Was there in august 2017. Host was super kind and helpful. Rooms were very comfortable. Perfect for families with kids or young couples. Only challenge is to get there first time. Nerrow road going up between the small buildings, pay attention.

Nice place to spend a few days off

Our visa application got rejected and out of all the hotels we booked on cyprus, only Vasilopoulos House gave us a free cancellation. Will definitely visit next time!

Stylish living in a stone house and contact with an amazing host of Michalis, we recall after years. Directly in a picturesque village, within easy reach of the shop, tavern, sea approx. 10 km. Muchalis, God give you a healthy health and a long life, let the garden flourish.

Great view, traditional decoration, quite-piece in your mind. Close to sea side-beach. Self catering but close to taverns with very good food. for families and individuals or couples.

We stopped in at the delightful little restaurant for dinner last week while on holiday in Cyprus for a friend's wedding. We have just had a fabulous three night stay in the Cape Town Cabin. The breakfasts are amazing, all prepared using organic vegetables and free range eggs. The owner , Paul, is lovely and sent us home with bags full of veggies from his garden. What a little gem this place is: and the icing on the cake is that it is dog friendly too!

Stayed for 3 nights. Very welcoming, friendly and helpful staff. Ideal for access to the sea and restaurants. Would recommend their breakfasts, although if like me you don't eat a lot you may struggle. Generally clean quiet and relaxing. Great spacious clean rooms with a liitle charmful yard inbetween. Depending which room you are getting. One has two balconys, giving you a nice little view over the wall and the village while the other was just a very spacious room altogether. This is a lovely boutique hotel in the village of Kalavasos. It being so early in the season the hotel wasn't full a lot of the time and consequently there were some service issues which is why only 4 stars. Our room was not cleaned on 3 days. So much enjoyed this place. When I arrived I just wanted some quiet place to stay, and with the jacuzzi it was win win. Nice design, fitting the entire village. Nice restaurants. Everything you need for a simple life in close proximity. The owner is always there to help on the phone or his employees at the building taking care about everything. Always with smile 😊

We have just been here. Not only the room was super clean and lovingly decorated as the rest of the 300 year old house but it is managed by the sweetest of hosts who is very helpful and friendly. Will definitely come here when we return to Cyprus.

Lovely house in the middle of Kalavasos, the check-in process is a bit vague. Its Clean & tidy, although a bit pricy for a apartment that far from the sea. But worth a visit.

We had a really enjoyable stay (8 nights) at Charalambos. Andreas and Simoni are excellent hospitable hosts with lots of ideas for things to do and were generous with gifts during our stay. The apartment was very comfortable and the pool and the garden were well kept and relaxing. We fully recommend this village location and accommodation and we plan to return.

I had a great stay here over 4 nights in early September. I was very comfortable in the little open plan apartment, which had a fully stocked kitchen and was very clean. I barely left the apartment, as I found it a great place to get some rest and relaxation. The town of Kalavasos itself was charming, quiet and easy to get around. Andreas and Simone are amazing hosts, they really know how to pay attention to the details and the place looks like a paradise from the moment you open the main entrance of the complex! Many things to know before you come here: - As reviewed, it’s not the four seasons. It’s bang average with a few minor flaws but mostly okay - Skarinou is in the middle of nowhere! - Public buses are not frequent (though cheap!!) and don’t run late so you can end up stranded (10 mins drive is over an hours walk everywhere) - Taxi’s do not like travelling to or from Skarinou - Not low/declined mobility...
