well. The laundry machine was clogged with tons of powered detergent, and the service was not great. It was passable, but not for the amounts of money they charged.

5 mins walking to a Indian restaurant. Good business hotel. Clean rooms. Buffet breakfast is available. Have to pay extra 29 RMB if you book room online. Very close to shopping mall, banks, and restaurants. But rooms are too small. Bathroom is small but sufficient for a business traveller. The breakfast Menu was good but just found that there was not an adequate enough refill on a lot of the items. Overall it was good.

In the heart of shanghai. A really good hotel

This Hotel has good basic facilities - great for a 3 star hotel. The buffet breakfast has a lot of variety, even though the quality is also three star. They have a cooking station for eggs, mini wontons and noodle soups. The receptionists have poor English and sometimes do not tell you the right time that the tour guide picks you up but they try to help as much as they can when you see them in person...

Holiday Inn in every place in the world is more or less the same, nothing to complain as it is a standard
