Pudong Shangri-La, Shanghai
Shanghai, No 33 Fucheng Road 🧭 Map
City view room in olriginal building was superb, not juat the view l. I am tall so large bath was much appreciated, everything worked well. Breakfast amazing, Jade Lounge bar at t op of new building classy, overall this lived up to the 5 star experience promised!
Professional and helpful staff;
The lounge is a good option for some food and drinks, great view from 21st floor facing the Bund!;
Location and facilities are great!
If Shanghai, then exclusively in Shangri-La in Pudong. It was one of the first hotels in the region. The especially exclusive area in the old building truly has an indescribable charm. The only thing you can't take home with you is the fantastic smell of the hotel. We did ask about it, you can actually buy it, but at $200 a bottle, we left it with a memory.
Great hotel in Pudong business district. From the hotel you can go to the embankment with a beautiful view of the opposite bank of the Bund, at night it is especially good to walk there. The standard breakfast at Yi Cafe on the second floor of the tower (the hotel consists of an older building called the River Wing and a skyscraper tower) is one of the best breakfasts I have ever tried in hotels -...
The service is good, but I always have to request housekeeping service when I'm there for several days. I go out shopping for a few hours and return to find that my room has not been cleaned...I always have to call and request that my room be cleaned. This service should be automatic in such a high-end 5 star hotel, as lone as the do not disturb sign is not on.
Everything was great! The staff people were polite and friendly everywhere in the hotel, Rita in the gift shop, the ladies and gents at registration, the concierge guys, the bellmen, the breakfast restaurant staff, the Exchange Grill staff, and the exercise area staff. The room was very clean and comfortable, nicely furnished. The exercise equipment was very good and I enjoyed laps in the pool,...

DoubleTree by Hilton Shanghai Pudong - Present welcome cookie
Shanghai, No.889, Yang Gao Nan Road 🧭 Map
Top notch hotel in Pudong. The service is incredible!
I really appreciate the diversity of breakfast options and the pool is absolutely amazing.
So pretty, we stayed in a really nice suite and it was a great experience. The breakfast buffet and cocktail hour (for diamond members) against a beautiful chinese tea garden completes the stay.
Very nice hotel. Breakfast does have a lot of choices - first and second mornings seem about the same. Personally, I wouldn't spend that kind of money on breakfast, but, on that I was not decision maker. Lots of different fruits, homemade jams, fresh breads, yogurts, etc. etc.
Skip the muffins - not that tasty .... At all.
Very nice swimming pool and exercise room.
Staff are helpful and friendly...
My favorite Doubletree. I always get a free upgrade to an executive suite in the East Wing. The garden is beautiful and the Executive Lounge access is a big plus.
Stayed 2 times in 1 week and in both instances, was upgraded to a complimentary suite with my diamond status. Had a bit if time hunting down the new exec lounge, not realizing that they had a new one elsewhere.

Rayfont Downtown Hotel Shanghai
Shanghai, No.7 Zhaojiabang Road 🧭 Map
Stayed there for 5 weeks, good rooms, nice swimming pool and a great balcony in the 31st floor. Just need to renew some parts but a perfect price for a long term stay.
Very reasonably priced if you book on line outside of China. Daily maid service. Relatively good privacy. From my observation the majority of the patrons are non Chinese citizens.
The restaurant on the second floor stinks big time though, filthy, smelly, etc., reminds me the worst Chinese restaurants in the rural areas in the states.
On the plus side, the shared courtyard (with the neighboring several...
Very good hotel where for a low budget you can have a service apartment it has a pool and sauna and sport facilities and convenient located close to Metro and large shopping mall and the French consession. And the front desk speaks reasonable English.

Shanghai Marriott Marquis City Centre
Shanghai, 555 Middle Xizang Road (Close to Nanjing Road) 🧭 Map
I was staying at the hotel because the function I was attending was located there. That being said, I am glad because I had a really enjoyable stay. The room, executive lounge, and spa amenities were wonderful. While it was sometimes difficult to communicate with staff in English, the staff really tried their best to address any needs. (And I think it was hard to explain my vegan diet more on a conceptual...
Above-average upscale western style hotel in the heart of downtown Shanghai. Good access to shopping transportation and local city center sites. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed. The internet is not as fast as it should be but works reasonably well. Rooms and common areas are clean and up-to-date. Recommended for your stay in downtown Shanghai.
The best characteristic of the hotel is the location. It's central to anywhere you would want to go in Shanghai. The service was great, room was clean, and had all the conveniences of the United States. There are universal plugs built into the outlets. Tours, although typically more expensive can be arranged through the concierge. Tipping your tour guides and drivers is about the only tipping that...
Location is good and walking distance from Nanjing Road, multiple options of Asian food during the Buffet breakfast
The Marriott city center hotel is a great hotel in Shanghai. It is located in the wangpu area with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The lounge is great if you can get in. The staff is very helpful. I would definitely go back
The Marriotts here are very nice. Clean, great reception desk, fast internet and comfortable beds. Definitely would come back.

Great place to stay when staying in Shanghai. Great, fast and kind concierge service. The staff really helped organise our stay!
Classy hotel. Pricy, but my rate was ok. Great, great, great breakfast. Many rooms woth a view of the Bund
Nice location to visit, relatively reasonable prices of rooms and facilities including swimming pools
Beautifully furnished and serviced large fully equipped rooms. Stunning lobby and bar. Fantastic views from rooms and bar. Great reception and concierge service. Very highly recommended.

The Kunlun Jing An
Shanghai, 250 Hua Shan Road 🧭 Map
Nice, comfortable hotel. the strong point of this hotel is the location In fact it is a stone's throw from the JingAn temple
This is not Hilton hotel anymore. It is now changed to Kunlun hotel.
The 30-year Hilton at this location has become history.
When opened around 1988, Hilton hotel was once a legendary site for dine and wine as well as accommodation.
First rate accommodations, staff and killer buffets for breakfast and lunch. Great location. Walking distance in one direction to a gorgeous tree-canopied park containing a man-made lake and a first class Thai restaurant. Subway station, major brand shopping nearby. Walk in the other direction and find beautiful gated residences and a little further to the French Concession neighborhood. It's...
The hotel is very clean and comfortable, supplies are great. Location is complicated, it's close to everything, but not as easy to get a cab especially at working traffic hours. Service is not as professional as Marriott hotels.
Very exclusive hotel. The breakfast in the hotel was good, but the price 290RMB!!!! Lost a star there!
It is great hotel with excellent services, well located for public transport and within easy walking distant to the famous Jing'An Temple. The facilities and general decor could do with some updating though and it is on the expensive side.

Renaissance Shanghai Zhongshan Park Hotel
Shanghai, No. 1018 Changning Road 🧭 Map
+ Almost city center (a lot of restaurants and shopping malls around).
+ View from the bathroom.
+ Reception brought a birthday cake for me. It was very sweet and surprising, considering the fact that my birthday was 6 month ago.
The check in process was quick and efficient. The room had a smokey smell even though it's a non-smoking room.
A place in the city centre with easy access to malls in the same building and metro station in the basement. Friendly staff who can speak good English & amazing city view from the hotel rooms
Good location next to a major mall and subway station. Walking distance to restaurants and only half hour from Hongqiao Airport and high speed train station. Service was top notch and views are awesome especially from the top floor lounge.
A good place located conveniently with a mall and metro station adjacent. The view from higher floors is amazing.. The staff are very friendly and can communicate in English. The in house restaurant options are limited. Rooms are spacious and contemporary.
Located directly beside Cloud Nine shopping mall which connects to the Zongshan metro station. The rooms are clean and well maintained. You may get a good room view of Shanghai city since it's 58-stories. Small drawback, the sound proofing can be slightly better.

The location was absolutely perfect. Just down the road and across the bride you were at the Bund. The rooms had lots of space and the service was really good. Great facilities and great meals.
Amazing view. To get to the rooftop you will need to order at least one drink of your choice (from what I remember it was around 100 RMB per drink). Worth it!!!! I'll be back as soon as I get back to Shanghai ☻
The hotel is very cheerful and beautiful. Near the shopping center. Full range of services: swimming pool, restaurant, fitness, bar, living room, etc. The room is good. You can see the city of Shanghai from above. Polite and good service. Recommended.
The place we stayed was amazing and very tidy. The entire staff is very educated and educated. Thank you so much.
Overall a great experience. The rooftop bar offers stunning waterfront views and serves cocktails. 5 stars
I went to a bar overlooking the waterfront Hyatt. This is a restaurant with a view at night, a restaurant with a view. Some have jacuzzis and foot baths. It would be nice to visit and enjoy when you want to create an atmosphere while enjoying a night view of Shanghai. Enough to leave unforgettable memories of Shanghai. Great location for sightseeing around Shanghai. The staff at the Ritz went above and beyond to ensure that we had an amazing stay, with particular attention paid to our memo regarding my parents' wedding anniversary. They left ballons, cake and a note to wish them a Happy anniversary. Friendly and attentive staff who will do anything to help ensure your needs are met!
superb hospitality, staff couldn’t be any more helpful, excellent breakfast - I’ve rebooked for later this month! excellent gym!
Very nice, as one would expect. Definitely a little bit older than some other upscale hotels in China and the breakfast was also not as spectacular as others at this price point. Service is great and the location is also good. The decor is a little bit dated. There's certainly nothing to complain about, but for the price point you might be able to find better. That said, I haven't stayed at other places...
Loved my stay. I was treated very special from the moment I checked in until I checked out. The hotel staff is friendly and courteous, constantly leaving me presents and sight seeing suggestions. The hotel is luxurious and the city is safe and clean. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
Very conveniently located. Close to many shoppong malls, restaurants and especially to Jiangan Temple. Rooms aren't as nice as I expected but ok.
Totally worth it for my business trip..

Many weekends were spent relaxing there. This is a great hotel, good value, generous amenities. the only opinion is that the check-in and check-out time is unacceptably long.
Amazing place to stay. Especially for Indians as they have a great Indian chef. The rooms are large and spacious and the stay here is very comfortable. They have a SPA, gym and swimming pool as well as a tennis court.
A very comfortable and pleasant stay. Rooms were excellent and service was great. Food option were great even for a vegetarian in China. Staff was very helpful and provided assistance for travel and taxi. Location is excellent.
Nice hotel. All the options for breakfast; europeian, Japanese, Korean and Chinese of course. Rooms very large and nice beds. A bit on the hard side, but if that is what you fancy, it is your thing. Check in an check out service swift and to the point, no delays. Overall a nice place to stay with your colleagues, friends and family.
Gym’s pretty legit. It’s located in Tower 2, 3rd floor. Tower 2 is basically towards the right side looking at the front desk. The only downside, theres no bottled water here.
The front office is very friendly and helpful. Very good customer service. Breakfast has a very good range of food. The Chinese restaurant at the lobby is not very customer service minded though, also not all can speak English in this restaurant. This hotel is big. Big room also. Sheraton Grand Shanghai Pudong Hotel & Residences
Shanghai, No.38 Pujian Road 🧭 Map
The location of the hotel was very good and easily accessible to public transport and eateries nearby. Just want to compliment the Duty Manager ( I forgot to get his name) who assisted me promptly in activating the ambulance and led the paramedics to our room to rush my husband who was in high fever and shivering violently in the room to nearby hospital.
I travel to Shanghai a few times a year and always stay at the Sheraton. Service is always good and I normally get upgraded. This trip is the best upgrade thus far. They always earn my business.
We got upgraded to a suite, and I really must say this hotel left a very good impression on me. Clean and comfortable rooms, nice pool (no jakuzi), very well equipped gym with view on the beautiful inner garden, and a lounge on the 37th view great view over Pudong district. Very recommendable.
Great hotel. Impressive lobby. The room is very comfortable and definitely worth the rates. Good facilities too. If you take the subway, go towards Exit 3 and you will see the hotel when you are above ground. It is just a bit far from downtown Puxi.
Great hotel location in Pudong with Line 4 metro just in front of the hotel. There is a mall besides the hotel where you can eat and shop, very convenient indeed.

The hotel was a nice stay for my family and I! The breakfast spread was fabulous! In the evening, the park across the street, a group of locals meet there to dance. Nicely, walking by, they invited my wife and kids to participate in their dance and got a big ovation. Would go back in a heart beat!
The view from hotel room was very fabulous, Great rooms, nice food and friendly staff. You need to book this hotel in advance as it is always busy in season time
We didn’t stay at this hotel but visited for dinner at ‘Epicure on 45’; the revolving restaurant located on the 45th floor of the hotel’s iconic tower. This tower is visible all over Shanghai and, in return, the 360 degree views from the restaurant are spectacular.
Whilst the views are definitely worthy of a 5-star review, the dining experience was more of a 3-star affair. Staff were unenthusiastic...
---VEG OK!---
Roof restaurant built on a rotating platform that allows an astonishing view of the whole Shanghai downtown. Nice food, abundant portions, pretty expensive. Extremely nice experience, especially overnight.
On the top floor very nice club.
The hotel is in a very attractive location in terms of transport accessibility, close to the metro station. I really liked the hotel itself, good cleaning every day. There is a panoramic restaurant on the 45th floor. You don’t have to take breakfast; there are a bunch of cafes and restaurants within a five-minute walk.

Clean rooms located in a busy area. I have problems because the bathtub is transparent. I took a taxi from Longyang Road Station on the linear train, but the back and forth journey changed three times. Picking up from the hotel is safe for landing from the hotel parking lot. Be careful when driving from Longyang Road Station.
The staff is helpful and friendly. The room had a beautiful view of the bay and the bed and sheets were comfortable. Located in the very center, excellent accessibility. The buffet restaurant was also good, there was a lot of choice, the food was great.
Definitely the best choice to come to Shanghai Nice environment, delicious food, convenient shopping Large and cozy room
Very nice hotel. Awesome room with a great view! Amazing breakfast that is included! Only downside is there is construction on the first 9 floors so those are currently closed. Also, the clubs/ bars on the top floors are not very used, so not a lot of people in them.
View from the room is good (of course not from the lower floors). Service is excellent. During the daytime and if you have not turned on DND, the housekeeping crew will make rounds asking if you need anything.
Location is excellent as well, next to the People's Park and shopping malls nearby, and next to the pedestrian walkway that will lead you all the way to the Bund.
Service is good in general and location is great. Hotel itself is comfy and clean but very old and supplies (like shampoo, conditioner, etc.) are not as ideal.
