Good hotel. Spacious rooms amd great value for money. German cleanliness and good service.

The room was spacious, clean and quiet, but there was no air conditioning or fan. Fortunately, the temperature was only 13 degrees at night when we stayed there, so we had a comfortable night

This was perhaps the 3rd time that I have stayed at this hotel. The staff is invariably friendly, efficient, and helpful. It's always a pleasure to overnight here.

Also to note, the hotel is in an old castle style building which adds a great feeling to it and is quite impressive. Amazing place and hotel! Totally recommend it

The hotel is somewhat in the city center and you can walk to the historic center within 2 minutes, where amazing restaurant and architecture can be found

The hotel is close to the tourist attractions, just over 10 minutes' walk away. The hotel has a noble and classical appearance, as if living in a palace

Staff were not the friendliest but, again, this was really a great value and no worries on our part

I wasn’t expecting much but the rooms were spacious, the service excellent and very close to the old town and station make this hotel a must if you are coming to Bamberg

Clean and comfortable. Breakfast is good. A step above other best western hotels and reasonable price. Close to the station and within a short walk from the old town.

Shower good (pressure and comfortable bathroom), and more than enough power outlets, even some that stay on after you remove your card from the reader

I have stayed here before and I really like this hotel. The staff, the rooms and the breakfast are very good. I will stay here again.

Noisy guests! No fan, no air con. We arrived in the heat wave, 40 degreese C. garden not tended to, rather sad and derelict. Parasols long gone from the terrace. Overall, good value for money I would say

The hotel is located on the top of the hill so if you have a heavy luggage then you may consider taking a taxi from a train station. It's still a walking distance anyway

Our room was in the old renovated wing, so that we could look in the courtyard. The facilities and cleanliness is very good. The bed and mattress and duvet were 1A. We haven't slept this well in so long

We spent two days walking around Bamberg after leaving our car in the hotel parking area and though we logged over 23 km during those two days I'd still say anything you want to see is within walking distance

Please AVOID this place at all cost. If You do not arrive between 15 -20 pm You will not get access to the rooms. they will charge You full cost and You will not be permitted even next day

After reading some other reviews we weren't sure what to expect, but parking was not a problem. The rooms are clean and the breakfast buffet is pretty awesome

Very good home cooking, you can't complain. The portions are more than sufficient. The service area should be rated with 6 stars. Street food or food to order and collection is also great

We like to go to the mold or order the food by phone and pick it up. Also over the New Year's Eve menu was very good and priced ok. Too bad there wasn't one in 2017

Delicious Franconian food and even for vegetarians there is always at least 1 dish on the menu, which is not the case in most traditional restaurants

Even when it was busy, the waitresses were always friendly and courteous and even the toilet area is modern and clean

Unfortunately the quality of the food varies depending on how busy it is as there is only one waiter and one chef. In summer you can relax in the garden with a beer. All in all well worth a visit

There's water, bread and more in the room all for free which was really good. Also you can make tea or coffee. I loved that! The place is clean, and very well maintained

Alright to stay there for the weekend for one's stay in bamberg. Best way to put it is it gives the feels of a modern art museum. We got the small double bed room

A querky renovation including much of the owners own reclaimed furniture and artistic light fittings. Great location in the middle of the historic town, across the lane from a nice pub serving smokey beer

The location is good as it’s walking distance from the old town. It is also convenient that there is a parking garage underneath the hotel. It’s shared with the concert hall, but should have ample spaces

Paid 8 euro for 1 night of parking. The room is nice, comfortable, and clean. Water pressure and temperature of the shower was strong. The breakfast looked like a nice spread, but the food was quite cold and stale

Just notice that if you take an elevator up from the parking hall, you'll end up to the different building than the hotel. If so, go out and around the corner you'll find the hotel's entrance

The rooms are extremely clean, a bit on the smaller side, especially for the price. However, the hotel is cute, and a standard European breakfast is included

The gym situation is disheartening: there's very limited equipment, but you are required to pay €4 to use it because it is connected to a sauna area

There is a parking garage underneath the hotel with direct elevator access. The personell is kind, well trained and very helpful. I think one of the best places to stay and discover this beautiful small town

Good breakfast at a reasonable price, our bath had only a bathtub with a handheld showerhead without a curtain. Our room was large and had three big windows, a lot of light. Friendly night staff, had a good chat

Most of them had a strange setup. When you enter the room/apartment you are. in the middle if your bathroom/toilet. And, there is no door between your toilet and the bedroom

Internet connection difficult to impossible with modern security conscious browsers, parking available but difficult, continental breakfast good. Room and bed good. Location good.

Exceptional hotel in the heart of Bamberg. Placed in a historical building it has a nice classical flair in the public areas and stairway. Yet, the rooms are large and well equipped with modern interior

Only downside was the really thick blankets, when it was still really warm (mid September). Breakfast was delicious with good selection of food and drinks

The Hotel was super cleaned and followed all the security measures due to the pandemic. The room is very spacious and beautiful. The bed and pillows are a little too soft

Beautiful property in old Bamberg. Located in the heart of the historic district. Michelin star winning property is a guaranteed good stay. The service is always outstanding

In the middle of Bamberg's old town location, very decent Hotel with modern facilities. Through the Apple screen, you can enjoy TV as well as free of charge on the Internet surfing

entrance for room 30x is from door around corner or from reception take lift to 2nd floor and go down stairs to the 0 level

From reservations, check-in at reception and key issue. Did not realize that I locked my key in the room until 19. Called hotel and she returned 20 minutes later to unlock the room

The hotel is located deep within the city but not far from breweries, eateries, and local shopping. The building is narrowed in space but durable. Getting to your floors can be tricky but the staff can help with that

For example, to get the the 300 rooms you must take the elevator to the second floor then the red stairs down to the ground floor. Or go outside to an outside door to let yourself in

Structure is not too new, but with refurbished bedrooms and comfortable, you reach the town centre with a stroll of a few minutes. Excellent accommodation of bicycles

This hotel has it: very romantic, super central, good cuisine, good rooms, and a price to match the location, feels, and tourist interest. If you have the money to spare, this is the place to spend it.

It was very busy but in a good way, there were plenty of staff on hand to cater. Slightly pricey but that is to be expected at a hotel in such a tourist-heavy location

All in all a good place for a 2 day city break, where you only need a place to sleep and shower

We were in the Landgasthof Heerlein to lunch and had a good time. The weather was good, so that it could be nice to sit in the beer garden, the feature in accordance with yet comfortable
