I loved my stay at Ortner’s Resort! The room was super clean and cozy, with a beautiful view. The staff were so friendly and always ready to help. The whole place had such a relaxing vibe—I’d definitely love to come back!

Nearly perfect a few details to improve still after getting the 5 stars make sure there is fresh orange juice at the buffet , maybe also to have a bell boy to help for the luggage But overall this is fantastic here and the spa huge and wonderful

What a fantastic family run hotel. The food is delicious, breakfast, lunch and dinner! The beds are so comfortable that I checked to try to figure out the brand of mattress! Every single detail is thought out to perfection. I am especially impressed with how well the hotel and staff have handled covid restrictions. I felt safe, spoiled and more relaxed than in months! We have been there about 4 times as a big group of loud, English speaking moms needing a weekend away. This family run hotel has always been amazing. They totally spoil all of us. The accomodation is very comfortable, the food is absolutely amazing and the spa facilities are excellent. Wonderful.

We went on a short trip and were more like welcome at the Sonnenhof. Very, very friendly staff and always helpful, competent and great service, from the reception to the hospitality. Not to mention the outstanding cuisine. We will definitely come again and then longer like just a weekend!

Best catering, very nice staff, a great bathroom with an outdoor pool, Kneipp facility, sauna and steam bath area, a day at the Sonnenhof is always too short. We always love coming back to the Sonnenhof.

All getting on in years, free WiFi only near the reception. Chaos in the dining room at breakfast which was still quite decent compared to dinner. For parking in the unkempt place you have to shell out 3 euros per day. In the many hotels we have visited in the course of our lives, this was the first one that took money from guests for parking.

I understand the other reviews, it's not my worst vacation, but it's not the nicest either. There are a few things that could have been done differently. Staff actually quite friendly. Rooms are clean. But wouldn't call the hotel a wellness hotel.

We were in the cafe on a Sunday. The service was friendly and quick. The house cake was very good. The restaurant is a bit older but clean. The prices were not excessive.

Incredibly inconsistent. Actually not quite: the staff was excellent and very courteous. 👍 The rest inexplicably varied between very good and awful. Tbh, there's too much to describe here. So far, it was OK with room for improvement. The hotel was OK for 3 days. After reading some reports and comparisons beforehand, we booked the hotel with half board. The cozy room was a double room with a connecting door to the neighboring room. Actually a no-go for us. Dogs were also allowed in the hotel, but we had no information about that either.

The food is also very tasty, but definitely too expensive: dinner costs € 25 per person per day, drinks have to be paid for. It's a good hotel, the outside does not reflect the inside. The rooms are spacious, modern and functional, you get a TV, a FREE minibar, free and good wifi, and to top it off, RGB lighting in the rooms. Definitely worth passing by.

Lovely small hotel across the street from the Danube. We had a nice, large room which was spotless, and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning. The location is great for walking around the old town of Passau and enjoying views across the Danube as well as walking along the nearby Inn river.

One thing that stuck out to me was when I was sitting in the lovely canopied garden, the staff asked me if I needed anything by name. This is a nice comfortable hotel on the river, Danube. It is in the same building as the glass museum. The decor and furniture are old style. They have different categories of rooms. Depending on size. We har the smallest and it was really good. It was possible to park my motorcycle outside. It is street parking. Stayed here twice.

What a fantastic old hotel with period furniture along with modern facilities. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast is served in a rooftop dining room with enormous windows on two sides. There is no bar per se but bars and restaurants are in abundance in the neighbourhood. The building also houses the Glass Museum with over 10 000 exhibits. Well worth a visit.

We just went to the restaurant. Traditional Bavarian cuisine, as well as grilled meats that are well done, perfectly cooked and well accompanied. No real surprises, the food is quality, the service is fast and the staff is friendly.

It is nice Hotel with very good service, staff is friendly and helpful, and meal was top..delicious. Ambiente is relaxing and beautiful...it is one of place where you want to visit again !
