Top notch hotel in Pudong. The service is incredible! I really appreciate the diversity of breakfast options and the pool is absolutely amazing.

So pretty, we stayed in a really nice suite and it was a great experience. The breakfast buffet and cocktail hour (for diamond members) against a beautiful chinese tea garden completes the stay.

Very nice hotel. Breakfast does have a lot of choices - first and second mornings seem about the same. Personally, I wouldn't spend that kind of money on breakfast, but, on that I was not decision maker. Lots of different fruits, homemade jams, fresh breads, yogurts, etc. etc. Skip the muffins - not that tasty .... At all. Very nice swimming pool and exercise room. Staff are helpful and friendly...

My favorite Doubletree. I always get a free upgrade to an executive suite in the East Wing. The garden is beautiful and the Executive Lounge access is a big plus.

Stayed 2 times in 1 week and in both instances, was upgraded to a complimentary suite with my diamond status. Had a bit if time hunting down the new exec lounge, not realizing that they had a new one elsewhere.

City view room in olriginal building was superb, not juat the view l. I am tall so large bath was much appreciated, everything worked well. Breakfast amazing, Jade Lounge bar at t op of new building classy, overall this lived up to the 5 star experience promised!

If Shanghai, then exclusively in Shangri-La in Pudong. It was one of the first hotels in the region. The especially exclusive area in the old building truly has an indescribable charm. The only thing you can't take home with you is the fantastic smell of the hotel. We did ask about it, you can actually buy it, but at $200 a bottle, we left it with a memory.

Great hotel in Pudong business district. From the hotel you can go to the embankment with a beautiful view of the opposite bank of the Bund, at night it is especially good to walk there. The service is good, but I always have to request housekeeping service when I'm there for several days. I go out shopping for a few hours and return to find that my room has not been cleaned...I always have to call and request that my room be cleaned. This service should be automatic in such a high-end 5 star hotel, as lone as the do not disturb sign is not on.

Very good hotel where for a low budget you can have a service apartment it has a pool and sauna and sport facilities and convenient located close to Metro and large shopping mall and the French consession. And the front desk speaks reasonable English.

The Marriott city center hotel is a great hotel in Shanghai. It is located in the wangpu area with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The lounge is great if you can get in. The staff is very helpful. I would definitely go back

The hotel is very clean and comfortable, supplies are great. Location is complicated, it's close to everything, but not as easy to get a cab especially at working traffic hours. Service is not as professional as Marriott hotels.

It is great hotel with excellent services, well located for public transport and within easy walking distant to the famous Jing'An Temple. The facilities and general decor could do with some updating though and it is on the expensive side.

St. Regis Shanghai Jingan is the best property in St. Regis, which I had the pleasure of experiencing. The staff are friendly and attentive and the butler team goes above and beyond. A morning wake-up call with an espresso in hand, a hearty breakfast buffet and some of the best views in Shanghai are all here! It's only two years old and is brand new itself and everything looks right.

Very nice, as one would expect. Definitely a little bit older than some other upscale hotels in China and the breakfast was also not as spectacular as others at this price point. Service is great and the location is also good. The decor is a little bit dated. There's certainly nothing to complain about, but for the price point you might be able to find better. The location of the hotel was very good and easily accessible to public transport and eateries nearby. Just want to compliment the Duty Manager ( I forgot to get his name) who assisted me promptly in activating the ambulance and led the paramedics to our room to rush my husband who was in high fever and shivering violently in the room to nearby hospital.

I travel to Shanghai a few times a year and always stay at the Sheraton. Service is always good and I normally get upgraded. This trip is the best upgrade thus far. They always earn my business.
