Top notch hotel in Pudong. The service is incredible! I really appreciate the diversity of breakfast options and the pool is absolutely amazing.

Lots of different fruits, homemade jams, fresh breads, yogurts, etc. Skip the muffins - not that tasty. Very nice swimming pool and exercise room. Staff are helpful and friendly

Stayed 2 times in 1 week and in both instances, was upgraded to a complimentary suite with my diamond status. Had a bit if time hunting down the new exec lounge, not realizing that they had a new one elsewhere.

So pretty, we stayed in a really nice suite and it was a great experience. The breakfast buffet and cocktail hour (for diamond members) against a beautiful chinese tea garden completes the stay.

My favorite Doubletree. I always get a free upgrade to an executive suite in the East Wing. The garden is beautiful and the Executive Lounge access is a big plus.

I did walk took nice shopping center - less than half a mile away - Starbucks and other coffee places, grocery store. Not in city center, but nice location. Marble bathrooms are beautiful, but

Great hotel in Pudong business district. From the hotel you can go to the embankment with a beautiful view of the opposite bank of the Bund, at night it is especially good to walk there

The standard breakfast at Yi Cafe on the second floor of the tower (the hotel consists of an older building called the River Wing and a skyscraper tower) is one of the best breakfasts I have ever tried in hotels - without exaggeration a huge choice, different cuisines, high quality products of their preparation

If Shanghai, then exclusively in Shangri-La in Pudong. It was one of the first hotels in the region. The especially exclusive area in the old building truly has an indescribable charm

The only thing you can't take home with you is the fantastic smell of the hotel. We did ask about it, you can actually buy it, but at $200 a bottle, we left it with a memory

The staff is very professional and friendly. All in all, one of the best options to stay in Shanghai

The service is good, but I always have to request housekeeping service when I'm there for several days. I go out shopping for a few hours and return to find that my room has not been cleaned

Breakfast menu is perfect for Indian vegetarian visitors. Near to Subway if you want to travel to local places. Most of the Staff can understand and reply in English

Slighlty dated rooms however food and service excellent and location is handy to local shops and metro network

Very good hotel where for a low budget you can have a service apartment it has a pool and sauna and sport facilities and convenient located close to Metro and large shopping mall and the French consession

Stayed there for 5 weeks, good rooms, nice swimming pool and a great balcony in the 31st floor. Just need to renew some parts but a perfect price for a long term stay.

And the front desk speaks reasonable English

Very reasonably priced if you book on line outside of China. From my observation the majority of the patrons are non Chinese citizens. The restaurant on the second floor stinks big time though, filthy, smelly, etc

On the plus side, the shared courtyard (with the neighboring several condo buildings) is pedestrian only and even provide a playground for the kids, which is a rarity in crowded downtown Shanghai

, reminds me the worst Chinese restaurants in the rural areas in the states

(And I think it was hard to explain my vegan diet more on a conceptual or cultural level than them not understanding my English ?) There were walkable sights (an awesome sculpture garden is less than a mile away) and I had a great view of the city from my room

I was staying at the hotel because the function I was attending was located there. That being said, I am glad because I had a really enjoyable stay. The room, executive lounge, and spa amenities were wonderful

Good hotel to stay in Shanghai. Professional and friendly staff. Near to a convenience store which makes your stay more comfortable. Great breakfast selection at Shanghai Bistro and nice executive lounge.

The mattress was great, the bath was great, and I loved the steam room in the gym facilities. The executive lounge had a fairly good selection of food multiple times a day, but breakfast was my favorite!

We stayed here for 2 nights prior to a cruise from Wusongkou port. Location is great, in the heart of Shanghai. The service in the lounge was exceptional led by the French born manager

The Marriott city center hotel is a great hotel in Shanghai. It is located in the wangpu area with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The lounge is great if you can get in

Amazing place. Large rooms, beds are good. Breakfast is nice, with good variations of food. everything you need is close by. This will be my new home away from home in shanghai.

Very quiet in the evening and overlooking the river. Suitable for jogging in the early morning. You can find many activities nearby in Lujiazhui area

Classy hotel. Pricy, but my rate was ok. Great, great, great breakfast. Many rooms woth a view of the Bund

I stayed in this hotel for 15 days last July. The overall service was pretty good. The breakfast buffet was very good also. It has both Chinese and western food. The restaurant within served delicious food

The room service was quick and the maids were polite. I already recommended my colleague to stay in the same hotel. The only thing that not perfect is the size of the room. It was much smaller than Hilton in Suzhou

Staff knows how to make you feel very welcome & resolve any issues of the day very quickly. The Executive Lounge on the 38th floor is one of the absolute best in the entire world

And the hotel bar on the 39th floor has fantastic Shanghai nighttime views, live lounge music, & ability to order anything from the room service menu directly to your table

Probably the Shanghai Hilton was built many year ago and the one in Suzhou was build last year

First rate accommodations, staff and killer buffets for breakfast and lunch. Walking distance in one direction to a gorgeous tree-canopied park containing a man-made lake and a first class Thai restaurant

While the hotel is still a little quiet due to being new, the staff are attentive and caring without being overbearing. The club lounge is excellent and has good selection of food and beverage served throughout the day

The hotel location is down the river, a little outside the main Pudong hub. It makes it a little quieter but not too far to be a hassle. The BEST thing is the robots! They deliver things to your room

Bring back some orange juice after gym is nice idea~ The Breakfast in the Merchant restaurant with various choice, was crowed but acceptable. We request for the bath salt which delivered by Robot is cute!

Service was great at the desk and each bar and restaurant. English spoken at each location with a little challenge as the bars. Beautiful rooms overlooking the Hangpu River

I went to a bar overlooking the waterfront Hyatt. This is a restaurant with a view at night, a restaurant with a view. Some have jacuzzis and foot baths

Regis Shanghai Jingan is the best property in St. Regis, which I had the pleasure of experiencing. The staff are friendly and attentive and the butler team goes above and beyond

Notes for visitors: Taxi travel time to Pudong airport minimum 45 Minutes in case of low traffic , better to consider at least 60-70 minutes to be on the safe side. Taxi may cost between CNY 180 (day) and 300 (night)

The hotel is really awesome, especially if you get one of the rooms on top. Beware that the hotel is quite a bit outside of the city center, but close to the neighboring company offices and facilities

Thus it is mainly frequented by business travelers. Rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable. There was a free mini bar in the room. There is a free shuttle service to the maglev that no one uses

Amazing place to stay. Especially for Indians as they have a great Indian chef. The rooms are large and spacious and the stay here is very comfortable. They have a SPA, gym and swimming pool as well as a tennis court.

TV show quality is not good although cable is available but they're not good screen quality (don't expect HD). Shower and bath tub is very nice and clean. Free WiFi is available but not good quality

This was my second time staying at a hostel. Let me be the first to tell you, this hostel is more like a hotel. Room was very clean , and you have your own bathroom and fridge

It was the lowest floor and the room was suitable for a lot of people, so I felt a distance from people walking down the street and cars and the view was not the best

I travel to Shanghai a few times a year and always stay at the Sheraton. Service is always good and I normally get upgraded. This trip is the best upgrade thus far. They always earn my business.

The room is very comfortable and definitely worth the rates. If you take the subway, go towards Exit 3 and you will see the hotel when you are above ground. It is just a bit far from downtown Puxi

Great hotel location in Pudong with Line 4 metro just in front of the hotel. There is a mall besides the hotel where you can eat and shop, very convenient indeed.

Just want to compliment the Duty Manager ( I forgot to get his name) who assisted me promptly in activating the ambulance and led the paramedics to our room to rush my husband who was in high fever and shivering violently in the room to nearby hospital

Best Marriott I have stayed in, probably all in all the best hotel I've stayed in. Lovel, well-designed rooms (been in two different ones), impeccable service, professionalism, cleanliness

I wish Courtyard in the US was up to this standard! This particular location is also very close (a few hundred meters) from two subway stations (take your pick) and the Shanghai Railway Station, so is almost entirely convenient for any trip to the city or region

19th floor room. Good view. Quiet. Though got 2 single beds. Added breakfast for 88rmb. Apparently half the price if you went and put it on the bill. 5 minutes walk to the metro.

Managers in this hotel care about their guests and will refund or discount any service that was not to your satisfaction, they will even through in some compensation drinks!! Rooms are clean and the sizes are very good! Location is very nice for tourists as shopping and many things are within walking distance! Also the hotel is connected to a shopping mall!

The hotel was a nice stay for my family and I! The breakfast spread was fabulous! In the evening, the park across the street, a group of locals meet there to dance

Nicely, walking by, they invited my wife and kids to participate in their dance and got a big ovation. Would go back in a heart beat!
