Overall nice hotel - always friendly staff and nice, clean rooms. Breakfast was ok. The usual standard. As vegetarians, we would have liked a little more choice here. Overall, however, we were very satisfied with our stay

Great hotel. We were welcomed very friendly. The room was very nice and super clean. A great breakfast buffet with very friendly service. And all at a fair price. If we are in the area again, we will definitely stay at the Mythen resort!

Our stay here was more than wonderful, everything was just done in a perfect way! Especially the location, the park and the furniture of the whole castle are super beautiful and an absolute reason to come here again! Additionally to this, the service team is amazing, as we forgot something in the room and it was send to us without additional effort for us, which is surely nothing every hotel does!

My husband and I spent two nights here on our honeymoon. We really enjoyed this hidden gem! Breakfast on the castle terrace each morning was amazing. There isn't a whole lot to do nearby but the surrounding area is beautiful and it was nice to hike the local trails and see the calcium spring. Highly recommend for a relaxing weekend!

This hotel was really cool! It was built in 1896, and has been well maintained. The breakfast spread was the best I have ever seen, and the employee serving breakfast was top notch. During the evening, a siren went off that sounded like an air raid alarm, but it turned out to be an alarm at the local fire department. We had booked the apartment/holiday apartment with two bedrooms. We didn't realize that this wasn't directly in the hotel, but 1km further away in Haus Tannengrün. When we arrived, the bed in the second bedroom was unmade. But it was done quickly after calling. The second bedroom is not directly in the apartment, but on the ground floor and you have to go through the hallway. May be difficult for families...

We were very satisfied with the hotel as such, also with the staff, great food, quiet location and a new sauna. We booked two double rooms for ourselves and friends through reisenaktuell, but unfortunately we only got very small two-bed/twin rooms in the attic. If you are looking for a quiet hotel without service, bar and restaurant, this is the right place for you. The hotel is idyllically located in the middle of the forest. No cell phone reception. Free WiFi with 1 bar. Dinner only if you book it, then only warmed up, no changes possible. The same cake was in the fridge all week. "Bar" closes at 8 p.m. "Biergarten" only with self-catering from fridge...

A wonderful hotel.. Not only do the rooms and the atmosphere score points, the surroundings are fantastically beautiful.. I can definitely recommend.... There is a sauna area and a large winter garden invites you to eat. For larger celebrations, a lovingly designed room is available separately... I was a completely satisfied guest...

Rooms are small but nice if you don't have high expectations. In other words, a small closet for things, no safe in the room. Service is friendly and makes an effort. Food is so holla, you shouldn't have too high expectations, you'll get full, everything isn't what it looks like. There's nothing going on at this time of year, not even in the hotel itself 🏨 and the outside area just looks like it does...

Room not cleaned upon arrival. Overall, some things seemed unprofessional. It's a shame because the hotel has potential. Blaming everything these days on a lack of staff and sustainability is getting annoying. After all, I'm paying for it too. Breakfast and dinner okay. Nicely decorated rooms, good beds. Staff tried hard. We were accommodated when invoicing. Sauna area was great!

We were there in October. It was very beautiful. The food was very good and the breakfast buffet was sufficient. There was something for every taste. The only drawback, the clairaudience of the room, is perhaps because the TV is on the wall, where the bed is in the other room. We were there for lunch ... great service, a delicious fish soup and the fish plate with 3 different fillets were a pleasure !!! Thanks to the nice service, we felt comfortable! We will definitely be back, there are other delicacies (the game specialties) waiting for us!

We had actually only booked for one night (2 people with 2 dogs), before leaving we had considered staying for one night, unfortunately fully booked…. Pity …. A wonderful hotel for in between with many small details, such as a kettle, hairdryer, soap and storage space in the rooms. My boyfriend and I absolutely loved our stay here! The hotel was super cozy, and we immediately felt comfortable. One of the great bonuses was that we arrived on a Sunday evening, and were pleased to find out that the restaurant/bar was open until 9pm. The menu was quite large, and definitely will have something for everybody. Our room was perfect. It felt like I was staying in somebody's guest room...

Excellent. The fish (forelle) with almond was amazing. The staff were friendly and the prices were fair. Highly recommended.

We all enjoyed stay in Forelle Gasthaus with our friends, family and kids - the surrounding mountains are beuatifull with full of attractions!

Definitely suitable for a short stay. Everything you need is there. If there were any problems, the host was there immediately and found a quick solution to the problem. If you have walking difficulties, the apartments are not recommended as the apartments can only be reached by stairs. There are many things to see and experience all around. Thanks.

We were there with 5 people and had 3 apartments. It was a dream vacation. Only for people with disabilities it is not entirely recommended.

When we come to Thale, we are always here in the vacation home..it is a clean apartment where the kitchen, for example, has just been redone.very nice landlord..the price-performance ratio, in contrast to others, is also great..fair for children and about 20 minutes on foot to the cable car (to the Hexentanzplatz) and the chairlift to the Rosstrappe...
