Nice and friendly hotel, located in a central location in the Troodos

Lovely little hotel in a picturesque village. Ideal starting point for mountain hikes and for exploring the region. Very cozy and tidy and service is exceptional. Rooms are very comfortable with power showers and exceptional heating for the winter.

An amazing village hotel for this who really want to get a taste of what a Cypriot village looks like. The view is stunning and the host is extremely welcoming! We loved it!

I stayed in Ambelikos in the middle of July. It's old traditional stone houses so it was cool inside even in the midday, and also there is a fan on the ceiling in each room. A really cosy, relaxing and peaceful mountain Agrotourism stay. Amazing views from the balcony in the room with parking right behind our room (leave your bags in the car as check in is down lots of steps!). The access road is steep and concrete but was ok in our tiny rental car and there are good parking spaces at the hotel - follow Google maps and the Ambeilikos signs at the bottom of the village...

Mushroom festival in Spilia took place from 3 to 5 December 2021 - nice atmosphere, nice people, delicious mushrooms, local delicacies. We were satisfied and returned home in a good mood.

Recommended 100%. Beautiful cozy place where you really feel at home. The house is very clean, it has everything you need even for a long stay. No towels only. The hosts are wonderful and attentive people. Every day they came with homemade treats. Silence and beauty. You can write a positive long grid about this place. But better come and see for yourself. We were very pleased.

In November we made two different reservations, beginning and end of the month, they gave us almost the same room, i.e. it was 223, then 225, the rooms have air conditioning and heating, all controlled by the management, if they want, they can set this provision for you!! Excellent place.... Great food

The tavern is a very well restored traditional house, turned into a rather spacious and well fitted out tavern. The food is a bit hit and miss, the ofton we were served was dry and the grilled meats rather bland. The owner boasts about the amount of truffle he harvests from the woods, but does not use it in anything on his menu.

Lovely stay in the centre of Kakopetria. You can walk to the nearby village Galata without even knowing it since the two villages have reached both their borders. It is a lovely and cozy 2.5km walk from this hotel. Mrs Maria who is the owner is very polite and supportive

To say we got a room at all on christmas day is almost beyond belief. The hotel was fully booked and busy with guests, the owner gave us a friendly welcome and couldn't believe we had walked 30km to Kakopetria that day in cold winter weather. My first time was when it was renovated back in 2013 and overall it was very good! I went back for a second visit in August 2020 and luckily we were given the same room as in 2013 (The MG suite). It seems like they don't look after the rooms a lot. 2 of the 4 bulbs of the light feature where blown out. The wallpaper behind the bed was hanging off the wall and part of the ceiling was stained due to...

What a special venue! It is located in the middle of the Old Kakopetria. It is a old building complex that has been restored and has so much character. The breakfast was rich and good. Value/Price rate is sooooo high!

Very old hotel very poor renovation we should pay half the price. The breakfast few things no fruits just the picture below. Full of school pupils noisy. The only thing i liked was the waterfall sound of the river below and the great view of it in the morning.
