We were here for a few days and were super satisfied. The rooms are a generous size and were very clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast buffet has a large selection of fresh cold cuts and everything else your heart desires. There is plenty of parking space and it is centrally located in the village. I had a very nice, spacious room with an elegant shower/toilet and a practical mini kitchen including a fridge, sink, kettle, crockery/pots/glasses/cutlery. Special arrival and departure requests were fulfilled.

The room is comfortably furnished and spacious. The ambience of the hotel, for example in the breakfast room, is rustic and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and happy to cater to special requests. The place itself is very quiet and you can easily reach all attractions even with public transport. This was our second time here and we will always be happy to come back!

A very nice, clean and quiet apartment. You get a friendly welcome and the maid does a good job. I was there on business and didn't use the breakfast because I always had to leave quite early. But I've only heard good things about it. I would love to come back if I have business in the area.

We decided to visit Auerhahn with my family for a relaxing weekend. The hotel was the perfect fit, as we had a room with a cute balcony which allowed us to enjoy the sunset all together. The room was clean and the staff was great.

I have never been to Germany before, but this experience made it worthwile to go back again. Lovely people in a very cute and tidy hotel.

Our stay here was more than wonderful, everything was just done in a perfect way! Especially the location, the park and the furniture of the whole castle are super beautiful and an absolute reason to come here again! Additionally to this, the service team is amazing, as we forgot something in the room and it was send to us without additional effort for us, which is surely nothing every hotel does!

My husband and I spent two nights here on our honeymoon. We really enjoyed this hidden gem! Breakfast on the castle terrace each morning was amazing. There isn't a whole lot to do nearby but the surrounding area is beautiful and it was nice to hike the local trails and see the calcium spring. Highly recommend for a relaxing weekend!

Nice hotel with a really good restaurant. Service is professional, but - for a Romantikhotel - a bit impersonal. Location close to city, but not really romantic. Room is cozy, but without the extra Pfiff, we have experienced at other romantikhotels.

A beautiful hotel in a unique setting! We had wonderful junior suite that was refurbished in modern style. Bathroom was roomy but the shower’s water pressure was really bad. Breakfast was really nice with perfect fried eggs! Only if you allergic to dust be wary of the carpets!

It's just a 3 star hotel. The location is very close to the center. The equipment got a bit old. The staff is very nice and accommodating. The breakfast buffet could be something rich.

We stayed one night at the Hotel Harzresidenz in December 2025. The room was clean, but unfortunately, there was some mold in the shower. The sauna was closed, which surprised us, as there were very few guests at the hotel overall, and it wouldn't have been profitable for the hotel to have it open. Breakfast was very good. The hotel is literally just under 100m away from the train station, about 300m away from a nice supermarket and just under 500m away from the old town. It is a great location! Perfect for a one night stop when travelling by rail. We were able to leave our bags at reception in the morning as we arrived early which was great. The room was fine with a bathroom bigger than the bedroom ! Plenty of choice at breakfast. Helpful staff when we checked in and out.

We were there with a group of 8 people and felt very comfortable. It doesn't matter that it's 2 km to the old town. The staff were more friendly and helpful than ever before. The pool with a flood shower and massage jet is included in the price. The 3-course menu changed daily. Only the breakfast buffet was a bit unimaginative. We can recommend the hotel.

A very nice brauhaus in Quedlinburg, with nice beers but a too fancy menu with sweet potato fries when normal fries and a bread roll instead of the Brioche would have been better.

It is advised to make a reservation as the place was busy. I alread made one in the afternoon when we passed by. Service is decent. Prices are good. But the schnitzels were ordered were huge. Probably 2 persons can eat with one order. they had nice veggies and potatoes. Good beers as well.

Great hotel on Quedlinburg's Marktplatz -- parking on site behind the hotel, and the room was clean and quiet. I was leaving before breakfast was served, so they thoughtfully made me a wonderful to-go bag.

The hotel is located right at the one end of the market square. The room was cozy and comfortable. The room window opened up with a view of the market square but surprisingly it was not noisy even on Sunday in mid July. The breakfast was very good. I had a chance to try several kinds of cheeses and cold cuts that were local to the Harz region.

Nice gaststätte in the center of beautiful Quedlinburg. Sat by the window with a good view of the market place. Had some great tasting soups (gulasch and soljanka). Fair price. Not many vegetarian options but the baked camembert with salad was fine.

Service forgetful, didn’t ask for vaccinations, food was very variable (Schnitzel with sesame excellent, game Sülze was bland) interior rather dated. But the Freiberger dark beer made up for everything.

We booked this hotel a year in advance as we know during Christmas market time is very busy and we requested a room with view of market on the 2nd floor. Where we had stayed once before and had fantastic views from every window in our room.
